| 1 | Synthesis of mesoporous polymeric carbon nitride exhibiting enhanced and durable visible light photocatalytic performance显示文摘A thiourea precursor was employed to synthesize mesoporous carbon nitride(C3 N4) by a thermal polycondensation process with high surface area SiO2 and nanosphere SiO2 as two types of hard templates. The resultant mesoporous C3 N4 samples have high surface areas(105–112 m2/g) and mesopores with narrow sizes distribution(9.3 nm). Photocatalytic performance was evaluated by removal of NO in air under visible light irradiation. The results showed that mesoporous C3 N4 samples exhibited significantly improved photocatalytic activity in comparison with bulk C3 N4, which also exceeded that of N-doped TiO2 and C-doped TiO2. The activity enhancement can be ascribed to the synergistic effects of large surface area and pore volume, enhanced light-harvesting ability, increased redox potential, and reduced recombination of charge carriers. In addition to the high activity, the mesoporous C3 N4 samples also showed high photochemical stability. | 2 | Monopulse instantaneous 3D imaging for wideband radar system显示文摘To avoid the complicated motion compensation in interferometric inverse synthetic aperture(InISAR)and achieve realtime three-dimensional(3 D)imaging,a novel approach for 3 D imaging of the target only using a single echo is presented.This method is based on an isolated scatterer model assumption,thus the scatterers in the beam can be extracted individually.The radial range of each scatterer is estimated by the maximal likelihood estimation.Then,the horizontal and vertical wave path difference is derived by using the phase comparison technology for each scatterer,respectively.Finally,by utilizing the relationship among the 3 D coordinates,the radial range,the horizontal and vertical wave path difference,the 3 D image of the target can be reconstructed.The reconstructed image is free from the limitation in InISAR that the image plane depends on the target's own motions and on its relative position with respect to the radar.Furthermore,a phase ambiguity resolution method is adopted to ensure the success of the 3 D imaging when phase ambiguity occurs.It can be noted that the proposed phase ambiguity resolution method only uses one antenna pair and does not require a priori knowledge,whereas the existing phase ambiguity methods may require two or more antenna pairs or a priori knowledge for phase unwarping.To evaluate the performance of the proposed method,the theoretical analyses on estimation accuracy are presented and the simulations in various scenarios are also carried out. | LI Yuhan QI Wei DENG Zhenmiao FU Maozhong ZHANG Yunjian | 2021 | Journal of Systems Engineering and Electronics2021,32,1: | 3 |
| 3 | Effects of miR-101-3p on goat granulosa cells in vitro and ovarian development in vivo via STC1显示文摘Background:MiRNAs act as pivotal post-transcriptional gene mediators in the regulation of diverse biological processes,including proliferation,development and apoptosis.Our previous study has showed that miR-101-3p is differentially expressed in dairy goat ovaries compared single with multiple litters.The objective of this research was to explore the potential function and molecular mechanism of miR-101-3p via its target STC1 in goat ovarian growth and development.Results:cDNA libraries were constructed using goat granulosa cells transfected with miR-101-3p mimics and negative control by RNA-sequencing.In total,142 differentially expressed unigenes(DEGs)were detected between two libraries,including 78 down-regulated and 64 up-regulated genes.GO and KEGG enrichment analysis showed the potential impacts of DEGs on ovarian development.STC1 was singled out from DEGs for further research owing to it regulates reproductive-related processes.In vitro,bioinformatics analysis and 3′-UTR assays confirmed that STC1 was a target of miR-101-3p.ELISA was performed to detect the estrogen(E2)and progesterone(P4)levels.CCK8,EdU and flow cytometry assays were performed to detect the proliferation and apoptosis of granulosa cells.Results showed that miR-101-3p regulated STAR,CYP19A1,CYP11A1 and 3β-HSD steroid hormone synthesis-associated genes by STC1 depletion,thus promoted E2 and P4 secretions.MiR-101-3p also affected the key protein PI3K,PTEN,AKT and mTOR in PI3K-AKT pathway by STC1,thereby suppressing proliferation and promoting apoptosis of granulosa cells.In vivo,the distribution and expression levels of miR-101-3p in mouse ovaries were determined through fluorescence in situ hybridisation(FISH).Immunohistochemistry results showed that STC1 expression was suppressed in mouse ovaries in miR-101-3p-agonist and siRNA-STC1 groups.Small and stunted ovarian fragments,decreased numbers of follicles at diverse stages were observed using Hematoxylin-eosin(HE)staining,thereby showing unusual ovarian development after miR-101-3p overexpression or STC1 depletion.Inhibition of miR-101-3p manifested opposite results.Conclusions:Taken together,our results demonstrated a regulatory mechanism of miR-101-3p via STC1 in goat granulosa cells,and offered the first in vivo example of miR-101-3p and STC1 functions required for ovarian development. | Xiaopeng An Haidong Ma Yuhan Liu Fu Li Yuxuan Song Guang Li Yueyu Bai Binyun Cao | 2021 | Journal of Animal Science and Biotechnology2021,12,2: | 2 |

