| 1 | Potentiating CD8^(+) T cell antitumor activity by inhibiting PCSK9 to promote LDLR-mediated TCR recycling and signaling显示文摘Metabolic regulation has been proven to play a critical role in T cell antitumor immunity.However,cholesterol metabolism as a key component of this regulation remains largely unexplored.Herein,we found that the low-density lipoprotein receptor(LDLR),which has been previously identified as a transporter for cholesterol,plays a pivotal role in regulating CD8+T cell antitumor activity.Besides the involvement of cholesterol uptake which is mediated by LDLR in T cell priming and clonal expansion,we also found a non-canonical function of LDLR in CD8+T cells:LDLR interacts with the T-cell receptor(TCR)complex and regulates TCR recycling and signaling,thus facilitating the effector function of cytotoxic T-lymphocytes(CTLs).Furthermore,we found that the tumor microenvironment(TME)downregulates CD8+T cell LDLR level and TCR signaling via tumor cell-derived proprotein convertase subtilisin/kexin type 9(PCSK9)which binds to LDLR and prevents the recycling of LDLR and TCR to the plasma membrane thus inhibits the effector function of CTLs.Moreover,genetic deletion or pharmacological inhibition of PCSK9 in tumor cells can enhance the antitumor activity of CD8+T cells by alleviating the suppressive effect on CD8+T cells and consequently inhibit tumor progression.While previously established as a hypercholesterolemia target,this study highlights PCSK9/LDLR as a potential target for cancer immunotherapy as well. | Juanjuan Yuan Ting Cai Xiaojun Zheng Yangzi Ren Jingwen Qi Xiaofei Lu Huihui Chen Huizhen Lin Zijie Chen Mengnan Liu Shangwen He Qijun Chen Siyang Feng Yingjun Wu Zhenhai Zhang Yanqing Ding Wei Yang | 2021 | Protein & Cell2021,12,4: | 12 |
| 2 | Circularly polarized luminescent self-organized helical superstructures:From materials and stimulus-responsiveness to applications显示文摘Circularly polarized luminescence(CPL)has gained considerable attention in various systems and has rapidly developed into an emerging research field.To meet the needs of actual applications in diverse fields,a high luminescence dissymmetry factor(glum)and tunable optical performance of CPL would be the most urgent pursuit for researchers.Accordingly,many emerging CPL materials and various strategies have been developed to address these critical issues.Emissive cholesteric liquid crystals(CLCs),that is,luminescent self-organized helical superstructures,are considered to be ideal candidates for constructing CPL-active materials,as they not only exhibit high glum values,but also enable flexible optical control of CPL.This review mainly summarizes the characteristics of CPL based on CLCs as the bulk phase doped with different emitters,including aggregated induced emission molecules,conventional organic small molecules,polymer emitters,metal-organic complex emitters,and luminescent nanoparticles.In addition,the recent significant progress in stimulus-responsive CPL based on emissive CLCs in terms of several types of stimuli,including light,electricity,temperature,mechanical force,and multiple stimuli is presented.Finally,a short perspective on the opportunities and challenges associated with CPL-active materials based on the CLC field is provided.This review is anticipated to offer new insights and guidelines for developing CLC-based CPL-active materials for broader applications. | Yanrong He Siyang Lin Jinbao Guo Quan Li | 2021 | Aggregate2021,2,6: | 2 |
| 3 | Process simulation and energy integration in the mineral carbonation of blast furnace slag显示文摘Large quantities of blast furnace(BF) slag and CO_2 are discharged annually from iron and steel industries, along with a large amount of waste heat.The mineral carbonation of BF slag can not only reduce emissions of solid waste but also realize the in-situ fixation of CO_2 with low energy consumption if integrated with the waste heat utilization.In this study, based on our previous works, Aspen Plus was employed to simulate and optimize the carbonation process and integrate the process energy.The effects of gehlenite extraction, MgSO_4 carbonation,and aluminum ammonium sulfate crystallization were studied systematically.The simulation results demonstrate that 2.57 kg of BF slag can sequester 1 kg of CO_2, requiring 5.34 MJ of energy(3.3 MJ heat and 2.04 MJ electricity), and this energy includes the capture of CO_2 from industrial flue gases.Approximately 60 kg net CO_2 emission reduction could be achieved for the disposal of one ton of BF slag.In addition, the by-product,aluminum ammonium sulfate, is a high value-added product.Preliminary economic analysis indicates that the profit for the whole process is 1127 CNY per ton of BF slag processed. | Jianqiu Gao Chun Li Weizao Liu Jinpeng Hu Lin Wang Qiang Liu Bin Liang Hairong Yue Guoquan Zhang Dongmei Luo Siyang Tang | 2019 | Chinese Journal of Chemical Engineering2019,27,1: | 2 |

