1Folate receptor-mediated boron-10 containing carbon nanoparticles as potential delivery vehicles for boron neutron capture therapy of nonfunctional pituitary adenomas显示文摘Invasive nonfunctional pituitary adenomas(NFPAs) are difficult to completely resect and often develop tumor recurrence after initial surgery.Currently,no medications are clinically effective in the control of NFPA.Although radiation therapy and radiosurgery are useful to prevent tumor regrowth,they are frequently withheld because of severe complications.Boron neutron capture therapy(BNCT) is a binary radiotherapy that selectively and maximally damages tumor cells without harming the surrounding normal tissue.Folate receptor(FR)-targeted boron-10 containing carbon nanoparticles is a novel boron delivery agent that can be selectively taken up by FR-expressing cells via FR-mediated endocytosis.In this study,FR-targeted boron-10 containing carbon nanoparticles were selectively taken up by NFPAs cells expressing FR but not other types of non-FR expressing pituitary adenomas.After incubation with boron-10 containing carbon nanoparticles and following irradiation with thermal neutrons,the cell viability of NFPAs was significantly decreased,while apoptotic cells were simultaneously increased.However,cells administered the same dose of FR-targeted boron-10 containing carbon nanoparticles without neutron irradiation or received the same neutron irradiation alone did not show significant decrease in cell viability or increase in apoptotic cells.The expression of Bcl-2 was down-regulated and the expression of Bax was up-regulated in NFPAs after treatment with FR-mediated BNCT.In conclusion,FR-targeted boron-10 containing carbon nanoparticles may be an ideal delivery system of boron to NFPAs cells for BNCT.Furthermore,our study also provides a novel insight into therapeutic strategies for invasive NFPA refractory to conventional therapy,while exploring these new applications of BNCT for tumors,especially benign tumors.DAI CongXin CAI Feng HWANG Kuo Chu ZHOU YongMao ZHANG ZiZhu LIU XiaoHai MA SiHai YANG YaKun YAO Yong FENG Ming BAO XinJie LI GuiLin WEI JunJi JIAO YongHui WEI ZhenQing MA WenBin WANG RenZhi 2013Science China(Life Sciences)2013,56,2:8

3The progress on antifouling organic coating: From biocide to biomimetic surface显示文摘The advancement in material science and engineering technology has led to the development of antifouling(AF) coatings which are cheaper, durable, less toxic, and safe to the environment. The use of AF coatings containing tributyltin compounds was prohibited at the beginning of 2003, this necessitated the development of environmentally friendly coatings. The fouling release coating(FRC) lacks biocides and has low surface energy, low elastic modulus with smooth surface properties, hence a better release effect to fouling organisms. Several functional coatings have been recently developed based on fouling release(FR) technology to combat the effects of biofouling. Here, we provide a brief overview of innovative technologies and recent developments based on FRCs, including silicone, modified fluorinated polymer,cross-linked coatings, amphiphilic copolymer coating, hydrogel coatings, and biomimetic coatings. We also highlight the key issues and shortcomings of innovative technologies based on FRCs. 6Performance and stability of yield in response to plant density,year and location in maize hybrids of Northwest China显示文摘Identifying desirable genotypes with the best performance in diverse environments is a perpetual aim of plant breeding,and the interaction between genotype and environment(G×E)always plays a key role.This study was conducted to elucidate the genetic behaviour of different hybrid combinations at various densities in diverse environments.According to a line×tester design,32 hybrid combinations were obtained from 16 inbred individuals crossed with two testers and planted at three locations at three density levels(45,000,67,500 and 90,000 plants ha-1)during 2014-2017.Genotype(G),environment(E)and the interaction of genotype and environment(G×E)significantly affected grain yield at different densities.Increasing planting density enhanced grain yield and improved the efficiency of germplasm screening,where the effect of location on grain yield at different densities was larger than that of year and the GCA was larger than the SCA.Finally,four inbred lines(KB102,KB081,KA105,and KB106)with a high GCA,environmental adaptability,and several combinations using them as parents have been approved in ShannXi Province and National of China.In conclusion,the evaluation of combining ability at multiple densities and locations can effectively screen inbred lines and improve breeding efficiency.Yuan Dong Zhiqian Feng Ting Li Ali Farhan Xiaokang Tian Yonghui Lao Yinxin Duan Leiyong Si Xinghua Zhang Jiquan Xue Shutu Xu 2022Technology in Agronomy2022,2,1:1