| 7 | First detection of cutavirus DNA in stools of patients with rheumatic diseases in Guangzhou,China显示文摘Cutavirus(CuV)is a novel protoparvovirus possibly associated with diarrhea and cutaneous T-cell lymphomas.Patients with rheumatic disease are immunosuppressed and may be more vulnerable to pathogenic viruses.A descriptive study was conducted among hospitalized patients with rheumatic diseases and individuals undergoing medical health check-ups between June 2019 and June 2022 in Guangzhou,China.Stool samples of subjects were tested for CuV DNA.Demographic and fecal examination data of patients were obtained from electronic medical records.A total of 505 patients with rheumatic diseases and 244 individuals who underwent medical health check-ups were included in the study.Of the patients with rheumatic disease,5.74%[95%confidence interval(CI):4.03%–8.12%]were positive for CuV DNA,while no individual in the medical health check-up group was positive,indicating a close correlation between CuV and rheumatic disease.Men and patients with rheumatoid arthritis or ankylosing spondylitis,according to the disease classification,were more susceptible to being infected with CuV(P<0.01).After adjustments,being male remained the only significant factor,with an adjusted odd ratio(OR)of 4.4(95%CI:1.7–11.4,P?0.002).Phylogenetic analysis of the CuV VP2 sequences showed three diverse clades,one of which was segregated to be a single branching independent of previously known sequences,which is possible a new genotype. | Yongzhi Li Liting Zheng Huan He Husheng Xiong Jiaqi Chen Hengbiao Sun Caiyun Chen Qiushuang Li Jiaqi Fu Fei Wu Yuhan Gao Juxian Xian Minyi Liang Gang Xiao Qing Chen | 2023 | Virologica Sinica2023,38,6: | 0 |

| 10 | Mechanisms of bone pain:Progress in research from bench to bedside显示文摘The field of research on pain originating from various bone diseases is expanding rapidly, with new mechanisms and targets asserting both peripheral and central sites of action. The scope of research is broadening from bone biology to neuroscience,neuroendocrinology, and immunology. In particular, the roles of primary sensory neurons and non-neuronal cells in the peripheral tissues as important targets for bone pain treatment are under extensive investigation in both pre-clinical and clinical settings. An understanding of the peripheral mechanisms underlying pain conditions associated with various bone diseases will aid in the appropriate application and development of optimal strategies for not only managing bone pain symptoms but also improving bone repairing and remodeling, which potentially cures the underlying etiology for long-term functional recovery. | 14 | Ungulate bocaparvovirus 4 and rodent bocavirus are different genotypes of the same species of virus显示文摘Bocaviruses are associated with many human infectious diseases, such as respiratory tract infections, gastroenteritis, and hepatitis. Rats are known to be reservoirs of bocaviruses, including rodent bocavirus and rat bocavirus.Recently, ungulate bocaparvovirus 4, a known porcine bocavirus, has also been found in rats. Thus, investigating bocaviruses in rats is important for determining the origin of the viruses and preventing and controlling their transmission. To the best of our knowledge, no study to date has investigated bocaviruses in the livers of rats. In this report, a total of 624 rats were trapped in southern China between 2014 and 2017. Liver and serum samples from rats were tested for the prevalence of bocaviruses using PCR. Sequences related to ungulate bocaparvovirus 4and rodent bocavirus were detected in both liver and serum samples. Interestingly, the prevalence of ungulate bocaparvovirus 4(reference strain: KJ622366.1) was higher than that of rodent bocavirus(reference strain:KY927868.1) in both liver(2.24% and 0.64%, respectively) and serum samples(2.19% and 0.44%, respectively).The NS1 regions of ungulate bocaparvovirus 4 and rodent bocavirus related sequences displayed over 84% and88% identity at the nucleic acid and amino acid levels, respectively. Furthermore, these sequences had similar genomic structure, genomic features, and codon usage bias, and shared a common ancestor. These viruses also displayed greater adaptability to rats than pigs. | 15 | Nutritional value of domesticated duckweed variety DW2602 and its feeding effects on the growth performance and digestive activities of tilapia fingerlings显示文摘Duckweed are a family of fast-growing aquatic plants,in which wild plants of many species have been tested in animal feed.We domesticated a duckweed variety,Spirodela polyrhiza DW2602,which had 44.5%protein and 2.6% lysine and was grown on a large scale.The effects of DW2602 on the growth performance and the digestive enzyme activities of tilapia variety GIFT(Genetic Improvement of Farmed Tilapia,Oreochromis niloticus)fingerlings were evaluated.The dry powder of DW2602 was added to conventional tilapia feed at six inclusion levels of 0%,10%,15%,20%,25%,and 30%.The diets were fed to tilapia fingerlings with an initial weight of 2.0±0.15 g for 60 d.Results showed that DW2602 improved the growth performance and digestive enzyme activities significantly.The feeding effect was the best when the inclusion rate was 20%,in which the body weight increased to 37.24±1.21 g in 60 d,18.15%higher than the control(P<0.05).The weight gain rate,the specific growth rate,the condition factor,and the hepatosomatic index of the fish were all significantly higher than the control(P<0.05),and the amylase,protease,and lipase activities in the digestive system were all promoted by DW2602(P<0.05).Therefore,the duckweed variety DW2602 has great application prospect in tilapia culture. | Bingying Han Ting Chen Bohan Yu Yuepan Ren Yuhan Long Deguan Tan Lili Fu Jiaming Zhang | 2022 | Tropical Plants2022,1,1: | 0 |
