1Four-quadrant Force Control with Minimal Ripple for Linear Switched Reluctance Machines显示文摘Linear switch reluctance machine(LSRM)has been tried to act as an alternative generator for direct drive linear wave energy converter(WEC).Many researchers have proposed new topologies of LSRM to improve the power density,efficiency and reliability.However,the control methods for LSRM applied in direct drive WEC have been paid little attention,especially control methods considering the wave energy generator operating characteristics.In this paper,according to the generator control requirements of the direct drive WEC,force control algorithm for LSRM operating in four quadrants without a speed closed loop is put forward.The force ripple of LSRM is suppressed using force sharing function method.The four-quadrant control is easy to realize requiring only phase currents information.Simulation results validate the proposed method and indicate that LSRM is able to be used as the generator for direct drive WEC.Xuanrui Huang Zechuan Lin Xi Xiao 2020CES Transactions on Electrical Machines and Systems2020,4,1:3
2Genomic insights on the contribution of introgressions from Xian/Indica to the genetic improvement of Geng/Japonica rice cultivars显示文摘Hybridization between Xian/indica(XI)and Geng/japonica(GJ)rice combined with utilization of plant ideotypes has greatly contributed to yield improvements in modern GJ rice in China over the past 50 years.To explore the genomic basis of improved yield and disease resistance in GJ rice,we conducted a large-scale genomic landscape analysis of 816 elite GJ cultivars representing multiple eras of germplasm from China.We detected consistently increasing introgressions from three XI subpopulations into GJ cultivars since the 1980s and found that the XI genome introgressions significantly increased the grain number per panicle(GN)and decreased the panicle number per plant.This contributed to the improvement of plant type during modern breeding,changing multi-tiller plants tomoderate tiller plants with a large panicle size and increasing the blast resistance.Notably,we found that key gene haplotypes controlling plant architecture,yield components,and pest and disease resistance,including IPA1,SMG1,DEP3,Pib,Pi-d2,and Bph3,were introduced from XI rice by introgression.By GWAS analysis,we detected a GN-related gene Gnd5,which had been consistently introgressed from XI into GJ cultivars since the 1980s.Gnd5 is a GRAS transcription factor gene,and Gnd5 knockout mutants showed a significant reduction in GN.The estimated genetic effects of genes varied among different breeding locations,which explained the distinct introgression levels of XI gene haplotypes,including Gnd5,DEP3,etc.,to these GJ breeding pedigrees.These findings reveal the genomic contributions of introgressions from XI to the trait improvements of GJ rice cultivars and provide new insights for future rice genomic breeding.Di Cui Han Zhou Xiaoding Ma Zechuan Lin Linhua Sun Bing Han Maomao Li Jianchang Sun Jin Liu Guixiu Jin Xianju Wang Guilan Cao Xing Wang Deng Hang He Longzhi Han 2022Plant Communications2022,3,3:0
3A comprehensive overview of the electrochemical mechanisms in emerging alkali metal-carbon dioxide batteries显示文摘Alkali metal-carbon dioxide(Li/Na/K-CO_(2))batteries are emerging electrochemical energy storage technologies in the context of the energy crisis and the urgent demand for carbon neutrality.Alkali metal-CO_(2) batteries offer a new strategy for CO_(2) fixation and utilization,and thus has been receiving considerable attention in recent years.Considerable progress has been achieved since alkali metal-CO_(2) batteries were invented,especially in terms of development of new electrode materials,and yet,research is lacking on the underlying mechanisms of the systems.This is the first typical review focusing on the electrochemical mechanisms of metal-CO_(2) batteries that summarizes the current understanding of and provides insights into the thermodynamic reaction pathways,the kinetic characteristics,and the crucial factors determining the reaction mechanisms in alkali metal-CO_(2) batteries.The review starts with the fundamental concepts of alkali metal-CO_(2) batteries,followed by a comprehensive discussion of the working mechanisms on cathodes and anodes.Moreover,the operation mechanisms of state-of-the-art electrolytes,including liquid and(quasi-)solid-state electrolytes,are also described.Finally,we identify the unsolved problems in current alkali metal-CO_(2) batteries and propose potential topics for future research.Jiangfeng Lin Wanqing Song Caixia Xiao Jingnan Ding Zechuan Huang Cheng Zhong Jia Ding Wenbin Hu 2023Carbon Energy2023,5,5:0
