2Does an extended mediastinal lymphadenectomy improve outcome after R0 resection in lung cancer?显示文摘Objective: This retrospective study was conducted to investigate the impact of more extended mediastinal lymphadenectomy on the outcome of lung cancer patients treated with R0 resection.Methods: During the investigation period, 325 lung cancer cases were enlisted and 278 cases entered the analysis. The patients were divided into Control group(n=116) and Research group(n=162) according to the different extents of mediastinal lymph node clearance at different time periods. Three major parameters were retrospectively assessed to compare the quality of surgical care: extent of lymph node clearance, resection volume, and postoperative recovery process and common complications. Comparison of the outcome between two groups was carried out.Results: Research group showed a significant quality improvement of lymphadenectomy, such as more mediastinal node stations investigated(more than 3 N2 stations investigated: Research group, 90.7% vs. Control group, 55.2%; P=0.001) and more nodes collection(total nodes 26.1±10.0 vs. 19.1±8.3, P=0.000; N2 nodes 15.5±7.2 vs. 9.8±5.6, P=0.000). However, overall survival(OS) and disease-free survival(DFS) were not significantly different either between two groups(5-year OS: Control group, 56.4±4.6% vs. Research group, 62.6±4.3%; P=0.271) or between subgroups from stage I to IIIa. 3Sonication-assisted dispersion of carbon nanotubes in aqueous solutions of the anionic surfactant SDBS:The role of sonication energy显示文摘Sonication is a powerful technique to promote the dispersion of carbon nanotubes(CNTs) and enhance their solubility;this is necessary for CNT applications,especially in the biochemical and biomedical fields.In this study,batch experiments were conducted to evaluate the role of sonication energy on the dispersion of CNTs in the presence of a widely used anionic surfactant,sodium dodecylbenzene sulfonate(SDBS).It was observed that the concentration of dispersed CNTs in the SDBS solution depended on the sonication energy,but not the sonication time or output power of the sonicator alone.The amount of dispersed CNTs was positively correlated with the concentrations of SDBS and CNTs,and the length of the CNTs.The promotion of oxygen-containing functional groups on the dispersed CNTs was observed at relatively low sonication energies.The optimal energy,i.e.the minimum energy supplied by sonication to achieve a saturated suspension of dispersed CNTs in the SDBS solution,was CNT diameter-dependent,because of the larger vdW forces between tubes of smaller diameter.An exponential decay curve was constructed for the optimal energy values as a function of the outer CNT diameter,to assist in determining the energy needed to disperse CNTs.YANG Kun YI ZiLi JING QingFeng YUE RenLiang JIANG Wei LIN DaoHui 2013Chinese Science Bulletin2013,58,18:5
4Origin of inhomogeneity in spark plasma sintered bismuth antimony telluride thermoelectric nanocomposites显示文摘Anisotropy and inhomogeneity are ubiquitous in spark plasma sintered thermoelectric devices.However,the origin of inhomogeneity in thermoelectric nanocomposites has rarely been investigated so far.Herein,we systematically study the impact of inhomogeneity in spark plasma sintered bismuth antimony telluride(BiSbTe)thermoelectric nanocomposites fabricated from solution-synthesized nanoplates.The figure of merit can reach 1.18,which,however,can be overestimated to 1.88 without considering the inhomogeneity.Our study reveals that the inhomogeneity in thermoelectric properties is attributed to the non-uniformity of porosity,textures and elemental distribution from electron backscatter diffraction and energy-dispersive spectroscopy characterizations.This finding suggests that the optimization of bulk material homogeneity should also be actively pursued in any future thermoelectric material research.Enzheng Shi Shuang Cui Nicholas Kempf Qingfeng Xing Thomas Chasapis Huazhang Zhu Zhe Li Je-Hyeong Bahk G.Jeffrey Snyder Yanliang Zhang Renkun Chen Yue Wu 2020Nano Research2020,13,5:2

12An Image Steganography Algorithm Based on Quantization Index Modulation Resisting Scaling Attacks and Statistical Detection显示文摘In view of the fact that the current adaptive steganography algorithms are difficult to resist scaling attacks and that a method resisting scaling attack is only for the nearest neighbor interpolation method,this paper proposes an image steganography algorithm based on quantization index modulation resisting both scaling attacks and statistical detection.For the spatial image,this paper uses the watermarking algorithm based on quantization index modulation to extract the embedded domain.Then construct the embedding distortion function of the new embedded domain based on S-UNIWARD steganography,and use the minimum distortion coding to realize the embedding of the secret