| 1 | Late Mesozoic Tectonic Evolution of Southwestern Fujian Province,South China:Constraints from Magnetic Fabric,Zircon U-Pb Geochronology and Structural Deformation显示文摘A combined study of magnetic fabrics, zircon U-Pb geochronology and structural deformation was carried out for Late Paleozoic sedimentary and Mesozoic magmatic rocks in the southwestern Fujian rift basin, South China, aiming at deciphering the tectonic evolution during Late Mesozoic. Field observations showed that the Late Mesozoic structure deformations in southwestern Fujian were categorized into four phases: NW-SE compression, ENE-WSW extension, NNE-SSW compression and NNW-SSE extension, sequentially. Zircons picked out from Juzhou granite and WNW-trending diabase dykes showed complete crystal shapes and clear oscillatory zonings on their edges, and the U-Pb dating yielded ages of 132 and 141 Ma, respectively. The susceptibility ellipsoid magnitude parameters of the Juzhou granite are characterized by flaser type strain ellipsoid, with pole density center of K3 falling into the first and the third quadrants, these features revealed that the Juzhou granite formed in ENE-WSW compressional stress field, indicating the early stage of Early Cretaceous extrusion in southwestern Fujian. The late stage of Early Cretaceous NNE-SSW extension was limited by the widespread WNW-trending diabase dykes, which were usually regarded as important indications for a regional extensional setting. | 2 | Autonomous orbit determination using epoch-differenced gravity gradients and starlight refraction显示文摘Autonomous orbit determination via integration of epoch-differenced gravity gradients and starlight refraction is proposed in this paper for low-Earth-orbiting satellites operating in GPSdenied environments. Starlight refraction compensates for the significant along-track position error that occurs from only using gravity gradients and benefits from integration in terms of improved accuracy in radial and cross-track position estimates. The between-epoch differencing of gravity gradients is employed to eliminate slowly varying measurement biases and noise near the orbit revolution frequency. The refraction angle measurements are directly used and its Jacobian matrix derived from an implicit observation equation. An information fusion filter based on a sequential extended Kalman filter is developed for the orbit determination. Truth-model simulations are used to test the performance of the algorithm, and the effects of differencing intervals and orbital heights are analyzed. | 11 | Implanting iodine-125 seeds into rat dorsal root ganglion for neuropathic pain: neuronal microdamage without impacting hind limb motion显示文摘The use of iodine-125(125I) in cancer treatment has been shown to relieve patients' pain. Considering dorsal root ganglia are critical for neural transmission between the peripheral and central nervous systems, we assumed that 125 I could be implanted into rat dorsal root ganglia to provide relief for neuropathic pain. 125 I seeds with different radioactivity(0, 14.8, 29.6 MBq) were implanted separately through L4–5 and L5–6 intervertebral foramen into the vicinity of the L5 dorsal root ganglion. von Frey hair results demonstrated the mechanical pain threshold was elevated after implanting 125 I seeds from the high radioactivity group. Transmission electron microscopy revealed that nuclear membrane shrinkage, nucleolar margination, widespread mitochondrial swelling, partial vacuolization, lysosome increase, and partial endoplasmic reticulum dilation were visible at 1,440 hours in the low radioactivity group and at 336 hours in the high radioactivity group. Abundant nuclear membrane shrinkage, partial fuzzy nuclear membrane and endoplasmic reticulum necrosis were observed at 1,440 hours in the high radioactivity group. No significant difference in combined behavioral scores was detected between preoperation and postoperation in the low and high radioactivity groups. | 20 | Early Warning and Monitoring of Coronavirus Disease 2019 Using Baidu Search Index and Baidu Information Index in Guangxi,China显示文摘Coronavirus disease 2019(COVID-19)is an emerging infectious disease,and it is important to detect early and monitor the disease trend for policymakers to make informed decisions.We explored the predictive utility of Baidu Search Index and Baidu Information Index for early warning of COVID-19 and identified search keywords for further monitoring of epidemic trends in Guangxi.A time-series analysis and Spearman correlation between the daily number of cases and both the Baidu Search Index and Baidu Information Index were performed for seven keywords related to COVID-19 from January 8 to March 9,2020.The time series showed that the temporal distributions of the search terms“coronavirus,”“pneumonia”and“mask”in the Baidu Search Index were consistent and had 2 to 3 days'lead time to the reported cases;the correlation coefficients were higher than 0.81.The Baidu Search Index volume in 14 prefectures of Guangxi was closely related with the number of reported cases;it was not associated with the local GDP.The Baidu Information Index search terms“coronavirus”and“pneumonia”were used as frequently as 192,405.0 and 110,488.6 per million population,respectively,and they were also significantly associated with the number of reported cases(rs>0.6),but they fluctuated more than for the Baidu Search Index and had 0 to 14 days'lag time to the reported cases.The Baidu Search Index with search terms“coronavirus,”“pneumonia”and“mask”can be used for early warning and monitoring of the epidemic trend of COVID-19 in Guangxi,with 2 to 3 days'lead time. | Yihong Xie Wanwan Zhou Jinhui Zhu Yuhua Ruan Xiaomin Wang Tengda Huang | 2022 | Infectious Microbes & Diseases2022,4,4: | 0 |
