| 1 | Commissioning progress of the FAST显示文摘The Five-hundred-meter Aperture Spherical radio Telescope(FAST) was completed with its main structure installed on September 25, 2016, after which it entered the commissioning phase. This paper aims to introduce the commissioning progress of the FAST over the past two years. To improve its operational reliability and ensure effective observation time, FAST has been equipped with a real-time information system for the active reflector system and hierarchical commissioning scheme for the feed support system, which ultimately achieves safe operation of the two systems. For meeting the high-performance indices, a highprecision measurement system was set up based on the effective control methods that were implemented for the active reflector system and feed support system. Since the commissioning of the FAST, a low-frequency ultra-wideband receiver and 19-beam1.05-1.45 GHz receiver have been mainly used. Telescope efficiency, pointing accuracy, and system noise temperature were completely tested and ultimately achieved the acceptance indices of the telescope. The FAST has been in the process of national acceptance preparations and has begun to search for pulsars. | 7 | Evaluation and structural analysis of the functions of the Tibetan Plateau National Park Cluster显示文摘National parks are useful entities for looking at coordinated efforts to improve the Tibetan Plateau’s function as an ecological safety barrier and the region’s green development.Research on the characteristics of the function structures of the Tibetan Plateau’s national parks is vital to promoting their systematic and coordinated development.This paper combines the pressure-state-response model,the rank-size rule and a coupling and coordination model to identify and evaluate the functions of national parks on the Tibetan Plateau and to analyze the categories,hierarchy and structures behind those functions.The results indicate the following:(1)The Tibetan Plateau National Park Cluster needs to maintain internal and external relations.Internally it needs to rationally allocate resources between ecological protection,recreation and community development,and externally it needs to promote its role as an ecological security barrier and promote regional green development by rationally ranking and organizing the individual national parks,so as to handle their co-evolution of functions at multiple scales.(2)Ecological protection,recreation and community development are the most prominent functions of the Tibetan Plateau National Park Cluster,but there is scope to develop their scientific research and education functions.The Zipf index shows that their multi-functional level conforms with the rank-size rule,indicating balanced development.Individual national parks need to strengthen their optimal functions according to their characteristic localization.(3)The degree of coupling between the functions of the Tibetan Plateau National Park Cluster is 0.7809,and the degree of coordination is 0.6227,which indicates a very strong coupling and moderate coordination.The coupling strength and degree of coordination between the multiple functions vary greatly among the individual national parks,which reflects their different function structures.There are four function structure types:fully coordinated,optimally developed,moderately developed and moderately underdeveloped.This study contributes to research on evaluating the functions of national park clusters and analyzing their structures,and it serves as a reference on optimizing and sustainably developing the Tibetan Plateau National Park Cluster. | CHEN Dongjun ZHONG Linsheng FAN Jie YU Hu YANG Ding ZENG Yuxi | 2022 | Journal of Geographical Sciences2022,32,5: | 1 |

| 9 | Manipulating selenium molecular configuration in N/O dual-doped porous carbon for high performance potassium-ion storage显示文摘Potassium-selenium(K-Se)batteries have attracted more and more attention because of their high theoretical specific capacity and natural abundance of K resources.However,dissolution of polyselenides,large volume expansion during cycling and low utilization of Se remain great challenges,leading to poor rate capability and cycle life.Herein,N/O dual-doped carbon nanofibers with interconnected micro/mesopores(MMCFs)are designed as hosts to manipulate Se molecular configuration for advanced flexible K-Se batteries.The micropores play a role in confining small Se molecule(Se_(2–3)),which could inhibit the