Quantum Control Strategy Based on State Distance显示文摘Based on Bures distance, a Lyapunov function that represents the distance between a desired state and the actual state of a quantum system is selected. Considering the cases that an initial state is and is not orthogonal to the desired state respectively, we propose a class of control strategies with state feedback that ensures the stability of the closed-loop control system. Especially, the asymptotic stability of the control system is analyzed, deduced and proved in detail. Finally, a simulation experiment on a spin-1/2 particle system is done and the relation between the system state evolution time and control value is analyzed with diffierent parameters . Research results have general theoretical meaning for control of quantum systems. | CONG Shuang KUANG Sen | 2007 | 自动化学报2007,33,1: | 10
Endothelial CDS2 deficiency causes VEGFA-mediated vascular regression and tumor inhibition显示文摘The response of endothelial cells to signaling stimulation is critical for vascular morphogenesis, homeostasis and function.Vascular endothelial growth factor-a(VEGFA)has been commonly recognized as a pro-angiogenic factor in vertebrate developmental, physiological and pathological conditions for decades. Here we report a novel finding that genetic ablation of CDP-diacylglycerol synthetase-2(CDS2),a metabolic enzyme that controls phosphoinositide recycling, switches the output of VEGFA signaling from promoting angiogenesis to unexpectedly inducing vessel regression.Live imaging analysis uncovered the presence of reverse migration of the angiogenic endothelium in cds2 mutant zebrafish upon VEGFA stimulation, and endothelium regression also occurred in postnatal retina and implanted tumor models in mice.In tumor models,CDS2 deficiency enhanced the level of tumorsecreted VEGFA,which in-turn trapped tumors into a VEGFA-induced vessel regression situation, leading to suppression of tumor growth.Mechanistically,VEGFA stimulation reduced phosphatidylinositol(4,5)-bisphosphate(PIP2)availability in the absence of CDS2-controlled-phosphoinositide metabolism, subsequently causing phosphatidylinositol(3,4,5)-triphosphate(PIP3)deficiency and F0X01 activation to trigger regression of CDS2-null endothelium. Thus, our data indicate that the effect of VEGFA on vasculature is context-dependent and can be converted from angiogenesis to vascular regression. | Wencao Zhao Le Cao Hanru Ying Wenjuan Zhang Dantong Li Xiaolong Ziiu Wenzhi Xue Shuang Wu Mengye Cao Cong Fu Haonan Qi Yimei Hao Yun-Chi Tang Jun Qin Tao PZhong Xiaoxi Lin Luyang Yu Xuri Li Lin Li Dianqing Wu Weijun Pan | 2019 | Cell Research2019,29,11: | 9

Trajectory tracking control of quantum systems显示文摘For quantum state trajectory tracking of density matrix in Liouville equation of quantum systems, with the help of concept in quantum system control, one can apply unitary transformation both to controlled system and free-evolutionary target system such as to change the time-variant and non-stationary target system into a stationary state. Therefore, the quantum state trajectory tracking problem becomes a steering one.State steering control law of the system transformed is designed by means of the Lyapunov stability theorem. Finally, numerical simulation experiments are given for a five-level energy quantum system. The comparison analysis of original system's trajectory tracking with other method illustrates the advantage in control time of the method proposed. | Shuang Cong JianXiu Liu | 2012 | Chinese Science Bulletin2012,57,18: | 5
Pericytes augment glioblastoma cell resistance to temozolomide through CCL5-CCR5 paracrine signaling显示文摘Glioblastoma(GBM)is a prevalent and highly lethal form of glioma, with rapid tumor progression and frequent recurrence.Excessive outgrowth of pericytes in GBM governs the ecology of the perivascular niche, but their function in mediating chemoresistance has not been fully explored.Herein,we uncovered that pericytes potentiate DNA damage repair(DDR)in GBM cells residing in the perivascular niche, which induces temozolomide(TMZ)chemoresistance. We found that increased pericyte proportion correlates with accelerated tumor recurrence and worse prognosis.Genetic depletion of pericytes in GBM xenografts enhances TMZ-induced cytotoxicity