1Spatiotemporal variations of nitrate sources and dynamics in a typical agricultural riverine system under monsoon climate显示文摘Nitrogen pollution is a serious environmental issue in the Danjiangkou Reservoir region(DRR),the water source of the South-to-North Water Diversion Project of China.In this research,seasonal surveys and a bi-weekly time series survey were conducted in the Qihe River Basin,one of the most densely populated agricultural basins in the DRR.Hydrochemical compositions(NO3^-Cl^-),dual isotopes(δD-H2O,δ^18O-H2O,δ^15N-NO3^-,andδ^18O-NO3^-),and a Markov Chain Monte Carlo isotope mixing model were jointly applied to unravel the sources,migrations,and transformations of the nitrate(NO3^-)in the basin.It was revealed that the mixing between different sources was the main process controlling the isotopic compositions of the riverine NO3the upper-middle reaches.In contrast,denitrification occurred in the lower reaches.For the first time,the sources of NO3^-quantified at a basin scale in the DRR.Overall,the river transported 484.2 tons/year of NO3^-N to the reservoir,of which 32.6%,36.4%,28.0%,and 3.0%was from soil organic nitrogen,chemical fertilizer,residential sewage and atmospheric precipitation,respectively.The NO3^-N fluxes of the different sources were regulated by the monsoon climate and anthropogenic activities.For example,high precipitation and intense fertilization resulted in severe nonpoint source pollution.Denitrification thrived in soils and reservoirs in wet seasons.Temperature could regulate the migration,nitrification and denitrification processes.Based on the results,we suggest that the management strategies dealing with nitrogen pollution issue in the DRR should follow the specific spatiotemporal characteristics of NO3migration and transformation mechanisms.Hao Jiang Wenjing Liu Jiangyi Zhang Li Zhou Xiaode Zhou Ke Pan Tong Zhao Yuchen Wang Zhifang Xu 2020Journal of Environmental Sciences2020,32,7:5

3Genomic footprints of Kam Sweet Rice domestication indicate possible migration routes of theDongpeople inChina andprovide resources for future rice breeding显示文摘The Dong people are one of China’s 55 recognized ethnic minorities,but there has been a long-standing debate about their origins.In this study,we performed whole-genome resequencing of Kam Sweet Rice(KSR),a valuable,rare,and ancient rice landrace unique to the Dong people.Through comparative genomic analyses of KSR and other rice landraces from south of the Yangtze River Basin in China,we provide evidence that the ancestors of the Dong people likely originated from the southeast coast of China at least 1000 years ago.Alien introgression and admixture in KSR demonstrated multiple migration events in the history of the Dong people.Genomic footprints of domestication demonstrated characteristics of KSR that arose from artificial selection and geographical adaptation by the Dong people.The key genes GS3,Hd1,and DPS1(related to agronomic traits)and LTG1 and MYBS3(related to cold tolerance)were identified as domestication targets,reflecting crop improvement and changes in the geographical environment of the Dong people during migration.A genome-wide association study revealed a candidate yield-associated gene,Os01g0923300,a specific haplotype in KSR that is important for regulating grain number per panicle.RNA-sequencing and quantitative reverse transcription-PCR results showed that this gene was more highly expressed in KSR than in ancestral populations,indicating that it may have great value in increasing yield potential in other rice accessions.In summary,our work develops a novel approach for studying human civilization and migration patterns and provides valuable genomic datasets and resources for future breeding of high-yield and climate-resilient rice varieties.Chunhui Liu Tianyi Wang Huicha Chen Xiaoding Ma Chengzhi Jiao Di Cui Bing Han Xiaobing Li Aixia Jiao Renchao Ruan Dayuan Xue Yanjie Wang Longzhi Han 2023Molecular Plant2023,16,2:3
4Prediction of solar cycle based on the invariant显示文摘A new method of predicting solar activities has been introduced in this paper. The method can predict both the occurrence time and the maximum number of sunspot at the same time. By studying the variation of sunspot, we find that the combination of the several variables was nearly in-variable during the entire solar cycles, as called invariant. And just only by determining the start time of a cycle, we can predict the occurrence time of cycles peak value accurately. Furthermore, according to observational data of the sunspot cycles, it showed that the sunspot maximum number has correlation not only with the prophase variety of the number in the cycle but also with the anaphase of the previous period. So we can introduce an equivalent regression coefficient, which can dynamically self-adapt to different cycle lengths, and effectively solve the inconsistency between the accuracy and the lead-time of the forecast. It can guarantee the satis-fied accuracy and effectively increases the lead-time of the forecast. This method can predict the maximum sunspot number for solar cycle at the approximate half rise of the period. 