| 1 | Anatomical and chemical characteristics associated with lodging resistance in wheat显示文摘Anatomical and chemical characteristics of stems affect lodging in wheat(Triticum aestivum L.) cultivars. Traits associated with lodging resistance, such as plant height, stem strength, culm wall thickness, pith diameter, and stem diameter, were extensively investigated in earlier studies. However, the solid stem trait was rarely considered. In this study, we measured a range of anatomical and chemical characteristics on solid and hollow stemmed wheat cultivars. Significant correlations were detected between resistance to lodging and several anatomical features, including width of mechanical tissue, weight of low internodes, and width of stem walls. Morphological features that gave the best indication of improved lodging resistance were increased stem width, width of mechanical tissue layer, and stem density. Multiple linear regression analysis showed that 99% of the variation in lodging resistance could be explained by the width of the mechanical tissue layer, suggesting that solid stemmed wheat has several anatomical features for increasing resistance to lodging. In addition, microsatellite markers GWM247 and GWM340 were linked to a single solid stem QTL on chromosome 3BL in a population derived from the cross Xinongshixin(solid stem)/Line 3159(hollow stem). | 3 | Effects of stem structure andcell wall components on bending strength in wheat显示文摘Morphological traits, anatomical features, chemical components and bending stress in the stems of three genotypes of wheat (Triticum aestivum L.), namely Xiaoyan54, 8602 and Xiaoyan81, were ex- amined by means of light microscopy coupled with Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FTIR). No- ticeable changes in morphological and anatomical traits were observed, including outer radius of stem, the ratio of stem outer radius to stem wall thickness, various tissue proportions and variations among dif- ferent types of vascular bundles. The results of chemical analysis revealed that Xiaoyan81 had the highest cellulose content in comparison with Xiao- yan54 and 8602, whereas lignin level in Xiaoyan81 was lower than that in 8602 but higher that that in Xiaoyan54. Bending stress analysis demonstrated that Xiaoyan81 may be the main target for identifica- tion, for it had the highest bending stress among the stems of three genotypes. Associated with bending stress, all the results presented here suggested that the ratio of stem wall thickness to its outer radius, schlerenchyma tissue proportion, the average num- ber of big VB per unit and the cellulose content are four important factors affecting the mechanical strength of Xiaoyan81 wheat stems, which can be considered as the key parameters for selecting varie- ties with bending stress. | 4 | Effect of wind field below unmanned helicopter on droplet deposition distribution of aerial spraying显示文摘Wind field is one of the important factors affecting the distribution characteristics of aerial spraying droplet deposition.In order to reveal the impact mechanism of droplet deposition distribution by the wind field below agricultural unmanned helicopter rotor,in this study,the wind field distribution below uniaxial single-rotor electric unmanned helicopter rotor was measured by using a wireless wind speed sensor network measurement system for unmanned helicopter.The effects of wind field in three directions(X,Y,Z)below the rotor on droplet deposition distribution were analyzed with the condition of aerial spraying droplet deposition in rice canopy,and the regression model was established via variance and regression analyses of experiment results.The results showed that,the wind field in Y direction had a significant effect on droplet deposition in effective spray area,the wind field in Z direction had an extremely significant effect on droplet deposition in effective spray area,and the corresponding significance(sig.)values were 0.011 and 0.000.Furthermore,the wind field in Z direction had a significant effect on the penetrability and uniformity of droplet deposition in effective spray area,the corresponding sig.values were 0.025 and 0.011 respectively.The wind speed in Y direction at the edge of effective spray area had a significant effect on droplet drift,the sig.value was 0.021.In addition,the correlation coefficient R of the regression model was 0.869 between droplet