1mm Wave communications for 5G: implementation challenges and advances显示文摘The requirement of the fifth generation(5 G) wireless communication for high throughput motivates the wireless industry to use the mm Wave(millimeter wave) communications for its wide bandwidth advantage. To compensate the heavy path loss and increase the communications capacity, phased array beamforming and massive multiple-input multiple-output(MIMO) techniques are employed at both the user equipment(UE) and base stations(BS). Considering the commercial requirements, 5 G mm Wave large array systems should be implemented in an energy-and cost-efficient way with a small form factor. To address above issues and realize a reliable communications link, taking into account the particular characteristics of5 G mm Wave systems, this paper firstly examines the design challenges and trade-offs in system implementations, then some of the design strategies are summarized. 216S rRNA is a better choice than COI for DNA barcoding hydrozoans in the coastal waters of China显示文摘Identification of hydrozoan species is challenging, even for taxonomic experts, due to the scarcity of distinct morphological characters and phenotypic plasticity. DNA barcoding provides an efficient method for species identification, however, the choice between mitochondrial cytochrome c oxidase subunit I(COI) and large subunit ribosomal RNA gene(16S) as a standard barcode for hydrozoans is subject to debate. Herein, we directly compared the barcode potential of COI and 16S in hydrozoans using 339 sequences from 47 pelagic hydrozoan species. Analysis of Kimura 2-parameter genetic distances(K2P) documented the mean intraspecific/interspecific variation for COI and 16S to be 0.004/0.204 and 0.003/0.223, respectively. An obvious 'barcoding gap' was detected for all species in both markers and all individuals of a species clustered together in both the COI and 16S trees. These results suggested that the species within the studied taxa can be efficiently and accurately identified by COI and 16S. Furthermore, our results confirmed that 16S was a better phylogenetic marker for hydrozoans at the genus level, and in some cases at the family level. 3Traditional Chinese Medicine syndrome-related herbal prescriptions in treatment of malignant tumors显示文摘OBJECTIVE: To investigate the distribution characteristics of TCM syndromes and the related herbal prescriptions for malignant tumors (MT). METHODS: A clinical database of the TCM syndromes and the herbal prescriptions in treatment of 136 MT patients were established. The data were then analyzed using cluster and frequency analysis. RESULTS: According to the cluster analysis, the TCM syndromes in MT patients mainly included two patterns: deficiency of both Qi and Yin and internal accumulation of toxic heat. The commonly-prescribed herbs were Huangqi (Astraglus), Nüzhen-zi (Fructus Ligustri Lucidi), Lingzhi (Ganoderma Lucidum), Huaishan (Dioscorea Opposita), Xiakucao (Prunella Vulgaris), and Baihuasheshecao (Herba Hedyotidis). CONCLUSION: Deficiency of Qi and Yin is the primary syndrome of MT, and internal accumulation of toxic heat is the secondary syndrome. 4Composition and ecological distribution of ichthyoplankton in eastern Beibu Gulf显示文摘Surveys were conducted in four seasons in the eastern Beibu Gulf from July 2006 to November 2007,to determine the ichthyoplankton composition,abundance,as well as environmental factors impacted on their spatiotemporal distributions.The fish eggs and larvae were sorted from 303 zooplankton quantitative samples,in which at least 1 order,60 families,31 genera and 61 species of fish eggs and larvae were identified.The species number was highest in summer whereas lowest in winter.With the most abundant fish egg (the average density was 2.41 ind./m 3),spring was the main spawning season,while the greatest mean density of fish larva was 1.35 ind./m 3 in summer.In the whole year around,fish eggs had the trends to aggregate in the nearshore of Guangxi coast,fish larvae were more abundant in the northern water.Relationships between fish eggs and larvae abundance and environmental factors were analyzed by using the Yield-Density model.The spatiotemporal distribution of ichthyoplankton in eastern Beibu Gulf was closely related to the Chl a concentration,and the optimal temperature,salinity and Chl a were 19.4-21.7 C,31.8-33.1 and 1.5-4.8 mg/m 3,respectively.Additionally,the distribution of fish larvae could be effected by ocean currents in summer and autumn.ZHOU Meiyu LIN Yuanshao YANG Shengyun CAO Wenqing ZHENG Lianming 2011Acta Oceanologica Sinica2011,30,1:3
5A New Index Developed for Fast Diagnosis of Meteorological Roles in Ground-Level Ozone Variations显示文摘China experienced worsening ground-level ozone(O_(2)) pollution from 2013 to 2019. In this study, meteorological parameters, including surface temperature(T_(2)), solar radiation(SW), and wind speed(WS), were classified into two aspects,(1) Photochemical Reaction Condition(PRC = T_(2)× SW) and(2) Physical Dispersion Capacity(PDC = WS). In this way, a Meteorology Synthetic Index(MSI = PRC/PDC) was developed for the quantification of meteorology-induced ground-level O_(2)pollution. The positive linear relationship between the 90 th percentile of MDA8(maximum daily 8-h average) O_(2)concentration and MSI determined that the contribution of meteorological changes to ground-level O-3 varied on a latitudinal gradient, decreasing from ~40% in southern China to 10%–20% in northern China. Favorable photochemical reaction conditions were more important for ground-level O_(2)pollution. 