10Ultrafast growth of wafer-scale fold-free bilayer graphene显示文摘Bilayer graphene provides a versatile platform for exploring a variety of intriguing phenomena and shows much promise for applications in electronics,optoelectronics,etc.Controlled growth of large-area bilayer graphene is therefore highly desired yet still suffers from a slow growth rate and poor layer uniformity.Meanwhile,graphene wrinkles,including folds and ripples,form during cooling due to the thermal contraction mismatch between graphene and the metal substrates,and have been far from suppressed or eliminated,especially in bilayer graphene,which would greatly degrade the extraordinary properties of graphene.Here we report the ultrafast growth of wafer-scale fold-free bilayer graphene by chemical vapor deposition.Through well-tuning the alloy thickness and strain regulation of the single-crystal CuNi(111)/sapphire,the full coverage of a 2-inch fold-free bilayer graphene wafer via mainly isothermal segregation has been achieved as fast as 30 s.The tensile-strained CuNi(111)film reduces the thermal contraction mismatch and suppresses the formation of graphene folds during cooling,which is directly observed through in situ optical microscopy.The ultraflat bilayer graphene exhibits wafer-scale uniformity in electrical performance and enhanced mechanical property comparable to the exfoliated ones.Our results offer a promising route for largescale production of bilayer graphene and enable its various applications.Jilin Tang Yuechen Wang Yuwei Ma Xiaoyin Gao Xin Gao Ning Li Yani Wang Shishu Zhang Liming Zheng Bing Deng Rui Yan Yisen Cao Ronghua Zhang Lianming Tong Jin Zhang Peng Gao Zhongfan Liu Xiaoding Wei Hongtao Liu Hailin Peng 2023Nano Research2023,16,7:0

12Genomic insights on the contribution of introgressions from Xian/Indica to the genetic improvement of Geng/Japonica rice cultivars显示文摘Hybridization between Xian/indica(XI)and Geng/japonica(GJ)rice combined with utilization of plant ideotypes has greatly contributed to yield improvements in modern GJ rice in China over the past 50 years.To explore the genomic basis of improved yield and disease resistance in GJ rice,we conducted a large-scale genomic landscape analysis of 816 elite GJ cultivars representing multiple eras of germplasm from China.We detected consistently increasing introgressions from three XI subpopulations into GJ cultivars since the 1980s and found that the XI genome introgressions significantly increased the grain number per panicle(GN)and decreased the panicle number per plant.This contributed to the improvement of plant type during modern breeding,changing multi-tiller plants tomoderate tiller plants with a large panicle size and increasing the blast resistance.Notably,we found that key gene haplotypes controlling plant architecture,yield components,and pest and disease resistance,including IPA1,SMG1,DEP3,Pib,Pi-d2,and Bph3,were introduced from XI rice by introgression.By GWAS analysis,we detected a GN-related gene Gnd5,which had been consistently introgressed from XI into GJ cultivars since the 1980s.Gnd5 is a GRAS transcription factor gene,and Gnd5 knockout mutants showed a significant reduction in GN.The estimated genetic effects of genes varied among different breeding locations,which explained the distinct introgression levels of XI gene haplotypes,including Gnd5,DEP3,etc.,to these GJ breeding pedigrees.These findings reveal the genomic contributions of introgressions from XI to the trait improvements of GJ rice cultivars and provide new insights for future rice genomic breeding.Di Cui Han Zhou Xiaoding Ma Zechuan Lin Linhua Sun Bing Han Maomao Li Jianchang Sun Jin Liu Guixiu Jin Xianju Wang Guilan Cao Xing Wang Deng Hang He Longzhi Han 2022Plant Communications2022,3,3:0
13Integrating urban morphology and land surface temperature characteristics for urban functional area classification显示文摘The classification of urban functional areas plays an important role in urban planning and resource management.Although previous studies have confirmed that different urban func-tional areas have different morphological structures and Land Surface Temperature(LST)characteristics,these two types of characteristics have rarely been fully integrated and used for functional area classification.In this paper,a new framework for classifying urban functional areas is proposed by combining urban morphological features and LST features.First,metrics are constructed from three levels,namely,building,road and region,which are used to portray urban morphology;LST is retrieved using thermal infrared remote sensing to reflect LST features with four metrics:the average temperature,maximum temperature,temperature difference and standard deviation of temperature.Then,the functional areas are classified into four categories:service/public land,commercial land,residential land and industrial land.A random forest algorithm is used to effectively fuse the features of these two categories and classify the functional areas.The effectiveness of the proposed framework is tested in the study area of Shenzhen City,Guangdong Province.The results show that the combined classification accuracy of the proposed classification method is 0.85,which is 0.26 higher than that of the classification model based on urban morphology and 0.1 higher than that of the classification model based on LST features.The proposed framework verifies that the integration of LST features into urban functional area classification is reliable and effectively combines urban morphology and LST features for functional area classification.Bin Li Yefei Liu Hanfa Xing Yuan Meng Guang Yang Xiaoding Liu Yaolong Zhao 2022Geo-Spatial Information Science2022,25,2:0
