4Suitability Evaluation of Rural Settlements Based on Accessibility of Production and Living: A Case Study of Tingzu Town in Hubei Prov- ince of China显示文摘Rural settlements are the main carriers of agriculture, rural areas and farmers; thus, optimizing the production and living space of rural settlements is highly significant to rural development. Taking the effective allocation of resources as the starting point, a suitability evaluation system of rural settlements, based on accessibility of production and living, was proposed in this study to provide scientific basis for the optimization of production and living space. The accessibility of production and living was measured by an improved two-step floating catchment area method, which considered proximity and availability based on the inclination of rural residents. The suitability evaluation system consisted of traditional suitability evaluation and newly proposed limiting factor identification based on the loss score proportion of suitability. Tingzu Town of Hubei Province, China, was chosen as the case study area. Based on the results of the suitability evaluation system, corresponding suggestions on rural land consolidation, industry division, as well as the layout of health care and education facilities were proposed to optimize the production and living space of rural settlements in Tingzu Town. It is found that the suitability evaluation based on accessibility of production and living is more scientific and accurate than the traditional ones which significantly overestimate production and living convenience. 5Effect of drag reducing riblet surface on coherent structure in turbulent boundary layer显示文摘The characteristics of turbulent boundary layer over streamwise aligned drag reducing riblet surface under zero-pressure gradient are investigated using particle image velocimetry. The formation and distribution of large-scale coherent structures and their effect on momentum partition are analyzed using two-point correlation and probability density function. Compared with smooth surface, the streamwise riblets reduce the friction velocity and Reynolds stress in the turbulent boundary layer, indicating the drag reduction effect. Strong correlation has been found between the occurrence of hairpin vortices and the momentum distribution. The number and streamwise length scale of hairpin vortices decrease over streamwise riblet surface. 6Influence of thermal inhibitor position and temperature on vortex-shedding-driven pressure oscillations显示文摘Vortex-acoustic coupling is one of the most important potential sources of combustion instability in solid rocket motors (SRMs). Based on the Von Karman Institute for Fluid Dynamics (VKI) experimental motor, the influence of the thermal inhibitor position and temperature on vortex-shedding-driven pressure oscillations is numerically studied via the large eddy simulation (LES) method. The simulation results demonstrate that vortex shedding is a periodic process and its accurate frequency can be numerically obtained. Acoustic modes could be easily excited by vortex shedding. The vortex shedding frequency and second acoustic frequency dominate the pressure oscillation characteristics in the chamber. Thermal inhibitor position and gas temperature have little effect on vortex shedding frequency, but have great impact on pressure oscillation amplitude. Pressure amplitude is much higher when the thermal inhibitor locates at the acoustic velocity anti-nodes. The farther the thermal inhibitor is to the nozzle head, the more vortex energy would be dissipated by the turbulence. Therefore, the vortex shedding amplitude at the second acoustic velocity antinode near 3/4L (L is chamber length) is larger than those of others. Besides, the natural acoustic frequencies increase with the gas temperature. As the vortex shedding frequency departs from the natural acoustic frequency, the vortex-acoustic feedback loop is decoupled. 7Dual activated NIR-Ⅱ fluorescence and photoacoustic imaging-guided cancer chemo-radiotherapy using hybrid plasmonic-fluorescent assemblies显示文摘Multimodal imaging in the second near-infrared window(NIR-II)guided cancer therapy is a highly precise and efficient cancer theranostic strategy.However,it is still a challenge to develop activated NIR-II optical imaging and therapy agents.In this study,we develop a pH-responsive hybrid plasmonic-fluorescent vesicle by self-assembly of amphiphilic plasmonic nanogapped gold nanorod(AuNNR)and fluorescent down-conversion nanoparticles(DCNP)(AuNNR-DCNP Ve),showing remarkable and activated NIR-II fluorescence(FL)/NIR-II photoacoustic(PA)imaging performances.The hybrid vesicle also exhibited superior loading capacity of doxorubicin as a superior drug carrier and efficient radiosensitizer for X-ray-induced radiotherapy.Interestingly,the accumulated hybrid AuNNR-DCNP Ve in the tumor resulted in a recovery of NIR-II FL imaging signal and a variation in NIR-II PA imaging signal.Dual activated NIR-II PA and FL imaging of the hybrid vesicle could trace drug release and precisely guided cancer radiotherapy to ultimately reduce the side effects to healthy tissue.Tao Chen Lichao Su Xiaoguang Ge Wenmin Zhang Qingqing Li Xuan Zhang Jiamin Ye Lisen Lin Jibin Song Huanghao Yang 2020Nano Research2020,13,12:4
