1A three-dimensional variational ocean data assimilation system:Scheme and preliminary results显示文摘A new 3DVAR-based Ocean Variational Analysis System (OVALS) is developed. OVALS is capable of assimilating in situ sea water temperature and salinity observations and satellite altimetry data. As a component of OVALS, a new variational scheme is proposed to assimilate the sea surface height data. This scheme considers both the vertical correlation of background errors and the nonlinear temperature-salinity relationship which is derived from the generalization of the linear balance constraints to the nonlinear in the 3DVAR. By this scheme, the model temperature and salinity fields are directly adjusted from the altimetry data. Additionally, OVALS can assimilate the temperature and salinity profiles from the ARGO floats which have been implemented in recent years and some temperature and salinity data such as from expendable bathythermograph, moored ocean buoys, etc. A 21-year assimilation experiment is carried out by using OVALS and the Tropical Pacific circulation model. The results show that the assimilation system may effectively improve the estimations of temperature and salinity by assimilating all kinds of observations. 2A study on relationship of nitric oxide,oxidation,peroxidation,lipoperoxidation with chronic cholecystitis显示文摘AIM To study relationship of injury induced bynitric oxide,oxidation,peroxidation,lipoperoxidation with chronic cholecystitis.METHODS The values of plasma nitric oxide(P-NO),plasma vitamin C(P-VC),plasma vitamin E(P-VE),plasma β-carotene(P-β-CAR),plasmalipoperoxides(P-LPO),erythrocyte superoxidedismutase(E-SOD),erythrocyte catalase(E-CAT),erythrocyte glutathione peroxidase(E-GSH-Px)activities and erythrocyte lipoperoxides(E-LPO)level in 77 patients with chronic cholecystitisand 80 healthy control subjects were determined,differences of the above average values betweenthe patient group and the control group anddifferences of the average values betweenpreoperative and postoperative patients wereanalyzed and compared,linear regression andcorrelation of the disease course with the abovedetermination values as well as the stepwiseregression and correlation of the course with thevalues were analyzed.RESULTS Compared with the control group,theaverage values of P-NO,P-LPO,E-LPO weresignificantly increased(P<0.01),and of P-VC, P-VE,P-β-CAR,E-SOD,E-CAT and E-GSH-Pxdecreased(P<0.01)in the patient group.Theanalysis of the linear regression and correlationshowed that with prolonging of the course,thevalues of P-NO,P-LPO and E-LPO in the patientswere gradually ascended and the values of P-VC,P-VE,P-β-CAR,E-SOD,E-CAT and E-GSH-Pxdescended(P<0.01).The analysis of thestepwise regression and correlation indicated thatthe correlation of the course with P-NO,P-VE andP-β-CAR values was the closest.Compared withthe preoperative patients,the average values of P-NO,P-LPO and E-LPO were significantlydecreased(P<0.01)and the average values of P-VC,E-SOD,E-CAT and E-GSH-Px in postoperativepatients increased(P<0.01)in postoperativepatients.But there was no significant difference inthe average values of P-VE,P-β-CAR preoperativeand postoperative patients.CONCLUSION Chronic cholecystitis could inducethe increase of nitric oxide,oxidation,peroxidation and lipoperoxidation.Jun Fu Zhou Dong Cai You Gen Zhu Jin Lu Yang Cheng Hong Peng Yang Hai Yu 2000World Journal of Gastroenterology2000,6,4:36
3New vacuum solar telescope and observations with high resolution显示文摘The New Vacuum Solar Telescope(NVST) is a one meter vacuum solar telescope that aims to observe fine structures on the Sun. The main goals of NVST are high resolution imaging and spectral observations, including measurements of the solar magnetic field. NVST is the primary ground-based facility used by the Chinese solar research community in this solar cycle. It is located by Fuxian Lake in southwest China, where the seeing is good enough to perform high resolution observations. We first introduce the general conditions at the Fuxian Solar Observatory and the primary science cases of NVST. Then, the basic structures of this telescope and instruments are described in detail. 