1Lushan M_S7.0 earthquake:A blind reserve-fault event显示文摘In the epicenter of the Lushan MS7.0 earthquake there are several imbricate active reverse faults lying from northwest to southeast,namely the Gengda-Longdong,Yanjing-Wulong,Shuangshi-Dachuan and Dayi faults.Emergency field investigations have indicated that no apparent earthquake surface rupture zones were located along these active faults or their adjacent areas.Only brittle compressive ruptures in the cement-covered pavements can be seen in Shuangshi,Taiping,Longxing and Longmen Townships,and these ruptures show that a local crustal shortening occurred in the region during the earthquake.Combining spatial distribution of the relocated aftershocks and focal mechanism solutions,it is inferred that the Lushan earthquake is classified as a typical blind reverse-fault earthquake,and it is advised that the relevant departments should pay great attention to other historically un-ruptured segments along the Longmenshan thrust belt and throughout its adjacent areas.XU XiWei WEN XueZe HAN ZhuJun CHEN GuiHua LI ChuanYou ZHENG WenJun ZHNAG ShiMin REN ZhiQun XU Chong TAN XiBin WEI ZhanYu WANG MingMing REN JunJie HE ZhongTai LIANG MingJian 2013Chinese Science Bulletin2013,58,28:35
2Bioconjugated Silica Nanoparticles: Development and Applications显示文摘Advanced bioanalysis,including accurate quantitation,has driven the need to understand biology and medicine at the molecular level.Bioconjugated silica nanoparticles have the potential to address this emerging challenge.Particularly intriguing diagnostic and therapeutic applications in cancer and infectious disease as well as uses in gene and drug delivery,have also been found for silica nanoparticles.In this review,we describe the synthesis,bioconjugation,and applications of silica nanoparticles in different bioanalysis formats,such as selective tagging,barcoding,and separation of a wide range of biomedically important targets.Overall,we envisage that further development of these nanoparticles will provide a variety of advanced tools for molecular biology,genomics,proteomics and medicine.Lin Wang Wenjun Zhao Weihong Tan 2008Nano Research2008,1,2:15
3Corrosion mechanism of micro-arc oxidation treated biocompatible AZ31 magnesium alloy in simulated body fluid显示文摘The rapid degradation of magnesium(Mg) based alloys has prevented their further use in orthopedic trauma fixation and vascular intervention,and therefore it is essential to investigate the corrosion mechanism for improving the corrosion resistance of these alloys. In this work, the effect of applied voltage on the surface morphology and the corrosion behavior of micro-arc oxidation(MAO) with different voltages were carried out to obtain biocompatible ceramic coatings on AZ31 Mg alloy. The effects of applied voltage on the surface morphology and the corrosion behavior of MAO samples in the simulated body fluid(SBF) were studied systematically. Scanning electron microscope(SEM) and X-ray diffractometer(XRD)were employed to characterize the morphologies and phase compositions of coating before and after corrosion. The results showed that corrosion resistance of the MAO coating obtained at 250 V was better than the others in SBF. The dense layer of MAO coating and the corrosion precipitation were the key factors for corrosion behavior. The corrosion of precipitation Mg(OH)2and the calcium phosphate(Ca–P) minerals on the surface of MAO coatings could enhance their corrosion resistance effectively. 4Polyimide-derived carbon nanofiber membranes as anodes for high-performance flexible lithium ion batteries显示文摘The strategy of N-doping in carbon materials could provide additional Li-ion storage sites to improve their electrochemical properties. Heteroatom-containing polymers could serve as good precursors to fabricate doped carbons due to the capability to in situ dope heteroatoms into the structures. In this work,electrospun heterocyclic polyimide(PI) nanofiber membranes containing biphenyl and pyrimidine rings were carbonized to fabricate freestanding and flexible heteroatoms-containing carbon membranes.When the polymer membranes were subjected to various calcination temperatures(from 550℃ to950℃) and durations(0.5-10 h), the structural evolutions strongly affect their electrochemical properties as anodes for lithium ion batteries. It demonstrated that the reversible specific capacity of obtained sample treated at 650℃ for 3 h could achieve 695 mAh/g at 0.1 A/g and retain 245 mAh/g at 1.5 A/g after300 cycles. 5U-Pb Geochronology, Elemental and Sr-Nd Isotopic Geochemistry of the Houyaoyu Granite Porphyries: Implication for the Genesis of Early Cretaceous Felsic Intrusions in East Qinling显示文摘The Early Cretaceous Houyaoyu granite porphyries are located in the south margin of the North China Craton. Field observations, petrography, geochronology, major and trace elemental and Sr-Nd isotopic compositions are reported to elucidate the genesis of the Houyaoyu granite porphyries. SIMS zircon U-Pb analyses for the Houyaoyu granite porphyries yield two concordant ages of 133.2± 2.3(2σ) and 131± 1.1(2σ) Ma, respectively. Major and trace elemental compositions indicate that these porphyries are high-K I-type granites with high contents of Si O2, K2 O, Rb, U, Pb, low Nb, Ta, Ti, and P. Initial 87 Sr/86 Sr ratios range from 0.708 3 to 0.709 7, and εNd(t) values range from-9.13 to-12.3, with corresponding two-stage depleted-mantle Nd model ages(T2 DM) varying from 1.57 to 1.91 Ga. This suggests that the Houyaoyu granite porphyries were predominantly derived from ancient lower continental crust, with minor involvement of mantle-derived components. 