1Cloning of a gene-edited macaque monkey by somatic cell nuclear transfer显示文摘Cloning of macaque monkeys by somatic cell nucleus transfer(SCNT) allows the generation of monkeys with uniform genetic backgrounds that are useful for the development of non-human primate models of human diseases. Here, we report the feasibility of this approach by SCNT of fibroblasts from a macaque monkey(Macaca fascicularis), in which a core circadian transcription factor BMAL1 was knocked out by clustered regularly interspaced short palindromic repeat/Cas9 gene editing(see accompanying paper).Out of 325 SCNT embryos transferred into 65 surrogate monkeys, we cloned five macaque monkeys with BMAL1 mutations in both alleles without mosaicism, with nuclear genes identical to that of the fibroblast donor monkey. Further peripheral blood m RNA analysis confirmed the complete absence of the wild-type BMAL1 transcript. 2No expenditure difference among patients with liver cancer at stageⅠ-ⅣV:Findings from a multicenter cross-sectional study in China显示文摘Objective:The number of liver cancer patients in China accounts for more than half of the world.However,China currently lacks national,multicenter economic burden data,and meanwhile,measuring the differences among different subgroups will be informative to formulate corresponding policies in liver cancer control.Thus,the aim of the study was to measure the economic burden of liver cancer by various subgroups.Methods:A hospital-based,multicenter and cross-sectional survey was conducted during 2012・2014,covering 39 hospitals and 21 project sites in 13 provinces across China.The questionnaire covers clinical information,sociology,expenditure,and related variables.All expenditure data were reported in Chinese Yuan(CNY)using 2014 values.Results:A total of 2,223 liver cancer patients were enrolled,of whom 59.61%were late-stage cases(III-IV),and 53.8%were hepatocellular carcinoma.The average total expenditure per liver cancer patient was estimated as 53,220 CNY,including 48,612 CNY of medical expenditures(91.3%)and 4,608 CNY of non-medical expenditures(8.7%).The average total expenditures in stage I,H,m and stage IV were 52,817 CNY,50,877 CNY,50,678 CNY and 54,089 CNY(P>0.05),respectively.Non-medical expenditures including additional meals,additional nutrition care,transportation,accommodation and hired informal nursing were 1,453 CNY,839 CNY,946 CNY,679 CNY and 200 CNY,respectively.The one-year out-of-pocket expenditure of a newly diagnosed patient was 24,953 CNY,and 77.2%of the patients suffered an unmanageable financial burden.Multivariate analysis showed that overall expenditure differed in almost all subgroups(P<0.05),except for sex,clinical stage,and pathologic type.Conclusions:There was no difference in treatment expenditure for liver cancer patients at different clinical stages,which suggests that maintaining efforts on treatment efficacy improvement is important but not enough.To fiirtherly reduce the overall economic burden from liver cancer,more effort should be given to primary and secondary prevention strategies.Haike Lei Lin Lei Jufang Shi Yongzhong Wu Ling Liang Huiyao Huang Mei He Fangzhou Bai Maomao Cao Hui Qiu Yuting Wang Chengcheng Liu Jia Du Hong Wang Yan Zhang Mengdi Cao Ji Peng Ni Li Chunfeng Qu Min Dai Wanqing Chen Jie He 2020Chinese Journal of Cancer Research2020,32,4:7
3Aeroelastic optimization design for wing with maneuver load uncertainties显示文摘An aeroelastic optimization design methodology for air vehicle considering the uncertainties in maneuver load conditions is presented and applied to a structural design process of low-aspect-ratio wing. An aerodynamic load correction model is developed and used to predict the critical load conditions with the perturbations of theoretical linear aerodynamic forces and experimental aerodynamic forces from wind-tunnel test, when concerning the uncertainties in use of theoretical linear and experimental aerodynamic forces. Three objective functions of critical loads are defined. The load evaluations for three wing sections are investigated in four characteristic maneuvers, and the most critical load conditions are confirmed by using the sequential quadratic programming method. On this basis, the aeroelastic optimization design employing the genetic-gradient hybrid algorithm is conducted, in which the objective is to minimize structural mass subject to the constraints of stress, deformation and flutter speed. The resulting optimal structure is heavier than the one simply based on the theoretical linear or experimental aerodynamic forces. 