1Carbon carry capacity and carbon sequestration potential in China based on an integrated analysis of mature forest biomass显示文摘Forests play an important role in acting as a carbon sink of terrestrial ecosystem.Although global forests have huge carbon carrying capacity(CCC)and carbon sequestration potential(CSP),there were few quantification reports on Chinese forests.We collected and compiled a forest biomass dataset of China,a total of 5841 sites,based on forest inventory and literature search results.From the dataset we extracted 338 sites with forests aged over 80 years,a threshold for defining mature forest,to establish the mature forest biomass dataset.After analyzing the spatial pattern of the carbon density of Chinese mature forests and its controlling factors,we used carbon density of mature forests as the reference level,and conservatively estimated the CCC of the forests in China by interpolation methods of Regression Kriging,Inverse Distance Weighted and Partial Thin Plate Smoothing Spline.Combining with the sixth National Forest Resources Inventory,we also estimated the forest CSP.The results revealed positive relationships between carbon density of mature forests and temperature,precipitation and stand age,and the horizontal and elevational patterns of carbon density of mature forests can be well predicted by temperature and precipitation.The total CCC and CSP of the existing forests are 19.87 and 13.86 Pg C,respectively.Subtropical forests would have more CCC and CSP than other biomes.Consequently,relying on forests to uptake carbon by decreasing disturbance on forests would be an alternative approach for mitigating greenhouse gas concentration effects besides afforestation and reforestation.LIU Ying Chun YU Gui Rui WANG Qiu Feng ZHANG Yang Jian XU Ze Hong 2014Science China(Life Sciences)2014,57,12:15
2How Work Organization Affects the Prevalence of WMSDs: A Case-control Study显示文摘Objective In this study, we aimed at exploring the association between work-related musculoskeletal disorders(WMSDs) and work organization based on a case-control study. Methods A total of 1938 workers who claimed to suffer from WMSDs were selected from Beijing, Henan, Hubei, and the Guangdong province. The control group consisted of 2009 workers employed in similar industries without severe disease or musculoskeletal discomforts. We used a modified version of the questionnaire developed by the NMQ and the DMQ to investigate individual and work-related factors. Results A total of 13 variables(P<0.1) were selected by the chi-square test and finally, 7 variables entered into the equation, with 6 variables reaching statistical significance(P<0.05). The odds ratios(OR) of ‘work changing with season' and ‘sufficient rest time' did not reach 1(0.749 and 0.441, respectively). In addition, ‘sufficient rest time' seemed to be the stronger protective factor according to its higher standardized coefficient. And ‘repetitive work every minute', ‘constantly repetitive work'(every day), ‘shortage of site personnel', and ‘often switching shifts with others' seemed to be the risk factors. Conclusion Work organization may have comprehensive effects on the occurrence of WMSDs. 6Effect of SiO_2/Na_2O mole ratio on the properties of foam geopolymers fabricated from circulating fluidized bed fly ash显示文摘Geopolymers are three-dimensional aluminosilicates formed in a short time at low temperature by geopolymerization. In this paper, alkali-activated foam geopolymers were fabricated from circulating fluidized bed fly ash(CFA), and the effect of SiO2/Na2O mole ratio(0.91–1.68) on their properties was studied. Geopolymerization products were characterized by mechanical testing, scanning electron microscopy(SEM), energy-dispersive X-ray spectroscopy(EDX), and X-ray diffraction(XRD). The results show that SiO2/Na2O mole ratio plays an important role in the mechanical and morphological characteristics of geopolymers. Foam samples prepared in 28 d with a SiO2/Na2O mole ratio of 1.42 exhibit the greatest compressive strength of 2.52 MPa. Morphological analysis reveals that these foam geopolymers appear the relatively optimized pore structure and distribution, which are beneficial to the structure stability. 