2Petrogenesis and tectonic implications of early Paleozoic granitoids in East Kunlun belt: Evidences from geochronology, geochemistry and isotopes显示文摘The East Kunlun Orogenic Belt(EKOB) provides an important link to reconstruct the evolution of the Proto-Tethys and Paleo-Tethys realm. The EKOB is marked by widespread Early Paleozoic magmatism.Here we report the petrology, bulk geochemistry, zircon Ue Pb dating and, Lue Hf and SreN d isotopic data of the Early Paleozoic granitic rocks in Zhiyu area of the southern EKOB. Based on the zircon U-Pb dating, these granitoids, consisting of diorite, granodiorite and monzogranite, were formed during 450 -430 Ma the Late Ordovician to Middle Silurian. The diorite and granodiorite are high Sr/Y ratio as adakitic affinities, and the monzogranite belongs to highly fractionated I-type. Their(^(87)Sr/^(86)Sr)ivalues range from 0.7059 to 0.7085, εNd(t) values from -1.6 to -6.0 and the zircon εHf(t) values show large variations from +9.1 to -8.6 with Hf model ages(T_(DM2)) about 848 Ma and 1970 Ma. The large variations of whole-rock Nd and zircon Hf isotopes demonstrate strong isotopic heterogeneity of the source regions which probably resulted from multi-phase underplating of mantle-derived magmas. Geochemical and isotopic studies proved that the diorite and granodiorite had been derived from partial melting of heterogeneous crustal source with variable contributions from ancient continental crust and juvenile components, and the monzogranites were representing fractional crystallization and crustal contamination for arc magma. 3First-order perturbation approximation for rock elastic moduli in transversely isotropic media显示文摘Seismic anisotropy is a relatively common seismic wave phenomenon in laminated sedimentary rocks such as shale and it can be used to investigate mechanical properties of such rocks and other geological materials. Young's modulus and Poisson's ratio are the most common mechanical properties determined in various rock engineering practices. Approximate and explicit equations are proposed for determining Young's modulus and Poisson's ratio in anisotropic rocks, in which the symmetry plane and symmetry axis of the anisotropy are derived from the constitutive equation of transversely isotropic rock. These equations are based on the media decomposition principle and seismic wave perturbation theory and their accuracy is tested on two sets of laboratory data. A strong correlation is found for Young's modulus in two principal directions and for Poisson's ratio along the symmetry plane. Further, there is an underprediction of Poisson's ratio along the symmetry axis, although the overall behavior follows the trend of the measured data. Tests on a real dataset show that it is necessary to account for anisotropy when characterizing rock mechanical properties of shale. 5Response of PM_(2.5)-bound elemental species to emission variations and associated health risk assessment during the COVID-19 pandemic in a coastal megacity显示文摘The coronavirus(COVID-19)pandemic is disrupting the world from many aspects.In this study,the impact of emission variations on PM_(2.5)-bound elemental species and health risks associated to inhalation exposure has been analyzed based on real-time measurements at a remote coastal site in Shanghai during the pandemic.Most trace elemental species decreased significantly and displayed almost no diel peaks during the lockdown.After the lockdown,they rebounded rapidly,of which V and Ni even exceeded the levels before the lockdown,suggesting the recovery of both inland and shipping activities.Five sources were identified based on receptor modeling.Coal combustion accounted for more than 70%of the measured elemental concentrations before and during the lockdown.Shipping emissions,fugitive/mineral dust,and waste incineration all showed elevated contributions after the lockdown.The total non-carcinogenic risk(HQ)for the target elements exceeded the risk threshold for both children and adults with chloride as the predominant species contributing to HQ.Whereas,the total carcinogenic risk(TR)for adults was above the acceptable level and much higher than that for children.Waste incineration was the largest contributor to HQ,while manufacture processing and coal combustion were the main sources of TR.Lockdown control measures were beneficial for lowering the carcinogenic risk while unexpectedly increased the non-carcinogenic risk.From the perspective of health effects,priorities of control measures should be given to waste incineration,manufacture processing,and coal combustion.A balanced way should be reached between both lowering the levels of air pollutants and their health risks.Guochen Wang Kan Huang Qingyan Fu Jia Chen Juntao Huo Qianbiao Zhao Yusen Duan Yanfen Lin Fan Yang Wenjie Zhang Hao Li Jian Xu Xiaofei Qin Na Zhao Congrui Deng 2022Journal of Environmental Sciences2022,34,12:2

