1Improving Joint Features and Mechanical Properties of Pinless Fiction Stir Welding of Alcald 2A12-T4 Aluminum Alloy显示文摘As a new solid state welding,pinless friction stir welding(PFSW) can be used to join thin-wall structures.In this study,four new pinless tools with different groove distributions were designed and manufactured in order to enrich technological storage of PFSW and obtain sound joint with high quality of alclad 2A12-T4 alloy.The results show that the small-obliquity tool is detrimental to the transfer of plasticized materials,resulting in the formation of kissing bond defect.For the through-groove tool or the large-curvature tool,bigger flashes form on the joint surface and alclad layer is observed in the nugget zone(NZ),deteriorating mechanical properties.Compared with the above-mentioned three tools,using the six-groove tool with rational curvature and obliquity can not only yield sound joint with small flashes and thickness reduction,but also prevent alclad from flowing into NZ,which has potential to weld thin alclad aluminum alloys.Meanwhile,the tensile strength and elongation of joint using the six-groove tool reach the maximum values of 362 MPa and 8.3%,up to 85.1% and 64% of BM.Zhenlei Liu Hutao Cui Shude Ji Minqiang Xu Xiangchen Meng 2016Journal of Materials Science & Technology2016,32,12:7
2Improving friction stir weldability of Al/Mg alloys via ultrasonically diminishing pin adhesion显示文摘Formation of intermetallic compounds(IMCs) during friction stir welding(FSW) of aluminum/magnesium(Al/Mg) alloys easily results in the pin adhesion and then deteriorates joint formation. The severe pin adhesion transformed the tapered-and-screwed pin into a tapered pin at a low welding speed of 30 mm/min. The pin adhesion problem was solved with the help of ultrasonic.The weldability of Al/Mg alloys was significantly improved due to the good material flow induced by mechanical vibration and the fragments of the IMCs on the surface of a rotating pin caused by acoustic streaming, respectively. A sound joint with ultrasonic contained long Al/Mg interface joining length and complex mixture of Al/Mg alloys in the stir zone, thereby achieving perfect metallurgical bonding and mechanical interlocking. The ultrasonic could broaden process window and then improve tensile properties. 3A general strategy for the reliable joining of Al/Ti dissimilar alloys via ultrasonic assisted friction stir welding显示文摘Ultrasonic assisted friction stir welding(UaFSW) was used to join 6061-T6 aluminum and Ti6Al4 V alloys.A small plunge depth endowed with the low heat input was used and the sound joints without obvious thickness reduction were achieved. A diffusion-type bonding without the intermetallic compounds layer was observed at the joint interface. The ultrasonic improved the diffusion thickness and decreased the average size of grains and titanium alloy fragments. A hook-like structure was formed at the bottom interface of the UaFSW joint, which improved the bonding length and the mechanical interlocking. The microhardness of the stir zone was increased because of the further grain refinement induced by ultrasonic. 4The Portevin-Le Chatelier effect of gradient nanostructured 5182 aluminum alloy by surface mechanical attrition treatment显示文摘Nanocrystalline surface layers and gradient nanostructure in 5182 aluminum alloy have been produced through surface mechanical attrition treatment(SMAT). The results indicate that the gradient nanostructure can not only improve the mechanical properties of 5182 Al alloy, but also has a certain effect on the Portevin-Le Chatelier(PLC) effect. The yield and ultimate tensile strength of 5182 Al alloy with SMAT are significantly improved combining with the decrease of fracture elongation compared with the as-received one. The PLC effect of 5182 Al alloy could be effectively postponed by the formation of gradient nanostructure after SMAT. It leads to the increase of critical strain of the PLC effect, more concentrated distribution of serrated strain, and increase of average stress amplitude in special strain range. The influence of grain size and gradient nanostructure on the PLC effect of 5182 Al alloy was also discussed in detail. Grain refinement could sharply increase the density of dislocations and hinder the movement of dislocations, which results in the decrease of moving speed of dislocations and the more concentrated distribution of solute atoms. The solute atoms would aggregate to form nano precipitates and further impede movement of dislocation. 