6Electrospinning of hydroxypropyl methylcellulose trimellitate solutions显示文摘Nonwoven fiber mats of hydroxypropyl methylcellulose trimellitate(HPMCT) with potential applications in controlled delivery of drugs and scaffolds for tissue cultures have been successfully fabricated by electrospinning of HPMCT solutions.The formation and diameters of HPMCT fibers fabricated by electrospinning were strongly influenced by the solvents employed,electrostatic field strength,and solution concentrations.The electrospun products generated from all HPMCT solutions with various weight-average molecular weights in methanol/dichloromethane(1:1) solvent consisted of clustered beads,while methanol/dichloromethane(1:5) solvent helped to generate smooth,uniform,submicron fibers.From the relationship between specific viscosity and molecular weight in different solvents,it could be concluded that methanol/dichloromethane(1:5) solvent enhanced the molecular entanglements,improved the viscosity of the solutions,thus helped to generate smooth fibers.When all the other variables were kept constant,the concentration range suitable for electrospinning was between 10% and 16%(wt),and the average fiber diameter increased as the concentration increased.When all the other variables were kept constant,the average fiber diameter decreased as the strength of the electrostatic field increased.Electrospinning the solutions of two compounds with similar structure,hydroxypropyl methylcellulose phthalate(HPMCP) and HPMCT,we found that the fibers electrospun from HPMCP were thicker than that from HPMCT,which is attributed to the fact that the solution's conductivity of HPMCT(containing two free carboxyl groups) is higher than that of HPMCP(containing only one free carboxyl group).MA Gang,SHAO ZiQiang,WANG WenJun,WANG FeiJun,TAN LingLing & LIAO Bing School of Material,Beijing Institute of Technology,Beijing 100081,China 2010Science China Chemistry2010,53,1:3

8MRI and Transvaginal Ultrasound Findings of Atypical Polypoid Adenomyoma: A Case Report显示文摘Atypical polypoid adenomyoma(APA)is an uncommon type of polypoid characterized by fibroid stroma and endometrial glands.It occurs mostly in premenopausal women and rarely in postmenopausal women with irregular vaginal bleeding.In our current case,a 76-year-old woman presented with irregular vaginal bleeding.The final pathological diagnosis of the mass was APA.APA is not easy to diagnose before surgery.On the one hand,there was no obvious particularity in imaging features and clinical features,especially for uncomfortably identifying endometrial cancer.On the other hand,APA has a pedicle,attaching to any part of the uterine cavity,which can cause pseudocoel between the mass with the uterine cavity wall.So,when it comes to getting the pathological tissue in the absence of hysteroscopy,it is easy to access to the pseudocoel and obtain endometrial tissue rather than the pathological tissue of the mass.Therefore,preoperative imaging examination is of great significance diagnosis way of thinking to clinicians for APA.In the meantime,pathological tissue of APA can be obtained by hysteroscopy in visual conditions.Ya Tan Xue Hu Xin Song Wenjun Zhang 2022Chinese Medical Sciences Journal2022,37,1:3

11Exploration and implementation of commonality valuation method in commercial aircraft family design显示文摘Commercial aircraft family design can reduce development costs, shorten development cycles, and expand the market coverage of aircraft. Commercial aircraft family development has become one of the most important features of modern aircraft design. This paper explores the effects of commonality on different aircraft models in a commercial aircraft family. The existing product commonality indexes are summarized and their limitations in the application to aircraft design are discussed. Then a new component commonality index is proposed based on the component decomposition structure. A model for calculating the aircraft program value is established,which considers development costs, manufacturing costs, sale price, operation costs and residual costs. The effects of aircraft commonality on time and economic costs of both development and manufacturing, and on sale price, are analyzed and quantified. The commonality evaluation strategy is obtained, which features comprehensive consideration of the aircraft program value and time costs. The break-even analysis of aircraft is proceeded on the basis of costs and price data. By using a real option method, the strategy considers the uncertainty of the aircraft program and the flexibility of the manufacturer. 13Application of a TLC chemical method to detection of cyclotides in plants显示文摘Iodine, Dragendorff's reagent, ninhydrin and Coomassie brilliant blue G-250 reagents were used to detect cyclotides from proteins, cyclopeptides, linear-peptides and amino acids in the thin layer chromatography (TLC). Cyclotides could be distinguished from the others by comparing the TLC col-oring plots with G-250 and ninhydrin reagents.
