| 1 | Genome-wide analysis and molecular dissection of the SPL gene family in Salvia miltiorrhiza显示文摘SQUAMOSA promoter binding protein-likes(SPLs) are plant-specific transcription factors playing vital regulatory roles in plant growth and development. There is no information about SPLs in Salvia miltiorrhiza(Danshen), a significant medicinal plant widely used in Traditional Chinese medicine(TCM) for >1,700 years and an emerging model plant for TCM studies. Through genome-wide identification and subsequent molecular cloning, we identified a total 15 SmSPLs with divergent sequence features, gene structures, and motifs. Comparative analysis showed sequence conservation between SmSPLs and their Arabidopsis counterparts. A phylogenetic tree clusters SmSPLs into six groups. Many of the motifs identified commonly exist in a group/subgroup, implying their functional redundancy. Eight SmSPLs were predicted and experimentally validated to be targets of miR156/157. SmSPLs were differentially expressed in various tissues of S. milltiorrhiza. The expression of miR156/157-targeted SmSPLs was increased withthe maturation of S. miltiorrhiza, whereas the expression of miR156/157 was decreased, confirming the regulatory roles of miR156/157 in SmSPLs and suggesting the functions of SmSPLs in S. miltiorrhiza development. The expression of miR156/157 was negatively correlated with miR172 during the maturation of S. miltiorrhiza. | 2 | Process mineralogy of Weishan rare earth ore by MLA显示文摘Mineral liberation analyser(MLA) was applied to quantitatively analyze the rare earth ore from Weishan in Shandong. Mineralogy parameters, such as mineral composition, occurrence states of rare earth elements(REEs) and valuable elements, mineral embedded grain size distribution, mineral association and liberation, are obtained. Results show that the contents of REEs and other valuable elements mainly contained in the ore were La 1.02 wt%, Ce 4.29 wt%, Pr 0.34 wt%, Nd 0.84 wt%, Sr 3.4 wt%and Ba 26.53 wt%, respectively. The REEs mainly occur in bastnaesite and carbocernaite in the form of independent mineral and the contents of bastnaesite and carbocernaite in the ore were 5.96 wt% and12.30 wt%, respectively. 67.34% of strontium occurs in carbocernaite and the rest occurs in celestobarite and strontianite mineral. 92.71% of barium occurs in barite. Liberation of main rare-earth minerals such as bastnaesite and carbocernaite is more than 80% when the grinding fineness is78.42% passing 74 μm. | 3 | Enhancing mineral liberation of a Canadian rare earth are with microwave pretreatment显示文摘Liberation. as an attribute of mineralogy characteristic. whose impacts on finely disseminated Canadian rare earth ore was studied with microwave pretreatment. Samples of a light rare earth ore along with mostly ankerite and biotite as dominant gangue minerals as well as bastnaesite, strontianite and goethite as dominated minerals were exposed to further comminution by ball mill and microwave pretreatment fragmentation. Mineralogical characteristics were analyzed by using a mineral liberation analyzer(MLA).The results indicated that tight association mutually penetrates among dominated minerals in the range size of -300 + 212 μm and 212 + 150 μm and gangue minerals in the form of adjacent type. fine vein type. shell type and packing type. Temperature in the ore samples pre-treated by microwave can rapidly rise to 250 ℃ with microwave power of 0-1.5 kW and microwave time of 0-2 min. Applying the microwave pretreatment merely reduces the hardness of the ore causing the fracture of rare earth ore, but this does not transform or change the original mineralogy characteristics of the ore samples. On the basis of above study. the liberation value of bastnaesite, strontianite and goethite with microwave pretreatment is greater than with conventional comminution when the liberation class is above 75%. The distribution of particle size of rare earth ore samples is better with microwave pretreatment than with conventional comminution for particle size of 7.4 × 10^(-5) m. | 4 | Effects of land-use types on the vertical distribution of fractions of oxidizable organic carbon on the Loess Plateau, China显示文摘The oxidizability of soil organic carbon(SOC_) influences soil quality and carbon sequestration. Four fractions of oxidizable organic carbon(very labile(C_1), labile(C_2), less labile(C_3) and non-labile(C_4)) reflect the status and composition of SOC_ and have implications for the change and retention of SOC_. Studies of the fractions of oxidizable organic carbon(OC_) have been limited to shallow soil depths and agroecosystems. How these fractions respond at deep soil depths and in other types of land-use is not clear. In this study, we evaluated the vertical distributions of the fractions of oxidizable organic carbon to a soil depth of 5.0 m in 10 land-use types in the Zhifanggou Watershed on the Loess Plateau, C_hina. Along the soil profile, C_1 contents were highly variable in the natural grassland and shrubland I(C_aragana microphylla), C_2 and C_4 contents were highly variable in the natural grassland and two terraced croplands, respectively, and C_3 contents varied little. Among the land-use types, natural grassland had the highest C__1 and C_2 contents in the 0–0.4 m layers, followed by shrubland I in the 0–0.1 m layer. Natural grassland had the highest C_4 contents in the 1.0–4.5 m layers. | 5 | Improved hemostatic effects by Fe^(3+)modified biomimetic PLLA cotton-like mat via sodium alginate grafted with dopamine显示文摘The development of an excellent,bioabsorbable hemostatic material for deep wound remains a challenge.In this work,a biodegradable cotton-like biomimetic fibrous mat of poly(L-lactic acid)(PLLA)was made by melt spinning.Subsequently,SD composite was prepared by cross-linking sodium alginate(SA)with dopamine(DA).It was immobilized on the fibre surface,which inspired by mussel byssus.Finally,Fe^(3+)was loaded onto the 0.5SD/PLLA composite by chelation with the carboxyl of alginate and phenolic hydroxy of dopamine.The haemostasis experiment found that the hemostatic time 47 s in vitro.However,the bleeding volume was 0.097 g and hemostatic time was 23 s when 20Fe^(3+)-0.5SD/PLLA was applied in the haemostasis of the rat liver.As a result of its robust hydrophilicity and bouffant cotton-like structure,it could absorb a large water from blood,which could concentrate the component of blood and reduce the clotting time.Furthermore,the addition of Fe^(3+)in the 0.5SD/PLLA had a significant effect on improve hemostatic property.It also displayed excellent antibacterial property for Escherichia coli and Staphylococcus aureus.Notably,it possesses superior hemocompatibility,cytocompatibility and histocompatibility.Hence,20Fe^(3+)-0.5SD/PLLA has high potential application in haemostasis for clinical settings due to its outstanding properties. | Caili Lv Linlong Li Zixue Jiao Huanhuan Yan Zongliang Wang Zhenxu Wu Min Guo Yu Wang Peibiao Zhang | 2021 | Bioactive Materials2021,6,8: | 3 |

| 8 | Improving Interfacial Adhesion of PLA/Lignin Composites by One-Step Solvent-Free Modification Method显示文摘To clarify the effects of lignin as a biodegradable filler added into the PLA matrix,PLA/lignin composites with or without silane coupling agent ofγ-(2,3-epoxypropoxy)propy trimethoxysilane(KH560)were prepared by a one-step solvent-free modification method.The effects of KH560 as a compatibilizer on the morphology,chemical structure,crystallization behavior,thermal degradative behavior as well as mechanical strength of the PLA/lignin composites were analyzed in detail.It was found that,after modification by KH560,the fractured surfaces of composites became smooth,suggested sufficient bonding between the lignin and PLA in the composites with KH560 coupling agent molecules.This result further proved by 1H NMR and ATR spectra of the composites that lignin and PLA formed stable chemical bonds with KH560.Due to the toughening effect of KH560,mainly affect the molecular chain mobility,the thermodynamic properties of LG-KH560/PLA composites were all reduced.When compared to the conventional solution modification method of adding silane coupling agents into PLA/lignin,the composites were synthesized via a single-step reactive extrusion modification procedure in this work showed relatively low tensile strength,which mainly because the existence of the free radicals due to coupling agents result in the composite’s deterioration and subsequent weakening of the tensile properties. | Ningning Wang Caili Zhang Wenqin Zhu Yunxuan Weng | 2020 | Journal of Renewable Materials2020,8,9: | 1 |
