| 1 | Annual 30-m land use/land cover maps of China for 1980–2015 from the integration of AVHRR, MODIS and Landsat data using the BFAST algorithm显示文摘Annual land use land cover(LULC)change information at medium spatial resolution(i.e.at 30 m)is required in numerous subjects,such as biophysical modelling,land management and global change studies.Annual LULC information,however,is usually not available at continental or national scale due to reasons such as insufficient remote sensing data coverage or lack of computational capabilities.Here we integrate high temporal resolution and coarse spatial resolution satellite images(i.e.,Moderate Resolution Imaging Spectroradiometer(MODIS)and Global Inventory Modelling and Mapping Studies(GIMMS)normalized difference vegetation index(NDVI))with high spatial resolution datasets(China’s Land-Use/cover Datasets(CLUDs)derived from 30-meter Landsat TM/ETM+/OLI)to generate reliable annual nominal 30 m LULC maps for the whole of China between 1980 and 2015.We also test the performance of a statistical based change detection algorithm(Breaks for Additive Seasonal and Trend),originally designed for tracking forest change,in classifying all-type LULC change.As a result,a nominal 30 m annual land use/land cover datasets(CLUD-A)from 1980 to 2015 was developed for the whole China.The mapping results were assessed with a change sample dataset,a regional annual validation sample set and a three-year China sample set.Of the detected change years,75.61%matched the exact time of conversion within±1 year.Annual mapping results provided a detail process of urbanization,deforestation,afforestation,water and cropland dynamics over the past 36 years.The consistent characterization of land change dynamics for China can be further used in scientific research and to support land management for policy-makers. | Yidi XU Le YU Dailiang PENG Jiyao ZHAO Yuqi CHENG Xiaoxuan LIU Wei LI Ran MENG Xinliang XU Peng GONG | 2020 | Science China Earth Sciences2020,63,9: | 12 |
| 2 | Impact of type 2 diabetes mellitus on short-term and long-term outcomes of patients with esophageal squamous cell cancer undergoing resection: a propensity score analysis显示文摘Background:The association between type 2 diabetes mellitus(T2DM)and the risk of esophageal cancer remains unclear.The present study aimed to evaluate the impact of T2DM on short-term outcomes and long-term survival in patients with esophageal squamous cell cancer(ESCC).Methods:The present retrospective study included 862 patients diagnosed with ESCC between January 2001 and December 2010.Among them,280 patients had T2DM.A 1:1 propensity score-matched cohort consisting of 280 patients with and 280 without T2DM was selected from the 862 patients.The associations between T2DM and clinico-pathologic characteristics were assessed using theχ2 or Fisher’s exact test.Survival of ESCC patients with and without T2DM was calculated by using the Kaplan-Meier method and compared by using the Cox regression model between the two groups.Results:The occurrence rate of anastomotic leakage was significantly higher in patients with T2DM than in those without T2DM(P<0.001).In the subgroup with weight loss rate≤5.05%,ESCC patients with T2DM had a signifi-cant longer overall survival than did those without T2DM(P=0.003),whereas in the subgroup with weight loss rate>5.05%,the patients without T2DM showed a longer survival(P=0.001).Univariate and multivariate analysis results showed that T2DM was not an independent prognostic factor for patient survival.Conclusions:Type 2 diabetes mellitus is not an independent prognostic factor in patients with ESCC.However,the combination of T2DM with severe weight loss would be a predictor of poor prognosis. | Wang Yao Yuqi Meng Mingjian Lu Wenzhe Fan Jinhua Huang Jiaping Li Zhihua Zhu | 2018 | Cancer Communications2018,38,1: | 2 |

| 7 | Realizing simultaneously excellent energy storage and discharge properties in AgNbO_(3)based antiferroelectric ceramics via La^(3t)and Ta^(5+)co-substitution strategy显示文摘AgNbO_(3)based antiferroelectric(AFE)ceramics have large maximum polarization and low remanent polarization,and thus are important candidates for fabricating dielectric capacitors.However,their energy storage performances have been still large difference with those of lead-based AFEs because of their room-temperature ferrielectric(FIE)behavior.In this study,novel La^(3+)and Ta^(5+)co-substituted AgNbO_(3)ceramics are designed and developed.The introduction of La^(3+)and Ta^(5+)decreases the tolerance factor,reduces the polarizability of B-site cations and increases local structure heterogeneity of AgNbO_(3),which enhance AFE phase stability and refine polarization-electric field(PeE)loops.Besides,adding La^(3+)and Ta^(5+)into AgNbO_(3)ceramics causes the decrease of the grain sizes and the increase of the band gap,which contribute to increased Eb.As a consequence,a high recoverable energy density of 6.79 J/cm3 and large efficiency of 82.1%,which exceed those of many recently reported AgNbO_(3)based ceramics in terms of overall energy storage properties,are obtained in(Ag0.88La0.04)(Nb0.96Ta0.04)O_(3)ceramics.Furthermore,the discharge properties of the ceramic with discharge time of 16 ns and power density of 145.03 MW/cm3 outperform those of many lead-free dielectric ceramics. | Yuqi Zhou Shuaibing Gao Jie Huang Meng Shen Shenglin Jiang Yunbin He Qingfeng Zhang | 2023 | Journal of Materiomics2023,9,2: | 0 |
| 8 | Constant-level spatio-temporal integrated search algorithm for repeating sun-synchronous orbit satellite images显示文摘Metadata information and catalogue services are major ways of making satellite images findable and accessible.Spatio-temporal indexing is the key to ensuring efficient searches.Because spatial information and temporal information are usually independently maintained and indexed,the image retrieval process has to include two search steps:a spatial query and a temporal query.As most Earth Observation satellites are specially designed to have repeating sun-synchronous orbits(RSSO),this type of satellite data has a close correlation between its spatial coverage and temporal coverage information.In this paper,an integrated spatiotemporal indexing mechanism is proposed for RSSO satellites.The spatio-temporal Look-Up Table(st-LUT)that serves as the index reflects the coupled correlation between the spatial and temporal coverage information within one orbit revisiting cycle.Image retrieval algorithms are designed based on the st-LUT.In this study,1,765,797 Landsat 8 scenes collected from 28 June 2013 to 31 December 2019 data are used to establish and validate the proposed indexing mechanism and search algorithms.Because this new method only need to focus on the changes of the spatial and temporal coverage over the time in one orbit revisiting cycle,the spatial search space is limited to the fixed number of grids.Therefore,the search algorithm is at a constant level.Its performance is not related to the volume of the images that need to search. | Yuqi Bai Meng Jin | 2021 | International Journal of Digital Earth2021,14,8: | 0 |