| 7 | Infrared spectroscopic probing of dimethylamine clusters in an Ar matrix显示文摘Amines have many atmospheric sources and their clusters play an important role in aerosol nucleation processes. Clusters of a typical amine, dimethylamine(DMA), of different sizes were measured with matrix isolation IR(infrared) and NIR(near infrared)spectroscopy. The NIR vibrations are more separated and therefore it is easier to distinguish different sizes of clusters in this region. The DMA clusters, up to DMA tetramer, have been optimized using density functional methods, and the geometries, binding energies and thermodynamic properties of DMA clusters were obtained. The computed frequencies and intensities of NH-stretching vibrations in the DMA clusters were used to interpret the experimental spectra. We have identified the fundamental transitions of the bonded NH-stretching vibration and the first overtone transitions of the bonded and free NH-stretching vibration in the DMA clusters. Based on the changes in vibrational intensities during the annealing processes, the growth of clusters was clearly observed. | 9 | Capacity Optimization Configuration of Hydrogen Production System for Offshore Surplus Wind Power显示文摘To solve the problem of residual wind power in offshore wind farms,a hydrogen production system with a reasonable capacity was configured to enhance the local load of wind farms and promote the local consumption of residual wind power.By studying the mathematical model of wind power output and calculating surplus wind power,as well as considering the hydrogen production/storage characteristics of the electrolyzer and hydrogen storage tank,an innovative capacity optimization allocation model was established.The objective of the model was to achieve the lowest total net present value over the entire life cycle.The model took into account the cost-benefit breakdown of equipment end-of-life cost,replacement cost,residual value gain,wind abandonment penalty,hydrogen transportation,and environmental value.The MATLAB-based platform invoked the CPLEX commercial solver to solve the model.Combined with the analysis of the annual average wind speed data from an offshore wind farm in Guangdong Province,the optimal capacity configuration results and the actual operation of the hydrogen production system were obtained.Under the calculation scenario,this hydrogen production system could consume 3,800 MWh of residual electricity from offshore wind power each year.It could achieve complete consumption of residual electricity from wind power without incurring the penalty cost of wind power.Additionally,it could produce 66,500 kg of green hydrogen from wind power,resulting in hydrogen sales revenue of 3.63 million RMB.It would also reduce pollutant emissions from coal-based hydrogen production by 1.5 tons and realize an environmental value of 4.83 million RMB.The annual net operating income exceeded 6 million RMB and the whole life cycle NPV income exceeded 50 million RMB.These results verified the feasibility and rationality of the established capacity optimization allocation model.The model could help advance power system planning and operation research and assist offshore wind farm operators in improving economic and environmental benefits. | Yanshan Lu Binbin He Jun Jiang Ruixiao Lin Xinzhen Zhang Zaimin Yang Zhi Rao Wenchuan Meng Siyang Sun | 2023 | Energy Engineering2023,120,12: | 0 |

| 13 | Evaluation of Medical Malpractice Litigations in China, 2002–2011显示文摘In the past 10 years,medical malpractice litigations have become a serious public health and social issues in China.This study aims to evaluate the medical malpractice litigations in Beijing.A retrospective study was conducted using the database from the Key Laboratory of Evidence Science(KLES)at China University of Political Science and Law(CUPL)to demonstrate the extent and characteristics of the alleged medical malpractice cases and the conclusions of forensic evaluation from 2002 to 2011 in Beijing.A total of 1515 alleged medical malpractice cases were investigated by forensic medical experts at KLES‑CUPL during the study period.Of the 1515 cases,45.2%were male patients and 54.8%were female patients.The age of the patients ranged from newborn to 90 years,with average age of 44 years.The alleged medical malpractice cases involved 11.3%of newborns.From 2002 to 2006,the average number of medical malpractice litigations was 123 cases per year,while from 2007 to 2011,the average number of medical malpractice litigations was 180 per year,a 46%increase.Of the 1515 cases,588(38.8%)litigations were due to the patients’death.Clinical departments involved in claims most often were obstetrics(18.9%),followed by orthopedics(15.1%)and general surgery(11.5%).Medical error was found in 945(62.4%)cases.Of the 945 confirmed medical malpractice cases,the top medical misadventures were diagnostic errors(36.5%),improper performance of procedures(36.4%),and medication error(12.6%).Although tertiary hospitals were more likely to be sued than the secondary and primary hospitals(63.6%vs.36.4%),there was no significant difference between tertiary and secondary hospitals in the percentage of confirmed malpractice cases(62.3%vs.59.4%).The primary hospitals had the highest confirmed malpractice cases(73.2%). | Tiantong Yang Guozhong Zhang Xu Wang Shengli Di Haidong Zhang Daming Sun Siyang Xiang Dong Zhao Lin Chang Ling Li | 2016 | Journal of Forensic Science and Medicine2016,2,4: | 0 |
