2Comparative analysis between endometrial proteomes of pregnant and non-pregnant ewes during the peri-implantation period显示文摘Background:Early pregnancy failure has a profound impact on both human reproductive health and animal production.2/3 pregnancy failures occur during the peri-implantation period;however,the underlying mechanism(s)remains unclear.Well-organized modification of the endometrium to a receptive state is critical to establish pregnancy.Aberrant endometrial modification during implantation is thought to be largely responsible for early pregnancy loss.Result:In this study,using well-managed recipient ewes that received embryo transfer as model,we compared the endometrial proteome between pregnant and non-pregnant ewes during implantation period.After embryo transfer,recipients were assigned as pregnant or non-pregnant ewes according to the presence or absence of an elongated conceptus at Day 17 of pregnancy.By comparing the endometrial proteomic profiles between pregnant and non-pregnant ewes,we identified 94 and 257 differentially expressed proteins(DEPs) in the endometrial caruncular and intercaruncular areas,respectively.Functional analysis showed that the DEPs were mainly associated with immune response,nutrient transport and utilization,as well as proteasome-mediated proteolysis.Conclusion:These analysis imply that dysfunction of these biological processes or pathways of DEP in the endometrium is highly associated with early pregnancy loss.In addition,many proteins that are essential for the establishment of pregnancy showed dysregulation in the endometrium of non-pregnant ewes.These proteins,as potential candidates,may contribute to early pregnancy loss.Haichao Zhao Linlin Sui Kai Miao Lei An Dong Wang Zhuocheng Hou Rui Wang Min Guo Zhilong Wang Jiqiang Xu Zhonghong Wu Jianhui Tian 2015Journal of Animal Science and Biotechnology2015,6,3:8
3Excessive gestational weight gain in early pregnancy and insufficient gestational weight gain in middle pregnancy increased risk of gestational diabetes mellitus显示文摘Background:Gestational weight gain(GWG)is associated with the risk of gestational diabetes mellitus(GDM).However,the effect of weight gain in different trimesters on the risk of GDM is unclear.This study aimed to evaluate the effect of GWG on GDM during different trimesters.Methods:A birth cohort study was conducted from 2017 to 2020 in Shenzhen,China.In total,51,205 participants were included comprising two models(early pregnancy model and middle pregnancy model).Gestational weight(kg)was measured at each prenatal clinical visit using a standardized weight scale.Logistic regression analysis was used to assess the risk of GDM.Interaction analysis and mediation effect analysis were performed in the middle pregnancy model.Results:In the early pregnancy model,the risk of GDM was 0.858 times lower(95%confidence interval[CI]:0.786,0.937)with insufficient GWG(iGWG)and 1.201 times higher(95%CI:1.097,1.316)with excessive GWG after adjustment.In the middle pregnancy model,the risk of GDM associated with iGWG increased 1.595 times(95%CI:1.418,1.794)after adjustment;for excessive GWG,no significant difference was found(P=0.223).Interaction analysis showed no interaction between GWG in early pregnancy(GWG-E)and GWG in middle pregnancy(GWG-M)(F=1.268;P=0.280).The mediation effect analysis indicated that GWG-M plays a partial mediating role,with an effect proportion of 14.9%.Conclusions:eGWG-E and iGWG-M are associated with an increased risk of GDM.Strict control of weight gain in early pregnancy is needed,and sufficient nutrition should be provided in middle pregnancy.Aiqi Yin Fuying Tian Xiaoxia Wu Yixuan Chen Kan Liu Jianing Tong Xiaonian Guan Huafan Zhang Linlin Wu Jianmin Niu 2022Chinese Medical Journal2022,,9:5
4Preparation of birnessite-supported Pt nanoparticles and their application in catalytic oxidation of formaldehyde显示文摘Flaky and nanospherical birnessite and birnessite-supported Pt catalysts were successfully prepared and characterized by means of Xray diffraction (XRD),transmission electron microscopy (TEM),energy dispersive spectroscopy (EDS) and N2 adsorption-desorption.Effects of the birnessite morphology and Pt reduction method on the catalytic activity for the complete oxidation of formaldehyde (HCHO) were investigated.It was found that flaky birnessite exhibited higher catalytic activity than nanospherical birnessite.The promoting effect of Pt on the birnessite catalyst indicated that the reduction method of the Pt precursor greatly influenced the catalytic performance.Flaky birnessite-supported Pt nanoparticles reduced by KBH 4 showed the highest catalytic activity and could completely oxidize HCHO into CO2 and H2O at 50℃,whereas the sample reduced using H2-plasma showed lower activity for HCHO oxidation.The differences in catalytic activity of these materials were jointly attributed to the effects of pore structure,surface active sites exposed to HCHO and the dispersion of Pt nanoparticles.Linlin Liu Hua Tian Junhui He Donghui Wang Qiaowen Yang 2012Journal of Environmental Sciences2012,24,6:4

