| 2 | Changes in sediment discharge in a sediment-rich region of the Yellow River from 1955 to 2010: implications for further soil erosion control显示文摘The well-documented decrease in the discharge of sediment into the Yellow River has attracted considerable attention in recent years. The present study analyzed the spatial and temporal variation of sediment yield based on data from 46 hydrological stations in the sediment-rich region of the Yellow River from 1955 to 2010. The results showed that since 1970 sediment yield in the region has clearly decreased at different rates in the 45 sub-areas controlled by hydrological stations. The decrease in sediment yield was closely related to the intensity and extent of soil erosion control measures and rainstorms that occurred in different periods and sub-areas. The average sediment delivery modulus(SDM) in the study area decreased from 7,767.4 t/(km2?a) in 1951–1969 to 980.5 t/(km2?a) in 2000–2010. | 3 | A Sensor Redeployment Algorithm Based on Virtual Forces for Underwater Sensor Networks显示文摘Practical underwater sensor networks redeployment algorithm needs to fully consider limited node resources, node move time and other characteristics in real environment. A Redeployment based on virtual forces(RBVF) algorithm is proposed. The non-persistent carrier sense multiple access protocol is introduced to solve communication conflicts between nodes during redeployment process. Based on existing study on three-dimensional space node deployment, the threshold value is determined to divide the attractive and repulsion forces. The speed of the node is considered. Simulation results indicate that the RBVF algorithm can achieve better coverage and less total move distance when moving nodes are not considered in virtual forces calculation.Water flow force is introduced, and a Virtual forces redeployment based on energy consuming(VFRBEC) algorithm is proposed, where different energy consumptions in different directions are used to modify node displacement. | 5 | Leaching of manganese residue for the preparation of trimanganese tetroxide with a high surface area显示文摘The accumulation of electrolytic manganese residue (EMR) has become a serious problem and its recycling will be of great benefit to protect the environment and assist sustainable development. The reusing method was conducted by leaching EMR with sulfuric acid and the optimal leaching condition was 1:3 (g/g) as the ratio of solid to liquid with 20% (g/g) H2SO4 , heating at 90 ℃ for 3 hours, which aims at extracting Mn in a sulfuric acid medium. The produced MnSO4 solution was precipitated by adding alkali and oxidized in aqueous phase. The oxidized products were characterized by various techniques, including X-ray powder diffraction (XRD), Fourier transform infrared (IR) spectrometry, vibrating sample magnetometry (VSM), with Brunauer-Emmett-Teller (BET) specific surface area instrument and laser particle size analyzer. | 20 | Accounting and Characteristics Analysis of CO_(2) Emissions in Chinese Cities显示文摘Accurate estimation of CO_(2) emissions is a prerequisite for scientific low-carbon emission policymaking.Based on 20 types of energy consumption data at the prefecture level in China,this paper re-estimates the CO_(2) emissions of 198 prefecture-level cities in 2016 by using the method of carbon emission coefficient.The spatial pattern and scale characteristics are analyzed,and the conclusions are as follows:(1)Overall,China’s urban CO_(2) emissions show a certain degree of spatial separation in terms of the total amount,per capita emissions,and emission intensity.Cities with the highest CO_(2) emissions in China are mainly concentrated in North China,East China and Chongqing,while cities with the highest per capita CO_(2) emissions and emission intensity are mainly concentrated in Northwest and North China.(2)Different types of cities have different CO_(2) emission characteristics.Resource-based cities have a higher total amount and emission intensity;tourism and underdeveloped cities both have lower values;while super-large-sized cities and many very-large-sized cities have higher CO_(2) emissions,but their emission intensities are usually lower;and no obvious rules are found in other cities.(3)Spatial analysis shows that cities with higher CO_(2) emissions are clustered.The Beijing–Tianjin–Hebei region,the Yangtze River Delta region,Shandong Province,and Shanxi–Henan–Anhui resource-producing areas are the agglomeration areas of high-emission cities.(4)Scale analysis shows that the characteristics of CO_(2) emissions at different scales are different.Provincial-level research can help to identify the environmental impact and total effect of carbon emissions,while urban-scale research is helpful to explore the diversity and phases of cities.Finally,based on the main conclusions of this study,the corresponding urban low-carbon policy implications are drawn. | WANG Xingmin WU Jing WANG Zheng JIA Xiaoting BAI Bing | 2020 | Chinese Journal of Urban and Environmental Studies2020,8,1: | 1 |