and prolongs survival of tumor-bearing mice.Mechanistically,C-C motif chemokine ligand 5(CCL5)secreted by pericytes activates C-C motif chemokine receptor 5(CCR5)on GBM cells to enable DNA-dependent protein kinase catalytic subunit(DNA-PKcs)-mediated DDR upon TMZ treatment.Disrupting CCL5-CCR5 paracrine signaling through the brain-penetrable CCR5 antagonist maraviroc(MVC)potently inhibits pericyte-promoted DDR and effectively improves the chemotherapeutic efficacy of TMZ.GBM patient-derived xenografts with high CCL5 expression benefit from combined treatment with TMZ and MVC.Our study reveals the role of pericytes as an extrinsic stimulator potentiating DDR signaling in GBM cells and suggests that targeting CCL5-CCR5 signaling could be an effective therapeutic strategy to improve chemotherapeutic efficacy against GBM. | Xiao-Ning Zhang Kai-Di Yang Cong Chen Zhi-Cheng He Qiang-Hu Wang Hua Feng Sheng-Qing Lv Yan Wang Min Mao Qing Liu Yao-Yao Tan Wen-Ying Wang Tian-Ran Li Lin-Rong Che Zhong-Yi Qin Ling-Xiang Wu Min Luo Chun-Hua Luo Yu-Qi Liu Wen Yin Chao Wang Hai-Tao Guo Qing-Rui Li Bin Wang Wei Chen Shuang Wang Yu Shi Xiu-Wu Bian Yi-Fang Ping | 2021 | Cell Research2021,31,10: | 5

An all-round AI-Chemist with a scientific mind显示文摘The realization of automated chemical experiments by robots unveiled the prelude to an artificial intelligence(AI)laboratory.Several AI-based systems or robots with specific chemical skills have been demonstrated, but conducting all-round scientific research remains challenging. Here,we present an all-round AI-Chemist equipped with scientific data intelligence that is capable of performing basic tasks generally required in chemical research.Based on a service platform, the AI-Chemist is able to automatically read the literatures from a cloud database and propose experimental plans accordingly. It can control a mobile robot in-house or online to automatically execute the complete experimental process on 14 workstations, including synthesis, characterization and performance tests. The experimental data can be simultaneously analysed by the computational brain of the AI-Chemist through machine learning and Bayesian optimization, allowing a new hypothesis for the next iteration to be proposed. The competence of the AI-Chemist has been scrutinized by three different chemical tasks. In the future, the more advanced all-round AI-Chemists equipped with scientific data intelligence may cause changes to the landscape of the chemical laboratory. | Qing Zhu Fei Zhang Yan Huang Hengyu Xiao LuYuan Zhao XuChun Zhang Tao Song XinSheng Tang Xiang Li Guo He BaoChen Chong JunYi Zhou YiHan Zhang Baicheng Zhang JiaQi Cao Man Luo Song Wang GuiLin Ye WanJun Zhang Xin Chen Shuang Cong Donglai Zhou Huirong Li Jialei Li Gang Zou WeiWei Shang Jun Jiang Yi Luo | 2022 | National Science Review2022,9,10: | 5
Networking retinomorphic sensor with memristive crossbar for brain-inspired visual perception显示文摘Compared to human vision, conventional machine vision composed of an image sensor and processor suffers from high latency and large power consumption due to physically separated image sensing and processing.A neuromorphic vision system with brain-inspired visual perception provides a promising solution to the problem. Here we propose and demonstrate a prototype neuromorphic vision system by networking a retinomorphic sensor with a memristive crossbar. We fabricate the retinomorphic sensor by using WSe_(2)/h-BN/Al_(2)O_(3)van der Waals heterostructures with gate-tunable photoresponses,to closely mimic the human retinal capabilities in simultaneously sensing and processing images. We then network the sensor with a large-scale Pt/Ta/Hf O_(2)/Ta one-transistor-one-resistor(1 T1 R)memristive crossbar, which plays a similar role to the visual cortex in the human brain. The realized neuromorphic vision system allows for fast letter recognition and object tracking, indicating the capabilities of image sensing, processing and recognition in the full analog regime. Our work suggests that such a neuromorphic vision system may open up unprecedented opportunities in future visual perception applications. | Shuang Wang Chen-Yu Wang Pengfei Wang Cong Wang Zhu-An Li Chen Pan Yitong Dai Anyuan Gao Chuan Liu Jian Liu Huafeng Yang Xiaowei Liu Bin Cheng Kunji Chen Zhenlin Wang Kenji Watanabe Takashi Taniguchi Shi-Jun Liang Feng Miao | 2021 | National Science Review2021,8,2: | 5