8Simulation of coal char gasification using O_(2)/CO_(2)显示文摘The authors proposed an integrated gasification fuel cell zero-emission system.The coal char gasification is discussed using high temperature and concentration of CO_(2) produced by solid oxide fuel cells and oxy-fuel combustion.The gasification is simulated by Aspen plus based on Gibbs free energy minimization method.Gasification model of pulverized coal char is computed and analyzed.Effects of gas flow rate,pressure,preheating temperature,heat losses on syngas composition,reaction temperature,lower heating value and carbon conversion are studied.Results and parameters are determined as following.The optimum O_(2) flow rate is 20 kg/h.The reaction temperature decreases from 1645 to 1329℃when the CO_(2)flow rate increases from 0 to 5 kg/h,the CO_(2) flow rate should be operated reasonably;lower heating value reduces and reaction temperature increases as the pressure increases;compared to the CO_(2) preheating,O_(2) preheating has greater influence on reaction temperature and lower heating value.Haibin Li Yu Yu Minfang Han Ze Lei 2014International Journal of Coal Science & Technology2014,1,1:7
9Efficient and stable planar all-inorganic perovskite solar cells based on high-quality CsPbBr3 films with controllable morphology显示文摘All-inorganic cesium lead bromide(CsPbBr3)perovskite is attracting growing interest as functional materials in photovoltaics and other optoelectronic devices due to its superb stability.However,the fabrication of high-quality CsPbBr3 films still remains a big challenge by solution-process because of the low solubility of the cesium precursor in common solvents.Herein,we report a facile solution-processed approach to prepare high-quality CsPbBr3 perovskite films via a two-step spin-coating method,in which the Cs Br methanol/H2 O mixed solvent solution is spin-coated onto the lead bromide films,followed by an isopropanol-assisted post-treatment to regulate the crystallization process and to control the film morphology.In this fashion,dense and uniform CsPbBr3 films are obtained consisting of large crystalline domains with sizes up to microns and low defect density.The effectiveness of the resulting CsPbBr3 films is further examined in perovskite solar cells(PSCs)with a simplified planar architecture of fluorine–doped tin oxide/compact Ti O2/CsPbBr3/carbon,which deliver a maximum power conversion efficiency of 8.11%together with excellent thermal and humidity stability.The present work offers a simple and effective strategy in fabrication of high-quality CsPbBr3 films for efficient and stable PSCs as well as other optoelectronic devices.Xiaojing Wan Ze Yu Wenming Tian Fuzhi Huang Shengye Jin Xichuan Yang Yi-Bing Cheng Anders Hagfeldt Licheng Sun 2020Journal of Energy Chemistry2020,29,7:6
10Phylogeny and evolutionary history of the silkworm显示文摘The silkworm,Bombyx mori,played an important role in the old Silk Road that connected ancient Asia and Europe.However,to date,there have been few studies of the origins and domestication of this species using molecular methods.In this study,DNA sequences of mitochondrial and nuclear loci were used to infer the phylogeny and evolutionary history of the domesticated silkworm and its relatives.All of the phylogenetic analyses indicated a close relationship between the domesticated silkworm and the Chinese wild silkworm.Domestication was estimated to have occurred about 4100 years ago(ya),and the radiation of the different geographic strains of B.mori about 2000 ya.The Chinese wild silkworm and the Japanese wild silkworm split about 23600 ya.These estimates are in good agreement with the fossil evidence and historical records.In addition,we show that the domesticated silkworm experienced a population expansion around 1000 ya.The divergence times and the population dynamics of silkworms presented in this study will be useful for studies of lepidopteran phylogenetics,in the genetic analysis of domestic animals,and for understanding the spread of human civilizations.SUN Wei YU HongSong SHEN YiHong BANNO Yutaka XIANG ZhongHuai ZHANG Ze 2012Science China(Life Sciences)2012,55,6:6

