| 3 | Film cooling effects on the tip flow characteristics of a gas turbine blade显示文摘An experimental investigation of the tip flow characteristics between a gas turbine blade tip and the shroud was conducted by a pressure-test system and a particle image velocimetry(PIV)system.A three-times scaled profile of the GE-E3 blade with five film cooling holes was used as specimen.The effects on flow characteristics by the rim width and the groove depth of the squealer tip were revealed.The rim widths were(a)0.9%,(b)2.1%,and(c)3.0%of the axial chord,and the groove depths were(a)2.8%,(b)4.8%,and(c)10%of the blade span.Several pressure taps on the top plate above the blades were connected to pressure gauges.By a CCD camera the PIV system recorded the velocity field around the leading edge zone including the five cooling holes.The flow distributions both in the tip clearance and in the passage were revealed,and the influence of the inlet velocity was determined.In this work,the tip flow characteristics with and without film cooling were investigated.The effects of different global blowing ratios of M=0.5,1.0,1.3 and 2.5 were established.It was found that decreasing the rim width resulted in a lower mass flow rate of the leakage flow,and the pressure distributions from the leading edge to the trailing edge showed a linearly increasing trend.It was also found that if the inlet velocity was less than 1.5 m/s,the flow field in the passage far away from the suction side appeared as a stagnation zone. | Jin Wang Bengt Sundén Min Zeng Qiuwang Wang | 2015 | Propulsion and Power Research2015，4，1： | 2 |
| 4 | TENSILE STRENGTH OF GRANULAR MATERIALS显示文摘The tensile strength of a single soil particle is usually measured indirectly by compressing the grain between flat platens until failure occurs,and is defined as the tensile stress at whole-particle fracture.The tensile strength appears to decrease monotonically with the diameter of particles,and is usually characterized by the Weibull statistics.For granular materials,it is impossible to measure constant tensile strength ,unless the flaw effect is taken into account in the tramework of fractal.The fractal dimension of flaw distribution equals to that of the fragmentation of granular materials.The Weibull statistics is modified using the fractal model of flaw distribution.Goodness-of-fit statistics shows that the modified model fits the experimental data much better than the conventional model.The modified model has only one parameter,the fractal dimension of fragmentation D,which can be determined using the mass-size distribution. | XuYongfu DongPing SunDe‘an YaoYangping | 2003 | 岩石力学与工程学报2003，22，6： | 2 |

| 6 | Low temperature surface oxygen activation in crystalline MnO_(2) triggered by lattice confined Pd single atoms显示文摘Tuning the coordination environment is the research axis of single atom catalysts (SACs). SACs are commonly stabilized by various defects from support. Here, we report a lattice confined Pd SAC using MnO_(2) as support. Compared with the Pd clusters anchored on the surface, the lattice confined Pd single atoms allows spontaneous exaction of surrounding lattice oxygen at room temperature when employed in CO oxidation. The MnO_(2) supported Pd SAC exhibited a high turnover frequency of 0.203 s^(−1) at low reaction temperature, which is higher than that of recently reported Pd SACs. Theoretical calculations also confirmed the confined monatomic Pd activate lattice oxygen with an ultralow energy barrier. | 7 | Selenium Regulation of Selenium-dependent Glutathione Peroxidases in Animals and Transfected CHO Cells显示文摘Glutathione peroxidase (GPX1) was the first identified selenium-dependent enzyme, and this enzyme has been most useful as a biochemical indicator of selenium (Se) status and the parameter of choice for determining Se requirements. We have continued to study Se regulation of GPX1 to better understand the underlying mechanism and to gain insight into how cells themselves regulate nutrient status. In progressive Se deficiency in rats, GPX1 activity,protein and mRNA all decrease in a dramatic, coordinated and exponential fashion such that Se-deficient GPX1 mRNA levels are 6-15% of Sexadequate levels. mRNA levels for other Sedependent proteins are far less decreased in the same animals. The mRNA levels for a second Se-dependent peroxidase, phospholipid hydroperoxide glutathione peroxidase (GPX4 ), are little affected by Se deficiency, demonstrating that Se regulation of GPX1 is unique. Se regulation of GPX1 activity in growing male and female rats shows that the Se requirernent is 100 ng/g diet, based on liver GPX1 activity; use of GPX1 mRNA as the parameter indicates that the Se requirement is nearer to 50 ng Se/g diet in both male and female rats. This approach will readily detect an altered dietary Se requirement, as shown by the incremental increases in dietary Se requirement by 150, 100 or 50 ng Se/g diet in Seudeficient rat pups repleted with Se for 3, 7 or 14 d, respectively. Studies with CHO cells stably transfected with recombinant GPX1 also show that overexpression of GPX1 does not alter the minimum level of media Se necessary for Se-adequate levels of GPX1 activity or mRNA.