6MiR-181b suppresses proliferation of and reduces chemoresistance to temozolomide in U87 glioma stem cells显示文摘MicroRNAs regulate self renewal and differentiation of cancer stem cells.There,we sought to identify the expression of miR-181b in glioma stem cells and investigate the biological effect of miR-181b on glioma stem cells in this study.MiR-181b expression was measured by real-time PCR in glioma stem cells isolated from U87 cells by FACS sorting.After miR-181b was overexpressed in U87 glioma stem cells by miR-181b lentiviral expression vector and/or treatment of temozolomide,secondary neurosphere assay,soft agar colony assay and MTT assay were performed.Compared with U87 cells,the expression of miR-181b was significantly decreased in U87 glioma stem cells.Overexpression of miR-181b decreased neurosphere formation by U87 glioma stem cells in vitro and suppressed colony formation in soft agar,and the cell growth inhibition rates increased in a time-dependent manner in U87 glioma stem cells infected with miR-181b lentivirus.Furthermore,miR-181b had a synergistic effect on temozolomide-induced inhibition of secondary neurosphere and soft agar colony,and on cell growth inhibition rates.MiR-181b functions as a tumor suppressor that suppresses proliferation and reduces chemoresistance to temozolomide in glioma stem cells.Ping Li Xiaoming Lu Yingyi Wang Lihua Sun Chunfa Qian Wei Yan Ning Liu Yongping You Zhen Fu 2010The Journal of Biomedical Research2010,24,6:14
7Application of next-generation sequencing technology to precision medicine in cancer: joint consensus of the Tumor Biomarker Committee of the Chinese Society of Clinical Oncology显示文摘Next-generation sequencing(NGS) technology is capable of sequencing millions or billions of DNA molecules simultaneously.Therefore, it represents a promising tool for the analysis of molecular targets for the initial diagnosis of disease, monitoring of disease progression, and identifying the mechanism of drug resistance. On behalf of the Tumor Biomarker Committee of the Chinese Society of Clinical Oncology(CSCO) and the China Actionable Genome Consortium(CAGC), the present expert group hereby proposes advisory guidelines on clinical applications of NGS technology for the analysis of cancer driver genes for precision cancer therapy. This group comprises an assembly of laboratory cancer geneticists, clinical oncologists, bioinformaticians,pathologists, and other professionals. After multiple rounds of discussions and revisions, the expert group has reached a preliminary consensus on the need of NGS in clinical diagnosis, its regulation, and compliance standards in clinical sample collection. 11MicroTom Metabolic Network: Rewiring Tomato Metabolic Regulatory Network throughout the Growth Cycle显示文摘Tomato(Solanum lycopersicum)is a major horticultural crop worldwide and has emerged as a preeminent model for metabolic research.Although many research efforts have focused on the analysis of metabolite differences between varieties and species,the dynamics of metabolic changes during the tomato growth cycle and the regulatory networks that underlie these changes are poorly understood.In this study,we integrated high-resolution spatio-temporal metabolome and transcriptome data to systematically explore the metabolic landscape across 20 major tomato tissues and growth stages.In the resulting MicroTom Metabolic Network,the 540 detected metabolites and their co-expressed genes could be divided into 10 distinct clusters based on their biological functions.Using this dataset,we constructed a global map of the major metabolic changes that occur throughout the tomato growth cycle and dissected the underlying regulatory network.In addition to verifying previously well-established regulatory networks for important metabolites,we identified novel transcription factors that regulate the biosynthesis of important secondary metabolites such as steroidal glycoalkaloids and flavonoids.Our findings provide insights into spatiotemporal changes in tomato metabolism and generate a valuable resource for the study of metabolic regulatory processes in model plants.Yan Li Yang Chen Lu Zhou Shengjie You Heng Deng Ya Chen Saleh Alseekh Yong Yuan Rao Fu Zixin Zhang Dan Su Alisdair R.Fernie Mondher Bouzayen Tao Ma Mingchun Liu Yang Zhang 2020Molecular Plant2020,13,8:10
12Oxidative Stress before and after Operation in Patients with Chronic Cholecystitis Containing Gallstone显示文摘To study the relationship of oxidative, antioxidative constituents and antioxidases in blood with chronic cholecystitis containing gallstone, levels of lipoperoxides (LPO), nitric oxide (NO), vitamin C(VC), vitamin E (VE) and β carotene (β CAR) in plasma as well as level of LPO, activities of superoxide dismutase (SOD), catalase (CAT) and glutathione peroxidase (GSH Px) in erythrocytes were investigated by spectrophotometric assay in 107 patients with this condition (PCg) and 100 healthy volunteers (HVs). Compared with HVs group, the average value of LPO and NO in plasma and that of LPO in erythrocytes of PCg group were significantly increased ( P <0.0001), while that of VC, VE and β CAR in plasma and the average activities of SOD, CAT and GSH Px in erythrocytes were significantly decreased ( P <0.0001). Linear regression and correlation analysis for 107 preoperative PCg showed that the value of LPO and NO in plasma and that of LPO in erythrocytes of PCg gradually