2Dual tree complex wavelet transform approach to copy-rotate-move forgery detection显示文摘As a common scheme of image tampering,copy-move forgery plays an important role in image forgery committee.Although several blind methods aimed at detecting replicated regions have been proposed,these methods cannot detect the rotation changes in the duplicated areas efciently.In this paper,a new forensic method is presented to detect the replicated areas rotated by arbitrary angles,even by JPEG compression.To achieve this,overlapping blocks of pixels are decomposed using dual tree complex wavelet transform(DTCWT),and then channel energies are extracted from each subband at each decomposition level using the L1norm.Finally,the anisotropic rotationally invariant features are extracted using magnitudes of discrete Fourier transform for these channel energies.The implementation procedure of the proposed method is described in detail.Extensive experimental results,including a comparative evaluation with existing methods and the special applications in practice,are also presented to demonstrate the robustness and efectiveness of the proposed method.WU YunJie DENG Yu DUAN HaiBin ZHOU LinNa 2014Science China(Information Sciences)2014,57,1:9
3The effect of environmental factors on spatial variability in land use change in the high-sediment region of China's Loess Plateau显示文摘In areas with topographic heterogeneity, land use change is spatially variable and influenced by climate, soil properties, and topography. To better understand this variability in the high-sediment region of the Loess Plateau in which soil loss is most severe and sediment diameter is larger than in other regions of the plateau, this study builds some indicators to identify the characteristics of land use change and then analyze the spatial variability as it is affected by climate, soil property, and topography. We build two indicators, a land use change intensity index and a vegetation change index, to characterize the intensity of land use change, and the degree of vegetation restoration, respectively. Based on a subsection mean method, the two indicators are then used to assess the spatial variability of land use change affected by climatic, edaphic, and topographic elements. The results indicate that: 1) Land use changed significantly in the period 1998–2010. The total area experiencing land use change was 42,302 km2, accounting for 22.57%of the study area. High-coverage grassland, other woodland, and forest increased significantly, while low-coverage grassland and farmland decreased in 2010 compared with 1998. 2) Land use change occurred primarily west of the Yellow River, between 35 and 38 degrees north latitude. The four transformation types, including(a) low-coverage grassland to medium-coverage grassland,(b) medium-coverage grassland to high-coverage grassland,(c) farmland to other woodland, and(d) farmland to medium-coverage grassland, were the primary types of land use change, together constituting 60% of the area experiencing land use change. 3) The spatial variability of land use change was significantly affected by properties of dryness/wetness, soil conditions and slope gradient. In general, land use changed dramatically in semi-arid regions, remained relativelystable in arid regions, changed significantly in clay-rich soil, remained relatively stable in clay-poor soil, changed dramatically in steeper slopes, and remained relatively stable in tablelands and low-lying regions. The increase in vegetation coincided with increasing changes in land use for each physical element. 5Intestinal dysbiosis exacerbates the pathogenesis of psoriasis-like phenotype through changes in fatty acid metabolism显示文摘The intestinal microbiota has been associated with host immunity as well as psoriasis;however,the mechanism of intestinal microbiota regulating psoriasis needs to be demonstrated systematically.Here,we sought to examine its role and mechanism of action in the pathogenesis of psoriasis.We found that the severity of psoriasis-like skin phenotype was accompanied by changes in the composition of the intestinal microbiota.We performed co-housing and fecal microbial transplantation(FMT)experiments using the K14-VEGF transgenic mouse model of psoriasis and demonstrated that the transfer of intestinal microbiota from mice with severe psoriasis-like skin phenotype exacerbated psoriasiform skin inflammation in mice with mild symptoms,including increasing the infiltration and differentiation