formation of polyselenides and work as physical barrier to stabilize the cycle performance.While the mesopores can confine long-chain Se(Se_(4–7)),promising sufficient Se loading and contributing to higher discharge voltage of the whole Se@MMCFs composite.The N/O co-doping and the 3D interpenetrating nanostructure improve electrical conductivity and keep the structure integrity after cycling.The obtained Se_(2–3)/Se_(4–7)@MMCFs electrode exhibits an unprecedented cycle life(395 mA h g^(−1) at 1 A g^(−1) after 2000 cycles)and high specific energy density(400 Wh kg^(−1),nearly twice the specific energy density of the Se_(2–3)@MMCFs).This study offers a rational design for the realization of a high energy density and long cycle life chalcogen cathode for energy storage. | Dongjun Li Lifeng Wang Xiaolong Cheng Yu Yao Yu Jiang Pengcheng Shi Ying Wu Xiaojun Wu Cheng Ma Yan Yua | 2021 | Journal of Energy Chemistry2021,30,11: | 1 |

| 19 | P-wave Velocity Structure of Crustal and Upper Mantle beneath South China and its Tectonic Implications显示文摘The 3D P-wave velocity structure beneath the South China Block was determined by applying arrival times from 269 teleseismic events recorded by 240 seismic stations within the study region. Our tomographic results reveal the deep structural characteristics of major tectonic units and ore concentration areas. There are distinct high velocity anomalies beneath the ancient Yangtze and Cathaysia blocks, with the lithosphere of the Cathaysia Block being thinner than the Yangtze Block;the Jiangnan orogenic belt, located in the combined zone of two blocks, is a high and low velocity anomaly conversion zone;the famous metallogenic belts of Edongnan, the Youjiang Basin and the Cathaysia Block are obviously low velocity areas with different metallogenic mechanisms. The deep ore-forming material source in the Edongnan metallogenic belt is different from that of the Cathaysia Block. The low velocity anomaly under the Cathaysia Block related to mineralization results from the upwelling of mantle material, caused by the joint action of the Paleo-Tethys tectonic domain, the Paleo-Pacific tectonic domain and the Hainan mantle plume migration and erosion, which has been occurring from northeast to southwest since 80 Ma. | 20 | Indoor metabolites and chemicals outperform microbiome in classifying childhood asthma and allergic rhinitis显示文摘Indoor microorganisms impact asthma and allergic rhinitis(AR),but the associated microbial taxa often vary extensively due to climate and geographical variations.To provide more consistent environmental assessments,new perspectives on microbial exposure for asthma and AR are needed.Home dust from 97 cases(32 asthma alone,37 AR alone,28 comorbidity)and 52 age-and gender-matched controls in Shanghai,China,were analyzed using high-throughput shotgun metagenomic sequencing and liquid chromatography-mass spectrometry.Homes of healthy children were enriched with environmental microbes,including Paracoccus,Pseudomonas,and Psychrobacter,and metabolites like keto acids,indoles,pyridines,and flavonoids(astragalin,hesperidin)(False Discovery Rate<0.05).A neural network co-occurrence probability analysis revealed that environmental microorganisms were involved in producing these keto acids,indoles,and pyridines.Conversely,homes of diseased children were enriched with mycotoxins and synthetic chemicals,including herbicides,insecticides,and food/cosmetic additives.Using a random forest model,characteristic metabolites and microorganisms in Shanghai homes were used to classify high and low prevalence of asthma/AR in an independent dataset in Malaysian schools(N=1290).Indoor metabolites achieved an average accuracy of 74.9%and 77.1%in differentiating schools with high and low prevalence of asthma and AR,respectively,whereas indoor microorganisms only achieved 51.0%and 59.5%,respectively.These results suggest that indoor metabolites and chemicals rather than indoor microbiome are potentially superior environmental indicators for childhood asthma and AR.This study extends the traditional risk assessment focusing on allergens or air pollutants in childhood asthma and AR,thereby revealing potential novel intervention strategies for these diseases. | Yu Sun Hao Tang Shuang Du Yang Chen Zheyuan Ou Mei Zhang Zhuoru Chen Zhiwei Tang Dongjun Zhang Tianyi Chen Yanyi Xu Jiufeng Li Dan Norback Jamal Hisham Hashim Zailina Hashim Jie Shao Xi Fu Zhuohui Zhao | 2023 | Eco-Environment & Health2023,2,4: | 0 |