13Phylogenetic analysis of aerobic anoxygenic phototrophic bacteria and their relatives based on farnesyl pyrophosphate synthase gene显示文摘The study aims to reveal phylogenetic and evolutionary relationship between aerobic anoxygenic phototrophic bacteria(AAnPB) and their relatives,anaerobic anoxygenic phototrophic bacteria(AnAnPB) and nonphototrophic bacteria(NPB,which had high homology of 16S rDNA gene with AAnPB and fell into the same genus),and validate reliability and usefulness of farnesyl pyrophosphate synthase(FPPS) gene for the phylogenetic determination.FPPS genes with our modified primers and 16S rDNA genes with general primers,were amplified and sequenced or retrieved from GenBank database.In contrast to 16S rDNA gene phylogenetic tree,AAnPB were grouped into two clusters and one branch alone with no intermingling with NPB and AnAnPB in the tree constructed on FPPS.One branch of AAnPB,in both trees,was located closer to outgroup species than AnAnPB,which implicated that some AAnPB would be diverged earlier in FPPS evolutionary history than AnAnPB and NPB.Some AAnPB and NPB were closer located in both trees and this suggested that they were the closer relatives than AnAnPB.Combination codon usage in FPPS with phylogenetic analysis,the results indicates that FPPS gene and 16S rRNA gene have similar evolutionary pattern but the former seems to be more reliable and useful in determining the phylogenic and evolutionary relationship between AAnPB and their relatives.This is the first attempt to use a molecular marker beside 16S rRNA gene for studying the phylogeny of AAnPB,and the study may also be helpful in understanding the evolutionary relationship among phototrophic microbes and the trends of photosynthetic genes transfer.FENG Fuying JIAO Nianzhi DU Hailian ZENG Yonghui 2010Acta Oceanologica Sinica2010,29,5:1
14Secure Multigroup Multicast Communication Systems via Intelligent Reflecting Surface显示文摘This paper considers a secure multigroup multicast multiple-input single-output(MISO)communication system aided by an intelligent reflecting surface(IRS).Specifically,we aim to minimize the transmit power at Alice via jointly optimizing the transmit beamformer,artificial noise(AN)vector and phase shifts at the IRS subject to the secrecy rate constraints as well as the unit modulus constraints of IRS phase shifts.To tackle the optimization problem,we first transform it into a semidefinite relaxation(SDR)problem,and then alternately update the transmit beamformer and AN matrix as well as the phase shifts at the IRS.In order to reduce the high computational complexity,we further propose a low-complexity algorithm based on second-order cone programming(SOCP).We decouple the optimization problem into two sub-problems and optimize the transmit beamformer,AN vector and the phase shifts alternately by solving two corresponding SOCP subproblem.Simulation results show that the proposed SDR and SOCP schemes require half or less transmit power than the scheme without IRS,which demonstrates the advantages of introducing IRS and the effectiveness of the proposed methods.Weiping Shi Jiayu Li Guiyang Xia Yuntian Wang Xiaobo Zhou Yonghui Zhang Feng Shu 2021China Communications2021,18,3:1
15Hydrothermal synthesis of hierarchical SnO_(2)nanomaterials for high-efficiency detection of pesticide residue显示文摘Acephate pesticide contamination in agricultural production has caused serious human health problems.Metal oxide semiconductor(MOS)gas sensor can be used as a portable and promising alternative tool for efficiently detection of acephate.In this study,hierarchical assembled SnO_(2)nanosphere,SnO_(2)hollow nanosphere and SnO_2 nanoflower were synthesized respectively as high efficiency sensing materials to build rapid and selective acephate pesticide residues sensors.The morphologies of different SnO_(2)3 D nanostructures were characterized by various material characterization technology.The sensitive performance test results of the 3 D SnO_(2)nanomaterials towards acephate show that hollow nanosphere SnO_(2)based sensor displayed preferable sensitivity,selectivity,and rapid response(9 s)properties toward acephate at the optimal working temperature(300℃).This SnO_(2)hollow nanosphere based gas sensor represents a useful tool for simple and highly effective monitoring of acephate pesticide residues in food and environment.According to the characterization results,particularly Brunauer-Emmett-Teller(BET)and Ultraviolet-Visible Spectroscopy(UV-vis),the obvious and fast response can be attributed to the mesoporous hollow nanosphere structure and appropriate band gap of SnO_2 hollow nanosphere.Haijie Cai Xiaopeng Qiao Meilian Chen Dongsheng Feng Abdulaziz AAlghamdi Fahad A.Alharthi Yingjie Pan Yong Zhao Yongheng Zhu Yonghui Deng 2021Chinese Chemical Letters2021,32,4:1

