Identification and field evaluation of the sex pheromone of an invasive pest, the fall webworm Hyphantria cunea in China显示文摘Pheromone gland extracts of the fall webworm,Hyphantria cunea(Lepidoptera:Arctiidae) were analyzed by gas chromatography(GC) and gas chromatography-mass spectrometry(GC-MS).Based on comparison of retention times and mass spectra of synthetic standards, four compounds were identi-fied as(9Z,12Z)-octadecadienal,(9Z,12Z,15Z)-octadecatrienal,(3Z,6Z,9S,10R)-9,10-epoxy-3,6-heneicosadiene and(3Z,6Z,9S,10R)-9,10-epoxy-1,3,6-heneicosatriene with a ratio of 2:33.6:58.4:6.Trapping tests showed that quaternary blend of these compounds was highly attractive to male H.cunea.Unitraps baited with the quaternary blend loading of 200―300 μg on a gray rubber septum were very effective for monitoring H.cunea populations.SU MaoWen FANG YuLing TAO WanQiang YAN GuoZeng MA WanE ZHANG ZhongNing 2008Chinese Science Bulletin2008,53,4:7
Rod-shape inorganic biomimetic mutual-reinforcing MnO2-Au nanozymes for catalysis-enhanced hypoxic tumor therapy显示文摘Biomimetic nanozymes possessing natural enzyme-mimetic activities have been extensively applied in nanocatalytic tumor therapy. However, engineering hybrid biomimetic nanozymes to achieve superior nanozyme activity remained to be an intractable challenge in hypoxic tumors.Herein,a rod-like biomimetic hybrid inorganic MnO2-Au nanozymes are developed, where MnO2 and ultrasmall Au nanoparticles(NPs)are successively deposited on the mesoporous silica nanorod to cooperatively improve the O2 content and thermal sensitivity of hypoxic solid tumors guided by multi-modal imaging.Under the catalyzing of MnO2,the intratumoral H2O2 is decomposed to greatly accelerate O2 generation, which could boost the curative effect of radiation therapy(RT)and further enhance the Au-catalyzed glucose oxidation.Mutually, the Au NPs can steadily and efficiently catalyze the oxidation of glucose in harsh tumor microenvironment, thus sensitizing tumor cells to thermal ablation for mild photothermal therapy and further promoting the catalytic efficiency of MnO2 with the self-supplied H2O2/H+.As a result, this mutual-reinforcing cycle can endow the nanoplatform with accelerated O2 generation, thus alleviating hypoxic environment and further boosting RT effect.Furthermore, acute glucose consuming can induce downregulation expression of heat shock protein(HSP),achieving starvation-promoted mild photothermal therapy. This synthesized hybrid nanozymes proves to be a versatile theranostic agent for nanocatalytic cancer therapy.Lifang Yang Chuchu Ren Min Xu Yilin Song Qianglan Lu Yule Wang Yan Zhu Xinxing Wang Nan Li 2020Nano Research2020,13,8:5
Abnormal Brain Structure and Function in First-Episode Childhood- and Adolescence-Onset Schizophrenia: Association with Clinical Symptoms显示文摘Dear Editor,Schizophrenia is one of the most complicated and serious psychiatric disorders, and patients often show markedly disrupted structural and functional abnormalities during resting-state imaging scans of the brain. Patients with firstepisode childhood- and adolescence-onset schizophrenia (CAOS) refers to individuals under the age of 18 years whose first episode of illness had occurred before they were 13 years old [1]. The symptoms are similar to adultonset schizophrenia-auditory hallucinations or language deficits and abnormal cognition. However, CAOS patients often present with more severe psychotic symptoms and have a worse prognosis and treatment effect [2].Yanhong Xia Dan Lv Yinghui Liang Haisan Zhang Keyang Pei Rongrong Shao Yali Li Yan Zhang Yuling Li Jinghua Guo Luxian Lv Suqin Guo 2019Neuroscience Bulletin2019,35,3:4