of Th17,and increased the abundance of Prevotella,while decreasing that of Parabacteroides distasonis,in the colon.These alterations affected fatty acid metabolism,increasing the abundance of oleic and stearic acids.Meanwhile,gentamicin treatment significantly reduced the abundance of Prevotella and alleviated the psoriasis-like symptoms in both K14-VEGF mice and imiquimod(IMQ)-induced psoriasis-like mice.Indeed,administration of oleic and stearic acids exacerbated psoriasis-like symptoms and increased Th17 and monocyte-derived dendritic cell infiltration in the skin lesion areas in vivo,as well as increased the secretion of IL-23 by stimulating DCs in vitro.At last,we found that,treatment of PDE-4 inhibitor alleviated psoriasis-like phenotype of K14-VEGF mice accompanied by the recovery of intestinal microbiota,including the decrease of Prevotella and increase of Parabacteroides distasonis.Overall,our findings reveal that the intestinal microbiota modulates host metabolism and psoriasis-like skin inflammation in mice,suggesting a new target for the clinical diagnosis and treatment of psoriasis.Qixiang Zhao Jiadong Yu Hong Zhou Xiaoyan Wang Chen Zhang Jing Hu Yawen Hu Huaping Zheng Fanlian Zeng Chengcheng Yue Linna Gu Zhen Wang Fulei Zhao Pei Zhou Haozhou Zhang Nongyu Huang Wenling Wu Yifan Zhou Jiong Li 2023Signal Transduction and Targeted Therapy2023,8,2:2

10CCGD-ESCC: A Comprehensive Database for Genetic Variants Associated with Esophageal Squamous Cell Carcinoma in Chinese Population显示文摘Esophageal squamous-cell carcinoma(ESCC) is one of the most lethal malignancies in the world and occurs at particularly higher frequency in China. While several genome-wide association studies(GWAS) of germline variants and whole-genome or whole-exome sequencing studies of somatic mutations in ESCC have been published, there is no comprehensive database publically available for this cancer. Here, we developed the Chinese Cancer Genomic Database-Esophageal Squamous Cell Carcinoma(CCGD-ESCC) database, which contains the associations of 69,593 single nucleotide polymorphisms(SNPs) with ESCC risk in 2022 cases and 2039 controls, survival time of 1006 ESCC patients(survival GWAS) and gene expression(expression quantitative trait loci,eQTL) in 94 ESCC patients. Moreover, this database also provides the associations between8833 somatic mutations and survival time in 675 ESCC patients. Our user-friendly database is a resource useful for biologists and oncologists not only in identifying the associations of genetic variants or somatic mutations with the development and progression of ESCC but also in studying the underlying mechanisms for tumorigenesis of the cancer. 11Remediation of Organochlorine Pesticide-Contaminated Soils by Surfactant-Enhanced Washing Combined with Activated Carbon Selective Adsorption显示文摘Remediation of organochlorine pesticide (OCP)-contaminated soils is urgently required especially in China. The present study investigated the removal of OCPs from two soils by triton X-100 (TX- 100)-enhanced washing coupled with powdered activated carbon (PAC) adsorption treatment of the solution. Two contaminated soils, including a silt clay contaminated w计h chlordene, dichloro- 2,2-6is(p-chlorophenyl)ethanes (DDDs), and dichlorodiphenyltrichloroethane (DDT) and a sandy loam containing chlordanes and mirex, were selected. Effects of varied operating parameters, including TX-100 dosage, liquid/soil (L/S) ratio, and extraction time, on the contaminant removal were examined. For both soils, OCP removal was clearly enhanced with increasing TX-100 in extraction solution and L/S ratio. Meanwhile, the removal efficacy was also impacted by soil texture and characteristics and contents of the contaminants. Moreover, by using PAC as an absorbent, a significant decrease in the contaminants in the extraction solutions was detected, and TX-100 could be further reused. 12Estimating single scattering albedo of winter wheat over the North China Plain using AMSR-E data显示文摘We proposed a method to estimate single scattering albedo of winter wheat over the North China Plain with AMSR-E passive microwave imagery. The relationships of single scattering albedo and optical depth between 6. 925 GHz and 10. 