| 2 | Relationship between Two Blood Stasis Syndromes and Inflammatory Factors in Patients with Acute Coronary Syndrome显示文摘Objective: To investigate the relationship between inflammatory factors and two Chinese medicine(CM) syndrome types of qi stagnation and blood stasis(QSBS) and qi deficiency and blood stasis(QDBS) in patients with acute coronary syndrome(ACS). Methods: Sixty subjects with ACS, whose pathogenesis changes belongs to qi disturbance blood stasis syndrome, were divided into 2 groups: 30 in the QSBS group and 30 in the QDBS group. The comparative analysis on them was carried out through comparing general information, coronary angiography and inflammatory factors including intracellular adhesion molecule-1(ICAM-1), chitinase-3-like protein 1(YKL-40) and lipoprotein-associated phospholipase A2(Lp-PLA2). Results: Compared with the QSBS group, Lp-PLA2 and YKL-40 levels in the QDBS group showed no-significant difference(P>0.05); ICAM-1 was significantly higher in the QDBS group than in the QSBS group in the pathological processes of qi disturbance and blood stasis syndrome of ACS(P<0.05). | 3 | How Work Organization Affects the Prevalence of WMSDs: A Case-control Study显示文摘Objective In this study, we aimed at exploring the association between work-related musculoskeletal disorders(WMSDs) and work organization based on a case-control study. Methods A total of 1938 workers who claimed to suffer from WMSDs were selected from Beijing, Henan, Hubei, and the Guangdong province. The control group consisted of 2009 workers employed in similar industries without severe disease or musculoskeletal discomforts. We used a modified version of the questionnaire developed by the NMQ and the DMQ to investigate individual and work-related factors. Results A total of 13 variables(P<0.1) were selected by the chi-square test and finally, 7 variables entered into the equation, with 6 variables reaching statistical significance(P<0.05). The odds ratios(OR) of ‘work changing with season' and ‘sufficient rest time' did not reach 1(0.749 and 0.441, respectively). In addition, ‘sufficient rest time' seemed to be the stronger protective factor according to its higher standardized coefficient. And ‘repetitive work every minute', ‘constantly repetitive work'(every day), ‘shortage of site personnel', and ‘often switching shifts with others' seemed to be the risk factors. Conclusion Work organization may have comprehensive effects on the occurrence of WMSDs. | 5 | Identification of biomarkers for hepatocellular carcinoma by semiquantitative immunocytochemistry显示文摘AIM:To investigate the expression of key biomarkers in hepatoma cell lines,tumor cells from patients’blood samples,and tumor tissues.METHODS:We performed the biomarker tests in two steps.First,cells plated on coverslips were used to assess biomarkers,and fluorescence intensities were calculated using the NIH Image J software.The measured values were analyzed using the SPSS19.0 software to make comparisons among eight cell lines.Second,eighty-four individual samples were used to assess the biomarkers’expression.Negative enrichment of the blood samples was performed,and karyocytes were isolated and dropped onto pretreated glass slides for further analysis by immunofluorescence staining.Fluorescence intensities were compared among hepatocellular carcinoma(HCC)patients,chronic HBV-infected patients,and healthy controls following methods similar to those used for cell lines.The relationships between the expression of biomarkers and clinical pathological parameters were analyzed by Spearman rank correlation tests.In addition,we studied the distinct biomarkers’expression with three-dimensional laser confocal microscopy reconstructions,and Kaplan-Meier survival analysis was performed to understand the clinical significance of these biomarkers.RESULTS:Microscopic examination and fluorescence intensity calculations indicated that cytokeratin 8/18/19(CK)expression was significantly higher in six of the seven HCC cell lines examined than in the control cells,and the expression levels of asialoglycoprotein receptor(ASGPR)and glypican-3(GPC3)were higher in all seven HCC cell lines than in the control.Cells obtained from HCC patients’blood samples also displayed significantly higher expression levels of ASGPR,GPC3,and CK than cells from chronic HBV-infected patients or healthy controls;these proteins may be valuable surface biomarkers for identifying HCC circulating tumor cells isolated and enriched from the blood samples.The stem cell-like and epithelial-mesenchymal transition-related