14The chemical environment and structural ordering in liquid Mg-Y-Zn system:An ab-initio molecular dynamics investigation of melt for the formation mechanism of LPSO structure显示文摘In an effort to clarify the formation mechanism of LPSO structure in Mg-Y-Zn alloy,the chemical environment and structural ordering in liquid Mg-rich Mg-Y-Zn system are investigated with the aid of ab-initio molecular dynamics simulation.In liquid Mg-rich Mg-Y alloys,the strong Mg-Y interaction is determined,which promotes the formation of fivefold symmetric local structure.For Mg-Zn alloys,the weak Mg-Zn interaction results in the fivefold symmetry weakening in the liquid structure.Due to the coexistence of Y and Zn,the strong attractive interaction is introduced in liquid Mg-Y-Zn ternary alloy,and contributes to the clustering of Mg,Y,Zn launched from Zn.What is more,the distribution of local structures becomes closer to that in pure Mg compared with that in binary Mg-Y and Mg-Zn alloys.These results should relate to the origins of the Y/Zn segregation zone and close-packed stacking mode in LPSO structure,which provides a new insight into the formation mechanism of LPSO structure at atomic level.Tangpeng Ma Jin Wang Kaiming Cheng Chengwei Zhan Jixue Zhou Jingyu Qin Guochen Zhao Xinfang Zhang 2024Journal of Magnesium and Alloys2024,12,2:0
15SWO1 modulates cell wall integrity under salt stress by interacting with importinɑin Arabidopsis显示文摘Maintenance of cell wall integrity is of great importance not only for plant growth and development,but also for the adaptation of plants to adverse environments.However,how the cell wall integrity is modulated under salt stress is still poorly understood.Here,we report that a nuclear-localized Agenet domain-containing protein SWO1(SWOLLEN 1)is required for the maintenance of cell wall integrity in Arabidopsis under salt stress.Mutation in SWO1 gene results in swollen root tips,disordered root cell morphology,and root elongation inhibition under salt stress.The swo1 mutant accumulates less cellulose and pectin but more lignin under high salinity.RNA-seq and ChIP-seq assays reveal that SWO1 binds to the promoter of several cell wall-related genes and regulates their expression under saline conditions.Further study indicates that SWO1 interacts with importinɑIMPA1 and IMPA2,which are required for the import of nuclear-localized proteins.The impa1 impa2 double mutant also exhibits root growth inhibition under salt stress and mutations of these two genes aggravate the salt-hypersensitive phenotype of the swo1 mutant.Taken together,our data suggest that SWO1 functions together with importinɑto regulate the expression of cell wall-related genes,which enables plants to maintain cell wall integrity under high salinity.Zhidan Wang Mugui Wang Changhong Yang Lun Zhao Guochen Qin Li Peng Qijie Zheng Wenfeng Nie Chun-Peng Song Huazhong Shi Jian-Kang Zhu Chunzhao Zhao 2021Stress Biology2021,1,1:0
16Consecutive combined response spectrum显示文摘Appropriate estimates of earthquake response spectrum are essential for design of new structures, or seismic safety evaluation of existing structures. This paper presents an alternative procedure to construct design spectrum from a combined normalized response spectrum(NRSC) which is obtained from pseudo-velocity spectrum with the ordinate scaled by different peak ground amplitudes(PGA, PGV, PGD) in different period regions. And a consecutive function f(T) used to normalize the ordinates is defined. Based on a comprehensive study of 220 strong ground motions recorded during recent eleven large worldwide earthquakes, the features of the NRSC are discussed and compared with the traditional normalized acceleration, velocity and displacement response spectra(NRSA, NRSV, NRSD). And the relationships between ground amplitudes are evaluated by using a weighted mean method instead of the arithmetic mean. Then the NRSC is used to define the design spectrum with given peak ground amplitudes. 17Characteristics of TP53 germline variants and their correlations with Li-Fraumeni syndrome or Li-Fraumeni-like syndrome in Chinese tumor patients显示文摘Li-Fraumeni syndrome(LFS),a rare autosomal-dominant inheritance condition,is associated with a family cancer history as well as pathogenic/likely-pathogenic TP53 germline variants(P/LP TP53 GV).The current clinical methods for detecting LFS are limited.Here,we retrospectively investigate P/LP TP53 GV among Chinese cancer patients by next-generation sequencing and evaluate its relationship with a family cancer history.A total of 270 out of 19,226 cancer patients have TP53 GV,including 53 patients with P/LP TP53 GV.Patients with P/LP TP53 GV are mainly found in male with glioma,lung cancer