| 1 | Parameter estimation of GTD model and RCS extrapolation based on a modified 3D-ESPRIT algorithm显示文摘The noise robustness and parameter estimation performance of the classical three-dimensional estimating signal parameter via rotational invariance techniques(3D-ESPRIT)algorithm are poor when the parameters of the geometric theory of the diffraction(GTD)model are estimated at low signal-to-noise ratio(SNR).To solve this problem,a modified 3D-ESPRIT algorithm is proposed.The modified algorithm improves the parameter estimation accuracy by proposing a novel spatial smoothing technique.Firstly,we make cross-correlation of the auto-correlation matrices;then by averaging the cross-correlation matrices of the forward and backward spatial smoothing,we can obtain a novel equivalent spatial smoothing matrix.The formula of the modified algorithm is derived and the performance of this improved method is also analyzed.Then we compare root-meansquare-errors(RMSEs)of different parameters and the locating accuracy obtained by different algorithms.Furthermore,radar cross section(RCS)of radar targets is extrapolated.Simulation results verify the effectiveness and superiority of the modified 3DESPRIT algorithm. | ZHENG Shuyu ZHANG Xiaokuan ZHAO Weichen ZHOU Jianxiong ZONG Binfeng XU Jiahua | 2020 | Journal of Systems Engineering and Electronics2020,31,6: | 2 |
| 2 | Corrosion behavior of Q235B carbon steel in simulated seawater pumped storage system under operational conditions显示文摘Seawater pumped storage systems have bright prospect for energy storage in the coming years.The operational conditions of seawater pumped storage system are complex and harsh,where metal materials suff er from severe general and local corrosion.The corrosion behavior of Q235B carbon steel in simulated seawater pumped storage system under operational conditions was studied by potentiodynamic polarization,cyclic potentiodynamic polarization,and scanning electron microscope(SEM).The results confi rm that the working pressure aff ected the corrosion resistance of Q235B carbon steel during the whole immersion period.The pressure promoted the electrochemical reaction of corrosion process and the corrosion rate increased with pressure at the initial immersion period.However,the stable rust layer formed after longtime immersion at diff erent pressures increased the corrosion resistance of carbon steel,and decreased the corrosion degree of carbon steel.Meanwhile,the working pressure aff ected the pitting corrosion behavior of Q235B carbon steel during the whole immersion period.The pitting corrosion potential was more negative and the tendency of pitting corrosion was higher at 4 MPa during the whole immersion period.However,pressure also accelerated the formation rate of protective rust layer on the steel surface.Q235B carbon steel has higher susceptibility to pitting corrosion at 4 MPa in the static seawater. | YANG Dan HUANG Yanliang LI Jianqiu GAO Yanming ZHAO Xia XU Weichen | 2020 | Journal of Oceanology and Limnology2020,38,5: | 2 |
| 3 | Scalable, fluorine free and hot water repelling superhydrophobic and superoleophobic coating based on functionalized Al_(2)O_(3) nanoparticles显示文摘Hot water droplet and oils induced air cushion failure, intensively used fluorine-containing chemicals,tedious preparation process, etc. are the main bottlenecks of the current artificially fabricated superhydrophobic materials, restricting their large-scale production and real-world applications. Herein, a facile,scalable, fluorine-free spray-coating strategy was employed to achieve superhydrophobic and superoleophobic polymerized organosilanes/Al2O3 nanoparticles(POS/Al_(2)O_(3) NPs) coatings. The POS/Al_(2)O_(3) NPs coating was achieved through hydrolytic condensation of tetraethyl orthoilicate(TEOS) and hexadecyltrimethoxysilane(HDTMS) in the presence of Al2O3 NPs. A variety of analytical techniques including scanning electron microscopy(SEM), X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy(XPS), energy dispersive X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy(EDS) were used to investigate the fabricated coatings. The POS/Al_(2)O_(3) NPs coating features high contact angle(>158°) and low sliding angle(<5°) for water, glycerol, and ethylene glycol droplets with different surface tensions, verifying both superhydrophobic and superoleophobic properties. Moreover, the coatings present extremely low surface adhesion force, excellent liquid-driven self-cleaning ability, and hot water repellency. | 7 | Influence of Calcareous Deposit on Corrosion Behavior of Q235 Carbon Steel with Sulfate-Reducing Bacteria显示文摘Cathodic protection is a very effective method to protect metals, which can form calcareous deposits on metal surface. Research on the interrelationship between fouling organism and calcareous deposits is very important but very limited, especially sulfate-reducing bacteria(SRB). SRB is a kind of very important fouling organism that causes microbial corrosion of metals. A study of the influence of calcareous deposit on corrosion behavior of Q235 carbon steel in SRB-containing culture medium was carried out using electrochemical impedance spectroscopy(EIS), scanning electron microscopy(SEM) and surface spectroscopy(EDS). The calcareous deposit was formed with good crystallinity and smooth surface under the gradient current density of -30 μA cm^(-2) in natural seawater for 72 h. Our results can help elucidate the formation of calcareous deposits and reveal the interrelationship between SRB and calcareous