biomarkers could be detected on the karyocyte slides.ASGPR and GPC3 were expressed at high levels,and thus three-dimensional reconstructions were used to observe their expression in detail.This analysis indicated that GPC3 was localized in the cytoplasm and membrane,but that ASGPR had a polar localization.Survival analyses showed that expression of GPC3 and ASGPR is associated with a patient’s overall survival(OS).CONCLUSION:ASGPR,GPC3,and CK may be valuable HCC biomarkers for CTC detection;the expression of ASGPR and GPC3 might be helpful for understanding patients’OS. | Hong Mu Kai-Xuan Lin Hong Zhao Shu Xing Cong Li Fang Liu Hai-Zhen Lu Ze Zhang Yu-Lin Sun Xi-Yun Yan Jian-Qiang Cai Xiao-Hang Zhao | 2014 | World Journal of Gastroenterology2014,20,19: | 8 |

| 8 | The combination of PD-1 blockade with interferon-αhas a synergistic effect on hepatocellular carcinoma显示文摘Background The efficacy of immune checkpoint inhibitors(ICIs),such as programmed cell death protein-1(PD-1)or its ligand 1(PD-L1)antibody,in hepatocellular carcinoma(HCC)is limited,and it is recommended that they be combined with other therapies.We evaluated the combination of pegylated interferon-α(Peg-IFNα)with PD-1 blockade in HCC mouse models.Methods We analyzed the effects of Peg-IFNαon tumor-infiltrating immune cells and PD-1 expression in the HCC immune microenvironment and examined the underlying mechanism of its unique effect on the PD-1 pathway.The in vivo efficacy of anti-PD-1 and Peg-IFNαwas evaluated in both subcutaneous and orthotopic mouse models of HCC.Results The combination of Peg-IFNαwith PD-1 blockade dramatically enhanced T-cell infiltration,improved the efficacy of PD-1 antibody and prolonged mouse survival compared with PD-1 antibody monotherapy.Mechanistically,Peg-IFNαcould recruit cytotoxic CD8+T cells to infiltrate the HCC microenvironment by inducing tumor cells to secrete the chemokine CCL4.Nevertheless,the HCC microenvironment quickly overcame the immune responses by upregulating PD-1 expression in CD8+T cells via the IFNα-IFNAR1-JAK1-STAT3 signaling pathway.The combination of PD-1 blockade with Peg-IFNαcould restore the cytotoxic capacity of CD8+T cells and exerted a significant synergistic effect on HCC.Conclusion These results indicate that in addition to initiating the antitumor immune response itself,Peg-IFNαcan also generate a microenvironment favoring PD-1 blockade.Thus,the combination of Peg-IFNαand PD-1 blockade can be a promising strategy for HCC. | Ying Zhu Mo Chen Da Xu Tian-En Li Ze Zhang Jian-Hua Li Xiang-Yu Wang Xin Yang Lu Lu Hu-Liang Jia Qiong-Zhu Dong Lun-Xiu Qin | 2022 | Cellular & Molecular Immunology2022,19,6: | 6 |

| 11 | Porphyromonas gingivalis exacerbates ulcerative colitis via Porphyromonas gingivalis peptidylarginine deiminase显示文摘Abstract:Ulcerative Colitis(UC)has been reported to be related to Porphyromonas gingivalis(P.gingivalis).Porphyromonas gingivalis peptidylarginine deiminase(PPAD),a virulence factor released by P.gingivalis,is known to induce inflammatory responses.To explore the pathological relationships between PPAD and UC,we used homologous recombination technology to construct a P.gingivalis strain in which the PPAD gene was deleted(Δppad)and aΔppad strain in which the PPAD gene was restored(comΔppad).C57 BL/6 mice were orally gavaged with saline,P.gingivalis,Δppad,or comΔppad twice a week for the entire 40 days(days 0-40),and then,UC was induced by dextran sodium sulfate(DSS)solution for 10 days(days 31-40).P.gingivalis and comΔppad exacerbated DDS-induced colitis,which was determined by assessing the parameters of colon length,disease activity index,and histological activity index,butΔppad failed to exacerbate DDS-induced colitis.Flow cytometry and ELISA revealed that compared withΔppad,P.gingivalis,and comΔppad increased T helper 17(Th17)cell numbers and interleukin(IL)-17 production but decreased regulatory T cells(Tregs)numbers and IL-10 production in the spleens of mice with UC.We also cocultured P.gingivalis,Δppad,or comΔppad with T lymphocytes in vitro and found that P.gingivalis and comΔppad significantly increased Th17 cell numbers and decreased Treg cell numbers.Immunofluorescence staining of colon tissue paraffin sections also confirmed these results.The results suggested that P.gingivalis exacerbated the severity of UC in part via PPAD. | Xida Zhao Jingbo Liu Chong Zhang Ning Yu Ze Lu Shuwei Zhang Yuchao Li Qian Li Junchao Liu Dongjuan Liu Yaping Pan | 2021 | International Journal of Oral Science2021,13,3: | 5 |