65 GHz were derived from simulations. To retrieve the single scattering albedo,the relationships were combined with the physical expressions of microwave vegetation indices derived from the first-order parameterized emission model. Comparisons with normalized difference vegetation index( NDVI) obtained from daily MODIS reflectance product showed that the variations in winter wheat single scattering albedo were similar to those of winter wheat NDVI. However,several differences were observed. NDVI showed saturation from the heading stage to the milky stage of winter wheat,whereas single scattering albedo remained sensitive to the growth of winter wheat. 13Integrative analysis of gene expression profiles reveals specific signaling pathways associated with pancreatic duct adenocarcinoma显示文摘Background:Pancreatic duct adenocarcinoma(PDAC)remains a major health problem because conventional can-cer treatments are relatively ineffective against it.Microarray studies have linked many genes to pancreatic cancer,but the available data have not been extensively mined for potential insights into PDAC.This study attempted to identify PDAC-associated genes and signaling pathways based on six microarray-based profiles of gene expression in pancre-atic cancer deposited in the gene expression omnibus database.Methods:Pathway network methods were used to analyze core pathways in six publicly available pancreatic cancer gene(GSE71989,GSE15471,GSE16515,GSE32676,GSE41368 and GSE28735)expression profiles.Genes potentially linked to PDAC were assessed for potential impact on survival time based on data in The Cancer Genome Atlas and International Cancer Genome Consortium databases,and the expression of one candidate gene(CKS2)and its association with survival was examined in 102 patients with PDAC from our hospital.Effects of CKS2 knockdown were explored in the PDAC cell lines BxPC-3 and CFPAC-1.Results:The KEGG signaling pathway called“pathway in cancer”may play an important role in pancreatic cancer development and progression.Five genes(BIRC5,CKS2,ITGA3,ITGA6 and RALA)in this pathway were significantly associated with survival time in patients with PDAC.CKS2 was overexpressed in PDAC samples from our hospital,and higher CKS2 expression in these patients was associated with shorter survival time.CKS2 knockdown substantially inhibited PDAC cell proliferation in vitro.Conclusions:Analysis integrating existing microarray datasets allowed identification of the“pathway in cancer”as an important signaling pathway in PDAC.This integrative approach may be powerful for identifying genes and pathways involved in cancer.Jun Li Wenle Tan Linna Peng Jialiang Zhang Xudong Huang Qionghua Cui Jian Zheng Wen Tan Chen Wu Dongxin Lin 2018Cancer Communications2018,38,1:0
14The Prognostic Value of Red Cell Distribution Width in Critically Ill Cerebral Infarction Patients:A Retrospective Cohort Study显示文摘Objective:Red blood cell distribution width(RDW)has been utilized as a prognostic indicator for mortality risk assessment in cardiovascular and cerebrovascular patients.Nevertheless,the prognostic significance of RDW in critically ill patients with cerebral infarction is yet to be investigated.The objective of this study is to examine the association between RDW and the risk of all-cause mortality in cerebral infarction patients admitted to the intensive care unit(ICU).Method:A retrospective cohort study was conducted using the Medical Information Mart for Intensive Care IV 2.2(MIMIC-IV)intensive care dataset for data analysis.The main results were the all-cause mortality rates at 3 and 12 months of follow-up.Cumulative curves were plotted using the Kaplan-Meier method,and Cox proportional hazards analysis was used to examine the relationship between RDW and mortality rates in critically ill cerebral infarction patients.Results:The findings indicate that RDW serves as a significant prognostic factor for mortality risk in critically ill stroke patients,specifically at the 3 and 12-month follow-up periods.The observed correlation between increasing RDW levels and higher mortality rates among cerebral infarction patients further supports the potential utility of RDW as a predictive indicator.Conclusion:RDW emerges as an independent predictor of mortality risk during the 3 and 12-month follow-up periods for critically ill patients with cerebral infarction.Lingyan Zhao Linna Wu Gui-Ping Li 2024Journal of Clinical and Nursing Research2024,8,2:0