5Experimental Study of Integrated Ebullated-bed and Fixed-bed for Hydrotreating Mid-Low Temperature Coal Tar to Clean Fuel显示文摘A new hydrotreating technology integrating the ebullated-bed(EB) and the fixed-bed(FB) hydrogenation was proposed to investigate the efficiency for hydrotreating mid- low-temperature coal tar to clean fuel, and multiple tests at the bench scale were carried out. The results showed that the distillates obtained from EB reactors were greatly upgraded and could meet the requirements of FB unit without discarding any tail oil. The naphtha produced from FB reactors could be fed to the catalytic reforming unit, while a high quality diesel was also obtained. The unconverted oil(UCO) could be further hydrocracked to clean fuel. It is found that the removal of impurities from the coal tar oil is related with the molecular aggregation structure and composition of the coal tar. 6Joint formation mechanism of high depth-to-width ratio friction stir welding显示文摘High depth-to-width ratio friction stir welding is an attractive method for the joining demands of alum inum profiles, which is sparked with its extrem ely low heat input and high mechanical performance. In this study, the joint form ation mechanism was studied by a num erical model of plastic flow combined with experim ental approaches. A fluid-solid-interaction algorithm was proposed to establish the coupling model, and the material to be welded was treated as non-New tonian fluid. The thread structure and the milling facets on tool pin prom oted drastic turbulence of material. The thread structure converged the plasticized material by its inclined plane, and then drove the attached material to refill the welds. The milling facets brought about the periodic dynamic material flow. The thread structure and the milling facets increased the strain rate greatly under the extremely low heat input, which avoided the welding defects. The condition of the peak tem perature of 648 K and the strain rate of 151 s^-1 attributed to the lowest coarsening degree of precipitate. The tensile strength of the joint reached 265 MPa, equivalent to 86% of base material. 7Verification of Lactobacillus brevis tolerance to simulated gastric juice and the potential effects of postbiotic gamma-aminobutyric acid in streptozotocin-induced diabetic mice显示文摘The therapeutic effect of gamma-aminobutyric acid(GABA)on diabetes was spread as one of the alarming epidemics worldwide.The study aims to investigate the function of Lactobacillus brevis KLDS_(1.0727) and KLDS_(1.0373) strains as glutamic acid decarboxylase 65(GAD65)carriers capable of generating GABA by comparing in vitro free and freeze-dried models and GABA intervention in vivo.PCR amplification of gad and in vitro i.e.,(growth rate,viability at different pH,bile tolerance,and survivability in simulated gastric juice)were performed.In vivo experiments were conducted in 7 groups of C57BL/6J mice.Each group was injected with streptozotocin(Cont_(STZ),INSSTZ,LAC1_(STZ),LAC_(1MFDSTZ),LAC_(2STZ),LAC_(2MFDSTZ))daily except for the control(Cont).One group was injected with insulin(INSSTZ).The body weight and hyperglycemia in the blood were assessed weekly,post-euthanasia blood plasma parameters,insulin,and histological examination were evaluated.Results indicated L.brevis strains demonstrated a great tolerance to bile and simulated gastric juice in vitro(P<0.05).Cont_(STZ) had the highest average glucose level(6.84±6.46)mmol/L while INS_(STZ) expressed dramatically decreed in glucose level and displayed a significant decline in the average of weekly blood glucose(−5.74±3.08)mmol/L.The lowest body weight(ContSTZ)was(19.30±0.25)g.Based on the blood plasma analysis,L.brevis strains improved good cholesterol properties,liver and kidney functions,where most of these parameters fall within the average the reference range and prevent the development of symptoms of type 1 diabetes in vivo.As recommended,L.brevis should be commonly distributed as a postbiotic GABA in pharmaceutical and nutritional applications.Amro Abdelazez Heba Abdelmotaal Smith Etareri Evivie Maha Bikheet Rokayya Sami Hassan Mohamed Xiangchen Meng 2022Food Science and Human Wellness2022,11,1:1
8Towards Friction Stir Remanufacturing of High‑Strength Aluminum Components显示文摘Volumetric defects in high-strength aluminum alloy components were repaired via friction stir remanufacturing(FSR).Various consumable pins made of AA7075-T6 were designed.Top diameters of the consumable pins afected material fow,which ensured that the materials at the repairing interface were forged to metallurgical bonding.Conical angles determined load transfer besides material fow,which afected the fracture of the pins before the dwelling stage.Sound repaired components were achieved when the conical angle of the consumable pin was 1°larger than that of the volumetric defect.The ultimate tensile strength and elongation of the repaired components reached 445.9 MPa and 9.6%,respectively.The design criteria of the consumable pin in the FSR was established,which provided valuable references to repair volumetric defects in high-strength aluminum components.Xiangchen Meng Yuming Xie Xiaotian Ma Mingyang Liang Xiaoyang Peng Shiwei Han Lei Kan Xin Wang Sihao Chen Yongxian Huang 2023Acta Metallurgica Sinica(English Letters)2023,36,1:1
