2Use of packed-fiber solid-phase extraction for sample clean-up and preconcentration of vitamin B_(12) before determination显示文摘A rapid and simple preconcentration step applying packed-fiber solid-phase extraction columns has been investigated to vitamin B_(12).The extraction performance of the new method was investigated preliminarily on vitamin functional drink.The analysis used a reversed-phase C_(18) column,with a photo-diode array detector at 220 nm.The samples were preconcentrated with packed-fiber solid-phase extraction columns.Good linearity was observed in vitamin functional drink.The repeatability of extraction performance,expressed as relative standard deviations,was from 3.5%to 4.3%.The limit of detection(LOD) is 5 ng mL^(-1) (S/N = 3).Finally,the method had been applied for the determination of vitamin B_(12) in vitamin functional drink.Fang Fang Xue Jun Kang Zhi Yong Liu Yu Qin Ma Zhong Ze GU 2009Chinese Chemical Letters2009,20,12:5
3Significantly Enhanced Electromagnetic Interference Shielding Performances of Epoxy Nanocomposites with Long-Range Aligned Lamellar Structures显示文摘High-efficiency electromagnetic interference(EMI)shielding materials are of great importance for electronic equipment reliability,information security and human health.In this work,bidirectional aligned Ti_(3)C_(2)T_(x)@Fe_(3)O_(4)/CNF aerogels(BTFCA)were firstly assembled by bidirectional freezing and freeze-drying technique,and the BTFCA/epoxy nanocomposites with long-range aligned lamellar structures were then prepared by vacuum-assisted impregnation of epoxy resins.Benefitting from the successful construction of bidirectional aligned three-dimensional conductive networks and electromagnetic synergistic effect,when the mass fraction of Ti_(3)C_(2)T_(x) and Fe_(3)O_(4) are 2.96 and 1.48 wt%,BTFCA/epoxy nanocomposites show outstanding EMI shield-ing effectiveness of 79 dB,about 10 times of that of blended Ti_(3)C_(2)T_(x)@Fe_(3)O_(4)/epoxy(8 dB)nanocomposites with the same loadings of Ti_(3)C_(2)T_(x) and Fe_(3)O_(4).Meantime,the corresponding BTFCA/epoxy nanocomposites also present excellent thermal stability(T_(heat-resistance index) of 198.7℃)and mechanical properties(storage modulus of 9902.1 MPa,Young’s modulus of 4.51 GPa and hardness of 0.34 GPa).Our fabricated BTFCA/epoxy nanocomposites would greatly expand the applications of MXene and epoxy resins in the fields of information security,aerospace and weapon manufacturing,etc.Lei Wang Zhonglei Ma Hua Qiu Yali Zhang Ze Yu Junwei Gu 2022Nano-Micro Letters2022,14,12:4
4Variability of Soil Salinity at Multiple Spatio-Temporal Scales and the Related Driving Factors in the Oasis Areas of Xinjiang,China显示文摘Located in the inland arid area of central Asia, salt-affected farmlands take up one third of the total irrigated land area in Xinjiang of Northwest China. Spatio-temporal variability of soil salinity and the underlying mechanism are fundamental problems challenging the sustainability of oasis agriculture in China. In this study, the data of total dissolved solids(TDS) measured for soil samples collected from 27 representative study areas in the oasis areas of Xinjiang were analyzed and the coefficient of variation(CV) and stratification ratio(SR) of TDS were used to describe the lateral and vertical soil salinity variations, respectively. Weekly, monthly,and annual changes in soil salinity were also summarized. Results showed that the top(0–20 cm) soil salinity was highly variable(CV> 75%) for most studied areas. Lateral variation of soil salinity was significantly correlated with the sampling interval; as a result, a maximum sampling interval of 0.9 m was found for reducing evaluation uncertainty. The top 0–20 cm soil salt accounted for about25.2% of the total salt in the 0–100 cm soil profile. The stratification ratio values(the ratio of TDS at the 20–40 cm depth to that at the 0–20 cm depth) were mostly smaller than 1 and on average 0.92, illustrating that the top 0–20 cm soil contained slightly more salt and a considerable amount of salt still existed in subsurface and deep horizons. Irrigation reduced top soil salinity by 0.52 g kg-1, or14.6%, within the first week. On average, the relative range of soil salinity, calculated to indicate monthly changes in soil salinity, was58.2% from May to September. A 27-year experiment indicated that cultivation increased soil salinity by 44.4% at a rate of 0.14 g kg-1year-1. At small spatio-temporal scales, soil salinity variation was mainly affected by anthropogenic factors, such as irrigation and land use. However, natural factors, including groundwater, topography, and climate conditions, mainly influenced soil salinity variation at large spatio-temporal scales. This study displayed the highly variable nature of soil salinity in space and time. 11Information metasurfaces and intelligent metasurfaces显示文摘Metamaterials and metasurfaces have inspired worldwide interest in the recent two decades due to their extraordinary performance in controlling material parameters and electromagnetic properties.However,most studies on metamaterials and metasurfaces are focused on manipulations of electromagnetic fields and waves,because of their analog natures.The concepts