increased ( P <0.0001), representing a significant linear positive correlation. The value of VC, VE and β CAR in plasma and that of SOD, CAT and GSH Px in erythrocytes of PCg gradually decreased ( P <0.0001), representing a significant linear negative correlation. Stepwise regression and correlation analysis for 107 preoperative PCg suggested that the closest correlation was observed between the course of disease and the value of NO and VC in plasma and that of SOD, GSH Px and LPO in erythrocytes, r =0.7306, F =32.1408, P <0.0001. Compared with the preoperative PCg group, the average value of LPO and NO in plasma and that of LPO in erythrocytes of the postoperative PCg group were significantly decreased ( P <0.0001). Furthermore, the average value of VC in plasma and that of SOD, CAT and GSH Px in erythrocytes of the postoperative PCg group were significantly increased ( P <0.0001), whereas no significant difference was found between their average value of VE and β CAR in plasma. These findings suggested that oxidative stress was an aggravating pathological condition in PCg group. 16CuFe2O4@GO nanocomposite as an effective and recoverable catalyst of peroxymonosulfate activation for degradation of aqueous dye pollutants显示文摘Recently,heterogeneous activation of peroxymonosulfate(PMS) to oxidatively degrade organic pollutants has been a hotspot.In the present work,copper ferrite-graphite oxide hybrid(CuFe2 O4@GO)was prepared and used as catalyst to activate PMS for degradation of methylene blue(MB) in aqueous solution.A high degradation efficiency(93.3%) was achieved at the experimental conditions of20 mg/L MB,200 mg/L CuFe2 O4@GO,0.8 mmol/L PMS,and 25℃temperature.Moreover,CuFe2 O4@GO showed an excellent reusability and stability.The effects of various operational parameters including pollutant type,solution pH,catalyst dosage,PMS dosage,pollutant concentration,temperature,natural organic matter(NOM),and inorganic anions on the catalytic degradation process were comprehensively investigated and elucidated.The further mechanistic study revealed the Cu(Ⅱ)/Cu(Ⅰ) redox couple on CuFe2 O4@GO played the dominant role in PMS activation,where both hydroxyl and sulfate radicals were generated and proceeded the degradation of pollutants.In general,CuFe2 O4@GO is a promising heterocatalyst for PMS-based advanced oxidation processes(AOPs) in wastewater treatment.Xiaoman Lei Menghan You Fei Pan Min Liu Peng Yang Dongsheng Xia Qiang Li Yanting Wang Jie Fu 2019Chinese Chemical Letters2019,30,12:8
17Synthesis and Spectrophotometric Studies of 2-(2-Imidazolylazo)-5-Dicthylamino Phenol显示文摘In this paper, 2-(2-imidazolylazo)-5-diethylami phenol (IZAPN) was prepared, theprotonation behaviour and the condition of spectrophotometric determination of cobalt with thisreagent are reported. The results show that the new colour reagent reacts with cobalt to from astable purple red complex (l:3). However, the complex formed could be changed into anotherspecies with stable absorptivity by addition of mineral acid (1+1). 19Two case reports and literature review for hepatic epithelioid angiomyolipoma: Pitfall of misdiagnosis显示文摘BACKGROUND Hepatic epithelioid angiomyolipoma(HEAML) is a rare liver disease and is easily misdiagnosed. Enhanced recognition of HEAML is beneficial to the differential diagnosis of rare liver diseases.CASE SUMMARY We presented two cases of HEAML in Changzheng Hospital, Naval Medical University, and then collected and analyzed all reports about HEAML recorded in PubMed, MEDLINE, China Science Periodical Database, and VIP database from January 2000 to March 2018. A total of 409 cases of HEAML in 97 reports were collected, with a ratio of men to women of 1:4.84 and an age range from 12 years to 80 years(median 44 years). Among the patients with clinical symptoms mentioned, 61.93%(205/331) were asymptomatic, 34.74%(115/331) showed upper or right upper quadrant abdomen discomfort, while a few of them showed abdominal mass, gastrointestinal symptoms, low fever, or weight loss. The misdiagnosis rate of HEAML was as high as 40.34%(165/409) due to its nonspecific imaging findings. Most of the tumors were solitary and round in morphology, with clear boundaries. Ultrasound scan indicated low echo with internal nonuniformity and rich blood supply in most cases. Computer tomography/magnetic resonance imaging enhanced scan showed varied characteristics. The ratio of fast wash-in and fast wash-out, fast wash-in and slow wash-out, and delayed enhancement was roughly 4:5:1. A definite diagnosis of HEAML depended on the pathological findings of the epithelioid cells in lesions and the expression of human melanoma black 45, smooth muscle actin,melanoma antigen, and actin by immunohistochemical staining. HEAML had a relatively low malignant rate of 3.91%.
