| 2 | Experimental and DFT study on cerium inclusions in clean steels显示文摘To provide insights into deforming Ce-O-S-Al inclusions in steels and improving the mechanical properties,the evolution process of such harmful inclusions in clean steels was investigated by thermodynamic calculation,metallographic examination and first-principles calculation in this paper.For the tested IF steel,the thermodynamic analysis results are consistent with the calculated formation enthalpy.After Ce addition,the inclusions are transformed from Al_(2)O_(3)and TiN-Al_(2)TiO_(5)-Al_(2)O_(3)to Ce2O_(3),Ce_(2)O_(2)S,CeAlO_(3),TiN-Al_(2)TiO_(5)-Ce_(2)O_(3)and TiN-Al_(2)TiO_(5)-Ce_(2)O_(2)S composite inclusions,which can be confirmed by metallographic examination.The elastic constants were calculated,and the bulk modulus,Young's modulus,shear modulus and Poisson's ratio were evaluated by the Voigt-Reuss-Hill(VRH)approximation.All inclusions except Ce_(2)O_(3)show apparent brittleness.TiN,Al_(2)O_(3),Al_(2)TiO_(5)and CeAlO_(3)present much higher hardness than iron matrix,while the hardness of Ce2O_(3)or Ce_(2)O_(2)S is close to that of iron matrix.The thermal expansion coefficients of Ce_(2)O_(3)and CeAlO_(3)are close to that of iron matrix,whereas,Ce_(2)O_(2)S inclusion has largely different thermal expansion coefficient from iron matrix and may deteriorate the steel performance at higher temperatures.The relatively small differences between Ce inclusions and iron matrix in terms of hardness,toughness,brittleness,and thermal expansion coefficient can explain the improvement of the mechanical properties of the tested steel. | Xiangjun Liu Jichun Yang Fang Zhang Xiaoyang Fu Hongwei Li Changqiao Yang | 2021 | Journal of Rare Earths2021,39,4: | 6 |
| 3 | The potential of Clostridium autoethanogenum,a new single cell protein,in substituting fish meal in the diet of largemouth bass(Micropterus salmoides):Growth,feed utilization and intestinal histology显示文摘This study investigated the effects of replacing fishmeal with Clostridium autoethanogenum protein(CAP)on growth,feed utilization and intestinal histology of largemouth bass(Micropterus salmoides).The control diet contained 350 g/kg fishmeal,and then dietary fishmeal was decreased to 300 g/kg,250 g/kg,200 g/kg,150 g/kg and 100 g/kg by CAP inclusion,respectively(FM-30,FM-25,FM-20,FM-15,FM-10).The largemouth bass(110.0±1.0 g)were fed one of the six diets for 8 weeks.The groups of FM-30,FM-25 and FM-20 showed the similar weight gain(WG)and feed conversion ratio(FCR)to the control(P>0.05),while the WG of FM-10 group was decreased by 15.9%,and FCR increased by 0.12 when compared to the control(P<0.05).FM-15 and FM-10 groups had lower protein retention,lower villus height in intestine and higher serum malondialdehyde content than the control(P<0.05).The protease activity in FM-20,FM-15 and FM-10 groups was lower than that in the control(P<0.05),but no difference was observed in crude protein digestibility among groups(P>0.05).In conclusion,CAP could replace 150 g/kg fishmeal in diet(350 g/kg fishmeal)without adverse effects on growth,feed utilization and intestinal histology of largemouth bass. | Pinxian Yang Xiaoqin Li Bowen Song Ming He Chaoyi Wu Xiangjun Leng | 2023 | Aquaculture and Fisheries2023,8,1: | 6 |