messages.Finally,according to the embedding modification amplitude of secret messages in the new embedded domain,the quantization index modulation algorithm is applied to realize the final embedding of secret messages in the original embedded domain.The experimental results show that the algorithm proposed is robust to the three common interpolation attacks including the nearest neighbor interpolation,the bilinear interpolation and the bicubic interpolation.And the average correct extraction rate of embedded messages increases from 50%to over 93% after 0.5 times-fold scaling attack using the bicubic interpolation method,compared with the classical steganography algorithm S-UNIWARD.Also the algorithm proposed has higher detection resistance than the original watermarking algorithm based on quantization index modulation.Yue Zhang Dengpan Ye Junjun Gan Zhenyu Li Qingfeng Cheng 2018Computers, Materials & Continua2018,,7:0

14Using a pressure controlled vortex design method to control secondary flow losses in a turbine stage显示文摘A turbine design method based on pressure controlled vortex design(PCVD) is presented to design a small-size turbine stage.Contrary to the conventional controlled vortex design(CVD)method,the main objective of PCVD is to control the axial velocity and radial pressure in the stator–rotor gap.Through controlling axial velocity,the PCVD establishes a direct tie to meridional stream surface.Thus stream surface variation is induced,resulting in a large secondary flow vortex covering the full blade passage in the respective stator and rotor.This secondary flow vortex could be dedicated to control the secondary flow mitigation and migration.Through radial pressure,the PCVD is also associated with the macroscopic driving force of fluid motion.So the better beneft of CVD can be achieved.The core concept behind PCVD is to mainly control the spanwise pressure gradient by altering profle loading at various spanwise locations.Therefore not only the local profle lift is affected,but also the resulting throat widths,stage reaction degree,and massflow rate are altered or redistributed respectively.With the PCVD method,the global stage effciency is increased successfully while the mass flow rate keeps constant.Additionally there is no endwall shape optimization,stacking optimization,or pitch/chord variations,concentrating solely on varying blade profle deflections and stagger.Deng Qingfeng Zheng Qun Yue Guoqiang Zhang Hai Luo Mingcong 2013Chinese Journal of Aeronautics2013,26,5:0
15INCloud:integrated neuroimaging cloud for data collection,management,analysis and clinical translations显示文摘Background Neuroimaging techniques provide rich and accurate measures of brain structure and function,and have become one of the most popular methods in mental health and neuroscience research.Rapidly growing neuroimaging research generates massive amounts of data,bringing new challenges in data collection,large-scale data management,efficient computing requirements and data mining and analyses.Aims To tackle the challenges and promote the application of neuroimaging technology in clinical practice,we developed an integrated neuroimaging cloud(INCloud).INCloud provides a full-stack solution for the entire process of large-scale neuroimaging data collection,management,analysis and clinical applications.Methods INCloud consists of data acquisition systems,a data warehouse,automatic multimodal image quality check and processing systems,a brain feature library,a high-performance computing cluster and computer-aided diagnosis systems(CADS)for mental disorders.A unique design of INCloud is the brain feature library that converts the unit of data management from image to image features such as hippocampal volume.Connecting the CADS to the scientific database,INCloud allows the accumulation of scientific data to continuously improve the accuracy of objective diagnosis of mental disorders.Results Users can manage and analyze neuroimaging data on INCloud,without the need to download them to the local device.INCloud users can query,manage,analyze and share image features based on customized criteria.Several examples of'mega-analyses'based on the brain feature library are shown.Conclusions Compared with traditional neuroimaging acquisition and analysis workflow,INCloud features safe and convenient data management and sharing,reduced technical requirements for researchers,high-efficiency computing and data mining,and straightforward translations to clinical service.The design and implementation of the system are also applicable to imaging research platforms in other fields.Qingfeng Li Lijuan Jiang Kaini Qiao Yang Hu Bing Chen Xiaochen Zhang Yue Ding Zhi Yang Chunbo Li 2021General Psychiatry2021,34,6:0
