1Advanced EMS and its trial operation in Shanghai power system显示文摘To meet the demand of high stability,high quality,and low losses of power systems,the advanced energy management system (AEMS) is established and revealed in this bulletin,which has been put into trial operation in Shanghai power system for almost half a year. The AEMS is novel from all aspects covering idea,theory,method,software,and engineering. The essence of AEMS is exercising the hybrid automatic control theory and technology to realize multi-objective optimal closed-loop control of power systems. Based on an 'event-driven' strategy,the AEMS transforms multi-objective optimal control problems into event identification and elimination by defining the unsatisfactory states of a power system as events. 2The effects of land use and its patterns on soil properties in a small catchment of the Loess Plateau显示文摘Due to relatively strong human activities in the hilly area of Loess Plateau, the natural vegetation has been destroyed, and landscape pattern based on agricultural land matrix was land use mosaic composing of shrub land, grassland, woodland and orchard. This pattern has an important effect on soil moisture and soil nutrients. The Danangou catchment, a typical small catchment, was selected to study the effects of land use and its patterns on soil moisture and nutrients in this paper. The results are as follows: The comparisons of soil moisture among seven land uses for wet year and dry year were performed: (1) the average of soil moisture content for whole catchment was 12.11% in wet year, while it was 9.37% in dry year; (2) soil moisture among seven land uses was significantly different in dry year, but not in wet year; (3) from wet year to dry year, the profile type of soil moisture changed from decreasing type to fluctuation-type and from fluctuant type to increasing type; (4) the increasing trend in soil moisture from the top to foot of hillslope occurred in simple land use along slope, while complicated distribution of soil moisture was observed in multiple land uses along slope. The relationships between soil nutrients and land uses and landscape positions were analysed: (1) five nutrient contents of soil organic matter (SOM), total N (TN), available N (AN), total P (TP) and available P (AP) in hilly area were lower than that in other areas. SOM content was less than 1%, TN content less than 0.07%, and TP content between 0.05% and 0.06%; (2) SOM and TN contents in woodland, shrub land and grassland were significantly higher than that in fallow land and cropland, and higher level in soil fertility was found in crop-fruit intercropping land among croplands; (3) soil nutrient distribution and responses to landscape positions were variable depending on slope and the location of land use types.WANGJun FUBo-jie2003Journal of Environmental Sciences2003,15,2:6

4Interleaving distribution of multifractal strength of 16-channel EEG signals显示文摘Multifractal characteristics of 16-channel hu-man electroencephalogram (EEG) signals under eye-closed rest are analyzed for the first time. The result shows that the EEGs from the different sites on the scalp have different multifractal characteristics and the multifractal strength value a exhibits a kind of interleaving and left-right oppo-site distribution on scalp. This distribution rule is consistent with the localization of function and the lateralization theory in physiology. So Da can become an effective parameter to describe the brain potential character. 5Music/voice separation based on the multi-repeating structure of Mel cepstrum coefficient显示文摘For the poor adaptability of the original repeating pattern,an improved music separation method of multi-repeating structure of Mel cepstrum coefficient(MFCC) is proposed.Firstly,the MFCC coefficient matrix(39-dimensional data) of the music signal was extracted.Then the cosine characteristic was applied to the count of similarity matrix of MFCC,and the fragments with consistent similarity are putted together.Next different repeating patterns are built for different groups.Thereby the spectrums of the background music and vocal were separated combined with ideal binary masking(IBM),and the corresponding time domain signals were obtained by inverse Fourier transform.Fnally,the improved method was tested on the music database of different types and length,and the separation results were compared with repeating method of Rafii and the non-negative matrix factorization based on flexible framework method of Ozerov.The experimental results showed that the separation performance of improved method was improved about 3 dB,and the performance of music with melody changed larger was significantly improved.Experiments verified that the improved method was an effective music separation algorithm and more stability.ZHANG Tianqi XU Xin WU Wangjun LIU Yu 2015Chinese Journal of Acoustics2015,34,4:4
