| 1 | A mathematical model of gas flow during coal outburst initiation显示文摘A proposed concept of outburst initiation examines the release of a large amount of gas from coal seams resulted from disintegrating thermodynamically unstable coal organic matter(COM).A coal microstructure is assumed to getting unstable due to shear component appearance triggered by mining operations and tectonic activities considered as the primary factor while COM disintegration under the impact of weak electric fields can be defined as a secondary one.The energy of elastic deformations stored in the coal microstructure activates chemical reactions to tilt the energy balance in a“coal–gas”system.Based on this concept a mathematical model of a gas flow in the coal where porosity and permeability are changed due to chemical reactions has been developed.Using this model we calculated gas pressure changes in the pores initiated by gas release near the working face till satisfying force and energy criteria of outburst.The simulation results demonstrated forming overpressure zone in the area of intensive gas release with enhanced porosity and permeability.The calculated outburst parameters are well combined with those evaluated by field measurements. | Dmytro Rudakov Valeriy Sobolev | 2019 | International Journal of Mining Science and Technology2019,29,5: | 8 |
| 2 | Structure-based Comparative Analysis and Prediction of N-linked Glycosylation Sites in Evolutionarily Distant Eukaryotes显示文摘The asparagine-X-serine/threonine (NXS/T) motif, where X is any amino acid except proline, is the consensus motif for N-linked glycosylation. Significant numbers of high-resolution crystal structures of glycosylated proteins allow us to carry out structural analysis of the N-linked glycosylation sites (NGS). Our analysis shows that there is enough structural information from diverse glycoproteins to allow the development of rules which can be used to predict NGS. A Python-based tool was developed to investigate asparagines implicated in N-glycosylation in five species: Homo sapiens, Mus musculus, Drosophila melanogaster, Arabidopsis thaliana and Saccharomyces cerevisiae. Our analysis shows that 78% of all asparagines of NXS/T motif involved in N-glycosylation are localized in the loop/turn conformation in the human proteome. Similar distribution was revealed for all the other species examined. Comparative analysis of the occurrence of NXS/T motifs not known to be glycosylated and their reverse sequence (S/TXN) shows a similar distribution across the secondary structural elements, indicating that the NXS/T motif in itself is not biologically relevant. Based on our analysis, we have defined rules to determine NGS. Using machine learning methods based on these rules we can predict with 93% accuracy if a particular site will be glycosylated. If structural information is not available the tool uses structural prediction results resulting in 74% accuracy. The tool was used to identify glycosylation sites in 108 human proteins with structures and 2247 proteins without structures that have acquired NXS/T site/s due to non-synonymous variation. | 4 | Strongly Coupled 2D Transition Metal Chalcogenide-MXene-Carbonaceous Nanoribbon Heterostructures with Ultrafast Ion Transport for Boosting Sodium/Potassium Ions Storage显示文摘Combining with the advantages of two-dimensional(2D)nanomaterials,MXenes have shown great potential in next generation rechargeable batteries.Similar with other 2D materials,MXenes generally suffer severe self-agglomeration,low capacity,and unsatisfied durability,particularly for larger sodium/potassium ions,compromising their practical values.In this work,a novel ternary heterostructure