4Nitrogen and Phosphorus Dual-Doped Multilayer Graphene as Universal Anode for Full Carbon-Based Lithium and Potassium Ion Capacitors显示文摘Lithium/potassium ion capacitors(LICs/PICs) have been proposed to bridge the performance gap between high-energy batteries and high-power capacitors.However,their development is hindered by the choice,electrochemical performance,and preparation technique of the battery-type anode materials.Herein,a nitrogen and phosphorus dual-doped multilayer graphene(NPG) material is designed and synthesized through an arc discharge process,using low-cost graphite and solid nitrogen and phosphorus sources.When employed as the anode material,NPG exhibits high capacity,remarkable rate capability,and stable cycling performance in both lithium and potassium ion batteries.This excellent electrochemical performance is ascribed to the synergistic effect of nitrogen and phosphorus doping,which enhances the electrochemical conductivity,provides a higher number of ion storage sites,and leads to increased interlayer spacing.Full carbon-based NPG‖LiPF6‖active carbon(AC) LICs and NPG‖KPF6‖AC PICs are assembled and show excellent electrochemical performance,with competitive energy and power densities.This work provides a route for the large-scale production of dual-doped graphene as a universal anode material for high-performance alkali ion batteries and capacitors.Yuting Luan Rong Hu Yongzheng Fang Kai Zhu Kui Cheng Jun Yan Ke Ye Guiling Wang Dianxue Cao 2019Nano-Micro Letters2019,11,2:6

6Recent Advances on MOF Derivatives for Non-Noble Metal Oxygen Electrocatalysts in Zinc-Air Batteries显示文摘Oxygen electrocatalysts are of great importance for the air electrode in zinc-air batteries(ZABs).Owing to the high specific surface area,controllable pore size and unsaturated metal active sites,metal-organic frameworks(MOFs)derivatives have been widely studied as oxygen electrocatalysts in ZABs.To date,many strategies have been developed to generate efficient oxygen electrocatalysts from MOFs for improving the performance of ZABs.In this review,the latest progress of the MOF-derived non-noble metal-oxygen electrocatalysts in ZABs is reviewed.The performance of these MOF-derived catalysts toward oxygen reduction,and oxygen evolution reactions is discussed based on the categories of metal-free carbon materials,single-atom catalysts,metal cluster/carbon composites and metal compound/carbon composites.Moreover,we provide a comprehensive overview on the design strategies of various MOF-derived non-noble metal-oxygen electrocatalysts and their structure-performance relationship.Finally,the challenges and perspectives are provided for further advancing the MOF-derived oxygen electrocatalysts in ZABs.Yuting Zhu Kaihang Yue Chenfeng Xia Shahid Zaman Huan Yang Xianying Wang Ya Yan Bao Yu Xia 2021Nano-Micro Letters2021,13,9:5

8Enhanced Heat Transfer of Carbon Nanotube Nanofluid Microchannels Applied on Cooling Gallium Arsenide Cell显示文摘Carbon nanotube nanofluids have wide application prospects due to their unique structure and excellent properties.In this study,the thermal conductivity properties of carbon nanotube nanofluids and SiO2/water nanofluids were compared and analyzed experimentally using different preparation methods.The physical properties of nanofluids were tested using a Malvern Zetasizer Nano Instrument and a Hot Disk Thermal Constant Analyzer.Combined with field synergy theory analysis of the heat transfer performance of nanofluids,results show that the thermal conductivity of carbon nanotube nanofluids is higher than that of SiO2/water nanofluids,and the thermal conductivity of nanofluid rises with the increase of mass fraction and temperature.Moreover,the synergistic performance of carbon nanotube nanofluids is also superior to that of SiO2/water nanofluids.When the mass fraction of the carbon nanotube nanofluids is 10%and the SiO2/water nanofluids is 8%,their field synergy numbers and heat transfer enhancement factors both reach maximum.From the perspective of the preparation method,the thermal conductivity of nanofluids dispersed by high shear microfluidizer is higher than that by ultrasonic dispersion.This result provides some reference for the selection and use of working substance in a microchannel cooling concentrated photovoltaic and thermal(CPV/T)system.ZHANG Huiying YAN Suying WANG Tao WU Yuting ZHAO Xiaoyan ZHAO Ning 2020Journal of Thermal Science2020,29,6:3
