1Therapeutic imaging window of cerebral infarction revealed by multisequence magnetic resonance imaging An animal and clinical study显示文摘In this study, we established a Wistar rat model of right middle cerebral artery occlusion and observed pathological imaging changes (T2-weighted imaging [T2WI], T2FLAIR, and diffusion-weighted imaging [DWI]) following cerebral infarction. The pathological changes were divided into three phases: early cerebral infarction, middle cerebral infarction, and late cerebral infarction. In the early cerebral infarction phase (less than 2 hours post-infarction), there was evidence of intracellular edema, which improved after reperfusion. This improvement was defined as the ischemic penumbra. In this phase, a high DWI signal and a low apparent diffusion coefficient were observed in the right basal ganglia region. By contrast, there were no abnormal T2WI and T2FLAIR signals. For the middle cerebral infarction phase (2-4 hours post-infarction), a mixed edema was observed. After reperfusion, there was a mild improvement in cell edema, while the angioedema became more serious. A high DWI signal and a low apparent diffusion coefficient signal were observed, and some rats showed high T2WI and T2FLAIR signals. For the late cerebral infarction phase (4-6 hours post-infarction), significant angioedema was visible in the infarction site. After reperfusion, there was a significant increase in angioedema, while there was evidence of hemorrhage and necrosis. A mixed signal was observed on DWI, while a high apparent diffusion coefficient signal, a high T2WI signal, and a high T2FLAIR signal were also observed. All 86 cerebral infarction patients were subjected to T2WI, T2FLAIR, and DWI. MRI results of clinic data similar to the early infarction phase of animal experiments were found in 51 patients, for which 10 patients (10/51) had an onset time greater than 6 hours. A total of 35 patients had MRI results similar to the middle and late infarction phase of animal experiments, of which eight patients (8/35) had an onset time less than 6 hours. These data suggest that defining the 'therapeutic time window' as the time 6 hours after infarction may not be suitable for all patients. 2Gene interference regulates aquaporin-4 expression in swollen tissue of rats with cerebral ischemic edema Correlation with variation in apparent diffusion coefficient显示文摘To investigate the effects of mRNA interference on aquaporin-4 expression in swollen tissue of rats with ischemic cerebral edema, and diagnose the significance of diffusion-weighted MRI, we injected 5 μL shRNA- aquaporin-4 (control group) or siRNA- aquaporin-4 solution (1:800) (RNA interference group) into the rat right basal ganglia immediately before occlusion of the middle cerebral artery. At 0.25 hours after occlusion of the middle cerebral artery, diffusion-weighted MRI displayed a high signal; within 2 hours, the relative apparent diffusion coefficient decreased markedly, aquaporin-4 expression increased rapidly, and intracellular edema was obviously aggravated; at 4 and 6 hours, the relative apparent diffusion coefficient slowly returned to control levels, aquaporin-4 expression slightly increased, and angioedema was observed. In the RNA interference group, during 0.25- 6 hours after injection of siRNA- aquaporin-4 solution, the relative apparent diffusion coefficient slightly fluctuated and aquaporin-4 expression was upregulated; during 0.5-4 hours, the relative apparent diffusion coefficient was significantly higher, while aquaporin-4 expression was significantly lower when compared with the control group, and intracellular edema was markedly reduced; at 0.25 and 6 hours, the relative apparent diffusion coefficient and aquaporin-4 expression were similar when compared with the control group; obvious angioedema remained at 6 hours. Pearson's correlation test results showed that aquaporin-4 expression was negatively correlated with the apparent diffusion coefficient (r = -0.806, P < 0.01). These findings suggest that upregulated aquaporin-4 expression is likely to be the main molecular mechanism of intracellular edema and may be the molecular basis for decreased relative apparent diffusion coefficient. Aquaporin-4 gene interference can effectively inhibit the upregulation of aquaporin-4 expression during the stage of intracellular edema with time-effectiveness. 3The program structure designing and optimizing tests of GRAPES physics显示文摘According to the modularization and standardization of program structure in Global/Regional Assimilation and Prediction System (GRAPES), the plug-compatible and transplantable regional meso-scale and global middle-range physics software package is established. The package's component integrality is comparative with the other advanced models physics. A three-level structure of connecting GRAPES physics and dynamic frame has been constructed. The friendly interface is designed for users to plug in their own physics packages. Phenomenon of grid-point storm rainfall in numerical prediction is analyzed with the numerical tests. The scheme of air vertical velocity calculation is improved. Optimizing tests of physics schemes are performed with the correlative parameters adjusting. The results show that the false grid-point storm rainfall is removed by precipitation scheme improving. 