| 6 | Integrated ‘all-in-one’ strategy to stabilize zinc anodes for high-performance zinc-ion batteries显示文摘Many optimization strategies have been employed to stabilize zinc anodes of zinc-ion batteries(ZIBs).Although these commonly used strategies can improve anode performance, they simultaneously induce specific issues. In this study, through the combination of structural design, interface modification, and electrolyte optimization, an ’all-in-one’(AIO) electrode was developed. Compared to the three-dimensional(3D) anode in routine liquid electrolytes, the new AIO electrode can greatly suppress gas evolution and the occurrence of side reactions induced by active water molecules, while retaining the merits of a 3D anode. Moreover, the integrated AIO strategy achieves a sufficient electrode/electrolyte interface contact area, so that the electrode can promote electron/ion transfer, and ensure a fast and complete redox reaction. As a result, it achieves excellent shelving-restoring ability(60 hours, four times)and 1200 cycles of long-term stability without apparent polarization. When paired with two common cathode materials used in ZIBs(α-MnO_(2)and NH_(4)V_(4)O_(10)), full batteries with the AIO electrode demonstrate high capacity and good stability. | 11 | Assessment of Electricity Productivity in China:Regional Differences and Convergence显示文摘Electricity productivity is regarded as a major assessment indicator in the design of energy saving policies,given that China has entered a“New Normal”of economic development.In fact,enhancing electricity productivity in an all-round way,as is one of the binding indicators for energy and environmental issues,means that non-growth target of total electric energy consumption in the economic development is feasible.The Gini coefficient,Theil index,and Mean log deviation are utilized to measure regional differences in China’s electricity productivity from 1997 to 2016 in five regions,and conditionalβconvergence is empirically analyzed with the spatial Durbin model.The results show that:(1)China’s electricity productivity is improving,while the overall feature is that the eastern area has a higher efficiency than the western area.(2)The difference in electricity productivity is the smallest in the northeast and the largest in the northwest.Interregional difference plays an important role and is the main cause for the differences.(3)The electricity productivity in China exhibitsβconvergence,except for the northwest.The positive driving factor is urbanization level(0.0485%),and the negative driving factor is FDI(–0.0104%).Moreover,the urbanization rate(0.0669%),foreign direct investment(0.0960%),and the industrial structure(–0.0769%)have a spatial spillover effect on improving regional electricity productivity.Based on this conclusion,the study provides some recommendations for saving energy policy design in China’s power industry. | Pinjie Xie Ying Zhai Fan Yang Zhuowen Mu Chao Wang | 2021 | Energy Engineering2021,118,5: | 0 |

| 13 | Research on Treatment Technology for the Industrial Wastewaters with High Concentrationin China显示文摘By using the introduced CWO technology and its 200 L/d plant, more than 10 kinds of industrial wastewaters with high concentration in China, such as the waste liquor of coking, the black liquor of paper making, the waste mother liquor of bio-pharmacy and so on, were treated in this test research. The results showed that the CWO technology and its equipment had a good applicability for treating the industrial wastewaters with high concentration in China. One set of CWO-20 m^3/d industrial plant, as a demonstration engineering installation of CWO technology, was independently designed, made and operated in Kunming city. During the running test, the CWO-20 m^3/d plant displayed a favorable treatment capability for the bio-degradedly difficult industrial wastewaters with high concentration. For the treatment of the waste liquor from coking and the black liquor of paper making, more than 99% of CODcr and NH3-N in the wastewater could be removed. The CWO-20 m^3/d plant could be run continuously and stably.
