| 1 | Petrogenesis and tectonic implications of early Paleozoic granitoids in East Kunlun belt: Evidences from geochronology, geochemistry and isotopes显示文摘The East Kunlun Orogenic Belt(EKOB) provides an important link to reconstruct the evolution of the Proto-Tethys and Paleo-Tethys realm. The EKOB is marked by widespread Early Paleozoic magmatism.Here we report the petrology, bulk geochemistry, zircon Ue Pb dating and, Lue Hf and SreN d isotopic data of the Early Paleozoic granitic rocks in Zhiyu area of the southern EKOB. Based on the zircon U-Pb dating, these granitoids, consisting of diorite, granodiorite and monzogranite, were formed during 450 -430 Ma the Late Ordovician to Middle Silurian. The diorite and granodiorite are high Sr/Y ratio as adakitic affinities, and the monzogranite belongs to highly fractionated I-type. Their(^(87)Sr/^(86)Sr)ivalues range from 0.7059 to 0.7085, εNd(t) values from -1.6 to -6.0 and the zircon εHf(t) values show large variations from +9.1 to -8.6 with Hf model ages(T_(DM2)) about 848 Ma and 1970 Ma. The large variations of whole-rock Nd and zircon Hf isotopes demonstrate strong isotopic heterogeneity of the source regions which probably resulted from multi-phase underplating of mantle-derived magmas. Geochemical and isotopic studies proved that the diorite and granodiorite had been derived from partial melting of heterogeneous crustal source with variable contributions from ancient continental crust and juvenile components, and the monzogranites were representing fractional crystallization and crustal contamination for arc magma. | 2 | A reactive oxygen species burst causes haploid induction in maize显示文摘Haploid induction (HI) is an important tool in crop breeding. Phospholipase A1 (ZmPLA1)/NOT LIKE DAD (NLD)/MATRILINEAL (MTL) is a key gene controlling HI in maize;however, the underlying molecular mechanism remains unclear. In this study, to dissect why loss of ZmPLA1 function could mediate HI we performed a comprehensive multiple omics analysis of zmpla1 mutant anthers by integrating transcriptome, metabolome, quantitative proteome, and protein modification data. Functional classes of significantly enriched or differentially abundant molecular entities were found to be associated with the oxidative stress response, suggesting that a reactive oxygen species (ROS) burst plays a critical role in HI. In support of this, we further discovered that a simple chemical treatment of pollen with ROS reagents could lead to HI. Moreover, we identified ZmPOD65, which encodes a sperm-specific peroxidase, as a new gene controlling HI. | 3 | Response of PM_(2.5)-bound elemental species to emission variations and associated health risk assessment during the COVID-19 pandemic in a coastal megacity显示文摘The coronavirus(COVID-19)pandemic is disrupting the world from many aspects.In this study,the impact of emission variations on PM_(2.5)-bound elemental species and health risks associated to inhalation exposure has been analyzed based on real-time measurements at a remote coastal site in Shanghai during the pandemic.Most trace elemental species decreased significantly and displayed almost no diel peaks during the lockdown.After the lockdown,they rebounded rapidly,of which V and Ni even exceeded the levels before the lockdown,suggesting the recovery of both inland and shipping activities.Five sources were identified based on receptor modeling.Coal combustion accounted for more than 70%of the measured elemental concentrations before and during the lockdown.Shipping emissions,fugitive/mineral dust,and waste incineration all showed elevated contributions after the lockdown.The total non-carcinogenic risk(HQ)for the target elements exceeded the risk threshold for both children and adults with chloride as the predominant species contributing to HQ.Whereas,the total carcinogenic risk(TR)for adults was above the acceptable level and much higher than that for children.Waste incineration was the largest contributor to HQ,while manufacture processing and coal combustion were the main sources of TR.Lockdown control measures were beneficial for lowering the carcinogenic risk while unexpectedly increased the non-carcinogenic risk.From the perspective of health effects,priorities of control measures should be given to waste incineration,manufacture processing,and coal combustion.A balanced way should be reached between both lowering the levels of air pollutants and their health risks. | Guochen Wang Kan Huang Qingyan Fu Jia Chen Juntao Huo Qianbiao Zhao Yusen Duan Yanfen Lin Fan Yang Wenjie Zhang Hao Li Jian Xu Xiaofei Qin Na Zhao Congrui Deng | 2022 | Journal of Environmental Sciences2022，34，12： | 2 |