9Porous hybrid scaffold strategy for the realization of lightweight,highly efficient microwave absorbing materials显示文摘Exploring an advanced and efficient electromagnetic(EM) wave absorbing material by improving dielectric loss capacity and adjusting impendence matching is crucial yet challenging. Herein, the bacterial cellulose(BC) derived carbon aerogel(CA) with a robust nanofibrous network was used as a conductive loss scaffold to dissipate EM waves effectively, and the Zn O microparticles with excellent dielectric properties and low electrical conductivity were decorated on the scaffold to adjust dielectric parameters and impedance matching adequately. By using different zinc precursors, the tunable size and morphologies of Zn O crystals were obtained due to the growth rate of different crystallographic, including flowerlike, nanorod like, and cauliflower-like morphologies, which is beneficial to strong multiple reflections,intensive interfacial polarization, better impendence matching, as well as excellent maintenance of the hierarchical structure. Owing to the appropriate impendence matching and the considerable EM wave dissipation, the CA@ZnO composites achieve a superior EM absorbing performance with a broad effective absorbing bandwidth(whole X band) and a minimum reflection coefficient(-53.3 d B). 12Immobilization of heparin on decellularized kidney scaffold to construct microenvironment for antithrombosis and inducing reendothelialization显示文摘In recent years, rapid development of tissue engineering technology provides possibilities for the construction of artificial tissues or organs. In construction of engineered kidneys, researchers used native decellularized extracellular matrix(ECM) as the scaffolds to recellularization. However, thrombosis has been a great issue that hinders the progress of transplantation in vivo. In this study, heparin was immobilized to the collagen part of decellularized scaffold with collagen-binding peptide(CBP). Through the anticoagulant and endothelial cell reperfusion experiments, it can be demonstrated that the heparinized scaffolds absorbed less platelets and red blood cells which can effectively reduce the formation of thrombosis. Moreover, it is conducive to longterm adhesion of endothelial cells which is important for the formation of subsequent vascularization. 15Efficacy of needling Baihui(GV20),Neiguan(PC6),Shenmen(HT7) and Taichong(LR3) on cerebral cortical blood oxygen level in rats with insomnia显示文摘OBJECTIVE:To evaluate the effect of needling Baihui(GV20),Neiguan(PC6),Shenmen(HT7) and Taichong(LR3) on cerebral cortical blood oxygen level in rats with insomnia identified as liver-Qi stagnation pattern in terms of Traditional Chinese Medicine.METHODS:Sixty Wistar rats were randomly divided into blank group(n = 10),the rest of the rats were clamped tail as stimulation combined with injected intraperitoneally p-chlorophenylalanine(PCPA) to establish sleep deprivation model.After the successful replication of the model,they were randomly divided into model group,grabbing group,Western Medicine group,acupuncture group and sham acupuncture group,with 10 rats in each group.The model group was given normal saline;The grasping group was grasped in the same way as the two treatment groups;Western medicine group was given estazolam solution;The acupuncture group was treated with the acupuncture method of 'soothing the liver Qi and regulating mind' needling Baihui(GV20),Neiguan(PC6),Shenmen(HT7) and Taichong(LR3);The sham acupuncture group were needled with four nonacupoint sites.After 7 d of treatment of rats in each group,sodium pentobarbital sleep experiment was used to evaluate the sleep latency(SL) and sleep time(ST).The percentage of rats entering the open arm(OE%) and the percentage of time entering the open arm(OT%) in each group were monitored by elevated cross maze,and the vertical