4A new-generation sand and dust storm forecasting system GRAPES_CUACE/Dust:Model development,verification and numerical simulation显示文摘Based on the new-generation Global/Regional Assimilation and PrEdiction System(GRAPES) developed by the Numerical Prediction Research Center,China Meteorological Administration and the Chinese Unified Atmospheric Chemistry Environment for Dust Atmospheric Chemistry Module(CUACE/Dust) developed by the Centre for Atmosphere Watch and Services(CAWAS) of the Chinese Academy of Meteorological Sciences(CAMS) ,the China sand and dust storm forecasting system GRAPES /CUACE-Dust model has been established.The latest data of land desertification,optical properties of China sand and dust aerosols,daily soil moisture and snow cover over China main land was introduced in this system.The system showed good performance in mass conservation.The comparisons of real-time prediction outputs with surface observations and aerosol indices derived from TOMS ozone spectrophotometers(TOMS AI) indicate that the model can predict the outbreak,development,transport and depletion processes of sand and dust storms accurately over China and the East Asian region.The system makes real-time quantitative prediction of a series of elements including sand and dust injection from the surface,dry and wet deposition amount,dust concentration and optical depth.We selected 7 major dust storms occurring in April 2006 and analyzed the spatiotemporal distribution patterns of dust emission,dry and wet deposition and atmospheric load in this paper.The results showed that about 225 million tons of dust were emitted into the atmosphere from the deserts over east Asia in that month.The 3 major sand and dust sources were just as the following:The deserts in northern Inner Mongolia and the boundary area around China-Mongolia were the first dust sources with a contribution of 153 million tons accounting for 68%of the total emission.The Taklimakan Desert ranked second and contributed approximately 40 million tons accounting for 17%of the dust emission.The Onqin Daga Sandland emitted about 15 million tons or 7%of the total emission.The contributions from other deserts,sandy lands and abandoned farmlands were about only 8%of the total dust emission.The total deposition over the East Asian region in April 2006 was 136 million tons.The regional distribution of dust deposition showed that the 3 major sources were also the major deposition areas.The deposition amount in the 3 major sources accounted for 78%of the total with about 135 million tons falling back to the source regions.The secondary deposition area was the China mainland downriver,where more than 2 million tons deposited accounting for 16%of the total deposition.The deposition over the region east of 120°E including China off-shore regions,Korean Peninsula,Japan and the West Pacific took only 6%of the total deposition,which was about 850000 tons.The analysis on dry and wet deposition showed that dry deposition dominated in the process,accounting for 94%of the total sand and dust depositions in the period and wet deposition only was around for 6%,since it was generally dry with less rainfall over northern China in April.WANG Hong GONG ShanLing ZHANG HongLiang CHEN Yong SHEN XueShun CHEN DeHui XUE JiShan SHEN YuanFang WU XiangJun JIN ZhiYan 2010Chinese Science Bulletin2010,55,7:10
5A modified rheological model of natural debris flows显示文摘The two coefficients of the linear dimensionless viscous-dispersive mixture model have been modified according to their rheological properties of different types of viscous debris flows based on the observation and experimental data of debris flows and their slurries in the field, and then a rheological model of hyperconcentrated debris flows has been derived. 6MRS and diffusion tensor image in mild traumatic brain injuries显示文摘Objective:To analyze characters of magnetic resonance spectroscopy(MRS) and diffusion tensor imaging(DTI) in the diagnosis of mild trauma brain injuries(MTBI) in frontal lobe and to compare with conventional magnetic resonance imaging(MRI).Methods:A total of 21 patients were selected,who all aged 12-51 years old and had injury within 24 hours.Computer tomography (CT) and the Glasgow Coma Scale were used to evaluate the degree of injury.All patients were diagnosed as MTBI,and 19 had conventional MRI,MRS and DTI.The major parameters of MRS were Probe-P sequence,TE= 144 or 35 ms,and both single voxel spectrum and chemical shift imging were included.The major parameters of DTI were diffusion