| 12 | Microstructure,tensile properties and thermal stability of AlMgSiScZr alloy printed by laser powder bed fusion显示文摘The new generation of Sc and Zr modified Al alloys has been attracted wide concerns in aerospace industry,owing to the excellent mechanical performances and superior thermal stability than other normal Al alloys.By microalloying with Sc and Zr,the Al3(Sc,Zr)particle forms as the grain refiner during the solidification,which is extremely beneficial for the laser powder bed fusion(LPBF)processed Al alloys.In this study,a new type Al-14.1 Mg-0.47 Si-0.31 Sc-0.17 Zr alloy was additively manufactured by LPBF,and the microstructure,tensile properties and thermal stability were studied in detail.By using a single melt-67°scanning strategy,the LPBF-processed specimen with a relative density of 99.4%and tensile strength of 487.7 MPa was obtained at 160 W-200 mm/s.And this AlMgSiScZr alloy can still exhibit an excellent tensile strength of 393.9 MPa at a moderate temperature of 473 K.After the aging treatment,the tensile properties further increased due to the precipitate hardening of Mg2Si and Al3(Sc,Zr),and the maximum value(580 MPa)was reached at an aging time of 10 h.The average crystal size was almost unchanged after aging treated at 325℃and 24 h,indicating this AlMgSiScZr alloy has an improved thermal stability.The AlMgSiScZr alloy is recommended to substitute some particular titanium alloys in aerospace field afterwards. | Jiang Bi Zhenglong Lei Yanbin Chen Xi Chen Ze Tian Nannan Lu Xikun Qin Jingwei Liang | 2021 | Journal of Materials Science & Technology2021,,10: | 4 |
| 13 | Antibacterial activities against Porphyromonas gingivalis and biological characteristics of copper-bearing PEO coatings on magnesium显示文摘Unlike other parts of the body, jaw defection often involves dental and periodontal tissues, which colonized a great many oral anaerobic bacteria. As a remarkable degradable material, magnesium has become an excellent candidate for orthopedic appliances recently. But the high degradation rate is still a big problem. Making a biodegradable coating with good biocompatibility to slow down the degeneration rate of magnesium is one of the best methods. However, protective coatings will impair the antibacterial effects of magnesium which is caused by the rise of p H value throughout its degradation. To solve this problem, a series of composite coatings with different amounts of Cu O particles(3, 5 and 7 wt.%) were fabricated on pure magnesium through plasma electrolytic oxidation(PEO) to investigate in vitro biocompatibility and the antibacterial abilities against Porphyromonas gingivalis(P. gingivalis). Surface characterization and degradation behavior of the copper-bearing PEO coatings were also systematically studied. Furthermore,the most optimum coating was also systematically studied by X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy(XPS)and electrochemical corrosion test. Results of the present research revealed that adding proper amount of Cu O into PEO coatings could greatly improve the antibacterial abilities of the PEO coatings. The antibacterial activities of copper-bearing PEO coatings were excellent and revealed concentration-dependent and time-dependent. Biocompatibility of copper-bearing PEO coatings showed that proper amount of Cu could promote cell proliferation. Compared with other PEO coatings in this study, PEO-7 Cu showed some inhibition effects on cell proliferation and adhesion for long-term use. Electrochemical corrosion tests and immersion tests showed that PEO-5 Cu and PEO-7 Cu copper-bearing PEO coatings would provide satisfying corrosion resistance effects, while PEO-3 Cu was poorer than PEO coatings without Cu. However, compared with uncoated pure magnesium, the corrosion resistance of the PEO coating was much better. The density and viscosity of the mixtures were experimentally measured and the simulation results met well with the experimental ones. The simulation results showed that, with the addition of NO2^-, the ionic clusters tended to loose and the mobilities of all the ions tended to increase. The density, viscosity, and heat capacity decreased while the thermal conductivity increased with the increase of NO2^- concentration. | 18 | Microstructure Evolution and Mechanical Behavior of Laser Melting Deposited TA15 Alloy at 500℃ under In-Situ Tension in SEM显示文摘TA15 alloy fabricated by laser melting deposition was investigated at 500℃ under tensile deformation. The damage behavior of microstructure was analyzed by the real time observation of the microstructure evolution, microcracks