1High-Performance Flexible Asymmetric Supercapacitor Based on CoAl-LDH and rGO Electrodes显示文摘A flexible asymmetric supercapacitor(ASC)based on a Co Al-layered double hydroxide(Co Al-LDH)electrode and a reduced graphene oxide(r GO) electrode was successfully fabricated. The Co Al-LDH electrode as a positive electrode was synthesized by directly growing Co Al-LDH nanosheet arrays on a carbon cloth(CC)through a facile hydrothermal method, and it delivered a specific capacitance of 616.9 F g^(-1)at a current density of1 A g^(-1). The r GO electrode as a negative electrode was synthesized by coating r GO on the CC via a simple dipcoating method and revealed a specific capacitance of110.0 F g^(-1)at a current density of 2 A g^(-1). 2Effect of Different Rootstocks on the Salt Stress Tolerance in Watermelon Seedlings显示文摘The selection of salt-tolerant watermelon rootstocks requires the evaluation of its underlying mechanism. The present study investigated the effect of applying 200 mmol·L-1 NaCl on various physiological and biochemical parameters of Citrullus lanatus ‘Jingxin No.2'(abbreviated as W) seedlings grafted onto W, Cucurbita moschata ‘Quanneng Tiejia'(P1), ‘Kaijia No.1'(P2), and Lagenaria siceraria ‘Hanzhen No.3'(G), which were grown hydroponically. All the measured growth parameters were significantly inhibited by salt stress, with W/P2 exhibiting superior growth. Salt stress increased Na+uptake, which in turn disrupted K+/Na+homeostasis in all grafting combinations. The photosynthetic capacity, chlorophyll concentration, and photochemical efficiency of photosystem II of all grafts significantly decreased with salt stress. However, W grafted onto G and P2 showed higher resistance than W grafted onto W and P1. Electrolyte leakage(EL) superoxide dismutase, catalase, peroxidase, and ascorbate peroxidase activity were significantly affected by both grafting and salt stress. Minimum EL was observed in W/P2, which also exhibited superior antioxidative capacity. Physiological and biochemical assessment indicated that W grafted onto the P2 rootstock displayed the greatest salt tolerance. 3Epidemiology of urticaria in China:a population-based study显示文摘Background:Urticaria is a common skin disease characterized by episodes of wheals,and it has a negative effect on patients’quality of life.Large-scale population-based epidemiological studies of urticaria are scarce in China.The aim of this survey was to determine the prevalence,clinical forms,and risk factors of urticaria in the Chinese population.Methods:This survey was conducted in 35 cities from 31 provinces,autonomous regions,and municipalities of China.Two to three communities in each city were selected in this investigation.Participants completed questionnaires and received dermatological examinations.We analyzed the prevalence,clinical forms,and risk factors of urticaria.Results:In total,44,875 questionnaires were distributed and 41,041 valid questionnaires were collected(17,563 male and 23,478 female participants).The lifetime prevalence of urticaria was 7.30%,with 8.26%in female and 6.34%in male individuals(P<0.05).The point prevalence of urticaria was 0.75%,with 0.79%in female and 0.71%in male individuals(P<0.05).Concomitant angioedema was found in 6.16%of patients.Adults had a higher prevalence of urticaria than adolescents and children.Living in urban areas,exposure to pollutants,an anxious or depressed psychological status,a personal and family history of allergy,thyroid diseases,and Helicobacter pylori infection were associated with a higher prevalence of urticaria.Smoking was correlated with a reduced risk of urticaria.Conclusion:This study demonstrated that the lifetime prevalence of urticaria was 7.30%and the point prevalence was 0.75%in the Chinese population;women had a higher prevalence of urticaria than men.Various factors were correlated with urticaria.Jiaqing Li Dandan Mao Shuoshuo Liu Ping Liu Jing Tian Chenhong Xue Xiaojing Liu Ruiqun Qi Bingxue Bai Jianjun Nie Siqi Ye Yu Wang Yuye Li Qing Sun Juan Tao Shuping Guo Hong Fang Jianqin Wang Qiri Mu Quanzhong Liu Yan Ding Jianzhong Zhang 2022Chinese Medical Journal2022,,11:6
