3Deformation control of asymmetric floor heave in a deep rock roadway:A case study显示文摘In order to control asymmetric floor heave in deep rock roadways and deformation around the surrounding rock mass after excavation, in this paper we discuss the failure mechanism and coupling control countermeasures using the finite difference method(FLAC3D) combined with comparative analysis and typical engineering application at Xingcun coal mine. It is indicated by the analysis that the simple symmetric support systems used in the past led to destruction of the deep rock roadway from the key zone and resulted in the deformation of asymmetric floor heave in the roadway. Suitable reinforced support countermeasures are proposed to reduce the deformation of the floor heave and the potential risk during mining. The application shows that the present support technology can be used to better environmental conditions. 4Streamflow responses to climate change and LUCC in a semi-arid watershed of Chinese Loess Plateau显示文摘Climate change and Land Use/Cover Change(LUCC) have been identified as two primary factors affecting watershed hydrological regime. This study analyzed the trends of streamflow, precipitation, air temperature and potential evapotranspiration(PET) from 1962 to 2008 in the Jihe watershed in northwestern Loess Plateau of China using the Mann-Kendall test. The streamflow responses to climate change and LUCC were quantified independently by the elasticity method. The results show that the streamflow presented a dramatic decline with a turning point occurred in 1971, while the precipitation and PET did not change significantly. The results also show that the temperature rose markedly especially since 1990 s with an approximate increase of 1.74°C over the entire research period(1962–2008). Using land use transition matrix, we found that slope cropland was significantly converted to terrace between 1970 s and 1990 s and that forest cover increased relatively significantly because of the Grain for Green Project after 2000. The streamflow reduction was predominantly caused by LUCC and its contribution reached up to 90.2%, while the contribution of climate change to streamflow decline was only 9.8%. 6Electrochemical reduction of graphene oxide films:Preparation,characterization and their electrochemical properties显示文摘Graphene oxide (GO) film was electrochemically reduced by a cyclic voltammetry technique in 6 mol L-1 KOH aqueous solution.Electrochemically reduced graphene oxide (ER-GO) film was characterized by X-ray diffraction,X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy,atomic force microscopy,and Raman spectroscopy.The oxygen content (with the O/C atomic ratio of 1.29%) was significantly decreased after electrochemical reduction.The ER-GO film exhibited a specific capacitance of 152 F g-1 at the current density of 5 A g-1 and a good rate capability.Furthermore,the ER-GO film showed an excellent cycling ability.The capacitance retention remained 99% after 3000 cycles at the current density of 10 A g-1.ZHANG Xiong ZHANG DaCheng CHEN Yao SUN XianZhong MA YanWei 2012Chinese Science Bulletin2012,57,23:6

10Study on alkali mechanical activation for recovering rare earth from waste fluorescent lamps显示文摘Recycling of rare earth from waste fluorescent lamps is becoming increasingly important in future sustainable development. However, cerium and terbium are usually difficult to recover due to the stable spinel structure. In the research, alkali mechanical activation was innovatively used to pretreat the waste phosphors for recovering rare earths. The effect of alkali mechanical activation on the structural changes of waste phosphors was explored using X-ray diffraction(XRD) and Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy(FTIR). Meanwhile, the effects of different parameters including milling speed, activation time,and amount of alkali on the leaching rates of rare earth were investigated. The rare earth elements recovery rates are observed to increase rapidly, particularly with increases in rotational speed and activation time. Under optimal conditions, the maximum leaching rates of Ce and Tb reach 85.0% and 89.8%,respectively. And the total recovery rates of rare earth reach 95.2%. All the results indicate that alkali mechanical activation can effectively destroy the spinel structure and produce substantial physicochemical changes. 11Multi-Objective Optimization for China's Power Carbon Emission Reduction by 2035显示文摘Low carbon transformation plays an important role in promoting the energy production and consumption revolution. Currently, the power sector of China still faces a series of challenges, such as the overcapacity of coal-fired power, the renewable energy consumption, the new constraints of carbon-emissions, and fragmented power planning. This study develops a multi-objective optimization model to predict the future trend of China power structure by 2035. The key factors such as network, power, load and storage are taken into account. Besides, the technical feasibility, economic rationality and social acceptable constraints are also fully considered. Through planning and optimization, the premise of low carbon transformation is to ensure the continuity of existing policies for removing inefficient assets, and the core is to develop and utilize non-fossil energy on a large scale. Specifically, the capacity of coal-fired power will be attained in the peak in 2025, and the factor will also transfer from main power supplier to main power and energy supplier. Before 2025, the clean replacement of incremental power installation will be completed. In 2035, 92% of new investment comes from non-fossil energy. The economy and competitiveness of wind power and PV(Photovoltaic) power generation are continuously increasing. By 2020, the coal-fired power and the wind power in eastern of China will be parity firstly. In 2025, the cost of PV and wind power will be the same. 12A safe,low-cost and high-efficiency presodiation strategy for pouch-type sodium-ion capacitors with high energy density显示文摘Sodium-ion capacitors(SICs)have attracted appreciable attention in virtue of the higher energy and power densities compared with their rivals,supercapacitors and sodium-ion batteries.Due to the lack of sodium resources in cathode,presodiation is critical for SICs to further augment performances.However,current presodiation strategy utilizes metallic sodium as the presodiation material.In this strategy,assembling/disassembling of half-cells is required,which is dangerous and in creases the time and cost of SIC leading to the restriction of their industrialization and commercialization.Herein we present a safe,low-cost and high-efficiency presodiation strategy by first employing Na_(2)C_(2)O_(4) as the sacrificial salt applied in SICs.Na_(2)C_(2)O_(4) is environmentally friendly and possesses considerably low expenditure.No additional residues remain after sodium extraction ascribed to its'zero dead mass'property.When paired with commercial activated carb on as the cathode and commercial hard carbon as the ano de,the constructed pouch-type SICs exhibit high energy and power densities of 91.7 Wh/kg and 13.1 kW/kg,respectively.This work shows a prospect of realizing the safe and low-cost manufacturing for high-performance SICs commercially.Congkai Sun Xiong Zhang Chen Li Kai Wang Xianzhong Sun Fangyan Liu Zhong-Shuai Wu Yanwei Ma 2022Journal of Energy Chemistry2022,31,1:3
13Carbon-coated Li3VO4 with optimized structure as high capacity anode material for lithium-ion capacitors显示文摘Due to the high capacity,moderate voltage platform,and stable structure,Li3VO4(LVO) has attracted close attention as feasible anode material for lithium-ion capacitor.However,the intrinsic low electronic conductivity and sluggish kinetics of the Li+ insertion process severely impede its practical application in lithium-ion capacitors(LICs).Herein,a carbon-coated Li3VO4(LVO/C) hierarchical structure was prepared by a facial one-step solid-state method.The synthesized LVO/C composite delivers an impressive capacity of 435 mAh/g at 0.07 A/g,remarkable rate capability,and nearly 100% capacity retention after 500 cycles at 0.5 A/g.The superior electrochemical properties of LVO/C composite materials are attributed to the improved conductivity of electron and stable carbon/LVO composite structures.Besides,the LIC device based on activated carbon(AC) cathode and optimal LVO/C as anode reveals a maximum energy density of 110 Wh/kg and long-term cycle life.These results provide a potential way for assembling the advanced hybrid lithium-ion capacitors.Wenjie Liu Xiong Zhang Chen Li Kai Wang Xianzhong Sun Yanwei Ma 2020Chinese Chemical Letters2020,31,9:2