directions =15,b value = 1000 s/mm^2. Frational anisotropic(FA) map and average ADC map were obtained to evaluate DTI result. Positive deletion ratio was observed and the imaging changes were compared between injured side and normal side.Results:All 21 patients had CT scan and Glasgow scale.A total of 19 patients had conventional MRI.DTI and MRS.Results of CT and conventional MRI showed no significant abnormality in lobe,and Glasgow scale showed mild type.MRS result showed significant decrease in N-acetyl aspartate(NAA) and NAA/creatine(Cr) in 13 cases(68.4%) (P<0.001),and increase in lactic acid(Lac) in 7 cases(36.8%).FA mapping of the frontal lobe displayed significant changes in 7 cases(36.8%),with 5 out of the 7 cases having increase in FA value.And there was no significant difference in average ADC.Conclusions:MRS and DTI might be more sensible than other methods,such as CT and conventional MRI in diagnosis of MTBI.The particular changes were reduced NAA and increased Lac for MRS.and increased FA values for DTI.Jing Chen Hu Jin Ying Zhang Qizhou Liang Haiyan Liao Ziyi Guo Xiangjun Han 2012Asian Pacific Journal of Tropical Medicine2012,5,1:6
7Determination of Content of Amino Acid in Abalone by Precolumn Derivatization and its Nutritional Value Evaluation显示文摘[Objectives] This study was conducted to optimize the determination conditions of amino acids from abalone. [Methods] The sample was treated by acid hydrolysis method and subjected to 2,4-2 nitro fluorobenzene column derivatization. The amino acid content in abalone was determined by HLPC,and the nutritional value of the amino acids was evaluated with egg protein model put forward by Institute of Nutrition and Food Hygiene,Chinese Academy of Preventive Medicine. [Results] Abalone contains full amino acids. According to the FAO/WHO ideal,it is a high-quality protein source and suitable for supplement of protein source for human body. 8Research on Large Volume Airgun Source Signal Reception in Hutubi, Xinjiang Using Seismic Network Data显示文摘We used data from the Xinjiang Digital Seismic Network and PSD( Power Spectral Density) method to perform noise level assessment for six stations. We calculated the median of the power spectral density to evaluate the noise level of different stations. After the comparison of the power spectral density of different stations and the airgun signal recognition,we found that noise level of stations with recognizable airgun source signals is lower than that of stations without recognizable signals. The largest difference of the power spectral density is 40 d B,and the smallest is 15 d B. 10Optimization of the Ultrasonic-assisted Extraction Process for Protocatechuic Acid from Emilia sonchifolia DC by Response Surface Methodology显示文摘[Objectives] This study was conducted to optimize the extraction process of protocatechuic acid from Emilia sonchifolia DC. [Methods] The optimal extraction conditions were determined by single factor,response surface analysis and variance analysis,and the content of protocatechuic acid was determined by HPLC. [Results] The protocatechuic acid standard curve equation was: y = 1 435 x + 8 403,R^2= 0. 999 8,indicating a good linear relationship. The optimal extraction conditions were as follows: a temperature at 80 ℃,an extraction time of 1 h,a material-to-liquid ratio at 1:10 and an ultrasonic power of 600 W,and the content of protocatechuic acid extracted was 1. 93 mg/g. The method showed a RSD of 0. 41%,less than 2%,and the detection limit was 0. 0000047261 g/ml.The experimental sample X1 was the low-level 0. 1 mg/ml standard solution,which showed recovery of protocatechuic acid between 100.8% and 105.2%,with a RSD of 0. 013%;and the sample X2 was the high-level 1. 0 mg/ml standard solution,which exhibited recovery between 100. 6% and 102. 2%,with a RSD of 0.076%. 12BTEX anomalies used as indicators of submarine oil and gas reservoirs显示文摘It is a conventional method for petroleum prospecting to generally use paraffin hydrocarbon as basic indexes of oil and gas. This conventional geochemical technology, however, shows some limits in the prospecting as paraffin is vulnerable to influences from human and biologic activities. Consequently, BTEX (short for benzene, toluene, ethyl benzene and xylem, which are direct biomarkers) among aromatic hydrocarbon series has been taken into account for the oil and gas prediction. Domestic and foreign study results demonstrate that BTEX is hardly disturbed and can well indicate oil and gas reservoirs. Based on measured data from a South China Sea area, the present authors have used self-developed visual assessment software for petroleum prospecting has been used to process data, strip background anomalies, and outline significant BTEX anomalies. 