2Transcription factor ZmNAC126 plays an important role in transcriptional regulation of maize starch synthesis-related genes显示文摘Maize(Zea mays L.)is one of the most important food crops in the world,and starch is the main component of its endosperm.Transcriptional regulation plays a vital role in starch biosynthesis.However,it is not well understood in maize.We report the identification of the transcription factor ZmNAC126 and its role in regulation of starch synthesis in maize.Transcriptional expression of ZmNAC126 was higher in maize endosperm and kernels than in roots or stems.ZmNAC126 shared a similar expression pattern with starch synthesis genes during seed development,and its expression pattern was also consistent with the accumulation of starch.ZmNAC126 is a typical transcription factor with a transactivation domain between positions 201 and 227 of the amino acid sequence,is located in the nucleus,and binds to CACG repeats in vitro.Yeast one-hybrid assay revealed that ZmNAC126 bound the promoters of ZmGBSSI,ZmSSIIa,ZmSSIV,ZmISA1,and ZmISA2.Transient overexpression of ZmNAC126 in maize endosperm increased the activities of promoters pZmSh2,pZmBt2,pZmGBSSI,pZmSSIIIa,and pZmBT1 but inhibited the activities of pZmISA1 and pZmISA2.ZmNAC126 thus acts in starch synthesis by transcriptionally regulating targeted starch synthesis-related genes in maize kernels.Qianlin Xiao Yayun Wang Hui Li Chunxia Zhang Bin Wei Yongbin Wang Huanhuan Huang Yangping Li Guowu Yu Hanmei Liu Junjie Zhang Yinghong Liu Yufeng Hu Yubi Huang 2021The Crop Journal2021,9,1:5
3First-generation EGFR tyrosine kinase inhibitor therapy in 106 patients with compound EGFR-mutated lung cancer: a single institution’s clinical practice experience显示文摘Background:The antitumour efficacy of tyrosine kinase inhibitors(TKIs)in lung cancer patients with compound epidermal growth factor receptor(EGFR)mutations has not been resolved.Our study summarizes a single institutional experience of first-generation TKI therapy for lung cancers with compound EGFR mutations.Methods:A total of 106 consecutive patients with tumours bearing compound EGFR mutations were identified between January 2012 and May 2016;all patients received first-generation TKI therapy.Deletions in exon 19 and the L858R point mutation in exon 21 were considered common mutations;T790M was considered separately because of its association with TKIs resistances.Any other mutation was defined as a rare mutation.Patients were divided as follows:double common mutations(group A);common plus T790M mutations(group B);common plus rare muta-tions(group C);double rare mutations(group D);and rare plus T790M mutations(group E).A separate group of 115 consecutive patients with a single common mutation was created for comparative analysis(group F).Results:The frequency of patients with compound EGFR was 2.9%(114/3925)and their response rate to first-genera-tion TKIs was 50.9%,which was not significantly different from group F(67.0%,P=0.088).The progression-free survival(PFS)of the 106 patients receiving TKI therapy was worse than that of group F(median,9.1 vs.13.0 months,respec-tively;P<0.001).The PFS of the compound mutation group was shorter than that of the single common mutation group(median,10.1 months in group A,P=0.240;9.1 months in group B,P<0.001;9.6 months in group C,P=0.010;6.5 months in group D,P=0.048;5.4 months in group E,P=0.017).Patients with a co-occurring mutation in exon 20(excluding T790M)exhibited significantly worse PFS than the patients with other compound mutations or with a single common mutation(median,6.5 vs.9.1 vs.13.0 months,respectively,P=0.002).Conclusions:There was significant heterogeneity among the compound EGFR mutations and their response to first-generation TKIs.Individualized treatment in clinical practice should be considered for each case.Xiangyang Yu Xuewen Zhang Zichen Zhang Yongbin Lin Yingsheng Wen Yongqiang Chen Weidong Wang Lanjun Zhang 2018Cancer Communications2018,38,1:5
4Memristor bridge-based low pass filter for image processing显示文摘This paper highlights the memristor bridge-based lowpass filter (LPF) and improved image processing algorithms along with a novel adaptive Gaussian filter for denoising image and a new Gaussian pyramid for scale invariant feature transform (SIFT). First, a novel kind of LPF based on the memristor bridge is designed, whose cut-off frequency and other traits are demonstrated to change with different time and memristance. In light of the changeable parameter of the memristor bridge-based LPF, a new adaptive Gaussian filter and an improved SIFT algorithm are presented. Finally, experiment results show that the peak signalto- noise ratio (PSNR) of our denoising is bettered more than 2.77 dB compared to the corresponding of the traditional Gaussian filter, and our improved SIFT performances including the number of matched feature points and the percent of correct matches are higher than the traditional SIFT, which verifies feasibility and effectiveness of our algorithm.YU Yongbin YANG Nijing YANG Chenyu NYIMA Tashi 2019Journal of Systems Engineering and Electronics2019,30,3:4