self-assembled from transition metal selenides(MSe,M=Cu,Ni,and Co),MXene nanosheets and N-rich carbonaceous nanoribbons(CNRibs)with ultrafast ion transport properties is designed for sluggish sodium-ion(SIB)and potassium-ion(PIB)batteries.Benefiting from the diverse chemical characteristics,the positively charged MSe anchored onto the electronegative hydroxy(-OH)functionalized MXene surfaces through electrostatic adsorption,while the fungal-derived CNRibs bonded with the other side of MXene through amino bridging and hydrogen bonds.This unique MXene-based heterostructure prevents the restacking of 2D materials,increases the intrinsic conductivity,and most importantly,provides ultrafast interfacial ion transport pathways and extra surficial and interfacial storage sites,and thus,boosts the high-rate storage performances in SIB and PIB applications.Both the quantitatively kinetic analysis and the density functional theory(DFT)calculations revealed that the interfacial ion transport is several orders higher than that of the pristine MXenes,which delivered much enhanced Na+(536.3 mAh g^(−1)@0.1 A g^(−1))and K^(+)(305.6 mAh g^(−1)@1.0 A g^(−1))storage capabilities and excel-lent long-term cycling stability.Therefore,this work provides new insights into 2D materials engineering and low-cost,but kinetically sluggish post-Li batteries. | Junming Cao Junzhi Li Dongdong Li Zeyu Yuan Yuming Zhang Valerii Shulga Ziqi Sun Wei Han | 2021 | Nano-Micro Letters2021,13,7: | 5 |

| 6 | Intestinal injury can be reduced by intra-arterial postischemic perfusion with hypertonic saline显示文摘AIM:To investigate the effect of local intestinal perfusion with hypertonic saline(HTS) on intestinal ischemia-reperfusion injury(IRI) in bothex vivo andin vivo rat models.METHODS:All experiments were performed on male Wistar rats anesthetized with pentobarbital sodium given intraperitoneally at a dose of 60 mg/kg.Ex vivo vascularly perfused rat intestine was subjected to 60-min ischemia and either 30-min reperfusion with isotonic buffer(controls),or 5 min with HTS of 365 or 415 mOsm/L osmolarity(HTS 365mOsm or HTS 415mOsm,respectively) followed by 25-min reperfusion with isotonic buffer.The vascular intestinal perfusate flow(IPF) rate was determined by collection of the effluent from the portal vein in a calibrated tube.Spontaneous intestinal contraction rate was monitored throughout.Irreversible intestinal injury or area of necrosis(AN) was evaluated histochemically using 2.3.5-triphenyltetrazolium chloride staining.In vivo,30-min ischemia was followed by either 30-min blood perfusion or 5-min reperfusion with HTS 365mOsm through the superior mesenteric artery(SMA) followed by 25-min blood perfusion.Arterial blood pressure(BP) was measured in the common carotid artery using a miniature pressure transducer.Histological injury was evaluated in both preparations using the Chui score.RESULTS:Ex vivo,intestinal IRI resulted in a reduction in the IPF rate during reperfusion(P < 0.05 vs sham).The postischemic recovery of the IPF rate did not differ between the controls and the HTS 365mOsm group.In the HTS 415mOsm group,postischemic IPF rates were lower than in the controls and the HTS 365mOsm group(P < 0.05).The intestinal contraction rate was similar at baseline in all groups.An increase in this parameter was observed during the first 10 min of reperfusion in the control group as compared to the sham-treated group,but no such increase was seen in the HTS 365mOsm group.In controls,AN averaged 14.8% ± 5.07% of the total tissue volume.Administration of HTS 365mOsm for 5 min after 60-min ischemia resulted in decrease in AN(5.1% ± 1.20% vs controls,P < 0.01).However,perfusion of the