8Structural Characterization of Glucan Produced by Lactobacillus sake L-7 from Sausage显示文摘A linear glucan was produced by Lactobacillus sake L-7 isolated from homemade sausage. Cultivation of the strain in Man–Rogosa–Sharpe(MRS) medium containing 50 g/L sucrose yielded 5.3 g/L of purified exopolysaccharide(EPS). The EPS was characterized by gas chromatography(GC), Fourier-transform infrared(FT-IR) spectroscopy, high-performance sizeexclusion chromatography(HPSEC), nuclear magnetic resonance(NMR) spectroscopy, and scanning electron microscopy(SEM). The monosaccharide composition of the EPS was glucose, and its molecular weight was 1 × 10~7 Da. The FT-IR and NMR spectra revealed that the L-7 EPS was a linear glucan with α-(1 → 6) glucosidic bonds. SEM images of the dried EPS revealed a hollow tubular structure. The water solubility index and water holding capacity of L-7 EPS were 96 and 272%, respectively. The results of hydrolysis indicated that L-7 EPS was not susceptible to hydrolysis by physiological barriers and can be used as a soluble dietary fiber with health benefits. 9Isolation, Purification, and Characterization of Exopolysaccharide Produced by Leuconostoc Citreum N21 from Dried Milk Cake显示文摘A strain with high production of exopolysaccharide(EPS) was isolated from dried milk cake(a traditional fermented food from Inner Mongolia). The strain was called N21 and later identified as Leuconostoc citreum( Leu. citreum). The strain was cultured in Man-Rogosa-Sharpe medium containing 50 g/L of sucrose for 48 h at 30 °C and the EPS purified, with a yield of 24.5 g/L. An average molecular weight of 6.07 × 10~6 g/mol was determined by high-performance size-exclusion chromatography. The structure of the purified EPS was investigated through gas chromatography, ~1H and ^(13)C nuclear magnetic resonance spectroscopy, and Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy. The results demonstrated a polysaccharide composed of D-glucopyranose units in a linear chain with consecutive α(1 → 6) linkages. No branching was found in the structure of the exopolysaccharide. The purified EPS showed high water solubility and emulsibility. Based on the thermogravimetric curve, the degradation temperature of the EPS was 308.47 °C, which suggested that the dextran in the study exhibited high thermal stability. 10Ultrasound-propelled Janus Au NR-mSiO_(2) nanomotor for NIR-II photoacoustic imaging guided sonodynamic-gas therapy of large tumors显示文摘Varieties of contrast agents have been developed for photoacoustic(PA)and ultrasound(US)imaging of cancers in vivo.However,access of traditional contrast agents into the sites of tumors has been principally through passive infiltration without any external force,preventing their deep penetration into the tissues of the tumors,and hindering the use of PA and US for deep tumor imaging.The concept of micro/nanomotors has been the focus of increasing attention as active theranostic agents due to their active movement in particular fluids,thereby conducting assigned tasks.Herein,US-propelled Janus mesoporous SiO_(2)partially coated gold nanorods(Au NR-mSiO_(2))were fabricated for deep tumor NIR-II PA imaging and synergistic sonodynamic-gas therapy.Following US irradiation,2,2-azobis[2-(2-imidazolin-2-yl)propane]dihydrochloride(AIPH)loaded in mSiO_(2)(Au NR-mSiO_(2)/AIPH)generated N_(2)microbubbles with high efficiency to achieve nanomotor drive.Due to the deep penetration of US,the nanomotors exhibited a capability to travel deep within sites of tumors,providing enhanced PA/US imaging inside the tumors.Furthermore,the nanomotor based cancer therapy was demonstrated through synergistic N_(2)gas and sonodynamic therapy.The US-propelled nanomotors demonstrated a novel strategy for the simultaneous PA/US dual imaging deep within tumor tissues and precise therapy of large tumors.Jiamin Ye Qinrui Fu Luntao Liu Lanlan Chen Xuan Zhang Qingqing Li Zhi Li Lichao Su Rong Zhu Jibin Song Huanghao Yang 2021Science China Chemistry2021,64,12:2
11Amorphization activated FeB_(2) porous nanosheets enable efficient electrocatalytic N_(2) fixation显示文摘Designing active,robust and cost-effective catalysts for the nitrogen reduction reaction(NRR) is of paramount significance for sustainable electrochemical NH3 synthesis.Transition-metal diborides(TMB_2)have been recently theoretically predicted to be a new class of potential NRR catalysts,but direct experimental evidence is still lacking.Herein,we present the first experimental demonstration that amorphous FeB_2 porous nanosheets(a-FeB_2 PNSs) could be a highly efficient NRR catalyst,which exhibited an NH3 yield of 39.8 μg h^(-1) mg^(-1)(-0.3 V) and a Faradaic efficiency of 16.7%(-0.2 V),significantly outperforming their crystalline counterpart and most of existing NRR catalysts.First-principle calculations unveiled that the amorphization could induce the upraised d-band center of a-FeB_2 to boost d-2π~* coupling between the active Fe site and ~*N_2 H intermediate,resulting in enhanced ~*N_2 H stabilization and reduced reaction barrier.Out study may facilitate the development and understanding of earth-abundant TMB_2-based catalysts for electrocatalytic N_2 fixation.Ke Chu Weicong Gu Qingqing Li Yaping Liu Ye Tian Wuming Liu 2021Journal of Energy Chemistry2021,30,2:2

15Near-Infrared-Excitable Organic Ultralong Phosphorescence through Multiphoton Absorption显示文摘Organic ultralong room-temperature phosphorescence(OURTP)with a long-lived triplet excited state up to several seconds has triggered widespread research interests,but most OURTP materials are excited by only ultraviolet(UV)or blue light owing to their unique stabilized triplet-and solid-state emission feature.Here,we demonstrate that near-infrared-(NIR-)excitable OURTP molecules can be rationally designed by implanting intra/intermolecular charge transfer(CT)characteristics into Haggregation to stimulate the efficient nonlinear multiphoton absorption(MPA).The resultant upconverted MPA-OURTP show ultralong lifetimes over 0.42 s and a phosphorescence quantum yield of~37%under both UV and NIR light irradiation.Empowered by the extraordinary MPA-OURTP,novel applications including two-photon bioimaging,visual laser power detection and excitation,and lifetime multiplexing encryption devices were successfully realized.These discoveries illustrate not only a delicate design map for the construction of NIR-excitable OURTP materials but also insightful guidance for exploring OURTP-based nonlinear optoelectronic properties and applications.Ye Tao Lele Tang Qi Wei Jibiao Jin Wenbo Hu Runfeng Chen Qingqing Yang Huanhuan Li Ping Li Guichuan Xing Quli Fan Chao Zheng Wei Huang 2020Research2020,,1:1