The stability of a novel weakly alkaline slurry of copper interconnection CMP for GLSI显示文摘Chemical mechanical polishing(CMP) is one of the important machining procedures of multilayered copper interconnection for GLSI, meanwhile polishing slurry is a critical factor for realizing the high polishing performance such as high planarization efficiency, low surface roughness. The effect of slurry components such as abrasive(colloidal silica), complexing agent(glycine), inhibitor(BTA) and oxidizing agent(H_2O_2) on the stability of the novel weakly alkaline slurry of copper interconnection CMP for GLSI was investigated in this paper. First, the synergistic and competitive relationship of them in a peroxide-based weakly alkaline slurry during the copper CMP process was studied and the stability mechanism was put forward. Then 1 wt% colloidal silica, 2.5 wt% glycine,200 ppm BTA, 20 m L/L H_2O_2 had been selected as the appropriate concentration to prepare copper slurry, and using such slurry the copper blanket wafer was polished. From the variations of copper removal rate, root-mean square roughness(Sq) value with the setting time, it indicates that the working-life of the novel weakly alkaline slurry can reach more than 7 days, which satisfies the requirement of microelectronics further development.Caihong Yao Chenwei Wang Xinhuan Niu Yan Wang Shengjun Tian Zichao Jiang Yuling Liu 2018Journal of Semiconductors2018,39,2:2

NIR-II driven plasmon-enhanced cascade reaction for tumor microenvironment-regulated catalytic therapy based on bio-breakable Au-Ag nanozyme显示文摘Emerging nanozymes with natural enzyme-mimicking catalytic activities have inspired extensive research interests due to their high stability, low cost, and simple preparation, especially in the field of catalytic tumor therapy.Here,bio-breakable nanozymes based on glucose-oxidase(GOx)-loaded biomimetic Au–Ag hollow nanotriangles(Au–Ag–GOx HTNs)are designed, and they trigger an near-infrared(NIR)-II-driven plasmon-enhanced cascade catalytic reaction through regulating tumor microenvironment(TME)for highly efficient tumor therapy.Firstly,GOx can effectively trigger the generation of gluconic acid(H+)and hydrogen peroxide(H2O2),thus depleting nutrients in the tumor cells as well as modifying TME to provide conditions for subsequent peroxidase(POD)-like activity.Secondly,NIR-II induced surface plasmon resonance can induce hot electrons to enhance the catalytic activity of Au–Ag–GOx HTNs,eventually boosting the generation of hydroxyl radicals(•OH).Interestingly, the generated H2O2 and H+can simultaneously induce the degradation of Ag nanoprisms to break the intact triangle nanostructure, thus promoting the excretion of Au–Ag–GOx HTNs to avoid the potential risks of drug metabolism.Overall, the NIR-II driven plasmon-enhanced catalytic mechanism of this bio-breakable nanozyme provides a promising approach for the development of nanozymes in tumor therapy.Min Xu Qianglan Lu Yiling Song Lifang Yang Chuchu Ren Wen Li Ping Liu Yule Wang Yan Zhu Nan Li 2020Nano Research2020,13,8:1

Whole-brain patterns of the presynaptic inputs and axonal projections of BDNF neurons in the paraventricular nucleus显示文摘Brain-derived neurotrophic factor (BDNF) plays a crucial role in human obesity. Yet, the neural circuitry supporting the BDNF-mediated control of energy homeostasis remains largely undefined. To map key regions that might provide inputs to or receive inputs from the paraventricular nucleus (PVN) BDNF neurons, a key type of cells in regulating feeding and thermogenesis, we used rabies virus-based transsynaptic labeling and adeno-associated virus based anterograde tracing techniques to reveal their whole-brain distributions. We found that dozens of brain regions provide dense inputs to or receive dense inputs from PVN BDNF neurons, including several known weight control regions and several novel regions that might be functionally important for the BDNF-mediated regulation of energy homeostasis.Interestingly, several regions show very dense reciprocal connections with PVN BDNF neurons, including the lateral septum, the preoptic area, the ventromedial hypothalamic nucleus, the paraventricular thalamic nucleus, the zona incerta, the lateral parabrachial nucleus, the subiculum, the raphe magnus nucleus, and the raphe pallidus nucleus. These strong anatomical connections might be indicative of important functional connections. Therefore, we provide an outline of potential neural circuitry mediated by PVN BDNF neurons, which might be helpful to resolve the complex obesity network.Fang Luo Yuling Mu Cuicui Gao Yan Xiao Qian Zhou Yiqing Yang Xinyan Ni Wei L.Shen Jiajun Yang 2019Journal of Genetics and Genomics2019,46,1:1