Volumetric Changes in Hippocampal Subregions and Memory Performance in Mesial Temporal Lobe Epilepsy with Hippocampal Sclerosis显示文摘In the present study we explored the different patterns of volumetric atrophy in hippocampal subregions of patients with left and right mesial temporal lobe epilepsy with hippocampal sclerosis(TLE-HS). Meanwhile, the memory impairment patterns in Chinese-speaking TLE-HS patients and potential influencing factors were also determined. TLE-HS patients(21 left and 17 right) and 21 healthy controls were recruited to complete T2-weighted imaging and verbal/nonverbal memory assessment. The results showed that both left and right TLE-HS patients had overall reduced hippocampal subregion volumes on the sclerotic side, and cornu ammonis sectors(CA1) exhibited maximum atrophy. The verbal memory of left TLE-HS patients was significantly impaired(P \ 0.001) and was not associated with the volumes of the left hippocampal subregions. Verbal or nonverbal memory impairment was not found in the patients with right TLE-HS. These results suggested that the atrophy of hippocampal subregion volumes cannot account for the verbal memory impairment, which might be related to the functional network. | Caihong Ji Lujia Zhu Cong Chen Shuang Wang Leilei Zheng Hong Li | 2018 | Neuroscience Bulletin2018,34,2: | 4
TRAJECTORY TRACKING THEORY OF QUANTUM SYSTEMS显示文摘The orbit tracking problem of a free-evolutionary target system in closed quantum systems is solved by changing it into the state transferring problem with the help of unitary transformation. The control law designed by the Lyapunov stability theorem employs a carefully constructed virtual mechanical quantity P to ensure the system convergence. The virtual mechanical quantity P is chosen by two approaches according to the forms of limit set, where P = —pf is suitable for regular limit set and a new different P is constructed for irregular one.The proposed tracking control theory is demonstrated on a four-level quantum system by means of numerical simulation experiments. | CONG Shuang LIU Jianxiu | 2014 | Journal of Systems Science & Complexity2014,27,4: | 3
A particle-linkage model for non-axisymmetric elongated asteroids显示文摘This paper investigates a simplified model for describing the gravitational fields of nonaxisymmetric elongated asteroids. The connection between the simplified model and the target asteroid is built by considering the positions of equilibrium points. To improve the performance of position matching for the equilibrium points associated with these non-axisymmetric asteroids, a nonaxisymmetric triple-particle-linkage model is proposed based on two existing axisymmetric particlelinkage models. The unknown parameters of the simplified model are determined by minimizing the matching error using the nonlinear optimization method. The proposed simplified model is applied for three realistic elongated asteroids, 243 Ida, 433 Eros and(8567) 1996 HW1. The simulation results verify that the current particle-linkage model has better matching accuracy than the two existing particle-linkage models. The comparison, between the simplified model and the polyhedral model, on the topological cases of the equilibrium points and the distribution of gravitational potential further validate the rationality and accuracy of the simplified model. | Hong-Wei Yang Shuang Li Cong Xu | 2018 | Research in Astronomy and Astrophysics2018,18,7: | 3
Seg-CapNet:A Capsule-Based Neural Network for the Segmentation of Left Ventricle from Cardiac Magnetic Resonance Imaging显示文摘Deep neural networks(DNNs)have been extensively studied in medical image segmentation. However, existing DNNs often need to train shape models for each object to be segmented, which may yield results that violate cardiac anatomical structure when segmenting cardiac magnetic resonance imaging(MRI).In this paper,we propose a capsulebased neural network, named Seg-CapNet,to model multiple regions simultaneously within a single training process. The Seg-CapNet model consists of the encoder and the decoder. The encoder transforms the input image into feature vectors that represent objects to be segmented by