deposition in effective spray area and the wind speed in Y and Z directions,and 0.915 between the uniformity of droplet deposition in effective spray area and the maximum wind speed in Z direction.The result revealed the influencing mechanism of the wind field below the rotor of uniaxial single-rotor electric unmanned helicopter on the distribution of aerial spraying droplet deposition.The results can provide guidance for the actual production application of aerial spraying to reduce liquid drift and improve the utilization rate of pesticide. | Chen Shengde Yubin Lan Li Jiyu Zhou Zhiyan Liu Aimin Mao Yuedong | 2017 | International Journal of Agricultural and Biological Engineering2017,10,3: | 25 |

| 6 | Effect of Pouring Process on the Microstructures of Semi-Solid AlSi_7Mg Alloy显示文摘The effect of different pouring temperatures and different pouring heights, the distance between the mouth of the pouring ladle and the top of the mold, on the microstructure of AlSi7Mg alloy have been researched in the paper. When the pouring temperature is close to the liquidus temperature, the primary α-Al in the billets of AlSi7Mg alloy solidified into spherical and nodular fine grains distributed homogeneously. The optimum pouring temperature for semi-solid AlSi7Mg billet with spherical or nodular primary α-Al is 615℃. At the same pouring temperature, the higher the pouring ladle, the more easily the spherical and nodular primary α-Al obtained in the semi-solid AlSi7Mg billet. | 7 | Dissolved organic matter removal using magnetic anion exchange resin treatment on biological effluent of textile dyeing wastewater显示文摘This study investigated the removal of dissolved organic matter(DOM) from real dyeing bio-treatment effluents(DBEs) with the use of a novel magnetic anion exchange resin(NDMP).DOMs in two typical DBEs were fractionized using DAX-8/XAD-4 resin and ultrafiltration membranes. The hydrophilic fractions and the low molecular weight(MW)(<3 kDa) DOM fractions constituted a major portion(>50%) of DOMs for the two effluents. The hydrophilic and low MW fractions of both effluents were the greatest contributors of specific UV254absorbance(SUVA254),and the SUVA254 of DOM fractions decreased with hydrophobicity and MW. Two DBEs exhibited acute and chronic biotoxicities. Both acute and chronic toxicities of DOM fractions increased linearly with the increase of SUVA254 value. Kinetics of dissolved organic carbon(DOC) removal via NDMP treatment was performed by comparing it with that of particle active carbon(PAC). Results indicated that the removal of DOC from DBEs via NDMP was 60%,whereas DOC removals by PAC were lower than 15%. Acidic organics could be significantly removed with the use of NDMP. DOM with large MW in DBE could be removed significantly by using the same means. Removal efficiency of NDMP for DOM decreased with the decrease of MW. Compared with PAC,NDMP could significantly reduce the acute and chronic bio-toxicities of DBEs. | 16 | Origin and Distribution of Groundwater Chemical Fields of the Oilfield in the Songliao Basin,NE China显示文摘There are many factors affecting the chemical characteristics of groundwater in the forming process of groundwater chemical fields, such as freshening due to meteoric water leaching downwards, freshening due to mudstone compaction and water release, concentration due to infiltration and freshening due to dehydration of clay minerals. As a result, the groundwater chemical fields are characterized by lengthwise stages and planar selectivity. The former arouses vertical chemical zonality of groundwater. Five units could be identified downwards in the Songliao basin: (1) freshening zone due to downward-leaching meteoric water, (2) concentration zone due to evaporation near the ground surface, (3) freshening zone due to mudstone compaction and water release, and concentration zone due to compaction and infiltration, (4) freshening zone due to dehydration of clay minerals, and (5) filtration-concentration zone; whereas the latter determines the planar division of groundwater chemical fields: (1) the freshening area due to meteoric water, asymmetrically on the margin of the basin, (2) the freshening area due to mudstone compaction and water release in the central part of the basin, (3) the leaky area, which is a transitional zone, and (4) leakage-evaporation area, which is a concentration zone. | 18 | Risk-based security-constrained