or sarcoma.The median age of diagnosis for P/LP TP53 GV patients is significantly lower than that of non-P/LP TP53 GV patients(31-years vs.53-years;P<0.01).One LFS patient and 3 Li-Fraumeni-like syndrome(LFL)patients are among the 26 followed-up P/LP TP53 GV patients.Among 25 types of P/LP TP53 GV,the highest variant frequencies occurred at codon 175 and 248.p.M237 I,p.R158 H,p.C238 Y and p.C275 R,are firstly identified among the Chinese LFS/LFL patients.This study reports the(P/LP)TP53 GV characteristics of Chinese pan-cancer patients.These findings suggest analyzing the P/LP TP53 GV in cancer patients is an effective strategy for identifying cancer predisposition syndrome.Panwen Tian Xiaoyan Zhang Sheng Yang Yu Fang Hongling Yuan Wei Li Honglin Zhu Fangping Zhao Jinlei Ding Yunshu Zhu Sizhen Wang Guochen Sun Hongbin Ni Tonghui Ma Ting Lei 2022Journal of Genetics and Genomics2022,49,7:0
18Numerical Study on the Suitability of Passive Solar Heating Technology Based on Differentiated Thermal Comfort Demand显示文摘Indoor thermal comfort and passive solar heating technologies have been extensively studied.However,few studies have explored the suitability of passive solar heating technologies based on differentiated thermal comfort demands.This work took the rural dwellings in Northwest China as the research object.First,the current indoor and outdoor thermal environment in winter and the mechanism of residents’differentiated demand for indoor thermal comfort were obtained through tests,questionnaires,and statistical analysis.Second,a comprehensive passive optimized design of existing buildings was conducted,and the validity of the optimized combination scheme was explored using DesignBuilder software.Finally,the suitability of passive solar heating technology for each region in Northwest China was analyzed based on residents’differentiated demand for indoor thermal comfort.The regions were then classified according to the suitability of the technology for these.The results showed that the indoor heating energy consumption was high and the indoor thermal environment was not ideal,yet the solar energy resources were abundant.Indoor comfort temperature indexes that match the functional rooms and usage periods were proposed.For the buildings with the optimized combination scheme,the average indoor temperature was increased significantly and the temperature fluctuation was decreased dramatically.Most regions in Northwest China were suitable for the development of passive solar heating technology.Based on the obtained suitability of the technology for the regions of Northwest China,these were classified into most suitable,more suitable,less suitable,and unsuitable regions.Xiaona Fan Qin Zhao Guochen Sang Yiyun Zhu 2022Computer Modeling in Engineering & Sciences2022,,8:0
19Petrogenesis of granitic pegmatite veins:Perspectives from major element and B isotope in tourmalines,Chakabeishan,Northern Tibetan Plateau显示文摘The petrogenesis of regionally zoned granitic pegmatite veins remains debated.Because of the economic significance,we carried out a study on the Chakabeishan(CKBS)pegmatite-type Li-Be deposit,eastern North Qaidam Tectonic Belt,Northern Tibetan Plateau,by means of in-situ major element and B isotope compositions of tourmalines in the beryl-bearing and spodumene-bearing pegmatite veins.Tourmalines(Tur-Be)from the beryl-bearing pegmatite are homogeneous schorl with low Mg/(Mg+Fe),high Na/(Na+Ca)and Y Al,suggesting that they are of magmatic origin.Two generations of tourmalines(TurLi)from the spodumene-bearing pegmatite are identified:(i)the crystal cores(mostly elbaite and Lirich schorl with subordinate schorl)are consistent with being of magmatic origin crystallized at the magmatic stage;(ii)the crystal rims(schorl)are best understood as the overgrowth at the later hydrothermal stage.Tur-Be and Tur-Li show an obvious difference in core-to-rim B isotopic variation trend with d11B decrease in Tur-Be and increase in Tur-Li.The core-to-rim d11B decrease in Tur-Be results from degassing during its host pegmatitic melt evolution,whereas the core-to-rim d11B increase in Tur-Li is related to fluid exsolution.The estimated d11B values for the initial melts of the beryl-bearing and spodumenebearing pegmatites are10.46‰and10.78‰,respectively,indicating that they most likely originate from protracted fractional crystallization/differentiation of granitic intrusions rather than partial melting of metapelite.Both Mg/(Mg+Fe)ratios and Li abundances in the cores of Tur-Be are lower than those of Tur-Li,suggesting that Tur-Li crystallizes from chemically more evolved melts.Wenli Sun Zhidan Zhao Yaoling Niu Chunjing Wei Guochen Dong Xiaowei Li Wanming Yuan Tao Wang Bingzhang Wang Tong Pan Jie Han Hongliang Cao Yan Tang Dicheng Zhu 2023Geoscience Frontiers2023,14,5:0
