1Predictive values of multidetector-row computed tomography combined with serum tumor biomarkers in preoperative lymph node metastasis of gastric cancer显示文摘Objective: Multidetector-row computed tomography(MDCT) and serum tumor biomarkers are commonly used to evaluate the preoperative lymph node metastasis and the clinical staging of gastric cancer(GC). This study intends to evaluate the clinical predictive value of MDCT and serum tumor biomarkers in lymph node metastasis of GC.Methods: The clinicopathologic data of 445 GC patients who underwent radical gastrectomy were retrospectively analyzed to evaluate the diagnostic value of MDCT and serum tumor biomarkers in lymph node metastatic staging of GC before surgery.Results: With the multinomial logistic regression analysis, the independent relative factors of lymph node metastasis of GC were identified as tumor size, depth of tumor invasion, vessel invasion, vascular embolus, and soft tissue invasion. The optimal critical value of the short diameter of lymph nodes detected by MDCT scanning for evaluation of preoperative lymph node metastasis was 6.0 mm, with 75.7% as predictive accuracy of lymph node metastasis compared to the postoperative pathological results of GC patients. In addition, the critical value of the short diameter of lymph nodes combined with serum tumor biomarkers [including carbohydrate antigen(CA)-724 and CA-199] could show an enhancement of predictive sensitivity of lymph node metastasis(up to 89.3%) before surgery.Conclusions: MDCT combined with serum tumor biomarkers should be adopted to improve preoperative sensitivity and accuracy of lymph node metastasis for GC patients.Huihui Bai Jingyu Deng Nannan Zhang Huifang Liu Wenting He Jinyuan Liu Han Liang 2019Chinese Journal of Cancer Research2019,31,3:11
2Ultrathin flexible electrospun carbon nanofibers reinforced graphene microgasbags films with three-dimensional conductive network toward synergetic enhanced electromagnetic interference shielding显示文摘In recent years,graphene-based composite films have been greatly developed in the field of electromagnetic shielding interference(EMI).However,it is still a huge challenge to prepare graphene-based composite films with excellent mechanical properties,conductivity and electromagnetic shielding properties.In this work,we adopted a facile and effective method by annealing the alkali-treated polyacrylonitrile(aPAN)nanofibers reinforced graphene oxide(GO)composite films at 2000°C to obtain graphene-carbon nanofibers composite films(GCFs).Microscopically,carbon nanofibers(CNFs)were intercalated into the graphene sheets,and microgasbags structure was formed during the heat treatment process.The special structure makes GCFs have superior tensile strength(10.4 MPa)at 5%strain.After repeated folding over1000 times,the films still demonstrate excellent structural integrity and flexibility performance.Interestingly,the graphene-based composite films with 10 wt%a PAN nanofibers exhibit an extremely low density of about 0.678 g/cm^(3)and excellent electrical conductivity of 1.72×10^(5)S/m.Further,an outstanding electromagnetic shielding effectiveness(SE)of 55–57 d B was achieved,and the corresponding value of the specific SE/thickness can reach 67,601–70,059 d B·cm^(2)/g,which is the highest among reported graphenebased shielding materials.The significant electromagnetic shielding performance is due to the synergistic enhancement effect brought by the excellent conductivity of carbon nanofibers and graphene,the formed effective conductive network and the microgasbags structure.Electromagnetism simulation further clarified that the underlying mechanism should be mainly attributed to the conduction loss and multiple reflections caused by the special structure of GCFs.This work will provide new solutions for low density,high flexibility and excellent electromagnetic shielding properties materials in the next generation of foldable and wearable electronics.Likui Zhang Yao Chen Qian Liu Wenting Deng Yaoqun Yue Fanbin Meng 2022Journal of Materials Science & Technology2022,,16:8

4Oxidative dehydrogenation of ethane with carbon dioxide over silica molecular sieves supported chromium oxides:Pore size effect显示文摘SBA-15 with varied pore size from 4 to 8 nm were synthesized by tuning the temperature of hydrothermal treatment,the supports were then used to load the active phase Cr Oxthrough a conventional impregnation method.The resulting catalysts were characterized by small/wide angle XRD,N_(2) adsorption/desorption,FT-IR,TEM-EDX,XPS,TPR and CO_(2)-TPD to study the feature of structure,surface chemical state,redox and basicity.It was found from these results that the metal species could be well dispersed on catalysts with larger pore size.Cr^(6+)species could enter into the framework by substituting the Si atoms of SBA-15,and Cr^(3+)mainly exist on extra framework.Pore size had profound effects on reducibility,surface composition and basicity.Cr^(6+)species were necessary to activate the C-H bonds of alkanes,while the basicity played an important role in activating C-O bonds of CO_(2).The best performances were achieved over the sample Cr supported on SBA-15 with a pore diameter of 7 nm in oxidative dehydrogenation of ethane in the presence of CO_(2).Zhibin Deng Xing Ge Wenting Zhang Shizhong Luo Jun Shen Fangli Jing Wei Chu 2021Chinese Journal of Chemical Engineering2021,34,6:2