17Eupalinolide B inhibits hepatic carcinoma by inducing ferroptosis and ROS-ER-JNK pathway显示文摘Primary hepatic carcinoma is a common malignant tumor.The classic molecular targeted drug sorafenib is costly and is only effective for some patients.Therefore,it is of great clinical significance to search for new molecular targeted drugs.Eupalinolide B(EB)from Eupatorium lindleyanum DC.is used to treat chronic tracheitis in clinical practice.However,the role of EB in hepatic carcinoma is unknown.In this study,we first measure the effect of EB on tumor growth in a xenograft model and PDX model.The cell proliferation and migration are also detected in human hepatocarcinoma cell lines(SMMC-7721 and HCCLM3).Then,we investigate cell cycle,cell apoptosis,cell necrosis,cell autophagy,and ferroptosis by flow cytometry,western blot analysis and electron microscopy.The results demonstrate that EB exerts anti-proliferative activity in hepatic carcinoma by blocking cell cycle arrest at S phase and inducing ferroptosis mediated by endoplasmic reticulum(ER)stress,as well as HO-1 activation.When HO-1 is inhibited,EB-induced cell death and ER protein expression are rescued.The migration-related mechanism consists of activation of the ROS-ER-JNK signaling pathway and is not connected to ferroptosis.In summary,we first discover that EB inhibits cell proliferation and migration in hepatic carcinoma,and thus EB is a promising anti-tumor compound that can be used for hepatic carcinoma.Yonghui Zhang Haoyang Zhang Jinage Mu Meiyue Han Zhihao Cao Feng Dong Tingting Wang Lian Pan Wujing Luo Jiaxin Li Huan Liu Lishan Jin Wenxuan Ding Yong Wei Xuesong Deng Dan Liu Xiuzhen He Yi Pang Xiao Mu Zhongjun Wu Dilong Chen 2022Acta Biochimica et Biophysica Sinica2022,54,7:1

19Current-limiting Characteristics of a Modified Flux-coupling Type Superconducting Fault Current Limiter and Its Effects on the Transient Stability of a Multi-machine Power System显示文摘A modified flux-coupling type superconducting fault current limiter(SFCL)is proposed here for suppressing fault currents.The modified SFCL consists of a coupling transformer,an yttrium barium copper oxide(YBCO)pancake coil,and a controlled switch.By flexibly adjusting the controlled switch’s contact states based on the system operational conditions,the coupling transformer’s primary inductance as well as the YBCO coil’s normal-state resistance are incorporated into the main system for current limitation.Because the modified SFCL has the advantages of resistive and inductive SFCLs,it may improve the power system’s transient behavior.Hence,the SFCL’s effect on the transient stability of a multi-machine power system was also theoretically investigated.Further,simulations were conducted for accessing the SFCL’s performance characteristics under different fault conditions.The results show that using the proposed SFCL can effectively restrain the increased fault current and improve the bus voltage sag;meanwhile,the imitated multi-machine system’s power-angle oscillation can be obviously reduced.Yonghui He Langheng Cao Feng Zheng 2021Chinese Journal of Electrical Engineering2021,7,2:0
20Porous 2D CuO nanosheets for efficient triethylamine detection at low temperature显示文摘The freshness of seafood can be judged by detecting the concentration of triethylamine(TEA). In this work, 2D Cu O porous nanosheets(Cu O PNs) were prepared by a graphene oxide template method and their particle sizes were regulated by changing the calcination temperature. Their structure, morphology and gas sensing performances were investigated by various characterization methods. The response(Rg/Ra) of the gas sensor based on Cu O PNs calcined at 700oC was as high as 440-100 ppm TEA at the operating temperature of 40 ℃. The detection limit was as low as 0.25 ppm. In addition, the gas sensor has good selectivity and stability. The excellent TEA sensitivity is mainly resulted from the appropriate particle size and loose porous framework.