14Comparison of the Stress Corrosion Cracking Behaviour of AISI 304 Pipes Welded by TIG and LBW显示文摘The stress corrosion cracking(SCC)behaviour of AISI 304 pipe girth welds which were welded by a single-pass laser beam welding(LBW)and a multi-pass tungsten inert gas welding(TIG),respectively,was studied by the slow strain rate tests combined with the electrochemical corrosion tests.The results show that fracture of both the TIG joint and LBW joint occurs in the heat-affected zone(HAZ).According to the electron-backscattered diffraction observation of the micro structures,comparison of potentiodynamic polarization curves and X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy analysis of corrosion products on HAZs of the two joints after the electrochemical tests,the LBW joint exhibits better SCC resistance than the TIG joint in corrosion environments,due to the synthetic effect of more Cr_(2)O_(3) in corrosion products,finer grains,lower residual strain and higher δ-ferrite content in its HAZ.Although the TIG joint has better mechanical property,considering lower SCC susceptibility and higher production efficiency of the LBW joint,the LBW promisingly replaces the TIG for welding of AISI304 pipes in the nuclear power industry.Ji-Jin Xu Shuai Wang Ze Chai Chun Yu Jun-Mei Chen Hao Lu 2021Acta Metallurgica Sinica(English Letters)2021,34,4:5

17Porphyromonas gingivalis exacerbates ulcerative colitis via Porphyromonas gingivalis peptidylarginine deiminase显示文摘Abstract:Ulcerative Colitis(UC)has been reported to be related to Porphyromonas gingivalis(P.gingivalis).Porphyromonas gingivalis peptidylarginine deiminase(PPAD),a virulence factor released by P.gingivalis,is known to induce inflammatory responses.To explore the pathological relationships between PPAD and UC,we used homologous recombination technology to construct a P.gingivalis strain in which the PPAD gene was deleted(Δppad)and aΔppad strain in which the PPAD gene was restored(comΔppad).C57 BL/6 mice were orally gavaged with saline,P.gingivalis,Δppad,or comΔppad twice a week for the entire 40 days(days 0-40),and then,UC was induced by dextran sodium sulfate(DSS)solution for 10 days(days 31-40).P.gingivalis and comΔppad exacerbated DDS-induced colitis,which was determined by assessing the parameters of colon length,disease activity index,and histological activity index,butΔppad failed to exacerbate DDS-induced colitis.Flow cytometry and ELISA revealed that compared withΔppad,P.gingivalis,and comΔppad increased T helper 17(Th17)cell numbers and interleukin(IL)-17 production but decreased regulatory T cells(Tregs)numbers and IL-10 production in the spleens of mice with UC.We also cocultured P.gingivalis,Δppad,or comΔppad with T lymphocytes in vitro and found that P.gingivalis and comΔppad significantly increased Th17 cell numbers and decreased Treg cell numbers.Immunofluorescence staining of colon tissue paraffin sections also confirmed these results.The results suggested that P.gingivalis exacerbated the severity of UC in part via PPAD.Xida Zhao Jingbo Liu Chong Zhang Ning Yu Ze Lu Shuwei Zhang Yuchao Li Qian Li Junchao Liu Dongjuan Liu Yaping Pan 2021International Journal of Oral Science2021,13,3:5
18Significantly Enhanced Electromagnetic Interference Shielding Performances of Epoxy Nanocomposites with Long-Range Aligned Lamellar Structures显示文摘High-efficiency electromagnetic interference(EMI)shielding materials are of great importance for electronic equipment reliability,information security and human health.In this work,bidirectional aligned Ti_(3)C_(2)T_(x)@Fe_(3)O_(4)/CNF aerogels(BTFCA)were firstly assembled by bidirectional freezing and freeze-drying technique,and the BTFCA/epoxy nanocomposites with long-range aligned lamellar structures were then prepared by vacuum-assisted impregnation of epoxy resins.Benefitting from the successful construction of bidirectional aligned three-dimensional conductive networks and electromagnetic synergistic effect,when the mass fraction of Ti_(3)C_(2)T_(x) and Fe_(3)O_(4) are 2.96 and 1.48 wt%,BTFCA/epoxy nanocomposites show outstanding EMI shield-ing effectiveness of 79 dB,about 10 times of that of blended Ti_(3)C_(2)T_(x)@Fe_(3)O_(4)/epoxy(8 dB)nanocomposites with the same loadings of Ti_(3)C_(2)T_(x) and Fe_(3)O_(4).Meantime,the corresponding BTFCA/epoxy nanocomposites also present excellent thermal stability(T_(heat-resistance index) of 198.7℃)and mechanical properties(storage modulus of 9902.1 MPa,Young’s modulus of 4.51 GPa and hardness of 0.34 GPa).Our fabricated BTFCA/epoxy nanocomposites would greatly expand the applications of MXene and epoxy resins in the fields of information security,aerospace and weapon manufacturing,etc.Lei Wang Zhonglei Ma Hua Qiu Yali Zhang Ze Yu Junwei Gu 2022Nano-Micro Letters2022,14,12:4