| 6 | LiFePO_4/C via fluoride doping显示文摘Non-stoichiometric compound fluoride-doped LiFePO4/C cathode materials were synthesized via solid-state reaction using MgF2 and AlF3 as dopant. The fluoride-doped LiFePO4/C samples were characterized by X-ray diffraction (XRD), scanning electron microscopy (SEM), transmission electron microscopy (TEM), and electrochemical testing. The results show that the materials are well crystallized and fluoride doping cannot change the space structure of LiFePO4. Slight amounts of Fe2O3 with no fluoride impurity were detected. Charge-discharge curves show that fluoride-doped samples have higher capacity at low rates compared with undoped LiFePO4/C. AlF3-doped samples have highest capacity at high discharge current. Both doped samples have larger polarization voltage than undoped samples. | 8 | Optimized design and field experiment of a staggered vibrating subsoiler for conservation tillage显示文摘Soil compaction is a common problem facing conservation fields that restricts crop root growth and causes yield decrease.Subsoil techniques have been developed to break up the compaction layer.However,subsoil implement requires large draft power that hampered the development of subsoil techniques for most of developing countries due to lack of large scale tractors.Aiming to optimize the penetration resistance of the subsoiler and create a good working environment for the operators,a staggered vibrating subsoiler was developed.A new staggered vibrating mechanism was designed to generate the staggered vibration of the shanks meanwhile the V-shape shanks arrangement was adopted to keep relative balance for the subsoiler.In order to obtain optimum working parameters of the vibration frequency and forward speed,the trajectory of shanks was simulated by using the MATLAB software.The forward speed of 2-3 km/h with vibration frequency of 12 Hz was recommended to acquire an effective decrease in draft force.Field performance of this subsoiler was evaluated in terms of the draft force,power requirement and tractor wheel slippage.By comparing the two operation modes,staggered vibrating(SV)and rigid(NV)of shanks,the decrease ratios of draft force for SV were determined by 16.97%,12.12%and 9.02%at forward speeds of 2.2 km/h,2.6 km/h and 3.1 km/h,respectively.This is better than the research for the 1SZ-460 vibratory subsoiler that was decreased by 9.09%in draft force.The power requirement for SV was not significantly greater than that for NV.The obviously decreased wheel slippage was observed for SV by decrease of 12.47%,17.96%and 21.79%at forward speeds of 2.2 km/h,2.6 km/h and 3.1 km/h,respectively.In conclusion,the staggered vibrating subsoiler presents preferable working performance and is recommended to be applied in subsoil tillage process for developing countries. | Yunxia Wang Abdalla N Osman Dongxing Zhang Li Yang Tao Cui Xiangjun Zhong | 2019 | International Journal of Agricultural and Biological Engineering2019,12,1: | 2 |

| 13 | Luminescence Chronology and Radiocarbon Reservoir Age Determination of Lacustrine Sediments from the Heihai Lake,NE Qinghai-Tibetan Plateau and Its Paleoclimate Implications显示文摘The accurately determining the lake ^(14)C reservoir age has a crucial significance for climatic reconstruction. In this study, the optically stimulated luminescence(OSL) dating method is employed to date samples from highstand lacustrine sediments, palaeoshoreline, fluvial terrace, and the alluvial fan of the Heihai Lake catchment. Accelerator mass spectrometry(AMS) ^(14)C dating was also used to date fossil plants from highstand lacustrine sediments. Based on the calculations of linear regression with OSL against radiocarbon ages for same layers of two sections, the quantitative ^(14)C reservoir ages were estimated to lie between 3 353 and 3 464 yr during the 1.8 to 2.4 ka, which showed temporal variation. The sources of old carbon are the dissolution of carbonate bedrocks distributed along the Kunlun Mountain. The OSL ages of the different members of the hydatogen sedimentary system at Heihai Lake catchment indicate that a stronger hydrologic condition occurred from 3.0±0.2 to 1.8±0.2 ka, with a maximum lake level of 9 m higher than present. This humid stage was widely recorded in different sediments on the QTP and Chinese Loess Plateau(CLP), indicating its broad synchronicity across the Asian Summer Monsoon region.