economic dispatch in power systems显示文摘Based on a new perspective in coordinating with the traditional'N-1'criteria and system risk,a real-time electricity market model is presented,in which the system risk is employed to model the system’s overall security level.This new model is called the risk-based security-constrained economic dispatch(RB-SCED).Relative to the securityconstrained economic dispatch(SCED)used in the power industry today,the RB-SCED finds more secure and economic operating conditions.It does this by obtaining solutions that achieve a better balance between post-contingency flows on individual branches and the overall system risk.The method exploits the fact that,in a SCED solution,some postcontingency branch flows which exceed their limits impose little risk while other post-contingency branch flows which are within their limits impose significant risk.The RB-SCED softens constraints for the former and hardens constraints for the latter,thus achieving simultaneous improvement in both security and economy.In this work,the basic concept and the mathematical formulation of the RB-SCED model are systematically described.Experimental results on a 9-bus system and the ISO New England actual system have demonstrated the advantages of RB-SCED over SCED. | Qin WANG Aimin YANG Fushuan WEN Jihong LI | 2013 | Journal of Modern Power Systems and Clean Energy2013,1,2: | 8 |
| 19 | An analytical solution to contaminant advection and dispersion through a GCL/AL liner system显示文摘An one-dimensional model for contaminant advection and dispersion through a GCL/AL liner system was developed to analyze the equivalence between a GCL(geosynthetic clay liner) and a CCL(compacted clay liner).The continuity of contaminant concentration and flux at the interface between the GCL and the underlying attenuation liner(AL) are obeyed in the model,and background concentrations in the soil liner are also considered.Based on the assumption that contaminant transport through a GCL was a steady state process,an analytical solution was obtained.Increasing the leachate head from 0.3 m to 10 m results in a reduction of the breakthrough time of benzene by a factor of 2.7.The breakthrough time of benzene increases by a factor of 7.0 when the hydraulic conductivity of GCL decreases by one order of magnitude.The breakthrough curves are more sensitive to the hydraulic conductivities of the GCL and AL(attenuation layer) than to the thickness of the AL.The standard 75 cm CCL can be replaced by a combination of a GCL and a 1.0-4.0 m thickness of AL.The proposed method can be used for preliminary design of GCL composite liners,assessing the equivalence between GCL and CCL,preliminary design of a remediation method for contaminated soils,and evaluating experimental results. | XIE HaiJian LOU ZhangHua CHEN YunMin JIN AiMin CHEN PeiXiong | 2011 | Chinese Science Bulletin2011,56,8: | 8 |
| 20 | Cationic content effects of biodegradable amphoteric chitosan-based flocculants on the flocculation properties显示文摘A series of biodegradable amphoteric chitosan-based flocculants(3-chloro-2-hydroxypropyl trimethyl ammonium chloride(CTA) modified carboxymethyl chitosan,denoted as CMC-CTA) with different substitution degrees of CTA were prepared successfully.The content of carboxymethyl groups in each CMC-CTA sample was kept almost constant.The solubility of the various flocculants showed that,higher cationic content of flocculants caused a better solubility.The flocculation experiments using kaolin suspension as synthetic water at the laboratory scale indicated that the substitution degree of CTA was one of the key factors for the flocculation properties.With the increase of cationic content,the flocculants were demonstrated better flocculation performance and lower dosage requirement.Flocculation kinetics model of particles collisions combining zeta potential and turbidity measurements was employed to investigate the effects of the cationic content of the flocculants on the flocculation properties from the viewpoint of flocculation mechanism in detail.Furthermore,flocculation performance using raw water from Zhenjiang part of Yangtze River at the pilot scale showed the similar effects to those at the laboratory scale. | Zhen Yang Yabo Shang Xin Huang Yichun Chen Yaobo Lu Aimin Chen Yuxiang Jiang Wei Gu Xiaozhi Qian Hu Yang Rongshi Cheng | 2012 | Journal of Environmental Sciences2012,24,8: | 8 |