5Efficient production of pronuclear embryos in breeding and nonbreeding season for generating transgenic sheep overexpressing TLR4显示文摘Background: Brucella is a zoonotic Gram-negative pathogen that causes abortion and infertility in ruminants and humans. TLR4 is the receptor for LPS which can recognize Brucella and initiate antigen-presenting cell activities that affect both innate and adaptive immunity. Consequently, transgenic sheep over-expressing TLR4 are an suitable model to investigate the effects of TLR4 on preventing Brucellosis. In this study, we generated transgenic sheep overexpressing TLR4 and aimed to evaluate the effects of different seasons(breeding and non-breeding season) on superovulation and the imported exogenous gene on growth.Results: In total of 43 donor ewes and 166 recipient ewes in breeding season, 37 donor ewes and 144 recipient ewes in non-breeding season were selected for super-ovulation and injected embryo transfer to generate transgenic sheep.Our results indicated the no. of embryos recovered of donors and the rate of pronuclear embryos did not show any significant difference between breeding and non-breeding seasons(P > 0.05). The positive rate of exogenous TLR4 tested were 21.21 % and 22.58 % in breeding and non-breeding season by Southern blot. The expression level of TLR4 in the transgenic sheep was 1.5 times higher than in the non-transgenic group(P < 0.05). The lambs overexpressing TLR4 had similar growth performance with non-transgenic lambs, and the blood physiological parameters of transgenic and non-transgenic were both in the normal range and did not show any difference.Conclusions: Here we establish an efficient platform for the production of transgenic sheep by the microinjection of pronuclear embryos during the whole year. 6Combination of Astragalus membranaceus and Euonymus alatus (THUNB.) SIEB. for treatment of diabetes: A network-based pharmacology research显示文摘Objective:To find the target genes in combination of astragalus root(Astragalus membranaceus)and spindle tree wings(Euonymus alatus(THUNB.)SIEB.)(Qijian Heji)with the function of regulating blood glucose levels in kk mice by real-time fluorescence quantitative PCR(RT-PCR).To achieve the primary exploration on the material basis for Qijian Heji to improve the blood glucose levels of type 2 diabetic kk mice.Methods:We applied RT-PCR to detecting the expression of gene targets in kidney tissues of type 2 diabetes model kk mice.The detected gene targets were predicted by the network pharmacology method in the early stage of the project.Through the observation of the hypoglycemic effect of different ratios of Qijian Heji,the optimal proportion was determined and then used to conduct research of material basis.Results:Continuous administration of Qijian Heji(astragalus root:spindle tree wings Z 3:1)for six weeks resulted in significantly lowering blood glucose levels in mice in the fourth week,dropping from 33.3 to 21.9 mmol/L;this lower level was maintained in the fifth to sixth weeks.Blood glucose values in the positive drug group decreased from 33.3 to 21.85 mmol/L in the fourth week and maintained steady decreasing in the fifth and sixth weeks.Conclusion:Qijian Heji,with proportion of 3:1,could significantly reduce the blood glucose values in kk mice,animal experiment results verified the accurate prediction of network pharmacology,and at the same time,it is verified there was a certain therapeutic effect about the combination of the two herbs on reducing the glucose value.Animal experiments and RT-PCR results showed that Qijian Heji conducted a hypoglycemic effect by modulating estrogen receptor(ESR1)and renin(REN)expression.Kun Chen Dong Deng Youliang Huang Xiaoyun Ma Xueli Li Wenting Zhang Zhiyong Li Yang Liu Wei Wang Jianxin Chen HuiHui Zhao 2016Journal of Traditional Chinese Medical Sciences2016,3,3:1
7Numerical simulation of effects of cusp magnetic field on oxygen concentration of 300 mm CZ-Si显示文摘In magnetic Czochralski (MCZ) silicon growth, the distance and diameter of the electrified coils may affect the magnetic field intensity and melt flow. By changing the above parameters, the optimum geometric configuration of the coils was attempted. Through analyses of the oxygen concentration distribution of the crystal/melt interface, axial and radial velocity distribution of melt and the magnetic field intensity in the melt, it is found that smaller diameter of coils contributes to reducing the needed current intensity and production costs. 