4Fabrication and properties of anodic alumina humidity sensor with through-hole structure显示文摘Through-hole structural humidity sensor was fabricated by radio-frequency magnetron sputtering deposition of gold electrodes on two sides of anodic aluminum oxide (AAO) membranes which were prepared by two-step anodization procedure at 0―5℃ and 40 V in 0.5 mol/L oxalic acid electrolyte. The investigation on the impedance at various humid conditions showed a linear relationship between im- pedance and relative humidity over the range of 12%―97% RH. 5Fabrication of porous alumina templates with a large-scale tunable interpore distance in a H_2C_2O_4-C_2H_5OH-H_2O solution显示文摘Highly ordered porous alumina templates with a large-scale tunable interpore distance (100―445 nm) have been successfully fabricated under an electric field of 40―180 V by modifying oxalic acid solution with adequate alcohol. The results under our experimental conditions show that the phenomena of burning and breakdown during the high-field anodization process can be avoided by adding a proper amount of alcohol to the oxalic acid solution. 6Measurements and Characterization for the Vehicle-to-Infrastructure Channel in Urban and Highway Scenarios at 5.92GHz显示文摘In the future smart transportation system, reliable vehicle-to-infrastructure(V2 I) communication is very important to ensure vehicle driving safety and to improve vehicle driving efficiency. In this paper, V2 I channel measurements at 5.92 GHz are conducted in typical urban and highway scenarios.The frequency and bandwidth of transmission, as well as the deployment of the RSU(roadside unit) and the OBU(on board unit), are selected by considering the recommendation proposed by 3 GPP TR 36.885. Then,based on the measured data, the key channel characteristic parameters of the V2 I channel are extracted,including path loss, root-mean-square delay spread,stationarity distance, and Doppler spread, etc. Also,the statistical characteristics of the parameters, including time-varying and Doppler characteristics, are investigated and characterized. 7Cloning and heterologous expression of pro-2127,a gene encoding cold-active protease from Pseudoalteromonas sp.QI-1显示文摘The psychrotropic bacterium,Pseudoalteromonas sp.QI-1,which produces extracellular cold-active protease,was isolated from Antarctic seawater.The genomic DNA of this bacterium was used to construct a plasmid genomic library with the goal of screening cold-active protease genes.Gene pro-2127 with an open reading frame of 2127 bp encoding protease PRO-2127 was cloned and sequenced.Alignment of amino acid sequences suggested that the precursor of PRO-2127 was a member of subfamily S8A,and that it might contain four domains:a signal peptide,an N-terminal prosequence,a catalytic domain and a C-terminal extension.Amino acids Asp185,His244 and Ser425 might form a catalytic triad.PRO-2127 showed some structural features common to psychrophilic enzymes,such as a decrease in Arg residues and the Arg/(Arg+Lys) ratio.Heterologous expression of pro-2127 in Escherichia coli BL21 (DE3) by pColdIII was also successfully observed in this study.XU GuoYing CUI ShuoShuo LIN XueZheng 2011Advances in Polar Science2011,22,2:1

9R158Q and G212S,novel pathogenic compound heterozygous variants in SLC12A3 of Gitelman syndrome显示文摘The dysfunction of Na^(+)-Cl^(−)cotransporter(NCC)caused by mutations in solute carrier family12,member 3 gene(SLC12A3)primarily causes Gitelman syndrome(GS).In identifying the pathogenicity of R158Q and G212S variants of SLC12A3,we evaluated the pathogenicity by bioinformatic,expression,and localization analysis of two variants from a patient in our cohort.The prediction of mutant protein showed that p.R158Q and p.G212S could alter protein’s three-dimensional structure.Western blot showed a decrease of mutant Ncc.Immunofluorescence of the two mutations revealed a diffuse positive staining below the plasma membrane.Meanwhile,we conducted a compound heterozygous model—Ncc^(R156Q/G210S)mice corresponding to human NCC R158Q/G212S.Ncc^(R156Q/G210S)mice clearly exhibited typical GS features,including hypokalemia,hypomagnesemia,and increased fractional excretion of K^(+)and Mg^(2+)with a normal blood pressure level,which made Ncc^(R156Q/G210S)mice an optimal mouse model for further study of GS.A dramatic decrease and abnormal localization of the mutant Ncc in distal convoluted tubules contributed to the phenotype.The hydrochlorothiazide test showed a loss of function of mutant Ncc in Ncc^(R156Q/G210S)mice.These findings indicated that R158Q and G212S variants of SLC12A3 were pathogenic variants of GS.Zongyue Li Huixiao Wu Shuoshuo Wei Moke Liu Yingzhou Shi Mengzhu Li Ning Wang Li Fang Bo Xiang Ling Gao Chao Xu Jiajun Zhao 2022Frontiers of Medicine2022,16,6:1
