| 3 | Tectonothermal Records in Migmatite-Like Rocks of the Guandi Complex in Zhoukoudian, Beijing: Implications for Late Neoarchean to Proterozoic Tectonics of the North China Craton显示文摘Migmatite-like rocks transformed from strongly metamorphosed and deformed enclavebearing felsic plutons usually make people confuse with the true migmatites and mistake in interpretation of their petrogenesis and tectonic implications. Here we report a suite of rocks that have long been called as migmatites from the Guandi complex in Zhoukoudian region, southwest of Beijing. The rocks are dominated by felsic gneisses with garnet-free amphibolites. Field occurrence, petrography and geochemistry indicate that the felsic gneisses and amphibolites were metamorphosed from protoliths of intermediate-acid and basic igneous rocks, respectively. New LA-ICP-MS zircon U-Pb dating and geothermobarometry study further reveal that precursor magmas of the two types of rocks were emplaced at 2.54–2.56 Ga and the rocks subsequently underwent medium P/T-type metamorphism with upper amphibolite facies conditions of 0.55–0.90 GPa and 670–730 ℃ at ~2.48–2.50 Ga. Geochemically, precursor magmas of the amphibolites were suggested to be derived from an enriched lithospheric mantle source in continental arc setting, and those of the felsic gneisses are characterized by tonalitic to trondhjemitic magmas that are usually considered to be generated by partial melting of hydrated, thickened metamorphosed mafic crust with garnet as residues, suggesting that the rock associations are not of true migmatites but migmatite-like rocks. | 5 | The effect of Fe-Mn minerals and seawater interface and enrich-ment mechanism of ore-forming elements of polymetallic crusts and nodules from the South China Sea显示文摘Ferromanganese crusts and nodules are important submarine mineral resources that contain various metal elements with significant economic value. In this study, polymetallic crusts and nodules obtained from the South China Sea(SCS) were determined by using X-ray power diffraction(XRD), Raman spectroscopy(RS), Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy(FTIR), and X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy(XPS) to systematically investigate and analyze the mineralogical and spectral characteristics of the Fe-Mn minerals. XRD measurements revealed that the SCS polymetallic crusts and nodules were composed of vernadite, quartz, and plagioclase. The nodules also contained todorokite. The Fe-phase minerals of the SCS crusts and nodules were composed of amorphous Fe oxide/hydroxide, and the Mn-and Fe-phases minerals exhibited relatively poor degrees of crystallization. FTIR results showed that the Fe-Mn minerals in the crusts and nodules included a large number of surface hydroxyl groups. These surface hydroxyl groups contained protons that could provide reactive sites for complexation of ore-forming elements in seawater. XPS results indicated that the surfaces of the Fe-Mn minerals mainly contained Fe, Mn, and O. Fe was present in the trivalent oxidation state, while Mn, which may contain several bivalent oxidation state, was present in the tetravalent and trivalent oxidation states. The SCS polymetallic crusts and nodules were compared with Pacific seamount crusts, and results showed that the surface hydroxyl(-OH) groups of the SCS crusts and nodules numbered more than the lattice oxygen(O^(2-)). But the lattice oxygen of Pacific seamount crusts numbered more than the surface hydroxyl groups. This characteristic indicated that the degree of crystallization of Fe-Mn minerals from the Pacific Ocean was higher than that of minerals from the South China Sea. | 7 | Direct site-specific treatment of skin cancer using doxorubicin-loaded nanofibrous membranes显示文摘Doxorubicin(DOX) is widely used in cancer therapy. However, its application is sometimes limited by its adverse cardiotoxicity and delivery pathways. In our study, we prepared a topical implantable delivery device for controlled drug release and site-specific treatment. The core region consisted of poly(lactic co-glycolic acid) and poly-caprolactone, whereas the shell region was composed of cross-linked gelatin.DOX was enclosed in the core region of a core-shell nanofiber obtained by electrospinning. This implantable delivery device was implanted on the top of the melanoma in a mouse model, which had shown a DOX-controlled release profile with sustained and sufficient local concentration against melanoma growth in mice with negligible side effects. Compared with the traditional intravenous administration,the implantable device allows precisely localized treatment and therefore can reduce the dose, decrease the injection frequency, and ensure antitumor efficacy associated with lower side effects to normal tissues. | 13 | Measurement of air exchange rates in different indoor environments using continuous CO_2 sensors显示文摘A new air exchange rate(AER) monitoring method using continuous CO 2 sensors was developed and validated through both laboratory experiments and field studies.Controlled laboratory simulation tests were conducted in a 1-m 3 environmental chamber at different AERs(0.1-10.0 hr 1).AERs were determined using the decay method based on box model assumptions.Field tests were conducted in classrooms,dormitories,meeting rooms and apartments during 2-5 weekdays using CO 2 sensors coupled with data loggers.Indoor temperature,relative humidity(RH),and CO 2 concentrations were continuously monitored while outdoor parameters combined with on-site climate conditions were recorded.Statistical results indicated that good laboratory performance was achieved:duplicate precision was within 10%,and the measured AERs were 90%-120% of the real AERs.Average AERs were 1.22,1.37,1.10,1.91 and 0.73 hr 1 in dormitories,air-conditioned classrooms,classrooms with an air circulation cooling system,reading rooms,and meeting rooms,respectively.In an elderly particulate matter exposure study,all the homes had AER values ranging from 0.29 to 3.46 hr 1 in fall,and 0.12 to 1.39 hr 1 in winter with a median AER of 1.15. | Yan You Can Niu Jian Zhou Yating Liu Zhipeng Bai Jiefeng Zhang Fei He Nan Zhang | 2012 | Journal of Environmental Sciences2012,24,4: | 2 |

| 18 | Isolated ultrasmall Bi nanosheets for efficient CO_(2)-to-formate electroreduction显示文摘Electrochemical reduction of CO_(2) to valuable formate as liquid fuel is a promising way to alleviate the greenhouse effect.The edge active sites in bismuth(Bi)nanosheets play a critical role in the electrochemical reduction of CO_(2) into formate,which enable the operation of CO_(2) reduction with high cathodic energy efficiency,especially under large current densities of≥200 mA/cm^(2).However,the undesirable reconstruction of small Bi nanosheets into large nanosheets leads to the decreasing of edge active sites during electrocatalysis.Here we report stable isolated ultrasmall bismuth nanosheets-synthesized by in-situ electrochemical transformation of ligands covered bismuth vanadate-on silver nanowires as an efficient electrocatalyst for CO_(2)-to-formate reduction.The cooperative electrocatalyst achieves a formate current density of 186 mA/cm^(2) and a cathodic energy efficiency of 75%for formate,which is the only best compared to the literature results.Operand。Raman and morphologic measurements demonstrate that the excellent energy utilization of the electrocatalyst is originated from the rich edge active sites with Bi-O species of the ultrasmall Bi nanosheets. | Jinze Liu Yuhang Li Yating Wang Chuqian Xiao Miaomiao Liu Xiaodong Zhou Hao Jiang Chunzhong Li | 2022 | Nano Research2022,15,2: | 1 |