9Effects of Different Parameters of Electrostatic Field on Removal of Ethylene in Fruit and Vegetable Storage Environment显示文摘[Objectives]The effects of different parameters of electrostatic field on the removal of ethylene from fruit and vegetable storage environment were studied. [Methods]The high voltage electrostatic field technology was used to simulate the removal of ethylene from fruit and vegetable storages, and its influencing factors were tested and analyzed. [Results] The removal effect of needle-plate electrodes was better than that of needle electrodes. The removal effect of ethylene at high voltage was better than that at low voltage. The length of gas chamber was positively correlated with the time required for ethylene removal. Increasing the voltage could produce more ozone, thus improving the removal effect of ethylene. 10Lignocellulosic fraction-induced niche differentiation within dissimilatory iron reducing bacterial groups in a paddy soil显示文摘Responses of soil DIRB to lignocellulosic fractions during a 6-week microcosm incubation were investigated.Anaeromyxobacter,Bacillus,and Clostridium maintained their domi-nance throughout the incubation.Distinct DIRB groups proliferated under specific lignocellulosic fraction amendments.Limits of insufficient ferric iron on the proliferation varied by DIRB group.Dissimilatory iron reducing bacteria(DIRB)are phylogenetically and physi-ologically diverse in paddy soils,where iron reduction closely couples with the oxidation of rice straw-derived carbon in the straw returning scenarios.However,few studies have addressed the niche differentiation within DIRB groups during the degradation of lignocellulosic fractions of rice straw.This study conducted a 6-week microcosm incubation experiment to reveal the distinct responses of DIRB groups under specific lignocellulosic fraction amendments with and without ferrihydrite(Fh)addition in a flooded paddy Ultisol.Results showed that the total absolute abundance of the 19 detected DIRB groups did not vary significantly during the incubation.Anaeromyxobacter,Bacillus,and Clostridium were the dominant DIRB groups for all lignocellulosic treatments whereas Thermincola was dominant but only under xylan amendment with Fh addition.DIRB-nodes in the co-occurrence networks of bacterial community mainly belonged to Anaeromyxobacter and Bacillus.Clostridium and Thermincola,Alkaliphilus and Anaeromyxobacter,and Alicyclobacillus,Desulfobulbus,and Desulfosporosinus were specifically proliferated under xylan,cellulose,and lignin amendments,respectively.Whether the proliferation was limited by insufficient ferric iron varied by bacterial group.These findings suggested the lignocellulosic fraction-induced niche differentiation within DIRB groups,which advanced our understanding of the ecology of DIRB in paddy soils under straw returning.Yunbin Jiang Wenting Hu Kailou Liu Shangshu Huang Fengwu Zhou Cheng Han Huan Deng Wenhui Zhong 2024Soil Ecology Letters2024,6,1:0

12Characterization of Xanthomonas citri pv.citri from China based on spoligotyping显示文摘Xanthomonas citri pv.citri(Xcc),a gram-negative bacterium,is the causal agent of citrus canker,one of the most devastating diseases threatening the citrus industry worldwide.Understanding the diversity and population structure of Xcc is a prerequisite for disease epidemiological monitoring and effective disease management.Recent characterization of the clustered regularly interspaced short palindromic repeats(CRISPR)/cas(CRISPR-associated proteins genes)system with a highly variable repeat number among species provides a new molecular typing method for bacterial genetic analysis.In this study,we performed systematic in silico analyses of 28 Xcc genomes and identified a credible CRISPR/cas in Xcc strains.Further analysis of CRISPR polymorphisms(repeat number and spacer types)in 129 Xcc A strains collected from six provinces in China identified 15 types of CRISPR arrays with 25 spacers.Phylogenetic analysis of Xcc strains based on the CRISPR locus produced a more reliable and accurate typing result compared to the commonly used loci.In addition,seven associated cas genes—cas1,cas2,cas3,cas4,cas5,cas7(csd2),and cas8(csd1)—were found located adjacent to the CRISPR array.BLAST results showed>99%similarity of seven cas genes among Xcc strains.Homology analysis of spacer sequences showed that six spacers had possible phage/prophage origin.The characterization of the CRISPR/cas system among Xcc strains provided an updated strain typing method for Xcc diversity analysis and yielded a panoramic view of CRISPR evolution for further studies of Xcc-phage interactions.Wenting Li Zhenxi Li Jiaquan Huang Meirong Xu Zheng Zheng Xiaoling Deng 2022Horticultural Plant Journal2022,8,6:0

15Biomarker-targeted fluorescent probes for breast cancer imaging显示文摘Breast cancer has become a common tumor worldwide which seriously endangers people's health. Early diagnosis and treatment are particularly urgent in order to reduce the onset risk, mortality, and prolong the five-year survival rate. Therefore, we need a kind of diagnosis and treatment technology with high speci ficity, sensitivity and selectivity. In recent years, because of its unique properties in biological applications, fluorescence imaging has become an attractive research subject. Fluorescence imaging offers innovative ideas of targetable recognition of breast cancer cells, breast cancer imaging in vivo animal models, anticancer drugs delivery for guiding the mammary surgery via a noninvasive way with high sensitively and speci fically.