deposits under cathodic protection. The results indicate that the corrosion tendency of carbon steel was obviously affected by Sulfate-reducing Bacteria(SRB) metabolic activity and the calcareous deposit formed on the surface of carbon steel under cathodic protection was favourable to reduce the corrosion rate. Calcareous deposits can promote bacterial adhesion before biofilm formation. | 9 | Magnetocontrollable droplet mobility on liquid crystal-infused porous surfaces显示文摘Magnetocontrollable droplet mobility on surfaces of both solids and simple fluids have been widely used in a wide range of applications.However,little is understood about the effect of the magnetic field on the wettability and mobility of droplets on structured fluids.Here,we report the manipulation of the dynamic behaviors of water droplets on a film of thermotropic liquid crystals(LCs).We find that the static wetting behavior and static friction of water droplets on a 4’-octyl-4-biphenylcarbonitrile(8CB)film strongly depend on the LC mesophases,and that a magnetic field caused no measurable change to these properties.However,we find that the droplet dynamics can be affected by a magnetic field as it slides on a nematic 8CB film,but not on isotropic 8CB,and is dependent on both the direction and strength of the magnetic field.By measuring the dynamic friction of a droplet sliding on a nematic 8CB film,we find that a magnetic field alters the internal orientational ordering of the 8CB which in turn affects its viscosity.We support this interpretation with a scaling argument using the LC magnetic coherence length that includes(i)the elastic energy from the long-range orientational ordering of 8CB and(ii)the free energy from the interaction between 8CB and a magnetic field.Overall,these results advance our understanding of droplet mobility on LC films and enable new designs for responsive surfaces that can manipulate the mobility of water droplets. | Yang Xu Yuxing Yao Weichen Deng Jen-Chun Fang Robert LDupont Meng Zhang SimonČopar UrošTkalec Xiaoguang Wang | 2023 | Nano Research2023,16,4: | 0 |
| 10 | Exploring the methods on improving CH_(4) delivery performance to surpass the Advanced Research Project Ageney-Energy target显示文摘CH_(4) storage associated with adsorbed natural gas(ANG)technology is an issue attracting great concern.Following the Advanced Research Project Agency-Energy(ARPA-E)targeted deliverable capacity of 315 cm^(3)·cm^(-3)(STP),hundreds of thousands of materials have been experimentally or theoretically evaluated,while the best results still show a 35% gap from the target.Moreover,recent theoretical research reveals that the target is beyond the possibility that real materials can be designed.To get rid of the awkward situation,we make attempts on investigating the CH_(4) delivery performance under other operation conditions.Methods of raising the discharge temperature(to infinite high)or elevating the storage pressure(to 25 MPa)have been proved to show limited effectiveness.In this work,it is found that the ARPA-E target can be achieved by using a decreasing storage temperature strategy.By taking 280 CoRE(computation-ready,experimental)COFs(covalent organic frameworks)as ANG materials,when reduce the storage temperature to 190.6 K,the highest deliverable capacity can reach 392 cm^(3)·cm^(-3)(STP),and 16.1% CoRE COFs can surpass the target.The target is also achievable when storage at 220 K.Structure performance relationships study shows strong correlation between deliverable capacity and void fraction.Hence,120 hypothetical COFs are generated to ascertain the optimum void fraction.In addition,the performance of 2D-COFs can be greatly enhanced by increasing the interlayer spacings,e.g.CH_(4) deliverable capacity(storage at 190.6 K)of ATFG-COF can be improved from 239 to 411 cm^(3)·cm^(-3)(STP)when interlayer spacing is enlarged to 1.65 nm. | Weichen Zhu Yuxuan He Minman Tong Xiaoyong Lai Shijia Liang Xu Wang Yanjuan Li Xiao Yan | 2021 | Chinese Journal of Chemical Engineering2021,34,5: | 0 |
| 11 | Simultaneous regulation on coordination environment and interfacial chemistry via taurine for stabilized Zn metal anode显示文摘Aqueous Zn-ion batteries(AZIBs)are the potential options for the next-generation energy storage scenarios due to the cost effectiveness and intrinsic safety.Nevertheless,the industrial application of AZIBs is still impeded by a series of parasitic reactions and dendrites at zinc anodes.In this study,taurine(TAU)is used in electrolyte to simultaneously optimize the coordination condition of the ZnSO4electrolyte and interfacial chemistry at the anode.TAU can preferentially adsorb with the zinc metal and induce an in situ stable and protective interface on the anode,which would avoid the connection between H_(2)O and the zinc metal and promote the even deposition of Zn^(2+).The resulting Zn//Zn batteries achieve more than 3000 hours long cyclic lifespan under 1 mA cm^(-2)and an impressive cumulative capacity at 5 mA cm^(-2).Moreover,Zn//Cu batteries can realize a reversible plating/stripping process over 2,400cycles,with a desirable coulombic efficiency of 99.75%(1 mA cm^(-2)).Additionally,the additive endows Zn//NH_(4)V_(4)O_(10)batteries with more stable cyclic performance and ultrafast rate capability.These capabilities can promote the industrial application of AZIBs. | Xin Xu Junyi Yin Ruimin Qin Haoliang Liu Xiang Feng Minghui Wang Mingyan Li Weiyu Sun Weichen Shi Bing Xiao Yaqiong Su Yonghong Cheng | 2023 | Journal of Energy Chemistry2023,,11: | 0 |