6Geochemistry of the Cenozoic Potassic Volcanic Rocks in the West Kunlun Mountains and Constraints on Their Sources显示文摘The geochemical characteristics of the Cenozoic volcanic rocks from the north Pulu, east Pulu and Dahongliutan regions in the west Kunlun Mountains are somewhat similar as a whole. However, the volcanic rocks from the Dahongliutan region in the south belt are geochemically distinguished from those in the Pulu region (including the north and east Pulu) of the north belt. The volcanic rocks of the Dahongliutan region are characterized by relatively low TiO2 abundance, but more enrichment in alkali, much more enrichment in light rare earth elements and large ion lithosphile elements than those from the Pulu region. Compared with the Pulu region, volcanic rocks from the Dahongliutan region have relatively low 87Sr/86Sr ratios, and high εNd, 207pb/204Pb and 208Pb/204Pb. Their trace elements and isotopic data suggest that they were derived from lithospheric mantle, consisting of biotite- and hornblende-bearing garnet lherzolite, which had undertaken metasomatism and enrichment. On the primitive mantle-normalized patterns, they display remarkably negative Nb and Ta anomalies, indicating the presence of early-stage subducted oceanic crust. The metasomatism and enrichment resulted from the fluid released from the crustal materials enclosed in the source region in response to the uplift of asthenospheric mantle. Based on the previous experiments it can be inferred that the thickness of the lithosphere ranges from 75 to 100 km prior to the generation of the magmas. However, the south belt differs from the north one by its thicker lithosphere and lower degree of partial melting. The different thickness of the lithosphere gives rise to corresponding variation of the degree of crustal contamination. The volcanic rocks in the south belt are much more influenced by crustal contamination. In view of the tectonic setting, the generation of potassic magmas is linked with the uplift of asthenosphere resulted from large-scale thinning of the lithosphere after the collision of Indian and Eurasian plates, whereas the thinning of the lithosphere may result from delamination. 8Volume calculation of the spur gear billet for cold precision forging with average circle method显示文摘Forging spur gears are widely used in the driving system of mining machinery and equipment due to their higher strength and dimensional accuracy.For the purpose of precisely calculating the volume of cylindrical spur gear billet in cold precision forging,a new theoretical method named average circle method was put forward.With this method,a series of gear billet volumes were calculated.Comparing with the accurate three-dimensional modeling method,the accuracy of average circle method by theoretical calculation was estimated and the maximum relative error of average circle method was less than 1.5%,which was in good agreement with the experimental results.Relative errors of the calculated and the experimental for obtaining the gear billet volumes with reference circle method are larger than those of the average circle method.It shows that average circle method possesses a higher calculation accuracy than reference circle method(traditional method),which should be worth popularizing widely in calculation of spur gear billet volume.Wangjun Cheng Chengzhong Chi Yongzhen Wang Peng Lin Wei Liang Chen Li 2014International Journal of Coal Science & Technology2014,1,4:4
9Depression accelerates gastric cancer invasion and metastasis by inducing a neuroendocrine phenotype via the catecholamine/β_(2)-AR/MACC1 axis显示文摘Background:Depression is a common,easily ignored,accompanied disease of gastric cancer(GC)patients and is often observed with elevated plasma catecholamine levels.Depression frequently promotes GC progression and leads to poor clinical outcomes;however,the molecular mechanisms underlying depression-induced GC progression remain poorly understood.We aimed to study the effects of depression on GC progression and explore possible mechanisms mediating the action of depression-associated catecholamines on GC.Methods:Depression states of GC patients were graded using the Patient Health Questionnaire-9,and plasma catecholamine levels were examined by high performance liquid chromatography coupled with tandem mass spectrometry.Migrative and invasive GC cells were examined using transwell assays,and metastatic GC niches were imaged using bioluminescence technology in a depression mouse model established with chronic unpredictable mild stress.Mouse depression-like behaviors were assessed through sucrose preference,forced swimming,and tail suspension tests.Characteristics of the neuroendocrine phenotype were observed via RT-PCR,Western blotting,flow cytometry,and transmission electron microscopy.Results:Fifty-one GC patients(age:53.61±1.79 years;cancer duration:3.71±0.33 months;depression duration:2.37±0.38 months;male-to-female ratio:1.55:1)were enrolled in the study.Depression grade was significantly higher in GC patients showing higher plasma levels of catecholamines(epinephrine:P=0.018;noradrenaline:P=0.009),higher oncogene metastasis-associated in colon cancer-1(MACC1)level(P=0.018),and metastasis(P<0.001).Further,depression-associated catecholamine specifically bound to