10Genome-wide characterization of MATE family members in Cucumis melo L.and their expression profiles in response to abiotic and biotic stress显示文摘The multidrug and toxic compound extrusion(MATE) family plays pivotal roles in the detoxification process in plants, while no information has been provided for this gene family in melon(Cucumis melo L.) thus far, limiting our understanding of its functions in melon acclimation to stressful environments. In this study, a total of 39 MATEs(CmMATE1–CmMATE39) were observed in the melon genome;these were unevenly distributed in all chromosomes, with the most on Chromosome 1. Based on their orthologous relationship with those from Arabidopsis, rice, and sorghum, melon MATEs were clustered into three subfamilies of Clades Ⅰ, Ⅱ, and Ⅲ, wherein 23, 9, and 7 members were included, respectively.Variable exon number was observed in CmMATEs, and the most were harbored by CmMATE8. Gene ontology(GO) term and cis-regulatory element(CRE) analyses pointed to the potential roles of CmMATEs in both the regulation of melon development and acclimation to various abiotic and biotic stressors. The RNA-seq and qRT-PCR(quantitative real-time PCR) results demonstrated that under normal growth conditions, CmMATEs were expressed in a tissue-and development-specific manner, while their abundance apparently varied in a stress-dependent manner when melon plants were exposed to unfavorable environmental conditions. 11Isoforsythiaside confers neuroprotection against Alzheimer's disease by attenuating ferroptosis and neuroinflammation in vivo and in vitro显示文摘Ferroptosis and neuroinflammation contribute to the development of Alzheimer's disease(AD). Isoforsythiaside(IFY)is a phenylethanoid glycoside isolated from the dried fruit of Forsythia suspensa(Thunb.)Vahl that has been confirmed to improve the memory and cognitive abilities of APP/PS1 mice in our previous study. The purpose of this study was to explore the anti-ferroptosis and anti-neuroinflammatory properties of IFY-mediated neuroprotection. In APP/PS1 mice, erastin-damaged HT22 cells, and LPS-exposed BV2 cells, the neuroprotective effects against ferroptosis and neuroinflammation were investigated using immunohistochemistry, label-free proteomics, western blot, ELISA, MTT, fluorescence, and TEM. IFY alleviated the expression levels of NO, IL-6, and IL-1β in LPS-exposed BV2 cells and improved the morphology of mitochondria in erastin-damaged HT22 cells. Additionally, IFY upregulated the expression levels of GPX4, FTH, FTL, p-GSK-3β, Nrf2, and NQO1, and downregulated the expression of TFR1, DMT1, p-Fyn, GFAP, p-IKKα+β, p-IκBα, p-NF-κB, and pro-inflammatory factors in the brains of APP/PS1 mice and erastin-damaged HT22 cells. In conclusion, IFY inhibits ferroptosis and neuroinflammation in erastin-damaged HT22 cells and APP/PS1 mice, at least partially by regulating the activation of Nrf2 and NF-κB signaling. 12Nonlinear optical trapping effect with reverse saturable absorption显示文摘Nonlinear responses of nanoparticles induce enlightening phenomena in optical tweezers. With thegradual increase in optical intensity, effects from saturable absorption (SA) and reverse SA (RSA) arise insequence and thereby modulate the nonlinear properties of materials. In current nonlinear optical traps,however, the underlying physical mechanism is mainly confined within the SA regime because thresholdvalues required to excite the RSA regime are extremely high. Herein, we demonstrate, both in theory andexperiment, nonlinear optical tweezing within the RSA regime, proving that a fascinating composite trappingstate is achievable at ultrahigh intensities through an optical force reversal induced through nonlinearabsorption. 13Prognostic factors for patients with limited-stage small-cell lung cancer without receiving prophylactic cranial irradiation显示文摘Objective:This retrospective study aims to explore the risk factors for brain metastasis and the prognostic factors for overall survival(OS)in patients with limited-stage small-cell lung cancer(LS-SCLC)who have no brain metastases according to magnetic resonance imaging(MRI)and have not received prophylactic cranial irradiation(PCI)after first-line chemoradiotherapy.Methods:A total of 107 patients who were treated in the Fourth Hospital of Hebei Medical University from January 2013 to December 2017 were enrolled in this study.The patients were treated with etoposide/platinum chemotherapy and thoracic radiotherapy(TRT)with involved-field irradiation.The median dose of the radiotherapy was 60 Gy(50-64 Gy).The primary study endpoints include BMFS(brain-metastasis-free survival)and OS(overall survival).The Kaplan-Meier method was applied to estimate survival,with a log-rank test used to ascertain statistical significance.The multivariate Cox proportional hazards model was used to determine the prognostic factors for survival.Results:The median follow-up of all patients was 18.8 months(range:7.9–65.1 months)and the median follow-up of surviving patients was 26.7 months(range:18.8–65.1 months).The median OS of the whole cohort was 20.1 months,and the 1-,2-and 3-year OS rates were 84.9%,44.9%,and 25.9%,respectively.The 1-,2-,and 3-year BMFS rates were 69.0%,49.9%,and 40.7%,respectively.50 patients(46.7%)developed brain metastases during the follow-up period,and the median time from the start to brain metastasis was 10.7 months(range:4.8–31.1 months).As shown by multivariate analysis,independent prognostic factors of OS included cycles of