initiation and propagation using in-situ tensile equipment fitted in the SEM chamber. Finally, the mechanism of fracture was discussed. The result showed anisotropic mechanical properties in X-and Z-direction. The existence of columnar β grains and its orientation to the tensile direction were the major factors inducing the anisotropic mechanical properties. As compared to Z-direction specimen, high tensile strength was observed in X-direction specimen due to the resistance in slips propagation provided by the prior-β grain boundaries( β GBs). Accumulation of the cracks at prior β GB caused the shear fracture. In case of Z-direction specimen, parallel orientation of prior β GB and GB α with the tensile direction resulted in a homogeneous deformation. | 19 | An additively manufactured Al-14.1Mg-0.47Si-0.31Sc-0.17Zr alloy with high specific strength,good thermal stability and excellent corrosion resistance显示文摘A novel Al-14.1 Mg-0.47 Si-0.31 Sc-0.17 Zr alloy was applied in the printing process of selective laser melting(SLM),and the corresponding microstructural feature,phase identification,tensile properties and corrosion behavior of the Al Mg Si Sc Zr alloy were studied in detail.As fabricated at 160 W and 200 mm/s,the Mg content of bulk sample decreased to 11.7 wt%due to the element vaporization at high energy density,and the density of this additively manufactured Al Mg Si Sc Zr alloy was 2.538 g/cm^(3),which is4.2%8.5%lighter than that of other SLM-processed Al alloys.After heat-treated(HT)at 325℃and 6 h,the microstructure was almost unchanged with an alternate distribution of fine equiaxed crystals and coarse columnar crystals.Nano-sized Al3(Sc,Zr)and Mg_(2)Si phases precipitated dispersedly in the Al matrix,and the tensile strength increased from 487.6 MPa to 578.4 MPa for precipitation strengthening and fine grain strengthening.With a fine grain size of 2.53μm,an excellent corrosion resistance was obtained for the as-printed(AP)Al Mg Si Sc Zr alloy.While the corrosion resistance of HT sample decreased slightly for the formation of non-dense oxide layer and pitting corrosion induced by diffuse precipitation distribution.This SLM-printed Al Mg Si Sc Zr alloy with high specific strength,good thermal stability and excellent corrosion resistance has broad prospects for the aerospace and automotive applications. | Jiang Bi Zhenglong Lei Yanbin Chen Xi Chen Nannan Lu Ze Tian Xikun Qin | 2021 | Journal of Materials Science & Technology2021,,8: | 2 |
| 20 | Robust UV/moisture dual curable PDMS-microcapsule-silica functional material for self-healing,antifouling,and antibacterial applications显示文摘Polydimethylsiloxane containing methacryloyloxy and methoxy silane groups(MAPDMS)-microcapsule-SiO_(2)(MPMS)functional materials were prepared by constructing micro-nano hierarchical structures on the surface of MAPDMS matrix.Herein,MAPDMS@1,1-stilbene-modified hydrolyzed polyglycidyl methacrylate/graphene oxide/dimethyloctadecyl[3-(trimethoxysilyl)propyl]ammonium chloride(MAPDMS@PGMA_(m)/GO/QC18)self-healing microcapsules with compact multi-shell structure were synthesized and combined with nano-SiO_(2)to construct the hierarchical structures.Furthermore,ultraviolet(UV)/moisture dual curing mode was introduced into deep curing reaction and efficient self-healing reaction of the MPMS.The results show that the introduction of UV/moisture dual curing mode and micro-nano hierarchical structure gives MPMS functional materials excellent mechanical properties,antifouling properties,self-healing properties,antibacterial properties.The shear strength and tensile strength of MPMS increase from 3.32 and 4.26 MPa of MAPDMS to 3.81 and 5.06 MPa,respectively.Its static contact angle increases from 115.9°of MAPDMS to 156.5°,its slide angle decreases from 68.5°of MAPDMS to 7.8°,respectively.The antifouling performance of MPMS against seawater,soy sauce,juice,coffee,protein,other contaminants is effectively improved compared with MAPDMS matrix.At the same time,the tensile strength and elongation at break of MPMS after healing reach 98.22%and 96.57%of those in original state,respectively.In addition,the antibacterial rates of MPMS against Escherichia coli and Staphylococcus aureus reach 99.85%and 100%,respectively.The MPMS prepared in this paper is expected to be widely used in marine antifouling,pipeline network,anti-icing,microfluidics,wearable devices,medical devices,electrochemical biosensors,other fields. | Nan Zheng Jie Liu Guoqing Wang Pan Yao Lihong Dang Ze Liu Jiufu Lu Wenge Li | 2023 | Nano Research2023,16,5: | 2 |
