1Relationship Between Microcystin in Drinking Water and Colorectal Cancer显示文摘Objective To investigate the association of microcystin (MC) in drinking water with the incidence of colorectal cancer. Methods The study was designed as a retrospective cohort. Eight townships or towns were randomly selected as the study sites in Haining City of Zhejiang Province, China. 408 cases of colon and rectum carcinomas diagnosed from 1977 to 1996 in the study sites were included, and a survey on types of drinking water of these patients was conducted. Samples of different water sources (well, tap, river and pond) were collected separately and microcystin concentrations were determined by indirect competitive ELISA method. Results The incidence rate of colorectal cancer was significantly higher in population who drank river and pond water than those who drank well and tap water. Compared to well water, the relative risk (RR) for colorectal cancer was 1.88 (tap), 7.94 (river) and 7.70 (pond) respectively. The positive rate (>50 pg/mL) of microcystin in samples of well, tap, river and pond water was 0, 0, 36.23% and 17.14% respectively. The concentration of microcystin in river and pond water was significantly higher than that in well and tap water (P<0.01). Spearman rank correlation analysis showed that in the study sites, the microcystin concentration of river and pond water was positively associated with the incidence of colorectal cancer (rs= 0.881, P<0.01). Conclusions The types of drinking water are positively associated with the incidence of colorectal cancer in the study sites, and this may be related to microcystin contamination of drinking water. 3Evaluation of remediation process with soapberry derived saponin for removal of heavy metals from contaminated soils in Hai-Pu, Taiwan显示文摘The use of a biodegradable natural plant-based surfactant extracted from soapberry is proposed for the remediation of Ni,Cr and Mn from industrial soil site in Hai-Pu,Taiwan.Batch experiments were performed under variation of fundamental factors(saponin concentration,pH,and incubation time) for metal remediation.Removal of Ni and Mn were increased with increasing saponin concentration(0.015-0.150 g/L),whereas the removal of Cr was increased upto 0.075 g/L saponin.The Ni,Cr and Mn were removed significantly(p ≤ 0.05) at near to the neutral and slightly acidic(pH 5 to 8) conditions.Removal efficiency of Ni(99%) from the soil was found to be greater than that of Cr(73%) or Mn(25%) in the presence of saponin at a concentration of 0.150 g/L at pH 5.The removal percentage increased with incubation time where the removal of Ni was faster than that of Cr and Mn.The result indicates the feasibility of eco-friendly removal of heavy metal(Ni,Cr and Mn) from industrial soil by soil washing process in presence of plant derived saponin.Jyoti Prakash Maity Yuh Ming Huang Cheng-Wei Fan Chien-Cheng Chen Chun-Yi Li Chun-Mei Hsu Young-Fo Chang Ching-I Wu Chen-Yen Chen Jiin-Shuh Jean 2013Journal of Environmental Sciences2013,25,6:11
4混合现实技术在口腔颌面部肿瘤手术中的应用显示文摘目的:探讨混合现实技术在口腔颌面部肿瘤手术中的应用价值。方法:选择2018年12月—2020年1月就诊于北京大学口腔医院口腔颌面外科需行手术治疗的肿瘤患者,将患者术前增强CT原始数据导入星图医学影像工作站(维卓致远,中国北京),分别对肿瘤、血管、骨骼等重要解剖结构进行三维模型重构,显示其术前空间关系,对重点结构进行标记,并进行术前规划。通过混合现实技术在术区立体显示三维重建模型,术者利用简单手势在术中保持无菌状态下对眼前的三维重建模型进行调整,观察肿瘤范围、大小、位置及其与周围临近重要解剖结构的关系。应用混合现实技术辅助手术进行,手术开始前进行三维模型配准,肿瘤显露过程中进行术中验证,术后利用Likert量表对混合现实技术的应用效果进行评价。结果:入选的8例患者均顺利实施了混合现实技术辅助下的肿瘤切除手术,手术过程中三维重建模型平均配准时间为12.0 min,术者在所有病例的手术中均都能直观、立体地观看肿物以及周围解剖结构的三维重建模型,并可在术中自行调整图像。Likert量表评价结果显示:在感知准确性、帮助确定解剖部位、术中图像引导作用,以及改善手术安全性的潜力方面均获得较高评分(分别为4.22、4.19、4.16和4.28分)。8例患者术后愈合良好,无手术并发症发生。结论:混合现实技术能通过三维重建模型实时立体可视化,提供术区解剖结构信息,引导和修正手术操作,提高口腔颌面部肿瘤切除手术的准确性和安全性。唐祖南 Hui Yuh Soh 胡耒豪 于尧 章文博 彭歆 2020北京大学学报(医学版)2020,52,6:9
5湍流模化的现状及发展趋势显示文摘本文讨论了湍流模化研究的发展现状,提出了今后湍流模式的可能改进途径。根据一组湍流封闭假定得到了各种2阶湍流模式,如Reynolds应力模式(RSM),代数应力模式(k-ε-A)及涡粘性模式(k-ε-E)。以自由剪切流、空腔流及通过偏心槽的流动为例作出了预报。虽然至今还不存在一个完备湍流模式,但2阶湍流模式已经具备了某些预报能力。湍流模化的不完备性可能要归咎于各向同性耗散和单湍流尺度等假定的不适当。利用多重湍流尺度概念,包括利用湍流涡的分维,可以改善湍流的预报。陈景仁 Sheng Yuh Jaw 胡晓强 赵渭军 1992力学进展1992,22,3:8
6Corruption of coronary collateral growth in metabolic syndrome: Role of oxidative stress显示文摘The myocardium adapts to ischemic insults in a variety of ways.One adaptation is the phenomenon of acute preconditioning,which can greatly ameliorate ischemic damage.However,this effect wanes within a few hours and does not confer chronic protection.A more chronic adaptation is the so-called second window of preconditioning,which enables protection for a few days.The most potent adaptation invoked by the myocardium to minimize the effects of ischemia is the growth of blood vessels in the heart,angiogenesis and arteriogenesis (collateral growth),which prevent the development of ischemia by enabling flow to a jeopardized region of the heart.This brief review examines the mechanisms underlying angiogenesis and arteriogenesis in the heart.The concept of a redox window,which is an optimal redox state for vascular growth,is discussed along with signaling mechanisms invoked by reactive oxygen species that are stimulated during ischemia-reperfusion.Finally,the review discusses of some of the pathologies,especially the metabolic syndrome,that negatively affect collateral growth through the corruption of redox signaling processes.Yuh Fen Pung William M Chilian 2010World Journal of Cardiology2010,2,12:5