convolutional layers, capsule layers, and fully-connected layers. And the decoder transforms the feature vectors into segmentation masks by up-sampling.Feature maps of each down-sampling layer in the encoder are connected to the corresponding up-sampling layers, which are conducive to the backpropagation of the model. The output vectors of Seg-CapNet contain low-level image features such as grayscale and texture,as well as semantic features including the position and size of the objects, which is beneficial for improving the segmentation accuracy. The proposed model is validated on the open dataset of the Automated Cardiac Diagnosis Challenge 2017(ACDC 2017)and the Sunnybrook Cardiac Magnetic Resonance Imaging(MRI)segmentation challenge.Experimental results show that the mean Dice coefficient of Seg-CapNet is increased by 4.7%and the average Hausdorff distance is reduced by 22%.The proposed model also reduces the model parameters and improves the training speed while obtaining the accurate segmentation of multiple regions. | Yang-Jie Cao Shuang Wu Chang Liu Nan Lin Yuan Wang Cong Yang Jie Li | 2021 | Journal of Computer Science & Technology2021,36,2: | 3
Sterilization and disinfection methods for decellularized matrix materials:Review, consideration and proposal显示文摘Sterilization is the process of killing all microorganisms, while disinfection is the process of killing or removing all kinds of pathogenic microorganisms except bacterial spores.Biomaterials involved in cell experiments, animal experiments, and clinical applications need to be in the aseptic state, but their physical and chemical properties as well as biological activities can be affected by sterilization or disinfection.Decellularized matrix(dECM)is the low immunogenicity material obtained by removing cells from tissues, which retains many inherent components in tissues such as proteins and proteoglycans. But there are few studies concerning the effects of sterilization or disinfection on dECM,and the systematic introduction of sterilization or disinfection for dECM is even less. Therefore, this review systematically introduces and analyzes the mechanism, advantages, disadvantages, and applications of various sterilization and disinfection methods, discusses the factors influencing the selection of sterilization and disinfection methods, summarizes the sterilization and disinfection methods for various common dECM,and finally proposes a graphical route for selecting an appropriate sterilization or disinfection method for dECM and a technical route for validating the selected method,so as to provide the reference and basis for choosing more appropriate sterilization or disinfection methods of various dECM. | Meihan Tao Tianrang Ao Xiaoyan Mao Xinzhu Yan Rabia Javed Weijian Hou Yang Wang Cong Sun Shuang Lin Tianhao Yu Qiang Ao | 2021 | Bioactive Materials2021,6,9: | 2

On-line quantum state estimation using continuous weak measurement and compressed sensing显示文摘Dear editor,Quantum state estimation(QSE)is the most important work in quantum information processing and quantum feedback control, which is usually formulated by means of strong measurements of an informationally complete set of measurement operators and corresponding observables. However, strong measurements collapse the original quantum state, the ensemble must be reprepared, and the measurement apparatus has to be reconfigured at each step.Weak measurements(WM)[1]offer an alternative in acquiring quantum measurements and estimating quantum states. In the measuring process,by using continuous weak measurements(CWM)it is possible to gain the target state information without disturbing it substantially, and the value recovered in CWM can be obtained by computing the ensemble averaging.Compressed sensing(CS)[2]has been brought into the quantum domain in the context of reducing the number of measurements required for QSE[3,4].However,whether a unified efficient scheme for on-line quantum state estimation using CWM and partial measurements is feasible, remains unknown. | Shuang CONG Yaru TANG Sajede HARRAZ Kezhi LI Jingbei YANG | 2021 | Science China(Information Sciences)2021,64,8: | 2