the beta-2 adrenergic receptor(β_(2)-AR)and upregulated MACC1 expression,and thus promoting neuroendocrine phenotypic transformation through direct binding betweenMACC1 and synaptophysin.Eventually,the neuroendocrine phenotypic transformation accelerated GC invasion in vitro and metastasis in vivo.However,β_(2)-AR antagonist ICI-118,551 or MACC1 silencing effectively blocked the catecholamineinduced neuroendocrine phenotypic transformation and eliminated depressionenhanced GC migration and invasion.Moreover,β_(2)-AR blocking or MACC1 silencing prevented GC metastasis attributed to a neuroendocrine phenotype in a depression mouse model.Conclusions:Catecholamine-induced neuroendocrine phenotypes of GC cells led to depression-accelerated GC invasion and metastasis via the β_(2)-AR/MACC1 axis,while β_(2)-AR antagonist or MACC1 silencing could reverse it,showing promising potential therapeutic strategies for improving the outcome of GC patients with comorbid depression.Changqie Pan Jianhua Wu Siting Zheng Huiying Sun Yisheng Fang Zhenhua Huang Min Shi Li Liang Jianping Bin Yulin Liao Jinzhang Chen Wangjun Liao 2021Cancer Communications2021,41,10:4
10Preparation and particle size characterization of Cu nanoparticles prepared by anodic arc plasma显示文摘Copper nanoparticles were successfully prepared in large scale by means of anodic arc discharging plasma method in inert atmosphere. The particle size, specific surface area, crystal structure, and morphology of the samples were characterized by X-ray diffraction (XRD), BET equation, transmission electron microscopy (TEM), and the corresponding selected area electron diffraction (SAED). The experimental results indicate that the crystal structure of the samples is fcc structure the same as that of the bulk materials. The specific surface area is 11 m2/g, the particle size distribution is 30 to 90 nm, and the average particle size is about 67 nm obtained from TEM and confirmed from XRD and BET results. 12Mode entropy and dynamical analysis of irregularity for HFECG显示文摘A new algorithm—ModEn (mode entropy) is proposed by analyzing and modifying ApEn (approximate entropy) , so that the irregular analysis can be applied to the time series of short-term signals with broad amplitude and slow fluctuation (SBS signals); and the ModEn is introduced in the irregular dynamic analysis of high frequency electro- cardiogram (HFECG) on a myocardium infarction (MI) animal model. It is shown that the ModEn has a considerable dynamic change in MI. 13Effects of Maca Extract on Exercise Endurance and Ultrastructure of Mitochondria in Spinal Neurons显示文摘[Objectives] To study the effects of maca extract on the exercise endurance and ultrastructure of mitochondria in spinal neurons.[Methods]First,50 Wistar rats were randomly divided into 5 groups. The control group: no swimming,administered intragastrically the same volume of distilled water; simple swimming group: free swimming,administered intragastrically the same volume of distilled water; maca extract groups: free swimming,and treated with 4. 0,5. 3,and 8. 0 g/kg dose of maca extracts. Swimming rats swam freely in the circulating water flow of swimming pool and administered for 15 d. On the 16 th d,after the swimming endurance test,the rats were killed painlessly. The ultrastructure of the mitochondria in the spinal neurons was observed with a projection electron microscope,muscle glycogen,malondialdehyde( MDA),superoxide dismutase( SOD),glutathione peroxidase( GSH-Px) and free calcium in muscle were measured by radioimmunoassay.[Results] Compared with the simple swimming group,the swimming time before sinking and total swimming time extended 19. 83%,60. 28%,77. 55% and 55. 34%,73. 91% and 94. 47% respectively,and the differences were statistically significant( P < 0. 01). The sinking times decreased by 34. 35%,51. 18% and 57. 96% respectively,the differences were statistically significant( P < 0. 01). MDA and free calcium decreased by 20. 10%,31. 49% and 38. 72%,respectively with statistically significant differences( P < 0. 01) and 6. 42%,17. 58%and 26. 35% respectively. The levels of SOD,GSH-Px and muscle glycogen increased by 5. 12%,22. 74%,52. 53%,44. 22%,77. 79%and 98. 45% respectively,with statistically significant differences( P < 0. 01) and 35. 08%,47. 83% and 81. 88%,respectively,with statistically significant differences( P < 0. 01). 14Sonocatalytic degradation of methyl orange in the presence of (nanometer and ordinary) anatase TiO_2 powders显示文摘The nanometer and ordinary anatase titanium dioxide(TiO2) powders were adopted as the sonocatalysts for the degradation of methyl orange used as a model compound for the first time. It was found that the sonocatalytic degradation effect of methyl orange in the presence of TiO2 powder were much better than that without TiO2, but the sonocatalytic activity of the nanometer anatase TiO2 particle was obviously higher than that of ordinary anatase TiO2 particle. Although there are many factors influencing sonocatalytic degradation of methyl orange, the experimental results showed that the best degradation ratio of methyl orange could be obtained when the experimental conditions were: initial concentration 15 mg/L, nanometer anatase TiO2 adding amount 750 mg/L, ultrasonic frequency 40 kHz, output power 50 W, pH = 3.0 and temperature 40℃ within 150 min. In addition, the catalytic activity of reused nanometer anatase TiO2 catalyst was also studied and found to decline gradually comparing with initial nanometer anatase TiO2 catalyst. 