chemotherapy(P=0.019),the response to initial treatment(P=0.011),and the start time of TRT(P=0.044).The independent prognostic factors of BMFS included the clinical stage(P=0.008),the response to initial treatment(P=0.024),and the start time of TRT(P=0.028).Conclusions:For patients with LS-SCLC who have not received PCI,favorable factors for lower brain metastasis and higher survival include early clinical stage,CR to initial chemoradiotherapy,early TRT,and adequate cycles of chemotherapy.PCI is still recommended as the standard modality since the incidence of brain metastases was high(46.7%).Cuimin Ding Jing Li Shuoshuo Wang Chen Yang Rui Zhang Wenwen Bai Ming Liu Chanjun Zhen Xueying Qiao 2020Radiation Medicine and Protection2020,1,2:0

15Synergistic tribological effect between polyisobutylene succinimide-modified molybdenum oxide nanoparticle and zinc dialkyldithiophosphate for reducing friction and wear of diamond-like carbon coating under boundary lubrication显示文摘Organic molybdenum lubricant additive like molybdenum dialkyl dithiocarbamate(MoDTC)can cause wear acceleration of diamond-like carbon(DLC)coating coupled with steel under boundary lubrication,which hinders its industrial application.Therefore,polyisobutylene succinimide(PIBS),an organo molybdenum amide,was adopted to modify molybdenum oxide affording molybdenum polyisobutylene succinimidemolybdenum oxide nanoparticles(MPIBS-MONPs)with potential to prevent the wear acceleration of DLC coating.The thermal stability of MPIBS-MONPs was evaluated by thermogravimetric analysis.Their tribological properties as the additives in di-isooctyl sebacate(DIOS)were evaluated with MoDTC as a control;and their tribomechanism was investigated in relation to their tribochemical reactions and synergistic tribological effect with zinc dialkyldithiophosphate(ZDDP)as well as worn surface characterizations.Findings indicate that MPIBS-MONPs/ZDDP added in DIOS can significantly reduce the friction and wear of DLC coating,being much superior to MoDTC.This is because MPIBS-MONPs and ZDDP jointly take part in tribochemical reactions to form a composite tribofilm that can increase the wear resistance of DLC coating.Namely,the molybdenum amide on MPIBS-MONPs surface can react with ZDDP to form MoS2 film with excellent friction-reducing ability;and MPIBS-MONPs can release molybdenum oxide nanoparticle to form deposited lubrication layer on worn surfaces.The as-formed composite tribofilm consisting of molybdenum oxide nanocrystal,amorphous polyphosphate,and molybdenum disulfide as well as a small amount of Mo2C accounts for the increase in the wear resistance of DLC coating under boundary lubrication.Shuoshuo CHEN Ningning SONG Shengmao ZHANG Yujuan ZHANG Laigui YU Pingyu ZHANG 2023Friction2023,11,11:0

18Laser irradiation constructing all-in-one defective graphenepolyimide separator for effective restraint of lithium dendrites and shuttle effect显示文摘The commercialization of lithium-sulfur(Li-S)batteries faces several bottlenecks,and the major two of which are the shuttle effect of polysulfides and the wild growth of Li dendrites,responsible for fast capacity decay and severe safety issues.As an essential component of Li-S batteries,the structure and properties of the separators are closely related to the above problems,and the exploration of multifunctional separators is highly sought-after.Herein,an integrated separator composited of defective graphene and polyimide(DG-PI)was innovatively fabricated by electrospinning combined with the laser-induced carbonization strategy.The all-in-one compact architecture with well-interconnected channels shows superior mechanical and thermal stability and wettability.More importantly,the PI nanofibers containing N–/O–functional groups can induce the uniform deposition of lithium on the anode surface,while the DG framework with abundant pentagonal/heptagonal rings and vacancies can strongly trap polysulfides and accelerate polysulfide transformation on the cathode side.The strong chemical interaction between the insulative PI layer and the conductive DG layer modulates the surface charge distribution of each other,leading to more prominent contributions to restraining lithium dendrites and shuttle effect.Therefore,the Li-S batteries based on the integrated DG-PI separators afford an excellent performance in protecting lithium anode(stable cycles of 200 h at 5 mA·cm^(−2))and good cycling stability with a low capacity decay of 0.05%per cycle after 700 cycles at 1 C.This work offers a new design concept of multifunctional Li-S battery separators and broadens the application scope of laser micro-nano fabrication technology.Jiawei Mu Mengdi Zhang Yanan Li Zhiliang Dong Yuanyuan Pan Bei Chen Zhengqiu He Haiqiu Fang Shuoshuo Kong Xin Gu Han Hu Mingbo Wu 2023Nano Research2023,16,10:0