6Aequorea taiwanensis n. sp. (Hydrozoa,Leptomedusae) and mtCOI sequence analysis for the genus Aequorea显示文摘Aequorea taiwanensis,a new hydrozoan species from the Taiwan Strait was described using morphological and molecular characteristics.Both morphological and mitochondrial cytochrome oxidase subunit I(mtCOI) data supported A.taiwanensis n.sp.as a valid species.Sequence divergence and genetic distance of A.taiwanensis n.sp.,A.papillata and A.conica were analysed based on the mtCOI gene sequences.The mtCOI sequences from these three species of the genus Aequorea showed high variation frequency,with sequence divergences ranging from 9.10% to 11.9%,and pairwise genetic distances ranging from 0.097 to 0.130.MtCOI sequence analysis provided diagnostic molecular systematic characteristics for accurate identification and discrimination of the species of Aequorea or their populations,and will be used to resolve evolutionary relationships among them.It was suggested that 10%-20% pairwise mtCOI sequence differences indicated the species-level divergence among congeneric species in the Hydromedusae.ZHENG Lianming LIN Yuanshao LI Shaojing CAO Wenqing XU Zhenzu HUANG Jiaqi 2009Acta Oceanologica Sinica2009,28,1:2

8Ultrafast growth of wafer-scale fold-free bilayer graphene显示文摘Bilayer graphene provides a versatile platform for exploring a variety of intriguing phenomena and shows much promise for applications in electronics,optoelectronics,etc.Controlled growth of large-area bilayer graphene is therefore highly desired yet still suffers from a slow growth rate and poor layer uniformity.Meanwhile,graphene wrinkles,including folds and ripples,form during cooling due to the thermal contraction mismatch between graphene and the metal substrates,and have been far from suppressed or eliminated,especially in bilayer graphene,which would greatly degrade the extraordinary properties of graphene.Here we report the ultrafast growth of wafer-scale fold-free bilayer graphene by chemical vapor deposition.Through well-tuning the alloy thickness and strain regulation of the single-crystal CuNi(111)/sapphire,the full coverage of a 2-inch fold-free bilayer graphene wafer via mainly isothermal segregation has been achieved as fast as 30 s.The tensile-strained CuNi(111)film reduces the thermal contraction mismatch and suppresses the formation of graphene folds during cooling,which is directly observed through in situ optical microscopy.The ultraflat bilayer graphene exhibits wafer-scale uniformity in electrical performance and enhanced mechanical property comparable to the exfoliated ones.Our results offer a promising route for largescale production of bilayer graphene and enable its various applications.Jilin Tang Yuechen Wang Yuwei Ma Xiaoyin Gao Xin Gao Ning Li Yani Wang Shishu Zhang Liming Zheng Bing Deng Rui Yan Yisen Cao Ronghua Zhang Lianming Tong Jin Zhang Peng Gao Zhongfan Liu Xiaoding Wei Hongtao Liu Hailin Peng 2023Nano Research2023,16,7:0
9Abnormal intensity and polarization of Raman scattered light at edges of layered MoS_(2)显示文摘The edges of two-dimensional(2D)materials can exhibit special structure and thus distinctive properties differing from the interior,such as the modified photoluminescence emission,the improved electrocatalytic activity,and the enhanced nonlinear optical response.In this work,we report the observation of abrupt enhancement of Raman scattered light at edges of layered MoS_(2),which is closely related to the polarization of the incident light.More importantly,the intensity of out-of-plane A1g mode is enhanced much more obviously than the in-plane E_(2g)^(1)mode.The unique optical effect at edges is also reflected on the alteration of Raman selection rule.The forbidden Raman modes are observed at edge region,and the polarization of Raman scattered light can be modulated by the edge structure,which differs obviously from that of the interior.We attribute these particular performances to the modulation of the intensity and distribution of the electric field for the incident and Raman scattered light at the edge.This work provides a systematic research on the intensity and polarization modulation of the Raman scattering at edges,which would be helpful for understanding the distinctive optical properties of the edge structure.Yan Zhao Liheng Zheng Shiyi Han Bo Xu Zheyu Fang Jin Zhang Lianming Tong 2022Nano Research2022,15,7:0
10ABI5–FLZ13 module transcriptionally represses growth-related genes to delay seed germination in response to ABA显示文摘The bZIP transcription factor ABSCISIC ACID INSENSITIVE5(ABI5)is a master regulator of seed germination and post-germinative growth in response to abscisic acid(ABA),but the detailed molecularmechanism by which it represses plant growth remains unclear.In this study,we used proximity labeling to map the neighboring proteome of ABI5 and identified FCS-LIKE ZINC FINGER PROTEIN 13(FLZ13)as a novel ABI5 interaction partner.Phenotypic analysis of flz13 mutants and FLZ13-overexpressing lines demonstrated that FLZ13 acts as a positive regulator of ABA signaling.Transcriptomic analysis revealed that both FLZ13 and ABI5 downregulate the expression of ABA-repressed and growth-related genes involved in chlorophyll biosynthesis,photosynthesis,and cell wall organization,thereby repressing seed germination and seedling establishment in response to ABA.Further genetic analysis showed that FLZ13 and ABI5 function together to regulate seed germination.Collectively,our findings reveal a previously uncharacterized transcriptional regulatorymechanismby which ABA mediates inhibition of seed germination and seedling establishment.Chao Yang Xibao Li Shunquan Chen Chuanliang Liu Lianming Yang Kailin Li Jun Liao Xuanang Zheng Hongbo Li Yongqing Li Shaohua Zeng Xiaohong Zhuang Pedro L.Rodriguez Ming Luo Ying Wang Caiji Gao 2023Plant Communications2023,4,6:0