6Oxygen vacancy-engineered BaTiO_(3)nanoparticles for synergistic cancer photothermal,photodynamic,and catalytic therapy显示文摘With the rapid development of photo-responsive nanomaterials,photo-triggered therapeutic strategies such as photothermal therapy(PTT)and photodynamic therapy(PDT)have been new alternatives to current cancer therapeutic methods.Herein,we have fabricated oxygen vacancy-engineered BaTiO_(3)(BTO-Ov)nanoparticles(NPs)for near-infrared(NIR)light-triggered PTT,PDT,and catalytic therapy cooperatively for significantly improving cancer therapy.Compared to pristine BaTiO_(3)nanoparticles,BTO-Ov has stronger NIR light absorption and narrower band gap structure,which results in superior photothermal conversion and superoxide radical generation capabilities through PTT and PDT.Meanwhile,due to the existence of Ti^(3+),BTO-Ov also exhibits peroxidase(POD)-like activity to produce hydroxyl radical under tumor environment,which can be further improved under 808 nm light irradiation.Both in vitro and in vivo results demonstrate that such a multifunctional therapeutic nanoplatform can achieve a high therapeutic efficacy triggered by a single NIR light irradiation.The defect engineering strategy can be used as a general approach to fabricate multifunctional cancer therapeutic nanoplatform.Yiming Ding Zhuo Wang Zeyu Zhang Yunchao Zhao Shangyu Yang Yalong Zhang Shuncheng Yao Shaobo Wang Tian Huang Yang Zhang Linlin Li 2022Nano Research2022,15,8:3

9Bifunctional copper modified graphitic carbon nitride catalysts for efficient tetracycline removal:Synergy of adsorption and photocatalytic degradation显示文摘In order to efficiently re move tetracycline in wastewater through the synergistic effect of adsorption and photocatalytic degradatio n,a series of novel composite materials(Cu doped g-C_(3)N_(4))were synthesized by two-pot hydrothermal method.It was found that the composite materials with optimized ratio(Cu/CN-1)displayed outstanding adsorption and photocatalytic performance as compared with pure g-C_(3)N_(4) photocatalyst.The removal efficiency of tetracycline(TC,50 mg/L)reached almost 99%within 30 min by Cu/CN-1 through the synergy of adsorption and photocatalysis under visible-light irradiation,which was the highest re moval efficiency ever reported.The adsorption kinetics and isotherms of TC on the Cu/CN-1 were well fitted with the pseudo-second-order kinetic model and Langmuir model,respectively.Moreover,it was confirmed that the main effective reactive groups were O_(2)^·and h^(+) in photocatalytic process.The Cu/CN-1 exhibited high stability and excellent reusability after five cycle experiments.Finally,the mechanism of synergy between Cu and g-C_(3)N_(4) was proposed:on the one hand,the decoration of Cu particles significantly increased the adsorption sites of Cu/CN-1 to tetracycline,on the other hand,the modification of Cu particles effectively inhibits charge recombination and broadens the visible light absorption range of the photocatalyst.This study provided a promising photocatalyst to be used for TC removal in the actual wastewater.Huijing Wang Jun Zhang Pu Wang Linlin Yin Yu Tian Junjing Li 2020Chinese Chemical Letters2020,31,10:2

11UBE3A alleviates isoproterenol-induced cardiac hypertrophy through the inhibition of the TLR4/MMP-9 signaling pathway显示文摘Cardiac hypertrophy is considered to be a leading factor in heart function-related deaths.In this study,we explored the potential mechanism underlying cardiac hypertrophy induced by isoproterenol.Our results showed that isoproterenol induced cardiac hypertrophy in AC16 cells,as reflected by the increased cell surface area and increased hypertrophic markers,which was accompanied by increased ubiquitin-protein ligase E3a(UBE3A)expression.Moreover,UBE3A knockdown by siRNAs accelerated cardiac hypertrophy,suggesting that increased UBE3A expres sion induced by isoproterenol might be a protective response and UBE3A might be a protective factor against cardiac hypertrophy.Our study also revealed that UBE3A knockdown increased the protein expression of the TLR4/MMP-9 pathway that has been shown to be associated with cardiac hypertrophy,which suggested that UBE3A-mediated protection is likely to be associated with the blockade of the TLR4/MMP-9 signaling pathway.UBE3A might be thus a potential target gene for the treatment of cardiac hypertrophy.Yanfei Li Linlin Ma Sijie Gu Jiewen Tian Yilin Cao Zi Jin Jingyi Chen Bingbing Gu Jiayin Tu Zhixiao Wang Xinming Li Zhongping Ning Yueling Jin 2020Acta Biochimica et Biophysica Sinica2020,52,1:1