9Insight analysis of the cross-sensitization of multiple fish parvalbumins via the Th1/Th2 immunological balance and cytokine release from the perspective of safe consumption of fish显示文摘Objectives:Parvalbumin(PV)is the primary allergen found in fish and is highly conserved.According to some studies,some patients with fish allergy are allergic to only one species of fish but are tolerant to others;however,the underlying mechanism has not been identified.Materials and Methods:The cross-reactivity of these seven fish parvalbumins based on turbot PV-treated mice was determined using BALB/c mouse and RBL-2H3 cell models.Meanwhile,immunoinformatic tools were used to assess cross-reactivity.Results:The results indicated that the seven species of fishes(turbot,large yellow croaker,sea bass,grass carp,common carp,conger eel and Japanese eel)studied exhibited varying degrees of cross-reactivity,with the highest cross-reactivity being between turbot and bass and the lowest being between turbot and conger eel.The bioinformatics analysis revealed that the sequence homology of parvalbumin between conger eel and turbot was the lowest,which may account for the conger eel and turbot cross-reaction being so limited.Parvalbumin was a potent cross-reactive allergen found in turbot,large yellow croaker,sea bass,grass carp,common carp,conger eel and Japanese eel,and the cross-reactivity between conger eel and turbot parvalbumin was the weakest.Conclusion:This study demonstrated that the cross-reactivity between conger eel PV and turbot PV was the weakest.Yeting Wu Youyou Lu Yuhao Huang Hong Lin Xuewen Dang Yujie Jing Zhaocheng Meng Xiangchen Wang Zhenxing Li 2022Food Quality and Safety2022,6,4:0
102-4 First Isochronous Mass Measurement in Neutron-rich Region at CSRe显示文摘Mass is one of the fundamental properties of atomic nuclei. Isochronous mass spectrometry (IMS), using astorage ring combined with an in-flight separator, has been shown to be a powerful tool for mass measurementof exotic nuclei[1]. Recently, masses of many proton-rich nuclides were accurately determined at the HIRFL-CSRfacility[2]. In this paper, we described the first isochronous mass measurement of neutron-rich nuclides at CSRe.This experiment was performed at the end of 2011. In the experiment, the primary beam of 86Kr28+ ions wasaccumulated and accelerated to an energy of 460.65 MeV/u in the synchrotron CSRm. 13Green recycling of short-circuited garnet-type electrolyte for high-performance solid-state lithium batteries显示文摘Solid-state lithium batteries(SSLBs)solve safety issues and are potentially energy-dense alternatives to next-generation energy storage systems.Battery green recycling routes are responsible for the widespread use of SSLBs due to minimizing environmental contamination,reducing production costs,and providing a sustainable solution for resources,e.g.,saving rare earth elements(La,Ta,etc.).Herein,a solid-state recycling strategy is proposed to achieve green recycling of the crucial component solidstate electrolytes(SSEs)in spent SSLBs.The short-circuited garnet Li_(6.5)La_(3)Zr_(1.5)Ta_(0.5)O_(12)(LLZTO)is broken into fine particles and mixed with fresh particles to improve sintering activity and achieve high packing density.The continuous Li absorption process promotes sufficient grain fusion and guarantees the transformation from tetragonal phase to pure cubic phase for high-performance recycled LLZTO.The Li-ion conductivity reaches 5.80×10^(-4)S cm-1with a relative density of 95.9%.Symmetric Li cell with asrecycled LLZTO shows long-term cycling stability for 700 h at 0.3 mA cm^(-2)without any voltage hysteresis.Full cell exhibits an excellent cycling performance with a discharge capacity of 141.5 mA h g^(-1)and a capacity retention of 92.1%after 400 cycles(0.2C).This work develops an environmentally friendly and economically controllable strategy to recycle SSE from spent SSLBs,guiding future directions of SSLBs large-scale industrial application and green recycling study.Yongxian Huang Zhiwei Qin Cheng Shan Yuming Xie Xiangchen Meng Delai Qian Gang He Dongxin Mao Long Wan 2023Journal of Energy Chemistry2023,,5:0

16Hypoxic-ischemic encephalopathy induced cognitive decline secondary to upper gastrointestinal bleeding: a case report显示文摘Hypoxic-ischemic encephalopathy(HIE)occurs more in neonatal and rarely in adults.In adults,HIE is commonly caused by carbon monoxide(CO)poisoning,shock,cardiac arrest,respiratory depression,anesthesia and drug overdose.[1–3]In patients with acute gastrointestinal bleeding,decreased circulating blood supply causes cerebral ischemia and hypoxia,leading to dizziness,syncope and even sudden death.However,these conditions are more common especially in elderly patients with cerebrovascular stenosis,acute massive blood loss,using hemostatic agents,and high-risk factors of cardiovascular and cerebrovascular disease.[4]Here,we reported a middle-aged male patient,who was diagnosed with HIE after upper gastrointestinal bleeding without these high-risk factors.Rui Wei Danyang Jing Xiangchen Meng Hongtao Wei 2023World Journal of Emergency Medicine2023,14,4:0