Plant G proteins interact with endoplasmic reticulum luminal protein receptors to regulate endoplasmic reticulum retrieval显示文摘Maintaining endoplasmic reticulum(ER) homeostasis is essential for the production of biomolecules.ER retrieval, i.e., the retrograde transport of compounds from the Golgi to the ER, is one of the pathways that ensures ER homeostasis. However, the mechanisms underlying the regulation of ER retrieval in plants remain largely unknown. Plant ERD2-like proteins(ERD2 s) were recently suggested to function as ER luminal protein receptors that mediate ER retrieval. Here, we demonstrate that heterotrimeric G protein signaling is involved in ERD2-mediated ER retrieval. We show that ERD2 s interact with the heterotrimeric G protein Ga and Ggsubunits at the Golgi. Silencing of Ga, Gb, or Gg increased the retention of ER luminal proteins. Furthermore, overexpression of Ga, Gb, or Gg caused ER luminal proteins to escape from the ER, as did the co-silencing of ERD2 a and ERD2 b. These results suggest that G proteins interact with ER luminal protein receptors to regulate ER retrieval.Shanshan Wang Ke Xie Guoyong Xu Huarui Zhou Qiang Guo Jingyi Wu Zengwei Liao Na Liu Yan Wang Yule Liu 2018Journal of Integrative Plant Biology2018,60,7:1
The Establishment of Infectious Clone and Single Round Infectious Particles for Coxsackievirus A10显示文摘Coxsackievirus A10(CVA10)is one of the major etiological agents of hand, foot, and mouth disease. There are no vaccine and antiviral drugs for controlling CVA10 infection.Reverse genetic tools for CVA10 will benefit its mechanistic study and development of vaccines and antivirals. Here, two infectious clones for the prototype and a Myc-tagged CVA10 were constructed.Viable CVA10 viruses were harvested by transfecting the viral m RNA into human rhabdomyosarcoma(RD)cells.Rescued CVA10 was further confirmed by next generation sequencing and characterized experimentally. We also constructed the vectors for CVA10 subgenomic replicon with luciferase reporter and viral capsid with EGFP reporter,respectively.Co-transfection of the viral replicon RNA and capsid expresser in human embryonic kidney 293 T(HEK293 T)cells led to the production of single round infectious particles(SRIPs).Based on CVA10 replicon RNA,SRIPs with either the enterovirus A71(EVA71)capsid or the CVA10 capsid were generated.Infection by EVA71 SRIPs required SCARB2,while CVA10 SRIPs did not. Finally,we showed great improvement of the replicon activity and SRIPs production by insertion of a cis-active hammerhead ribozyme(HHRib)before the 50-untranslated region(UTR).In summary, reverse genetic tools for prototype strain of CVA10,including both the infectious clone and the SRIPs system, were successfully established. These tools will facilitate the basic and translational study of CVA10.Min Wang Jingjing Yan Liuyao Zhu Meng Wang Lizhen Liu Rui Yu Ming Chen Jingna Xun Yuling Zhang Zhigang Yi Shuye Zhang 2020Virologica Sinica2020,35,4:1