14Peptide-Conjugated AggregationInduced Emission Fluorogen:Precise and Firm Cell Membrane Labeling by Multiple Weak Interactions显示文摘The cell membrane is a vital barrier that protects the cell from external damage and is involved in many biochemical processes.Thus,it is of great significance to label the cell membrane to explore its function.However,due to its complex and dynamic nature,precise and firm cell membrane labeling simultaneously is still a challenge.Herein,we report the fabrication of a peptide-conjugated aggregationinduced emission fluorogen(AIEgen),RTP,consisting of three main components:(1)An integrin-targeting peptide(RGD,R),which could bind specifically to integrinαvβ3 on cell membranes through ligand–receptor interaction.(2)An AIE-active tetraphenylethene derivative(T-MY,T)for fluorescent imaging.(3)Palmitic acid-modified peptide(Pal-RRRR,P),in which Pal isinserted into the lipid on the cellmembrane by hydrophobic interaction,and RRRR interacted with the negatively charged cell membrane components(proteins and lipids)through electrostatic forces.RTP could precisely label tumor cells with high integrinαvβ3 expression andfirmly trace the cellmembrane for up to 4 h;it also has a strong resistance to photobleaching.Moreover,RTP achieved in vivo tumor-specific imaging via cell membrane labeling.Thereby,utilizing multiple weak interactions between the fluorescent probe and the cell membrane provided a new strategy for precise and firm imaging of the cell membrane simultaneously.Juliang Yang Jing-Jing Hu Jiaming Wei Jun Dai Rui Liu Fan Xia Xiaoding Lou 2022CCS Chemistry2022,4,2:0
15Equalization Reconstruction Algorithm Based on Reference Signal Frequency Domain Block Joint for DTMB-Based Passive Radar显示文摘Channel equalization plays a pivotal role within the reconstruction phase of passive radar reference signals.In the context of reconstructing digital terrestrial multimedia broadcasting(DTMB)signals for low-slow-small(LSS)target detection,a novel frequency domain block joint equalization algorithm is presented in this article.From the DTMB signal frame structure and channel multipath transmission characteristics,this article adopts a unconventional approach where the delay and frame structure of each DTMB signal frame are reconfigured to create a circular convolution block,facilitating concurrent fast Fourier transform(FFT)calculations.Following equalization,an inverse fast Fourier transform(IFFT)-based joint output and subsequent data reordering are executed to finalize the equalization process for the DTMB signal.Simulation and measured data confirm that this algorithm outperforms conventional techniques by reducing signal errors rate and enhancing real-time processing.In passive radar LSS detection,it effectively suppresses multipath and noise through frequency domain equalization,reducing false alarms and improving the capabilities of weak target detection.Shuai Ma Zeqi Yang Hua Zhang Yiheng Liu Xiaode Lyu 2024Journal of Beijing Institute of Technology2024,33,1:0

17Nanoparticles (NPs)-mediated Siglec15 silencing and macrophage repolarization for enhanced cancer immunotherapy显示文摘cell infiltration and proliferation in tumor tissues are the main factors that significantly affect the therapeutic outcomes of cancer immunotherapy.Emerging evidence has shown that interferon-gamma(IFN)could enhance CXCL9 secretion from macrophages to recruit T cells,but Siglec15 expressed on TAMs can attenuate T cell proliferation.Therefore,targeted regulation of macrophage function could be a promising strategy to enhance cancer immunotherapy via concurrently promoting the infiltration and proliferation of T cells in tumor tissues.We herein developed reductionresponsive nanoparticles(NPs)made with poly(disulfide amide)(PDSA)and lipid-poly(ethylene glycol)(lipid-PEG)for systemic delivery of Siglec15 siRNA(siSiglec15)and IFN for enhanced cancer immunotherapy.After intravenous administration,these cargo-loaded could highly accumulate in the tumor tissues and be efficiently internalized by tumor-associated macrophages(TAMs).With the highly concentrated glutathione(GSH)in the cytoplasm to destroy the nanostructure,the loaded IFN and si-Siglec15 could be rapidly released,which could respectively repolarize macrophage phenotype to enhance CXCL9 secretion for T cell infiltration and silence Siglec15 expression to promote T cell proliferation,leading to significant inhibition of hepatocellular carcinoma(HCC)growth when combining with the immune checkpoint inhibitor.The strategy developed herein could be used as an effective tool to enhance cancer immunotherapy.Xiaodi Liu Qi Zhang Yixia Liang Shiyu Xiong Yan Cai Jincheng Cao Yanni Xu Xiaolin Xu Ye Wu Qiang Lu Xiaoding Xu Baoming Luo 2023Acta Pharmaceutica Sinica B2023,13,12:0
18Magnetoresistance in FeSi/Cu Compositionally Modulated Films显示文摘FeSi/Cu compositionally modulated amorphous films with different thicknesses of Cu layers have been obtained by radio-frequency sputtering.We studied the resistivity and magnetoresistance of these samples at room temperature.The resistivity of FeSi/Cu compositionally modulated films(CMFs)increases with decreasing the thickness of Cu layers.The FeSi/Cu CMFs show a negative magnetoresistance effect.The magnetoresistance decreases with decreasing the Cu layer thickness dc when dc is over 20A,but it turns to increase with decreasing dc when dc is below 20A.This is probably caused by the polarization of conductive electrons of Cu.LUAN Kaizheng LIU Yihua MA Xiaoding 1992Chinese Physics Letters1992,9,4:0
