| 1 | Functional Electrospun Nanocomposites for Efficient Oxygen Reduction Reaction显示文摘Electrospinning with a simple and controllable process has extremely received considerable concerns by virtue of the fabrication and development of nanofibers.Moreover,nanofibers are playing an increasing impact on energy conversion and storage devices,especially for fuel cells based on oxygen reduction reaction(ORR),in view of the rich porosity,large surface area,excellent mass transportation and simply tunable composition,as well as good mechanical strength.In this review,we mainly introduce the primary principle of electrospinning technique,electrochemical reaction mechanism of ORR and synthetic strategies,and summarize the recent advances of unique non-noble-metal nanofibers on the basis of metal-organic framework(MOF)derivatives,single-atom catalysts(SACs)and transition metal oxides.More importantly,we emphasize on the influences of the components,morphology and architecture of advanced electrospun catalysts on their corresponding electrochemical performances towards ORR.Finally,the remaining puzzles and perspectives for further development of the electrospinning nanofibers involving electrocatalysis are presented.It is envisioned that this review would offer an important direction in designing novel electrocatalysts based on electrospinning nanofibrous structures and developing their potential. | ZHANG Xiuling GUO Shiquan QIN Yue LI Congju | 2021 | Chemical Research in Chinese Universities2021,37,3: | 1 |

| 5 | Concurrent silencing of TBCE and drug delivery to overcome platinum-based resistance in liver cancer显示文摘Platinum-based chemotherapy resistance is a key factor of poor prognosis and recurrence in hepatocellular carcinoma(HCC).Herein,RNAseq analysis revealed that elevated tubulin folding cofactor E(TBCE)expression is associated with platinum-based chemotherapy resistance.High expression of TBCE contributes to worse prognoses and earlier recurrence among liver cancer patients.Mechanistically,TBCE silencing significantly affects cytoskeleton rearrangement,which in turn increases cisplatin-induced cycle arrest and apoptosis.To develop these findings into potential therapeutic drugs,endosomal pH-responsive nanoparticles(NPs)were developed to simultaneously encapsulate TBCE siRNA and cisplatin(DDP)to reverse this phenomena.NPs(siTBCE+DDP)concurrently silenced TBCE expression,increased cell sensitivity to platinum treatment,and subsequently resulted in superior anti-tumor effects both in vitro and in vivo in orthotopic and patient-derived xenograft(PDX)models.Taken together,NP-mediated delivery and the co-treatment of siTBCE+DDP proved to be effective in reversing chemotherapy resistance of DDP in multiple tumor models. | Senlin Li Siyu Chen Zhihui Dong Xingdong Song Xiuling Li Ziqi Huang Huiru Li Linzhuo Huang Ganyuan Zhuang Ran Lan Mingyan Guo Wende Li Phei Er Saw Lei Zhang | 2023 | Acta Pharmaceutica Sinica B2023,13,3: | 1 |

[Methods]On the basis of defined extraction times,ethanol concentration,ethanol times and extraction time were investigated by HPLC-MS combined with orthogonal test to optimize extraction process using the content of monoester alkaloids( the sum of benzoyl neoaconitine,benzoyl hypoaconitine and benzoyl aconitine) as an index.[Results]The optimum ethanol extraction technology was as follows: 75% ethanol,ethanol amount 25 times of the medicinal material,and each extraction for 1. 5 h.[Conclusions] The optimal extraction technology is simple,feasible,stable and reliable. | 7 | Nanoparticle(NP)-mediated APOC1 silencing to inhibit MAPK/ERK and NF-κB pathway and suppress breast cancer growth and metastasis显示文摘Breast cancer is one of the most common malignant tumors with high mortality and poor prognosis in women.There is an urgent need to discover new therapeutic targets for breast cancer metastasis.Herein,we identified that Apolipoprotein C1(APOC1)was up-regulated in primary tumor of breast cancer patient that recurrence and metastasis by immunohistochemistry(IHC).Kaplan-Meier Plotter database showed that high levels of APOC1 in breast cancer patients were strongly associated with worse overall survival(OS)and relapse-free survival(RFS).Mechanistically,APOC1 silencing significantly inhibits MAPK/ERK kinase pathway and restrains the NF-κB to decrease the transcription of target genes related to growth and metastasis in vitro.Based on this regulatory mechanism,we developed these findings into potential therapeutic drugs,glutathione(GSH)responsive nanoparticles(NPs)were used for systemic APOC1 siRNA delivery,NPs(siAPOC1)silenced APOC1 expression,and subsequently resulted in positive anti-tumor effects in orthotopic and liver metastasis models in vivo.Taken together,GSH responsive NPmediated siAPOC1 delivery was proved to be effective in regulating growth and metastasis in multiple tumor models.These findings show that APOC1 could be a potential biomarker to predict the prognosis of breast cancer patients and NP-mediated APOC1 silencing could be new strategies for exploration of new treatments for breast cancer metastasis. | Shaomin Liu Fengqian Zhang Yixia Liang Guo Wu Rong Liu Xiuling Li Phei Er Saw Zhonghan Yang | 2023 | Science China(Life Sciences)2023,66,11: | 0 |

| 9 | Electronic interaction and oxygen vacancy engineering of g-C_(3)N_(4)/α-Bi_(2)O_(3) Zscheme heterojunction for enhanced photocatalytic aerobic oxidative homo-/hetero-coupling of amines to imines in aqueous phase显示文摘Photocatalytic oxidation coupling of amines represents a green and cost-effective method for the synthesis of highly value-added imines under visible light irradiation.However,the catalytic efficiency was severely limited by poor visible light response and easy recombination of photogenerated charge carriers.Herein,we report a g-CgN_(4)/α-Bi_(2)O_(3)Z-scheme heterojunction via electrostatic self-assembly of g-C_(3)N_(4)nanosheets and oxygen-va-cancy-rich aα-Bi_(2)O_(3)microsphere for visible-light driven oxidative coupling of amines to imines in H_(2)0 as green solvent at room temperature.Amines with diverse functional groups were efficiently converted into the corre-sponding imines in good to excellent yields.Impressively,this photocatalytic protocol is applicable for the challenging hetero-coupling of two structurally different amines to construct complicated asymmetric imines,which is the first report of photocatalytic hetero-coupling of amines to imines to our knowledge.Furthermore,the Z-scheme heterojunction also demonstrated high stability and could be readily separated and reused without obvious decay in activity and selectivity.Comprehensive characterizations and control experiments reveal the construction of Z-scheme heterojunction with intimate interface between g-CgN4 and a-Bi_(2)O_(3)greatly boosts the transfer and separation of photogenerated charge carries and enhances the redox capability.Meanwhile,the surface oxygen vacancies in a-Biz_(2)O_(3)also benefits the separation of photogenerated charge carriers and acti-vation of reactants.These jointly contributed to an enhanced photocatalytic performance for oxidative coupling of amines to imines. | Yanhua Gao Tao Song Xiuling Guo Yan Zhang Yong Yang | 2023 | Green Carbon2023,1,2: | 0 |