of digital coding and programmable metasurfaces proposed in 2014 have opened a new perspective to characterize and design metasurfaces in a digital way,and made it possible to control electromagnetic fields/waves and process digital information simultaneously,yielding the birth of a new direction of information metasurfaces.On the other hand,artificial intelligence(AI)has become more important in automatic designs of metasurfaces.In this review paper,we first show the intrinsic natures and advantages of information metasurfaces,including information operations,programmable and real-time control capabilities,and space–time-coding strategies.Then we introduce the recent advances in designing metasurfaces using AI technologies,and particularly discuss the close combinations of information metasurfaces and AI to generate intelligent metasurfaces.We present self-adaptively smart metasurfaces,AI-based intelligent imagers,microwave cameras,and programmable AI machines based on optical neural networks.Finally,we indicate the challenges,applications,and future directions of information and intelligent metasurfaces.Qian Ma Che Liu Qiang Xiao Ze Gu Xinxin Gao Lianlin Li Tie Jun Cui 2022Photonics Insights2022,1,1:1

15High-performance self-organized Si nanocomposite anode for lithium-ion batteries显示文摘Silicon is being investigated extensively as an anodic material for next-generation lithium ion batteries for portable energy storage and electric vehicles.However,the large changes in volume during cycling lead to the breakdown of the conductive network in Si anodes and the formation of an unstable solid-electrolyte interface,resulting in capacity fading.Here,we demonstrate nanoparticles with a Si@Mn_(22.6)Si_(5.4)C_4@C double-shell structure and the formation of self-organized Si-Mn-C nanocomposite anodes during the lithiation/delithiation process.The anode consists of amorphous Si particles less than 10 nm in diameter and separated by an interconnected conductive/buffer network,which exhibits excellent charge transfer kinetics and charge/discharge performances.A stable specific capacity of 1100 mAh·g^(-1) at 100 mA·g^(-1) and a coulombic efficiency of 99.2%after 30 cycles are achieved.Additionally,a rate capacity of 343 mAh·g^(-1) and a coulombic efficiency of 99.4%at 12000 mA·g^(-1) are also attainable.Owing to its simplicity and applicability,this strategy for improving electrode performance paves a way for the development of high-performance Si-based anodic materials for lithium ion batteries.Xiuyun Zhao Dingguo Xia Lin Gu Juncheng Yue Biao Li Hang Wei Huijun Yan Ruqiang Zou Yingxia Wang Xiayan Wang Ze Zhang Jixue Li 2014Journal of Energy Chemistry2014,23,3:1

19A novel algorithm for transmission image reconstruction of tomographic gamma scaners显示文摘It is difficult to develop image reconstruction algorithms for tomographic gamma scanning based on drummed radioactive residues or wastes.In this paper,a novel reconstruction algorithm of transmission image for tomographic gamma scanning is proposed.It is based on the conventional transmission equation and equivalent gamma-ray track length modified by a Monte Carlo method.The algorithm is implemented by simulating the samples on the established platform.For the verification experiments of the algorithm,several cubic voxel samples were designed and manufactured.Experimental tests were conducted.The tomographic gamma scanning of transmission images is compared with the linear attenuation coefficients by the simulated values and experimental data with the algorithm and the reference values.The results show that the absolute relative errors of the reconstructed images are less than 5%.ZHANG Quanhu HUI Weihua WANG Dong HE Bin GU Zhongmao LI Ze QIAN Shaojun 2010Nuclear Science and Techniques2010,21,3:1
20Directly wireless communication of human minds via non-invasive brain-computer-metasurface platform显示文摘Brain-computer interfaces(BCIs),invasive or non-invasive,have projected unparalleled vision and promise for assisting patients in need to better their interaction with the surroundings.Inspired by the BCI-based rehabilitation technologies for nerve-system impairments and amputation,we propose an electromagnetic brain-computer-metasurface(EBCM)paradigm,regulated by human’s cognition by brain signals directly and non-invasively.We experimentally show that our EBCM platform can translate human’s mind from evoked potentials of P300-based electroencephalography to digital coding information in the electromagnetic domain non-invasively,which can be further processed and transported by an information metasurface in automated and wireless fashions.Directly wireless communications of the human minds are performed between two EBCM operators with accurate text transmissions.Moreover,several other proof-of-concept mind-control schemes are presented using the same EBCM platform,exhibiting flexibly-customized capabilities of information processing and synthesis like visual-beam scanning,wave modulations,and pattern encoding.Qian Ma Wei Gao Qiang Xiao Lingsong Ding Tianyi Gao Yajun Zhou Xinxin Gao Tao Yan Che Liu Ze Gu Xianghong Kong Qammer HAbbasi Lianlin Li Cheng‑Wei Qiu Yuanqing Li Tie Jun Cui 2022eLight2022,2,1:1
