1A Chromosome-Level Genome Assembly of Garlic (Allium sativum) Provides Insights into Genome Evolution and Allicin Biosynthesis显示文摘Garlic,an economically important vegetable,spice,and medicinal crop,produces highly enlarged bulbs and unique organosulfur compounds.Here,we report a chromosome-level genome assembly for garlic,with a total size of approximately 16.24 Gb,as well as the annotation of 57561 predicted protein-coding genes,making garlic the first Allium species with a sequenced genome.Analysis of this garlic genome assembly reveals a recent burst of transposable elements,explaining the substantial expansion of the garlic genome.We examined the evolution of certain genes associated with the biosynthesis of allicin and inulin neoseries-type fructans,and provided new insights into the biosynthesis of these two compounds.Furthermore,a large-scale transcriptome was produced to characterize the expression patterns of garlic genes in different tissues and at various growth stages of enlarged bulbs.The reference genome and large-scale transcriptome data generated in this study provide valuable new resources for research on garlic biology and breeding.Xiudong Sun Siyuan Zhu Ningyang Li Yi Cheng Jing Zhao Xuguang Qiao Li Lu Shiqi Liu Yanzhou Wang Chan Liu Benping Li Wu Guo Shuang Gao Zemao Yang Fu Li Zheng Zeng Qing Tang Yupeng Pan Mengjiao Guan Jian Zhao Xiaomi ng Lu Huanwe n Meng Zhenlin Han Chun she ng Gao Wenkai Jiang Xing Zhao Shilin Tian Jianguang Su Zhihui Cheng Touming Liu 2020Molecular Plant2020,13,9:14

3Development of nutritious rice with high zinc/selenium and low cadmium in grains through QTL pyramiding显示文摘Enriching zinc(Zn) and selenium(Se) levels,while reducing cadmium(Cd) concentration in rice grains is of great benefit for human diet and health.Large natural variations in grain Zn, Se, and Cd concentrations in different rice accessions enable Zn/Sebiofortification and Cd-minimization through molecular breeding. Here, we report the development of new elite varieties by pyramiding major quantitative trait loci(QTLs) that significantly contribute to high Zn/Se and low Cd accumulation in grains. A chromosome segment substitution line CSSLGCC7 with the PA64s-derived GCC7 allele in the 93-11 background, exhibited steadily higher Mn and lower Cd concentrations in grains than those of 93-11. This elite chromosome segment substitution line(CSSL) was used as the core breeding material to cross with CSSLs harboring other major QTLs for essential mineral elements, especially CSSLGZC6 for grain Zn concentration and CSSLGSC5 for grain Se concentration. The CSSLGCC7+GZC6 and CSSLGCC7+GSC5 exhibited lower Cd concentration with higher Zn and Se concentrations in grains, respectively. 4NMRCloudQ: a quantum cloud experience on a nuclear magnetic resonance quantum computer显示文摘Cloud-based quantum computing is anticipated to be the most useful and reachable form for public users to experience with the power of quantum. As initial attempts, IBM Q has launched influential cloud services on a superconducting quantum processor in 2016, but no other platforms has followed up yet. Here,we report our new cloud quantum computing service – NMRCloud Q(http://gffzz93b8cbf03a7349b1ho6wk5wvqqv6566xu.ffgz.tsg.suse.edu.cn/zh-hans/),where nuclear magnetic resonance, one of the pioneer platforms with mature techniques in experimental quantum computing, plays as the role of implementing computing tasks. Our service provides a comprehensive software environment preconfigured with a list of quantum information processing packages,and aims to be freely accessible to either amateurs that look forward to keeping pace with this quantum era or professionals that are interested in carrying out real quantum computing experiments in person. In our current version, four qubits are already usable with in average 99.10% single-qubit gate fidelity and 97.15% two-qubit fidelity via randomized benchmaking tests. 6Two flexible cationic metal-organic frameworks with remarkable stability for CO_(2)/CH4 separation显示文摘Cationic azole-based metal-organic frameworks(MOFs)with remarkable stability and unique pore environment have aroused great research interests.Meanwhile,flexible MOFs which can undergo pore-structure changes upon exposure to external stimuli are ideal materials for gas separation.However,introducing flexibility into the framework of cationic azole-based MOFs is rarely reported.Herein,we synthesized two stable isomorphic cationic MOFs(M-btz-as,M=Co,Ni)based on a linear azole ligand.After activated at high temperature under vacuum,M-btz-ht(M=Co,Ni)were obtained and both MOFs exhibited flexible features in which Co-btz is more flexible than Ni-btz.Different solvent-mediated activation methods were employed to explore their effects on structural flexibility and produced MOFs with different phases.Continuous phase transformation of Co-btz-e was verified by powder X-ray diffraction.In addition,these MOF phases possessed different gas separation abilities affected by their flexible frameworks,and Co-btz-ht exhibited the highest CO_(2)/CH4 separation ability.Shulin Li Shilin Zeng Yuyang Tian Xiaofei Jing Fuxing Sun Guangshan Zhu 2021Nano Research2021,14,9:1

9Priority-Based Mixed Assembly Supporting Differentiated Service for Optical Burst Switched Networks显示文摘In order to have a better support of differentiated service, we propose Priority-based mixed burst assembly, in which packets of different priorities are assembled in a burst with an assigned proportion, and the priorities are lined in an ascending order in a burst from head to tail. 12Self-similar traffic analysis in optical burst assembly显示文摘This paper investigates the traffic properties before and after assembly at edge node of Ethernet over optical burst switching (OBS) network for the first time. Burst and inter-arrival time distributions are simulated under time-based and length-based assembly schemes. Self-similar traffic Hurst parameter is compared through R/S and V/T plot. Finally three self-similar traffic generating methods are given. Simulation results demonstrate that, multi-source traffic increases self-similar degree, however after assembly, time-based scheme can decrease self-similar degree, and aggregated burst size is close to Gaussian distribution. Length-based method has no effects on the self-similarity of input traffic. 14Quantum state tomography for generic pure states显示文摘We examine the problem of whether a multipartite pure quantum state can be uniquely determined by its reduced density matrices.We show that a generic pure state in three party Hilbert space HA■HB■HC, where dim(HA) = 2 and dim(HB) = dim(HC), can be uniquely determined by its reduced states on subsystems HA■HB and HA■HC. Then, we generalize the conclusion to the case that dim(H_1) > 2. As a corollary, we show that a generic N-qudit pure quantum state is uniquely determined by only two of its[(N+1)/2]-particle reduced density matrices. 16Design of Survivable Routing with and without Wavelength-continuity Constraints in WDM Networks显示文摘The problem of routing logical links (lightpaths) on a physical topology of WDM networks in a way that the logical topology remains connected in the event of single physical link failure is called survivable routing. This paper addresses the survivable routing problem with and without wavelength-continuity constraints by proposing a new Integer Linear Programming (ILP) algorithm, which is based on a simplified necessary and sufficient condition. Numerical results are given and discussed to show that survivable routing solutions of most logical topologies can be found by the algorithm of the authors. Furthermore, comparing with other similar methods, the above algorithm can find out a survivable solution in much shorter time, and it works especially well with sparse-connected logical topologies.