15Sulfonyldibenzene-based hole-transporting materials for efficient n-i-p perovskite solar cells显示文摘Organic hole-transporting materials(HTMs)are an essential component in conventional perovskite solar cells(PSCs).In this work,two sulfonyldibenzene-based molecules,named CS-04 and CS-05,are synthesized and employed as HTMs in n-i-p PSCs.In comparison with CS-04,the carbazole-substituted methoxytriphenylamine(Cz MOTPA)group in CS-05 exhibits an increased degree of molecular distortion,thus endowing CS-05 with excellent solvent solubility and film-formation ability.Moreover,CS-05 shows a high hole mobility,superior hole extraction and hole transporting properties.As a result,CS-05 yields impressive device performances with a high power conversion efficiency(PCE)of 20.15%,while that of CS-04 based device is 19.50%,which is comparable to that of the Spiro-OMe TAD based control device(19.59%).This finding illustrates the potential of sulfonyldibenzene-based molecules for the applications in PSCs,and also provides a novel avenue to improve the performances and stability of PSCs by tailoring the sulfonyldibenzene-based molecules.Tian Qin Fei Wu Yingxiao Mu Yubo Long Linna Zhu Juan Zhao Zhenguo Chi 2021Science China Chemistry2021,64,1:0

17Interfacial modification using the cross-linkable tannic acid for highly-efficient perovskite solar cells with excellent stability显示文摘Although the performance of perovskite solar cells(PSCs)has been dramatically increased in recent years,stability is still the main obstacle preventing the PSCs from being commercial.PSC device instability can be caused by a variety of reasons,including ions diffusion,surface and grain boundary defects,etc.In this work,the cross-linkable tannic acid(TA)is introduced to modify perovskite film through post-treatment method.The numerous organic functional groups(–OH and C=O)in TA can interact with the uncoordinated Pb^(2+)and I^(-)ions in perovskite,thus passivating defects and inhibiting ions diffusion.In addition,the formed TA network can absorb a small amount of the residual moisture inside the device to protect the perovskite layer.Furthermore,TA modification regulates the energy level of perovskite,and reduces interfacial charge recombination.Ultimately,following TA treatment,the device efficiency is increased significantly from 21.31%to 23.11%,with a decreased hysteresis effect.Notably,the treated device shows excellent air,thermal,and operational stability.In light of this,the readily available,inexpensive TA has the potential to operate as a multipurpose interfacial modifier to increase device efficiency while also enhancing device stability.Xing Gao Lirong Rong Fei Wu Yen-Hung Lin Ye Zeng Junhong Tan Rongxing He Cheng Zhong Linna Zhu 2024Journal of Energy Chemistry2024,91,4:0

19A numerical study on the effect of column layout on air distribution and performance of column attachment ventilation显示文摘Based on the structural characteristics of existing buildings and the disadvantages of current mixed ventilation mode in the application to large space buildings,an original column attachment ventilation(CAV)has been proposed.In this study,the experiment utilized a room space with four columns uniformly distributed in the space to visualize the movement of attached airflow along the cylinder surface and the floor,the numerical technique was employed to study the effects of the column layout(i.e.,uniform,centralized,dispersed,and crossed distribution)on the air distribution of CAV mode in a standard four-column full scale model of a shopping mall.Seven indices,including airflow pattern,air diffusion performance index(ADPI),air temperature distribution,heat removal effectiveness,draught rate(DR),predicted mean vote(PMV),and carbon dioxide(CO2)concentration,were used to assess the ventilation performance.In the CAV mode with a uniform column layout scheme,the experimental results indicated that the air supply flows downward along the wall surface,forming a secondary attachment with the ground and spreading along the floor in a fan radiation flow mode.Further,an“air lake”-like speed and temperature distribution similar to displacement ventilation(DV)was formed in the occupied zone.In all simulation cases,it was found that the average air velocity was less than 0.25 m/s in occupied zone,the effectiveness for heat removal was more significant than 1.0,DR value was less than 20%,the PMV level can also satisfy most people.The average CO2 concentration was around 470 ppm in the occupied breathing zone.These results indicated that the CAV mode could be an efficient air distribution method.They demonstrated the technical feasibility of applying the CAV in the space under different column layout schemes.Haiguo Yin Linna Li Rui Wu Yuanyuan Wang Angui Li 2021Building Simulation2021,14,4:0
