1油罐车火灾下钢-混凝土组合梁桥结构响应研究显示文摘采用数值模拟方法,研究钢-混凝土组合梁式公路桥在大型车辆火灾下的结构响应,考察桥梁形式、火灾工况及荷载比的影响。首先以规范给定的烃类火灾升温曲线及CFD模拟实际油罐车火灾所得到的升温曲线作为温度边界条件,用ABAQUS建立了8个有限元模型进行计算,得出了构件内部温度场,发现实际火灾下斜交桥受火跨最高温度低于正交桥的,但整体温度更高;实际火灾较规范火灾下结构升温更快,最高温度更高;随后以受火升温结果作为温度荷载,通过恒载升温分析,考察了共计18个案例的结构响应,发现正交桥和斜交桥在火灾下的破坏模式有较大差别,前者出现不适于继续承载的变形,同时伴随着远端支座腹板屈曲的局部破坏,而后者主要体现为远端支座腹板严重屈曲;最后提出了针对钢-混凝土组合梁桥抗火措施和设计思路的建议。李国强 许炎彬 Asif Usmani 2016防灾减灾工程学报2016,36,3:18
2基于OpenSees的火灾下钢结构连续性倒塌分析显示文摘主要研究了火灾下平面钢框架的连续性倒塌模式和机制。应用OpenSees软件,对某5跨8层平面钢框架结构模型进行数值分析,研究了荷载比、梁柱刚度比和火灾场景对结构倒塌模式的影响。结果表明,随着荷载比的增大,结构倒塌模式由侧向倾倒式倒塌变为整体下沉式倒塌;当梁柱刚度比较小时,由于梁的悬链性效应,使结构发生偏向受火开间的侧向位移直至倒塌(弱梁机制),当梁的刚度比较大时,破坏首先发生在框架底层柱,结构呈整体下沉式倒塌(强梁机制);火灾中水平和竖向分布易分别引起结构局部和整体的倒塌。姜健 Asif Usmani 李国强 2015防灾减灾工程学报2015,35,1:6
3A real-time forecast of tunnel fire based on numerical database and artificial intelligence显示文摘The extreme temperature induced by fire and hot toxic smokes in tunnels threaten the trapped personnel and firefighters.To alleviate the potential casualties,fast while reasonable decisions should be made for rescuing,based on the timely prediction of fire development in tunnels.This paper targets to achieve a real-time prediction(within 1 s)of the spatial-temporal temperature distribution inside the numerical tunnel model by using artificial intelligence(Al)methods.A CFD database of 100 simulated tunnel fire scenarios under various fire location,fire size,and ventilation condition is established.The proposed Al model combines a Long Short-term Memory(LSTM)model and a Transpose Convolution Neural Network(TCNN).The real-time ceiling temperature profile and thousands of temperature-field images are used as the training input and output.Results show that the predicted temperature field 60 s in advance achieves a high accuracy of around 97%.Also,the Al model can quickly identify the critical temperature field for safe evacuation(i.e.,a critical event)and guide emergency responses and firefighting activities.This study demonstrates the promising prospects of Al-based fire forecasts and smart firefighting in tunnel spaces.Xiqiang Wu Xiaoning Zhang Xinyan Huang Fu Xiao Asif Usmani 2022Building Simulation2022,15,4:6

15Future of mental health in the metaverse显示文摘The metaverse and non-fungible tokens(NFTs)were some of the hottest tech terms in 2021,according to a Google Trends search.Our review aims to describe the metaverse and NFTs in the context of their potential application in the treatment of mental health disorders.Advancements in technology have been changing human lives at an ever-increasing pace.Metaverse,also known as the threedimensional(3D)internet,is the convergence of virtual reality(VR)and physical reality in a digital space.It could potentially change the internet as we know it,with NFTs as the key building blocks in the new expansive virtual ecosystem.This immersive 3D virtual world boasts the features of the real world with the added ability to change the surrounding environment according to individual needs and requirements.VR,augmented reality(AR)and mixed reality(MR)have been employed as tools in the treatment of various mental health disorders for the past decade.Studies have reported positive results on their effectiveness in the diagnosis and treatment of mental health disorders.VR/AR/MR have been hailed as a solution to the acute shortage of mental health professionals and the lack of access to mental healthcare.But,on the flip side,young adults tend to spend a significant amount of time playing 3D immersive games and using social media,which can lead to insecurity,anxiety,depression,and behavioural addiction.Additionally,endless scrolling through social media platforms negatively affects individuals'attention span as well as aggravating the symptoms of adolescents with attention deficit hyperactivity disorder.We aimed to explore the ramifications of expanding applications of the metaverse on mental health.So far,no other review has explored the future of mental health in the context of the metaverse.Sadia Suhail Usmani Medha Sharath Meghana Mehendale 2022General Psychiatry2022,35,4:1