15Control system for cryogenic permanent magnet undulator(CPMU)of high energy photon source(HEPS)显示文摘Background High energy photon source(HEPS)is the fourth-generation light source,which uses a large number of highperformance insertion devices to generate synchrotron radiation.The control system is an important part of the insertion device(ID).Purpose Cryogenic permanent magnet undulator(CPMU)is one kind of IDs that works in liquid nitrogen temperature and ultra-high vacuum environment,and its control system is more difficult and complex than in-air ID.The design of the control system for CPMU will be introduced in detail.Method The sub-systems include high-precision magnetic gap control,safety protection,measurement and compensation of magnetic gap at cryogenic temperature and cryogenic temperature monitoring.Mature,reliable,stable technical schemes are designed to meet the technical specifications of sub-systems.Results The experiment results show that the magnetic gap motion accuracy can be controlled within 0.2–0.3μm under the step size of 1μm.The safety protection system has been tested in turn,and the predetermined protection can be achieved.The average value of magnetic gap cold contraction is 1.512 mm measured by optical micrometer,and the compensation is realized by software.The average temperature of the main magnet structure measured by the temperature sensors is 81.0 K,and the temperature gradient is 0.7 K/m.The temperature monitoring is reliable and stable.Conclusion The CPMU control system which is based on EPICS has been successfully applied to the CPMU prototype,and the test results have met the design specifications.Shutao Zhao Jianshe Cao Huihua Lu Xiaoyu Li Shuchen Sun Yajun Sun Xiangzhen Zhang Lei Zhang Yuhui Li Zhiqiang Li Wan Chen Lingling Gong Qing Guo Keyun Gong Yongsheng Huang Yanwei Yang Yufeng Yang 2021Radiation Detection Technology and Methods2021,5,1:2

17Accordion-like titanium carbide(MXene) with high crystallinity as fast intercalative anode for high-rate lithium-ion capacitors显示文摘Two-dimensional transition-metal carbide materials,or MXenes,have attracted great attention in energy-related fields due to their excellent electrical conductivity,and large interlayer spacing.In this work,a simple method involving combustion synthesis and acid treatment to prepare accordion-like Ti3C2Tx MXene with open structure and high crystallinity,which is employed as anode materials in lithium-ion capacitors.Due to the improved ion diffusion and electron transportation of Ti3C2Tx anode,the mismatched electrode kinetics can be largely alleviated to acquire an enhanced power perfo rmance.The assembled Ti3C2Tx-based lithium-ion capacitors provides a maximum energy density of 106 Wh/kg and still exhibits a superior energy density of 79 Wh/kg even at a higher power density of 5.2 kW/kg,which provides a new platform for MXene materials with porous and crystalline features toward both high energy and power densities.Chen Li Xiong Zhang Kai Wang Xianzhong Sun Yanwei Ma 2020Chinese Chemical Letters2020,31,4:2
