The HuangZaoSi Maize Genome Provides Insights into Genomic Variation and Improvement History of Maize显示文摘Maize is a globally important crop that was a classic model plant for genetic studies. Here, we report a 2.2 Gb draft genome sequence of an elite maize line, HuangZaoSi (HZS). Hybrids bred from HZS-improved lines (HILs) are planted in more than 60% of maize fields in China. Proteome clustering of six completed sequeneed maize genomes show that 638 proteins fall into 264 HZS-specific gene families with the majority of contributions from tandem duplication events. Resequencing and comparative analysis of 40 HZSrelated lines reveals the breeding history of HILs. More than 60% of identified selective sweeps were clustered in identity.by.descent conserved regions, and yield-related genes/QTLs were enriched in HZS characteristic selected regions. Furthermore, we dem on strated that HZS-specific family genes were not uniformly distributed in the genome but enriched in improvement/function.related genomic regions. This study provides an important and novel resource for maize genome research and expands our knowledge on the breadth of genomic variation and improvement history of maize.Chunhui Li Wei Song Yingfeng Luo Shenghan Gao Ruyang Zhang Zi Shi Xiaqing Wang Ronghuan Wang Fengge Wang Jidong Wang Yanxin Zhao Aiguo Su Shuai Wang Xin Li Meijie Luo Shuaishuai Wang Yunxia Zhang Jianrong Ge Xinyu Tan Ye Yuan Xiaochun Bi Hang He Jianbing Yan Yuandong Wang Songnian Hu Jiuran Zhao 2019Molecular Plant2019,12,3:15
A human circulating immune cell landscape in aging and COVID-19显示文摘Age-associated changes in immune cells have been linked to an increased risk for infection. However,a global and detailed characterization of the changes that human circulating immune cells undergo with age is lacking. Here,we combined scRNA-seq,mass cytometry and sCATAC-seq to compare immune cell types in peripheral blood collected from young and old subjects and patients with COVID-19.We found that the immune cell landscape was reprogrammed with age and was characterized by T cell polarization from naive and memory cells to effector, cytotoxic, exhausted and reg-ulatory cells, along with increased late natural killer cells,age-associated B cells, inflammatory monocytes and age-associated dendritic cells. In addition, the expression of genes, which were implicated in coron-avirus susceptibility, was upregulated in a cell subtype-specific manner with age.Notably,COVID-19 promoted age-induced immune cell polarization and gene expression related to inflammation and cellular senes-cence.Therefore,these findings suggest that a dysreg-ulated immune system and increased gene expression associated with SARS-CoV-2 susceptibility may at least partially account for COVID-19 vulnerability in the elderly.Yingfeng Zheng Xiuxing Liu Wenqing Le Lihui Xie He Li Wen Wen Si Wang Shuai Ma Zhaohao Huang Jinguo Ye Wen Shi Yanxia Ye Zunpeng Liu Moshi Song Weiqi Zhang Jing-Dong J.Han Juan Carlos lzpisua Belmonte Chuanle Xiao Jing Qu Hongyang Wang Guang-Hui Liu Wenru Su 2020Protein & Cell2020,11,10:10
Numerical Simulation for Damping-Controlled Deployment of Z-Folded Inflatable Tube显示文摘The damping-controlled deployment technology of flexible Z-folded inflatable tube is one of the key technologies of space inflatable structures.Constraint failure between couple nodes is proposed to simulate the damping-controlled deployment. And the equation of constraint failure is established.Inflation process of Z-folded tube is simulated with control volume method.Compared with uncontrolled method,it is indicated that the new method can effectively solve the disordered deployment problem of the slender Z-folded inflatable tube.By analyzing the displacement of the apical of the folded tube with different constraint forces during deployment process, the concept of effective constraint force is proposed. In the effective region of constraint force, the folded tube deploys with little retraction and fluctuation.Otherwise,The flexible folded tube would deploy disorderly or even cannot deploy. The simulation method and numerical results have a theoretical and instructive significance to the research on the space inflatable structures.Yu Li Zhan Yanan Shi Yingfeng Zhao Xiaoshun Liu Xin 2017Transactions of Nanjing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics2017,34,4:2