5Overwhelming low ammonia escape and low temperature denitration efficiency via MnOx-decorated two-dimensional MgAl layered double oxides显示文摘Low temperature catalysts are attracting increasing attention in the selective catalytic reduction(SCR)of NO with NH3.Mn Ox-decorated Mg Al layered double oxide(Mn/Mg Al-LDO)was synthesized via a facile fast pour assisted co-precipitation(FP-CP)process.Compared to the Mn/Mg Al-LDO obtained via slow drop assisted coprecipitation(SD-CP)method,the Mn/Mg Al-LDO(FP-CP)has excellent activity.The Mn/Mg Al-LDO(FP-CP)catalyst was shown to possess a high NO conversion rate of 76%-100%from 25 to 150℃,which is much better than the control Mn/Mg Al-LDO(SD-CP)(29.4%-75.8%).In addition,the Mn/Mg Al-LDO(FP-CP)offered an enhanced NO conversion rate of 97%and a N2selectivity of 97.3%at 100℃;the NO conversion rate was 100%and the N2selectivity was 90%at 150℃with a GHSV of 60,000 h^-1.The Mn/Mg Al-LDO(FP-CP)catalyst exhibited a smaller fragment nano-sheet structure(sheet thickness of 7.23 nm).An apparent lattice disorder was observed in the HRTEM image confirming the presence of many defects.The H2-TPR curves show that the Mn/Mg Al-LDO(FP-CP)catalyst has abundant reducing substances.Furthermore,the enhanced surface acidity makes the NH3concentration of the Mn/Mg Al-LDO(FP-CP)catalyst lower than 100 ml·m^-3after the reaction from 25 to 400℃.This can effectively reduce the ammonia escape rate in the SCR reaction.Thus,the Mn/Mg Al-LDO(FP-CP)catalyst has potential applications in stationary industrial installations for environmentally friendly ultra-low temperature SCR.Junqi Tian Yanqin Li Xia Zhou Yongbin Yao DenghaoWang Jianming Dan Bin Dai Qiang Wang Feng Yu 2020Chinese Journal of Chemical Engineering2020,28,7:4
6Design and measurement of signal processing system for cavity beam position monitor显示文摘In this paper,in order to achieve the output signal processing of cavity beam position monitor(CBPM),we develop a digital intermediate frequency receiver architecture based signal processing system,which consists of radio frequency(RF) front end and high speed data acquisition board.The beam position resolution in the CBPM signal processing system is superior to 1μm.Two signal processing algorithms,fast Fourier transform(FFT) and digital down converter(DDC),are evaluated offline using MATLAB platform,and both can be used to achieve,the CW input signal,position resolutions of 0.31μm and 0.10μm at -16 dBm.The DDC algorithm for its good compatibility is downloaded into the FPGA to realize online measurement,reaching the position resolution of 0.49μm due to truncation error.The whole system works well and the performance meets design target.WANG Baopeng LENG Yongbin YU Luyang ZHOU Weimin YUAN Renxian CHEN Zhichu 2013Nuclear Science and Techniques2013,24,2:3

8On the Negative Effects of Trend Noise and Its Applications in Side-Channel Cryptanalysis显示文摘Most existing noise reduction methods in side-channel cryptanalysis treat all noises as a whole, instead of identifying and dealing with each of them individually. Motivated by this, this paper investigates the feasibility and implications of identifying trend noise from any other noises in side-channel acquisitions and then dealing with it accordingly. We discuss the effectiveness of applying least square method to remove inherent trend noise in side-channel leakages, and also clarify the limited capability of existing noise reduction methods in dealing with trend noise. 11Particle Image Velocimetry Experimental and Computational Investigation of a Blood Pump显示文摘Blood pumps have been adopted to treat heart failure over the past decades.A novel blood pump adopting the ro-tor with splitter blades and tandem cascade stator was developed recently.A particle image velocimetry (PIV) experiment was carried out to verify the design of the blood pump based on computational fluid dynamics (CFD) and further analyze the flow properties in the rotor and stator.The original sized pump model with an acrylic housing and an experiment loop were constructed to perform the optical measurement.The PIV testing was car-ried out at the rotational speed of 6952±50 r/min with the flow rate of 3.1 l/min and at 8186±50 r/min with 3.5 l/min,respectively.The velocity and the Reynolds shear stress distributions were investigated by PIV and CFD,and the comparisons between them will be helpful for the future blood pump design.Xiaochen Yang Xingmin Gui Hui Huang Yongbin Shen Ziwen Yu Yan Zhang 2012Journal of Thermal Science2012,21,3:2

15Gain Scheduling Control of Nonlinear Shock Motion Based on Equilibrium Manifold Linearization Model显示文摘The equilibrium manifold linearization model of nonlinear shock motion is of higher accuracy and lower complexity over other models such as the small perturbation model and the piecewise-linear model. This paper analyzes the physical significance of the equi- librium manifold linearization model, and the self-feedback mechanism of shock motion is revealed. This helps to describe the stability and dynamics of shock motion. Based on the model, the paper puts forwards a gain scheduling control method for nonlinear shock mo- tion. 19Acoustic Prediction and Risk Evaluation of Shallow Gas in Deep-Water Areas显示文摘Shallow gas is a potential risk in deep-water drilling that must not be ignored,as it may cause major safety problems,such as well kicks and blowouts.Thus,the pre-drilling prediction of shallow gas is important.For this reason,this paper conducted deep-water shallow gas acoustic simulation experiments based on the characteristics of deep-water shallow soil properties and the theory of sound wave speed propagation.The results indicate that the propagation speed of sound waves in shallow gas increases with an in-crease in pressure and decreases with increasing porosity.Pressure and sound wave speed are basically functions of the power expo-nent.Combined with the theory of sound wave propagation in a saturated medium,this paper establishes a multivariate functional relationship between sound wave speed and formation pressure and porosity.The numerical simulation method is adopted to simulate shal-low gas eruptions under different pressure conditions.Shallow gas pressure coefficients that fall within the ranges of 1.0-1.1,1.1-1.2,and exceeding 1.2 are defined as low-,medium-,and high-risk,respectively,based on actual operations.This risk assessment me-thod has been successfully applied to more than 20 deep-water wells in the South China Sea,with a prediction accuracy of over 90%.YANG Jin WU Shiguo TONG Gang WANG Huanhuan GUO Yongbin ZHANG Weiguo ZHAO Shaowei SONG Yu YIN Qishuai XU Fei 2022Journal of Ocean University of China2022,21,5:1