| 9 | 人参皂甙Rg3对人喉鳞癌Hep-2细胞分泌性VEGF的影响(英文)显示文摘Objective: The aim of this study was to investigate the affecting of Rg3 to secreted VEGF of human laryngeal carcinoma Hep-2 cells and its mechanism of inhibition to tumor angiogenesis. Methods: Cultured human laryngeal cancer cell line Hep-2 and human vascular endothelial cells in vitro, cells got into the period of exponential phase of growth, was diviced into 3 groups: group I(control group), group II(DDP group), group III(Rg3 group). Added to the Hep-2 cells Rg3 and DDP, made Rg3 final concentration was 300 μg/mL, and DDP was 3 μg/mL. 48 h later, specimens from sample to be done immunocytochemistry, and the protein of VEGF in Hep-2 cells to be detected. Collecting Hep-2 cells supernatant, some was used to measure the protein level of VEGF in Hep-2 cells supernatant by ELISA. Some was used to culture HVEC. 24 h later,cell growth inhibition rate of human vascular endothelial was determined by MTT. Results: The protein level of VEGF was evidently higher in group I compared to group II and group III, it was not only in Hep-2 cells, but also in supernatant of Hep-2 cells.There was no significantly different between group II and group III. MTT results showed that, the human vascular endothelial cell growth inhibition rate of group I was significantly lower than that of group II and group III(P < 0.05). At the same time the HVEC growth inhibition rate of group II was significantly lower than that of group III(P < 0.05). Conclusion: The inhibition to tumor angiogenesis of Rg3 is stronger than traditional chemotherapy drug cisplatin. | 18 | Bioprosthetic Valve Size Selection to Optimize Aortic Valve ReplacementSurgical Outcome: A Fluid-Structure Interaction Modeling Study显示文摘Aortic valve replacement(AVR)remains a major treatment option for patients with severe aortic valve disease.Clinical outcome of AVR is strongly dependent on implanted prosthetic valve size.Fluid-structure interaction(FSI)aortic root models were constructed to investigate the effect of valve size on hemodynamics of the implanted bioprosthetic valve and optimize the outcome of AVR surgery.FSI models with 4 sizes of bioprosthetic valves(19(No.19),21(No.21),23(No.23)and 25 mm(No.25))were constructed.Left ventricle outflow track flow data from one patient was collected and used as model flow conditions.Anisotropic Mooney–Rivlin models were used to describe mechanical properties of aortic valve leaflets.Blood flow pressure,velocity,systolic valve orifice pressure gradient(SVOPG),systolic cross-valve pressure difference(SCVPD),geometric orifice area,and flow shear stresses from the four valve models were compared.Our results indicated that larger valves led to lower transvalvular pressure gradient,which is linked to better post AVR outcome.Peak SVOPG,mean SCVPD and maximum velocity for Valve No.25 were 48.17%,49.3%,and 44.60%lower than that from Valve No.19,respectively.Geometric orifice area from Valve No.25 was 52.03%higher than that from Valve No.19(1.87 cm2 vs.1.23 cm2).Implantation of larger valves can significantly reduce mean flow shear stress on valve leaflets.Our initial results suggested that larger valve size may lead to improved hemodynamic performance and valve cardiac function post AVR.More patient studies are needed to validate our findings. | Caili Li Dalin Tang Jing Yao Christopher Baird Haoliang Sun Chanjuan Gong Luyao Ma Yanjuan Zhang Liang Wang Han Yu Chun Yang Yongfeng Shao | 2021 | Computer Modeling in Engineering & Sciences2021,,4: | 1 |