16Degradation modeling of degradable copolymers for biomimetic scaffolds显示文摘Biomimetic scaffolds provide a suitable growth environment for tissue engineering and demonstrate good potential for application in biomedical fields.Different-sized copolymerized biomimetic scaffolds degrade differently,and the degradation rate is affected by the copolymerization ratio.The study of the degradation property is the foundational research necessary for realizing individualized biomimetic scaffold design.The degradation performance of polyesters with different copolymerization ratios has been widely reported;however,the modeling of this performance has been rarely reported.In this research,the degradation of copolymers was studied with multi-scale modeling,in which the copolymers were dispersed in a cellular manner,the chain break time was simulated,and the chain selection was based on the Monte Carlo(MC)algorithm.The probability model of the copolymer's chain break position was established as a//roulette,/model,whose probability values were estimated by the calculation of the potential energy difference at different chain break positions by molecular dynamics that determined the position of chain shear,thereby fully realizing the simulation of the chain micro-break process.The diffusion of the oligomers was then calculated using the macro diffusion equation,and the degradation process of the copolymer was simulated by three-scale coupling calculations.The calculation results were in good agreement with the experimental data,demonstrating the effectiveness of the proposed method.Taohong ZHANG Yue GAO Lingling ZHU Qingfeng ZENG Ming ZHOU 2020Friction2020,8,3:0

19Modular zonal fluid sampling and pressure testing technology for production well显示文摘To accurately obtain development dynamic data such as zonal pressure and fluid parameters of each oil layer in the late development stage of a high water-cut old oilfield, a modular zonal sampling and testing technology with the characteristics of modularization, full electronic control and rapidity was proposed and developed. Lab testing and on-site testing was carried out. The modular zonal sampling and testing system is composed of 10 functional modules, namely ground control system, downhole power supply module, drainage pump, electronically controlled anchor, electronically controlled packer, electronically controlled sampler, magnetic positioning sub, terminal sub, adapter cable, and quick connector. Indoor tests have confirmed that the performance parameters of each module meet the design requirements. The downhole function modules of the system can withstand pressures up to 35 MPa and temperatures up to 85 ℃. The rubber cylinder of the electronically controlled packer can withstand a pressure difference of more than 10 MPa. The electronically controlled anchor has an anchoring force of greater than 6.9 t, and can be forcibly detached in the event of an accident. The discharge pump has a displacement of 0.8 m;/d and a head of 500 m. The electronically controlled sampler can meet the requirement of taking 500 mL of sample in each of the 3 chambers. Field tests in Jilin Oilfield show that the system can realize rapid isolation and self-check of isolation of a certain production interval downhole, as well as layer-by layer pressure build-up test. The drainage pump can be used to discharge the mixed liquid between the upper and lower packers and near the wellbore to obtain real fluid samples of the tested formation interval. 20Monitoring of steam chamber in steam-assisted gravity drainage based on the temperature sensitivity of oil sand显示文摘Thermosensitivity experiments and simulation calculations were conducted on typical oil sand core samples from Kinosis,Canada to predict the steam chamber development with time-lapse seismic data during the steam-assisted gravity drain-age(SAGD).Using an ultrasonic base made of polyether ether ketone resin instead of titanium alloy can improve the signal en-ergy and signal-to-noise ratio and get clear first arrival;with the rise of temperature,heavy oil changes from glass state(at-34.4℃),to quasi-solid state,and to liquid state(at 49.0℃)gradually;the quasi-solid heavy oil has significant frequency dis-persion.For the sand sample with high oil saturation,its elastic property depends mainly on the nature of the heavy oil,while for the sand sample with low oil saturation,the elastic property depends on the stiffness of the rock matrix.The elastic property of the oil sand is sensitive to temperature noticeably,when the temperature increases from 10℃ to 175℃,the oil sand samples decrease in compressional and shear wave velocities significantly.Based on the experimental data,the quantita-tive relationship between the compressional wave impedance of the oil sand and temperature was worked out,and the tem-perature variation of the steam chamber in the study area was predicted by time-lapse seismic inversion.GAO Yunfeng FAN Ting’en GAO Jinghuai LI Hui DONG Hongchao MA Shigang YUE Qingfeng 2021Petroleum Exploration and Development2021,48,6:0