16Strain rate sensitivity of tensile properties in high Nb containing TiAl alloys显示文摘The effect of strain rate on the yield strength of high Nb containing TiAl alloy was studied. The results show that the strain rate sensitivity varies with the test temperature, and the yield strength is not sensitive to the strain rate at room temperature but sig- nificantly sensitive to the strain rate at high temperature. An increase of the strain rate or a decrease of the temperature results in an obvious change of fracture mode. 17Cobalt and nitrogen codoped porous carbon as superior bifunctional electrocatalyst for oxygen reduction and hydrogen evolution reaction in alkaline medium显示文摘Cobalt and nitrogen codoped carbon materials(Co-N-C) were fabricated by pyrolysis of the mixture of poly(4-vinylpyridine) and cobalt chloride using SiO_2 nanoparticles as hard template, which were the first transition metal/nitrogen-codoped carbon bifunctional electrocatalyst derived from noncarbonizable polymer for ORR and HER. The as-made Co-N-C possessed hierarchical pore structure and high specific surface area, achieving excellent electrocatalytic performances for ORR and HER. Its ORR catalytic performances were comparable to those of Pt/C catalyst and its HER catalytic performances were superior to those of most doped carbon catalysts in KOH electrolyte. 18Preparation and Characterization of Potassium Monopersulfate/Ethyl Cellulose Microcapsules and Their Sustained Release Performance显示文摘Environmental cleaning is an important aspect of bacteria control.Ethyl cellulose microcapsules containing potassium monopersulfate(PMCM)were prepared by emulsified solvent diffusion method.The chemical structure and microstructure of the obtained PMCM was characterized by methods of Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy(FT-IR),optical microscopy,scanning electron microscopy and X-ACT energy dispersive X-ray spectroscopy.The SEM micrographs of the PMCM containing 21.6%of C,46.8%of O,10.7%of S and 19.4%of K was relatively smooth.Thermal stability,sustained release performance,and antimicrobial activity of PMCM were investigated.The results showed that the drug loading and encapsulation efficiency of PMCM were 30.3%and 42.6%respectively.Potassium monopersulfate was fully released after 8 h,following a Fickian diffusion mechanism.Results showed that the microcapsules prepared with a high concentration of potassium monopersulfate solution showed a good antimicrobial effect.The microcapsule wall of the resulting PMCM increased with increasing ethyl cellulose content and had high thermal stability from the data of 69%residue rate.The excellent thermal stability and high sustained release performance of PMCM showed high application value.Qiaoguang Li Xuming Yan Jialong Chen Xugang Shu Puyou Jia Xiangjun Liang 2021Journal of Renewable Materials2021,9,10:2
19DNA Barcode Screening and Preliminary Study on Phylogeny of Sea Snake Based on Genes COI and cytb显示文摘[Objectives]The most common gene fragment used in animal DNA barcode technology is COI,but it is not necessarily suitable for all species.This study was conducted to screen genes suitable for the DNA barcode of sea snakes.[Methods]All COI and cytb gene sequences on GenBank were searched and downloaded.After the comparison with Mega software,clustering trees of MrBayes system were established.[Results]Interspecies distances were greater than intraspecies distances for the two genes.The topological structures of their molecular hierarchical clustering trees were clear,and the support rates were high.[Conclusions]Therefore,it is concluded that not the DNA barcode of each species must be gene COI.Cytb is more suitable in terms of the mitochondrial gene of sea snakes.Xiangjun WANG Wen CHEN Haiying SU 2021Agricultural Biotechnology2021,10,6:2

Fertilized eggs were collected at 0,30,90 s,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10,11,12,13,14,15 min post-insemination respectively,which were fixed by Smith's solution,embedded by paraffins and stained by H. E. According to the characteristics of Epinephelus coioides eggs,tissue section method was modified. The results showed that the sperms of Epinephelus lanceolatus rapidly entered the eggs of Epinephelus coioides at 30 s- 1min post-insemination. Observation results of tissue sections showed that mature eggs of Epinephelus coioides remained at metaphase of secondary maturation division. The eggs were activated after sperm penetration into the egg. With the development of secondary maturation division,at 2 min post-insemination,eggs reached the metaphase of secondary maturation division; at 3- 6 min post-insemination,sperm asters appeared; at 5 min post-insemination,eggs extruded secondary polar body; at 7- 15 min post-insemination,male pronucleus and female pronucleus moved closer to each other and fused finally,forming a clear junction line; subsequently,zygote nucleus formed and karyotheca became faint; at 15 min post-insemination,first karyokinetic division was developed.Tingchang WU Jian LUO Mengmeng CHEN Guohua CHEN Xiangjun MENG 2014Agricultural Biotechnology2014,3,2:2