intestine with the HTS of greater osmolarity(HTS 415mOsm) failed to protect the intestine from irreversible injury.The Chiu score was lower in the HTS 365mOsm group in comparison with controls(2.4 ± 0.54 vs 3.2 ± 0.44,P = 0.042),while intestinal perfusion with HTS 415mOsm failed to improve the Chiu score.Intestinal reperfusion with HTS 365mOsm in the in vivo series secured rapid recovery of BP after its transient fall,whereas in the controls no recovery was seen.The Chiu score was lower in the HTS 365mOsm group vs controls(3.1 ± 0.26 and 3.8 ± 0.22,P = 0.0079 respectively,),although the magnitude of the effect was lower than in the ex vivo series.CONCLUSION:Brief intestinal postischemic perfusion with HTS 365mOsm through the SMA followed by blood flow restoration is a protective procedure that could be used for the prevention of intestinal IRI. | Oleg Kornyushin Michael Galagudza Anna Kotslova Gelfia Nutfullina Nina Shved Alexey Nevorotin Valeriy Sedov Timur Vlasov | 2013 | World Journal of Gastroenterology2013,19,2: | 4 |
| 7 | 碳酸水-原油体系中CO2分子的扩散行为显示文摘CO2分子在油水相间的扩散传质行为对于致密油藏注CO2提高采收率具有重要意义。通过融合实验测定数据和理论扩散模型,利用试错法同时确定了碳酸水-原油二元体系中CO2分子在油、水两相中的扩散系数。重点研究了油水混合体系的初始压力对扩散系数的影响规律,深入探讨了扩散过程中油水相密度、CO2浓度、油水界面移动以及CO2在油相中扩散前缘位置的变化过程。研究结果表明:(1)随着CO2从水相扩散进入油相,碳酸水-原油体系压力增大,60℃下,扩散10 h,初始压力分别为15.39 MPa、19.25 MPa和22.82 MPa(实验1—实验3)体系,压力增加24%~31%;(2)在两相界面附近,水相密度及水相中CO2浓度逐渐降低,而油相密度及油相中的CO2浓度逐渐升高,导致油相体积膨胀,水相体积收缩,两相界面向水相方向移动;(3)初始压力越高,扩散系数越大。实验1—实验3水相和油相中CO2扩散系数的增幅分别为52.0%和9.2%,表明水相中CO2扩散系数对初始压力更敏感;(4)初始压力越高,相同扩散时间内CO2在油相中的扩散前缘运移越远,扩散100 h后,实验1—实验3前缘位置运移距离分别为4.11 cm、4.32 cm和4.43 cm。 | 魏兵 尚晋 蒲万芬 赵金洲 Kadet Valeriy | 2021 | 石油学报2021,42,1: | 4 |

| 10 | TNF-α gene polymorphisms: association with age-related macular degeneration in Russian population显示文摘AIM: To study polymorphisms in promotor regions of tumor necrosis factor(TNF)-α TNF-863 A/C(rs1800630), TNF-308 A/G(rs1800629), and TNF-238 A/G(rs361525) in patients with age-related macular degeneration(AMD) and associations of complex TNF-α genotypes with AMD. METHODS: One hundred and two patients(82 women, 20 men; mean age 64.2±1.2 y) with AMD and 100 healthy age-and sex-matched controls(82 women, 18 men; 60±1.4 y) were included in the study. All subjects were Caucasian, all subjects and their parents were inhabitants of Russia. Genomic DNA was obtained from EDTA-preserved blood using the standard phenol-chloroform method. Polymorphisms were detected by polymerase chain reaction followed by the restriction fragment length polymorphism method. The following TNF-α genotypes were studied: TNF-α-238 AA, GA, GG, TNF-α-308 AA, GA, GG, TNF-α-863 AA, CA, CC. RESULTS: Differences in TNF-α-863 and TNF-α-238 genotypes frequencies in patients with AMD and healthy controls were not found. The distribution of TNF-α-308 AA and TNF-α-308 GA genotypes was significantly different between the studied group and the controls [odds ratios(OR) =0.22, P=0.0287 and OR=2.91, P=0.0063, respectively]. TNF-863 CC/TNF-308 GA and TNF-308 GA/TNF-238 GG genotypes were associated with the increased risk of AMD(OR=2.48, P=0.0332 and OR=2.51, P=0.0187, respectively). Five genotypes combinations appeared to be protective. CONCLUSION: In the present study, single nucleotide polymorphisms and complex polymorphisms of one of the key inflammatory cytokines TNF-α, and a number of significant associations of these polymorphisms with AMD in Russian population have been shown. It has been found that the dependence of the scintillation index at the axis of the optical vortex on the turbulence intensity at the path has the form of a unit step. It has been shown that the behavior of scintillations in the cross sections of vortex and nonvortex beams differs widely.