15The prognostic significance of non-sentinel lymph node metastasis in cutaneous and acral melanoma patients—A multicenter retrospective study显示文摘Background:Whether non-sentinel lymph node(SLN)-positive melanoma patients can benefit from completion lymph node dissection(CLND)is still unclear.The current study was performed to identify the prognostic role of nonSLN status in SLN-positive melanoma and to investigate the predictive factors of non-SLN metastasis in acral and cutaneous melanoma patients.Methods:The records of 328 SLN-positive melanoma patients who underwent radical surgery at four cancer centers from September 2009 to August 2017 were reviewed.Clinicopathological data including age,gender,Clark level,Breslow index,ulceration,the number of positive SLNs,non-SLN status,and adjuvant therapy were included for survival analyses.Patients were followed up until death or June 30,2019.Multivariable logistic regression modeling was performed to identify factors associated with non-SLN positivity.Log-rank analysis and Cox regression analysis were used to identify the prognostic factors for disease-free survival(DFS)and overall survival(OS).Results:Among all enrolled patients,220(67.1%)had acral melanoma and 108(32.9%)had cutaneous melanoma.The 5-year DFS and OS rate of the entire cohort was 31.5%and 54.1%,respectively.More than 1 positive SLNs were found in 123(37.5%)patients.Positive non-SLNs were found in 99(30.2%)patients.Patients with positive non-SLNs had significantly worse DFS and OS(log-rank P<0.001).Non-SLN status(P=0.003),number of positive SLNs(P=0.016),and adjuvant therapy(P=0.025)were independent prognostic factors for DFS,while non-SLN status(P=0.002),the Breslow index(P=0.027),Clark level(P=0.006),ulceration(P=0.004),number of positive SLNs(P=0.001),and adjuvant therapy(P=0.007)were independent prognostic factors for OS.The Breslow index(P=0.020),Clark level(P=0.012),and number of positive SLNs(P=0.031)were independently related to positive non-SLNs and could be used to develop more personalized surgical strategy.Conclusions:Non-SLN-positive melanoma patients had worse DFS and OS even after immediate CLND than those with non-SLN-negative melanoma.The Breslow index,Clark level,and number of positive SLNs were independent predictive factors for non-SLN status.Wei Sun Yu Xu JiLong Yang ZhiChao Liao Tao Li Kai Huang Poulam Patel WangJun Yan Yong Chen 2020Cancer Communications2020,40,11:2
16Discovery of Cathaysiodendron Lee from the Early Carboniferous of Jingyuan,Gansu,western China显示文摘As one of the representative members of the Late Palaeozoic Cathaysian flora,Cathaysiodendron has been previously recorded from the Early Permian Taiyuan and Shanxi Formations in north China.The species of Cathaysiodendron presented here are from the lower member of Chouniugou Formation of Ciyao,Jingyuan,Gansu.The overlying marine beds yield fusulinids that are of Visean age in western Europe and conodonts of the Datang Stage in south China,so that the age of the bed containing Cathaysiodendron as Visean,Early Carboniferous,is well constrained.Such a record of Cathaysiodendron is significant in terms of Carboniferous phyto-geography and the evolution of the Cathaysian Lepidophytes.A new species,Cathaysiodendron jingyuanense Wang&Wu sp.nov.is described and a second one mentioned.WANGJun WUXiuyuan 2004Progress in Natural Science:Materials International2004,14,10:2
17Bronchial artery embolization in hemoptysis显示文摘Massive hemoptysis is one of the most dreaded of all respiratory emergencies and can have a variety of underlying causes. It is mostly caused by bleeding from bronchial circulation. Bronchial artery embolization is now considered to be the treatment of choice for acute massive hemoptysis. Bronchial artery embolization (BAE) is a safe and effective nonsurgical treatment for patients with massive hemoptysis. However, nonbronchial systemic arteries can be a significant source of massive hemoptysis and a cause of recurrence after successful BAE. So knowledge of the bronchial artery anatomy, together with an understanding of the pathophysiologic features of massive hemoptysis, are essential for planning and performing BAE in affected patients. In addition, interventional radiologists should be familiar with the techniques, results, efficacy, safety and possible complications of BAE and with the characteristics of the various embolic agents. Bronchial arterial catheterisation in human via a percutaneous approach has been practiced for 32 years (1973) in the world and 20 years (1986) in China, initially for direct chemotherapy treatment for bronchial malignancies and then for the embolization of patients with massive haemoptysis.