| 12 | Manganese-Fluorouracil Metallodrug Nanotheranostic for MRI-Correlated Drug Release and Enhanced Chemoradiotherapy显示文摘For cancer therapy,drug delivery systems are often limited by insufficient drug loading capacity,which usually results in systemic toxicity and heavy metabolic burden to excrete the carriers.Herein,we reported a“one-pot”method for constructing metal(Mn^(2+))–fluorouracil(FU)-coordinated nanotheranostics(Mn-FU)by self-assembly of FU(as bridging ligands)and Mn^(2+)(as metal nodes)through Mn–N/O coordination interactions.Importantly,owing to the effective coordination between Mn and FU,Mn-FU exhibits high drug loading efficacy(47.7 wt%),encapsulation efficacy(82.6%),and relatively large yield(1 g/pot).In acidic tumor microenvironments,efficient release of FU and Mn^(2+)is realized because of nitrogen protonation.The released FU and Mn^(2+)from Mn-FU are used for chemotherapy and turn on magnetic resonance imaging(MRI),respectively,achieving MRI-correlated drug release.After PEG modification,Mn-FU displays high tumor homing ability via enhanced permeability and retention effects and quick renal clearance owing to the disassembly in acidic biological conditions.As a result,Mn-FU substantially enhances the synergistic effects of chemoradiotherapy.Meanwhile,the systemic toxic side effects of free FU-based chemoradiotherapy were greatly reduced through this nanotheranostic.Our strategy offers a facile way to construct metallodrug nanotheranostics for efficient cancer theranostics. | Chan Yang Guosheng Song Haifeng Yuan Yue Yang Yuqi Wang Deju Ye Hongmin Meng Shuangyan Huan Xiao-Bing Zhang | 2021 | CCS Chemistry2021,3,4: | 0 |

| 14 | Fine mapping and transcriptome sequencing reveal candidate genes conferring all-stage resistance to stripe rust on chromosome arm 1AL in Chinese wheat landrace AS1676显示文摘Stripe rust, caused by Puccinia striiformis f. sp. tritici(Pst), threatens wheat production worldwide, and resistant varieties tend to become susceptible after a period of cultivation owing to the variation of pathogen races. In this study, a new resistance gene against Pst race CYR34 was identified and predicted using the descendants of a cross between AS1676, a highly resistant Chinese landrace, and Avocet S, a susceptible cultivar. From a heterozygous plant from a F7recombinant inbred line(RIL) population lacking the Yr18 gene, a near-isogenic line(NIL) population was developed to map the resistance gene. An allstage resistance gene, YrAS1676, was identified on chromosome arm 1AL via bulked-segregant exomecapture sequencing. By analyzing a large NIL population consisting of 6537 plants, the gene was further mapped to the marker interval between KA1A_485.36 and KA1A_490.13, spanning 485.36–490.13 Mb on1AL. A total of 66 annotated genes have been reported in this region. To characterize and predict the candidate gene(s), an RNA-seq was performed using NIL-R and NIL-S seedlings 3 days after CYR34 inoculation. Compared to NIL-S plants, NIL-R plants showed stronger immune reaction and higher expression levels of genes encoding pathogenesis-associated proteins. These differences may help to explain why NIL-R plants were more resistant to Pst race CYR34 than NIL-S plants. By combining fine-mapping and transcriptome sequencing, a calcium-dependent protein kinase gene was finally predicted as the potential candidate gene of YrAS1676. This gene contained a single-nucleotide polymorphism. The candidate gene was more highly expressed in NIL-R than in NIL-S plants. In field experiments with Pst challenge,the YrAS1676 genotype showed mitigation of disease damage and yield loss without adverse effects on tested agronomic traits.