The regularities of the variation of the velocity in the dredged channel in clear water are discussed as well. A group of curves such as water depth, velocity and angle has been plotted as a guide to the selection of a proper direction for a dredged channel. | 15 | Role of depressive symptoms in cardiometabolic diseases and subsequent transitions to all-cause mortality:an application of multistate models in a prospective cohort study显示文摘Background and purpose The role of depression in the development and outcome of cardiometabolic diseases remains to be clarified.We aimed to examine the extent to which depressive symptoms affect the transitions from healthy to diabetes,stroke,heart disease and subsequent all-cause mortality in a middle-aged and elderly European population.Methods A total of 78212 individuals aged≥50 years from the Survey of Health Ageing and Retirement in Europe were included.Participants with any baseline cardiometabolic diseases including diabetes,stroke and heart disease were excluded.Depressive symptoms were measured by the Euro-Depression scale at baseline.Participants were followed up to determine the occurrence of cardiometabolic diseases and all-cause mortality.We used multistate models to estimate the transition-specific HRs and 95%CIs after adjustment of confounders.Results During 500711 person-years of follow-up,4742 participants developed diabetes,2173 had stroke,5487 developed heart disease and 7182 died.Depressive symptoms were significantly associated with transitions from healthy to diabetes(HR:1.12,95%CI:1.05 to 1.20),stroke(HR:1.31,95%CI:1.18 to 1.44),heart disease(HR:1.26,95%CI:1.18 to 1.34)and all-cause mortality(HR:1.41,95%CI:1.34 to 1.49).After cardiometabolic diseases,depressive symptoms were associated with the increased risk of all-cause mortality in patients with diabetes(HR:1.54,95%CI:1.25 to 1.89),patients who had stroke(HR:1.29,95%CI:1.03 to 1.61)and patients with heart disease(HR:1.21,95%CI:1.02 to 1.44).Conclusions Depressive symptoms increase the risk of diabetes,stroke and heart disease,and affect the risk of mortality after the onset of these cardiometabolic conditions.Screening and treatment of depressive symptoms may have profound implications for the prevention and prognosis of cardiometabolic diseases. | Yanan Qiao Siyuan Liu Guochen Li Yanqiang Lu Ying Wu Yi Ding Chaofu Ke | 2021 | Stroke & Vascular Neurology2021，6，4： | 1 |

| 20 | The effects of the source composition on the origin of orthopyroxenebearing adakitic granitoid in West Qinling,Central China显示文摘Orthopyroxene-bearing granodiorite(sometimes referred to as‘charnockite’)with an adakitic affinity is a rare type of granitoid.It is generally accepted that the stabilization of orthopyroxene in igneous charnockites essentially requires low aH_(2)O and/or high temperatures in a closed system.However,orthopyroxene can be an antecryst in a trans-crustal magmatic system.In this regard,orthopyroxenebearing granitoids are somewhat analogous to pseudo-charnockites,where the orthopyroxene stems from a mafic reservoir.On the other hand,the source compositions of continental adakites can vary,which is often ignored in the interpretation of their contribution to the adakitic geochemical signature.In this study,we have investigated a rare orthopyroxene-bearing felsic pluton from the Zhuyuan area of West Qinling,Central China.The Zhuyuan pluton was emplaced in the Middle–Late Triassic(222–217 Ma)and is mainly composed of metaluminous to weakly peraluminous granodiorites belonging to the high-K calc-alkaline series.Moreover,they are characterized by high Mg#values(49.7–60.9)and Sr contents(471–697 ppm),low Y(12.2–15.4 ppm)and Yb(1.03–1.24 ppm)contents,high Sr/Y(33.2–46.2)and(La/Yb)_(N)(15.3–21.4)ratios,and weakly negative Eu anomalies(Eu/Eu^(*)=0.78–0.89).The Zhuyuan adakitic granodiorites exhibit fairly limited Sr–Nd–Pb isotopic ratios and variable zircon initial Hf isotopes,indicating a major contribution from the Neoproterozoic basement of the Qinling Orogenic Belt.There is no evidence of any formation through high-pressure magmatic processes,and we propose that the adakitic signature of the Zhuyuan pluton could have been inherited from its source rocks(i.e.,from the Neoproterozoic basement).The orthopyroxenes in the Zhuyuan granodiorites display poikilitic textures with high MgO,NiO and Cr_(2)O_(3) contents,indicating that they have an antecrystic origin.Studies of regional tectonic evolution have shown that the Zhuyuan granodiorites formed during the tearing stage of the A’nimaque–Mianlue oceanic subduction slab.Therefore,this study emphasizes the effect of source inheritance on the formation of pseudo-charnockite with an adakitic signature. | Yuanhui Xie Xiaowei Li Xuanxue Mo Guochen Dong Yuqin Sun Wei Shan | 2023 | Geoscience Frontiers2023，14，3： | 1 |