Wellbore stability analysis of layered shale based on the modified Mogi-Coulomb criterion显示文摘Borehole instability was frequently encountered during shale gas drilling. Most conventional models are not applicable to layered formation's wellbore stability analysis on account of anisotropic strength characteristic. In this study,an empirical equation for predicting anisotropic strength was implemented in the Mogi–Coulomb criterion to describe variations of cohesive strength and friction angle of shale formations.A collapse pressure model and its appropriate solution method for layered shale formations were proposed. The impact of different strength criteria and rock anisotropy type on rock strength and collapse pressure was investigated. The analysis indicated that the predicted strength of our modified criterion was usually higher than the weak plane failure criteria. The collapse pressure calculated by the modified Mogi–Coulomb criterion was lower than the weakplane failure criteria.Furthermore,it was more consistent with real mud weight.Additionally, the anisotropy type of rock notably influences wellbore stability.More significant anisotropy coefficients correspond to higher strengths, which results in smaller collapse pressure values.Improper anisotropy coefficients can over-or underpredict the collapse pressure.Reasonable estimates of collapse pressure of anisotropic rocks can be made through the modified Mogi–Coulomb criterion using limited experimental data and the anisotropy rock type.Xu Yang Xiangchao Shi Yingfeng Meng Xiaoyong Xie 2020Petroleum2020,6,3:1
Confined compressive strength model of rock for drilling optimization显示文摘The confined compressive strength(CCS)plays a vital role in drilling optimization. On the basis of Jizba's experimental results,a new CCS model considering the effects of the porosity and nonlinear characteristics with increasing confining pressure has been developed.Because the confining pressure plays a fundamental role in determining the CCS of bottom-hole rock and because the theory of Terzaghi's effective stress principle is founded upon soil mechanics, which is not suitable for calculating the confining pressure in rock mechanics, the double effective stress theory, which treats the porosity as a weighting factor of the formation pore pressure,is adopted in this study. The new CCS model combined with the mechanical specific energy equation is employed to optimize the drilling parameters in two practical wells located in Sichuan basin,China, and the calculated results show that they can be used to identify the inefficient drilling situations of underbalanced drilling(UBD)and overbalanced drilling(OBD).Xiangchao Shi Yingfeng Meng Gao Li a Jiaxue Li Zuwen Tao Shandong Wei 2015Petroleum2015,1,1:1

PET probes beyond ^(18)F-FDG显示文摘During the past several decades, positron emission tomography(PET) has been one of the rapidly growing areas of medical imaging;particularly, its applications in routine oncological practice have been widely recognized. At present,^(18)F-fluorodeoxyglucose(^(18)F-FDG) is the most broadly used PET probe.However,^(18)F-FDG also suffers many limitations. Thus, scientists and clinicians are greatly interested in exploring and developing new PET imaging probes with high affinity and specificity. In this review,we briefly summarize the representative PET probes beyond ^(18)F-FDG that are available for patients imaging in three major clinical areas(oncology, neurology and cardiology),and we also discuss the feasibility and trends in developing new PET probes for personalized medicine.Lei Jiang Yingfeng Tu Hongcheng Shi Zhen Cheng 2014The Journal of Biomedical Research2014,28,6:0
The Tianlai Cylinder Pathfinder array: System functions and basic performance analysis显示文摘The Tianlai Cylinder Pathfinder is a radio interferometer array designed to test techniques for 21 cm intensity mapping in the post-reionization Universe, with the ultimate aim of mapping the large scale structure and measuring cosmological parameters such as the dark energy equation of state. Each of its three parallel cylinder reflectors is oriented in the north-south direction, and the array has a large field of view.As the Earth rotates, the northern sky is observed by drift scanning. The array is located in Hongliuxia,a radio-quiet site in Xinjiang, and saw its first light in September 2016.In this first data analysis paper for the Tianlai cylinder array,we discuss the sub-system qualification tests, and present basic system performance obtained from preliminary analysis of the commissioning observations during 2016-2018.We show typical interferometric visibility data, from which we derive the actual beam profile in the east-west direction and the frequency band-pass response. We describe also the calibration process to determine the complex gains for the array elements, either using bright astronomical point sources,or an artificial on site calibrator source, and discuss the instrument response stability, crucial for transit interferometry.Based on this analysis,we find a system temperature of about 90 K,and we also estimate the sensitivity of the array.JiXia Li ShiFan Zuo FengQuan Wu YouGang Wang JuYong Zhang ShiJie Sun YiDong Xu ZiJie Yu Reza Ansari YiChao Li Albert Stebbins Peter Timbie YanPing Cong JingChao Geng Jie Hao QiZhi Huang JianBin Li Rui Li DongHao Liu YingFeng Liu Tao Liu John PMarriner ChenHui Niu Ue-Li Pen Jeffery BPeterson HuLi Shi Lin Shu YaFang Song HaiJun Tian GuiSong Wang QunXiong Wang RongLi Wang WeiXia Wang Xin Wang KaiFeng Yu Jiao Zhang BoQin Zhu JiaLu Zhu XueLei Chen 2020Science China(Physics,Mechanics & Astronomy)2020,63,12:0