16Generation of developmentally competent oocytes and fertile mice from parthenogenetic embryonic stem cells显示文摘Parthenogenetic embryos,created by activation and diploidization of oocytes,arrest at mid-gestation for defective paternal imprints,which impair placental development.Also,viable offspring has not been obtained without genetic manipulation from parthenogenetic embryonic stem cells(pESCs)derived from parthenogenetic embryos,presumably attributable to their aberrant imprinting.We show that an unlimited number of oocytes can be derived from pESCs and produce healthy offspring.Moreover,normal expression of imprinted genes is found in the germ cells and the mice.pESCs exhibited imprinting consistent with exclusively maternal lineage,and higher X-chromosome activation compared to female ESCs derived from the same mouse genetic background.pESCs differentiated into primordial germ cell-like cells(PGCLCs)and formed oocytes following in vivo transplantation into kidney capsule that produced fertile pups and reconstituted ovarian endocrine function.The transcriptome and methylation of imprinted and X-linked genes in pESC-PGCLCs closely resembled those of in vivo produced PGCs,consistent with efficient reprogramming of methylation and genomic imprinting.These results demonstrate that amplification of germ cells through parthenogenesis faithfully maintains maternal imprinting,offering a promising route for deriving functional oocytes and having potential in rebuilding ovarian endocrine function.Chenglei Tian Linlin Liu Ming Zeng Xiaoyan Sheng Dai Heng Lingling Wang Xiaoying Ye David L.Keefe Lin Liu 2021Protein & Cell2021,12,12:1

18Aromatization and isomerization of methylcyclohexane over Ni catalysts supported on different supports显示文摘In this work, nickel metal supported on different supports(SiO_2, Al_2O_3, ZSM-5) were prepared by spraying nickel nitrate on the supports and calcined at 873 K. Then, they were characterized by XRD, XRF, N_2 adsorption–desorption, NH_3-TPD, MCH-TPD, H_2-TPR, and pyridine-FTIR,and tested as catalysts for the dehydrogenation aromatization and isomerization of methylcyclohexane(MCH) under the conditions of S-Zorb catalytic adsorption desulfurization(T ? 673 K, P ? 1.5 MPa, WHSV ? 5 h^(-1)). The H2-TPR results showed that the interaction of NiO with support decreased in the order of NiO/ZSM-5-Fe < NiO/ZSM-5 < NiO/Al_2O_3< NiO/SiO2. The decrease of the interaction appeared to facilitate the reduction of Ni and therefore to promote the dehydrogenation aromatization of MCH.It was found that a direct correlation existed between the gasoline components yields, cracking activity and the total number of different supports acid sites measured by NH_3-TPD tests. Higher total acidity of ZSM-5 resulted in gasoline loss because of higher cracking activity of MCH. The number of total acid sites of NiO/ZSM-5-Fe decreased and the medium strong Br€onsted acid sites necessary for MCH isomerization increased after the modification of ZSM-5 by iron metal. So, NiO/ZSM-5-Fe exhibited enhanced MCH conversion, aromatic and isomerization yields when compared to NiO/ZSM-5 and other Ni-based catalysts. 20Iron Regulation of Wetland Vegetation Performance Through Synchronous Effects on Phosphorus Acquisition Efficiency显示文摘Iron-rich groundwater flowing into wetlands is a worldwide environmental pollution phenomenon that is closely associated with the stability of wetland ecosystems. Combined with high phosphorus(P) loading from agricultural runoff, the prediction of the evolution of wetland vegetation affected by compound contamination is particularly urgent. We tested the effects of anaerobic iron-rich groundwater discharge in a freshwater marsh by simulating the effect of three levels of eutrophic water on native plants(Glyceria spiculosa(Fr. Schmidt.) Rosh.). The management of wetland vegetation with 1–20 mg/L Fe input is an efficient method to promote the growth of plants, which showed an optimum response under a 0.10 mg/L P surface water environment. Iron-rich groundwater strongly affects the changes in ecological niches of some wetland plant species and the dominant species. In addition, when the P concentration in a natural body of water is too high, the governance effect of eutrophication might not be as expected. Under iron-rich groundwater conditions, the δ^(13)C values of organs were more depleted, which can partially explain the differences in δ^(13)C in the soil profile. Conversely, the carbon isotope composition of soil organic carbon is indicative of past changes in vegetation.