Preparation of Hadamard Gate for Open Quantum Systems by the Lyapunov Control Method显示文摘In this paper, the control laws based on the Lyapunov stability theorem are designed for a two-level open quantum system to prepare the Hadamard gate, which is an important basic gate for the quantum computers. First, the density matrix interested in quantum system is transferred to vector formation. Then, in order to obtain a controller with higher accuracy and faster convergence rate, a Lyapunov function based on the matrix logarithm function is designed. After that, a procedure for the controller design is derived based on the Lyapunov stability theorem. Finally, the numerical simulation experiments for an amplitude damping Markovian open quantum system are performed to prepare the desired quantum gate. The simulation results show that the preparation of Hadamard gate based on the proposed control laws can achieve the fidelity up to 0.9985 for the different coupling strengths. | Nourallah Ghaeminezhad Shuang Cong | 2018 | IEEE/CAA Journal of Automatica Sinica2018,5,3: | 2
DTHMM based delay modeling and prediction for networked control systems显示文摘In the forward channel of a networked control system (NCS), by defining the network states as a hidden Markov chain and quantizing the network-induced delays to a discrete sequence distributing over a finite time interval, the relation between the network states and the network-induced delays is modelled as a discrete-time hidden Markov model (DTHMM). The expectation maximization (EM) algorithm is introduced to derive the maximumlikelihood estimation (MLE) of the parameters of the DTHMM. Based on the derived DTHMM, the Viterbi algorithm is introduced to predict the controller-to-actuator (C-A) delay during the current sampling period. | 18 | Activation of medial septum cholinergic neurons restores cognitive function in temporal lobe epilepsy显示文摘Cognitive impairment is the most common complication in patients with temporal lobe epilepsy with hippocampal scle rosis. There is no effective treatment for cognitive impairment.Medial septum cholinergic neurons have been reported to be a potential target for controlling epileptic seizures in tempo ral lobe epile psy. However, their role in the cognitive impairment of temporal lobe epilepsy remains unclear. In this study,we found that patients with temporal lobe epile psy with hippocampal sclerosis had a low memory quotient and severe impairment in verbal memory, but had no impairment in nonverbal memory. The cognitive impairment was slightly correlated with reduced medial septum volume and medial septum-hippocampus tra cts measured by diffusion tensor imaging. In a mouse model of chronic temporal lobe epilepsy induced by kainic acid, the number of medial septum choline rgic neurons was reduced and acetylcholine release was reduced in the hippocampus.Furthermore, selective apoptosis of medial septum cholinergic neurons mimicked the cognitive deficits in epileptic mice, and activation of medial septum cholinergic neurons enhanced hippocampal acetylcholine release and restored cognitive function in both kainic acid-and kindling-induced epile psy models. These res ults suggest that activation of medial septum cholinergic neurons reduces cognitive deficits in temporal lobe epilepsy by increasing acetylcholine release via projections to the hippocampus. | Junzi Chen Yu Wang Cong Chen Qingyang Zhang Shuang Wang Yi Wang Jiajia Fang Ying Wang | 2023 | Neural Regeneration Research2023,18,11: | 1

| 20 | Optimal Noise Suppression of Phase Damping Quantum Systems via Weak Measurement显示文摘One qubit subjected to the effect of phase damping in a two-level quantum system with arbitrary pure initial state is studied in this paper. The aim of this paper is to find the optimal control scheme to correct the qubit back as close as possible to its initial state. The strength-dependent measurements and control correction rotation in different bases are designed to protect the arbitrary pure state of qubit. The authors design the optimal weak measurement strength to achieve the best trade-off between gaining the information of the system and the disturbance through measurement. The authors study the suppression of phase damping in two cases: There is and isn’t the y component in initial state. The authors deduce the optimal parameters and performances of the control schemes for the various initial state situations.