score,horizontal crossing times,central grid score and modification times were monitored by open field test,functional near infrared spectroscopy(f NIRs) was used to monitor the changes of oxygenated hemoglobin(Oxy-Hb),deoxyhemoglobin(Deoxy-Hb) and total hemoglobin(Total-Hb) in the cerebral cortex of rats in each group under light stimulation and dark stimulation,the statistically significant channel combinations were selected from 8 light sources and 12 detectors(S-D).According to the position of the light source detector covering the cerebral cortex,Preliminarily determine the key brain areas of insomnia(the preliminary experiment found that 6S-8D and 7S-9D were the key channels of insomnia under light stimulation,and the corresponding brain areas were prefrontal lobe and occipital lobe respectively;7S-7D channel under dark stimulation,and the corresponding brain area was occipital lobe);The hemodynamic map of cerebral cortex was constructed through the absolute value of whole brain blood oxygen level.Further identify key brain regions for insomnia.RESULTS:Compared with the blank group,ST,OE%,OT%,the vertical score,horizontal crossing times,central grid score,the concentration of Deoxy-Hb in prefrontal and occipital lobes were decreased significantly(P < 0.01),and the concentrations of SL,modification times,Oxy-Hb and Total-Hb were increased significantly(P < 0.01);There was no difference in the above indexes between the model group and the grabbing group(P > 0.05);After treatment,ST,OE%,OT%,the vertical score,horizontal crossing times,central grid score and DeoxyHb concentration in acupuncture group and Western medicine group increased significantly,while SL,modification times,Oxy-Hb and Total-Hb concentrations were decreased significantly(P < 0.01,P < 0.05),Compared with the Western Medicine group,the values of OE% and OT% were more significantly higher in the acupuncture group(P < 0.05),while the rest of the indexes were not significantly different between the two groups(P > 0.05);Compared with the acupuncture group,ST,OE%,OT%,the vertical score,horizontal crossing times,central grid score and the concentration of deoxy Hb in the sham acupuncture group decreased significantly(P < 0.01),and the concentrations of SL,modification times,Oxy-Hb and Total-Hb increased significantly(P < 0.01).CONCLUSIONS:The needling method for soothing the liver Qi and regulating mind could improve the abnormal behavior of insomnia rats with liver Qi stagnation,and its effect on the improvement of abnormal mood caused by insomnia with liver Qi stagnation is better than that of Western Medicine,and the mechanism of action may be related to the regulation of blood oxygen metabolism in the prefrontal and occipital lobes of the cerebral cortex by acupuncture.YE Yujuan WEI Yuting JIA Jing YAN Xingke 2023Journal of Traditional Chinese Medicine2023,43,3:1

17Constructions of ROS-responsive titanium-hydroxyapatite implant for mesenchymal stem cell recruitment in peri-implant space and bone formation in osteoporosis microenvironment显示文摘To solve the issue of unsatisfactory recruitment of mesenchymal stem cells(MSCs)around implant in osteoporotic fractures,we fabricated a ROS-responsive system on titanium surface through hydroxyapatite coating and biomolecule grafting.The porous hydroxyapatite and phosphorylated osteogenic growth peptides(p-OGP)were introduced onto titanium surface to synergistically improve osteogenic differentiation of MSCs.After the p-OGPpromoted expression of osteogenic related proteins,the calcium and phosphate ions were released through the degradation of hydroxyapatite and integrated into bone tissues to boost the mineralization of bone matrix.The ROS-triggered release of DNA aptamer(Apt)19S in the osteoporotic microenvironment guides MSC migration to implant site due to its high affinity with alkaline phosphatase on the membrane of MSCs.Once MSCs reached the implant interface,their osteogenic differentiation potential was enhanced by p-OGP and hydroxyapatite to promote bone regeneration.The study here provided a simple and novel strategy to prepare functional titanium implants for osteoporotic bone fracture repair.Maohua Chen Yuting Sun Yanhua Hou Zhong Luo Menghuan Li Yujia Wei Maowen Chen Lu Tan Kaiyong Cai Yan Hu 2022Bioactive Materials2022,7,12:1