Identifying the Zn-Co binary as a robust bifunctional electrocatalyst in oxygen reduction and evolution reactions via shifting the apexes of the volcano plot显示文摘The performance of an electrocatalyst is closely correlated with the binding strength of key oxygencontaining intermediates,i.e.,*OOH,*O and*OH,in the oxygen reduction reaction(ORR)and oxygen evolution reaction(OER).Facile strategies to achieve favorable binding strength of these oxygen-containing species are urgently demanded, yet it still remains great challenges.Herein, the Zn-Co bimetallic isolation, which serves as an ideal model,is studied systematically by the density functional theory(DFT).Reaction activity volcano plots are built from 48 models, among them the ZnCoN6-gra(I)configuration is confirmed to be the most stable, featured of the strongest interaction with the oxygen-containing species.Optimal △G*O(free energy change of an atomic oxygen containing intermediate)is facilitated, which effectively drifts the volcano peaks of ORR and OER closer to each other, enabling promising bifunctional catalyst. Moreover, the small overpotential in the simulation of protonation and oxidation by hydroxy groups rationalizes the durability of the catalyst in both acid and alkaline media.Jing Wang Rui Xu Yuling Sun Qian Liu Meirong Xia Yan Li Faming Gao Yufeng Zhao John S.Tse 2021Journal of Energy Chemistry2021,30,4:1
Evaluation of Farmland Drainage Water Quality by Fuzzy–Gray Combination Method显示文摘The complex relationships between indicators and water conditions cause fuzzy and gray uncertainties in evaluation of water quality. Compared to conventional single-factor evaluation methods, the combination evaluation method can consider these two uncertainties to produce more objective and reasonable evaluation results. In this paper, we propose a combination evaluation method with two main parts:(1) the use of fuzzy comprehensive evaluation and gray correlation analysis as submodels with which to consider the fuzzy and gray uncertainties and(2) the establishment of a combination model based on minimum bias squares. In addition, using this method, we evaluate the water quality of a ditch in a typical rice–wheat system of Yixing city in the Taihu Lake Basin during three rainfall events. The results show that the ditch water quality is not good and we found the chemical oxygen demand to be the key indicator that affects water quality most significantly. The proposed combination evaluation method is more accurate and practical than single-factor evaluation methods in that it considers the uncertainties of fuzziness and grayness.Xiaoling Wang Songmin Li Yuling Yan Xiaotong Zheng Fuchao Zhang 2019Transactions of Tianjin University2019,25,1:1
Common genetic heterogeneity of human interleukin-37 leads to functional variance显示文摘Interleukin-37(IL-37)is an inhibitory member of the IL-1 family of cytokines. We previously found that balanced selection maintains common variations of the human IL37 gene. However, the functional consequences of this selection have yet to be validated. Here, using cells expressing exogenous IL-37 variants, including IL-37 Ref and IL-37 Var1 and Var2,we found that the three variants of IL-37 exhibited different immunoregulatory potencies in response to immune stimulation. The protein level of IL-37 Var2 was found to be significantly less than that of IL-37 Ref or Var1,despite the comparable mRNA levels of all three variants.Further study showed that IL-37 Var2 was rapidly degraded by a proteasome-dependent mechanism mediated by enhanced polyubiquitination, leading to a transient upregulation of IL-37 Var2 after immune stimulation. Finally, when ectopically expressed in cells, human IL-37 Var2 exerted less inhibition on proinflammatory cytokine production than did other IL-37 variants.Conversely, purified extracellular IL-37 variant proteins demonstrated comparable inhibitory abilities in vitro. In conclusion, our study reveals that common genetic variants of IL37 lead to different immune-inhibitory potencies, primarily as a result of differences in IL-37 protein stability, suggesting the possible involvement of these variants in various human diseases.Jingjing Yan Yuling Zhang Shimeng Cheng Bin Kang Jinbiao Peng Xiaodan Zhang Meichun Yuan Wenqi Chu Wen Zhang Jiayin Shen Shuye Zhang 2017Cellular & Molecular Immunology2017,14,9:1
