| 1 | Transplantation of UC-MSCs on collagen scaffold activates follicles in dormant ovaries of POF patients with long history of infertility显示文摘Premature ovarian failure(POF) is a refractory disease for clinical treatment with the goal of restoring fertility. In this study,umbilical cord mesenchymal stem cells on a collagen scaffold(collagen/UC-MSCs) can activate primordial follicles in vitro via phosphorylation of FOXO3 a and FOXO1. Transplantation of collagen/UC-MSCs to the ovaries of POF patients rescued overall ovarian function, evidenced by elevated estradiol concentrations, improved follicular development, and increased number of antral follicles. Successful clinical pregnancy was achieved in women with POF after transplantation of collagen/UC-MSCs or UC-MSCs. | 2 | Numerical simulation for the coupling effect of local atmospheric circulations over the area of Beijing,Tianjin and Hebei Province显示文摘Using the model system MM5.V3 and multi-layer grid nesting technique, we have done a multi-scale numerical simulation over the area of Beijing, Tianjin and Hebei Province to analyze the temperature and wind field there and study its local circulations. The results show a coupling effect of Urban Heat Island Circulation (UHIC), Mountain Valley Breeze (MVB) and Sea Land Breeze (SLB) occurs in this area when the synoptic system is weak. The SLB can penetrate deep into the mainland for about 200 km when it is blooming. MVB can extend to south and cover almost the whole plain area in Beijing. Both MVB and SLB are diurnal periodical; meanwhile the phase of MVB drops behind that of SLB for about six hours. As a local circulation, the UHIC weakens the two circulations above, and it also has a diurnal period. As a result, the coupling effect of circulations reveals not only different features in spring-summer period and autumn-winter period in a year but also the difference between early morn- ing to noonday and afternoon to night in a day. We noted the diffusion of contamination over the area around Beijing, and found the steady presence of a transport routine of contamination over North-China throughout the year caused by the Coupling Effect mentioned above. | 3 | The rice OsV4 encoding a novel pentatricopeptide repeat protein is required for chloroplast development during the early leaf stage under cold stress显示文摘Pentatricopeptide repeat(PPR)proteins,characterized by tandem arrays of a 35 amino acid motif,have been suggested to play central and broad roles in modulating the expression of organelle genes in plants.However,the molecular mechanisms of most rice PPR genes remains unclear.In this paper,we isolated and characterized a temperature-conditional virescent mutant,OsV4,in rice(Oryza sativa cultivar Jiahua1(WT,japonica rice variety)).The mutant displays albino phenotype and abnormal chloroplasts at the three leaf stage,which gradually turns green after the four leaf stage at a low temperature(20°C).But the mutant always develops green leaves and well-developed chloroplasts at a high temperature(32°C).Genetic and molecular analyses uncovered that OsV4 encodes a novel chloroplast-targeted PPR protein including four PPR motifs.Further investigations show that the mutant phenotype is associated with changes in chlorophyll content and chloroplast development.The OsV4transcripts only accumulate to high levels in young leaves,indicating that its expression is tissue-specific.In addition,transcript levels of some ribosomal components and plastid-encoded polymerase-dependent genes are dramatically reduced in the albino mutants grown at 20°C.These findings suggest that OsV4 plays an important role during early chloroplast development under cold stress in rice. | Xiaodi Gong Qianqian Su Dongzhi Lin Quan Jiang Jianlong Xu Jianhui Zhang Sheng Teng Yanjun Dong | 2014 | Journal of Integrative Plant Biology2014,56,4: | 19 |

| 6 | Effect of the electro-acupuncture on senile plaques and its formation in APPD/PS1D double transgenic mice显示文摘Alzheimer’s disease(AD)is a progressive neurodegenerative disease and its incidence will increase with age and is aggravating.The senile plaques(SPs)are one of three main pathological features in AD patients,which are formed by amyloid b-protein(Ab)overaccumulation.b-amyloid precursor protein(APP),b-site APP cleavage(BACE1),and insulin degrading enzyme(IDE)proteins participate in the process of Ab production and degradation.At present,the pathogenesis of AD is not yet clear and the current treatment methods can only relief the related symptoms of AD.The electro-acupuncture(EA)is a traditional Chinese medicine treatment combined the acupuncture and electrical stimulation and the treatment effect can also be controlled by transform the electrical frequency.Thus,in this experiment,we carried out behavioral test,immunohistochemistry(IHC),and Western Blot(WB)after different period treatments to the model mice by electro-acupuncturing“Baihui”and“Shenshu”acupoints in APPt/PS1t double transgenic mice.It was found that the EA therapy can improve the ability of learning,memory and spatial exploration,and reduce the deposition of SPs in brain of AD model mice,and reduce the expressions of APP and BACE1,increase the expression of IDE protein.These results prompt that EA can effectively alleviate the pathological process of AD.We speculate that EA may play a comprehensive role in preventing the development of AD,considering the previous data. | Qinghua Yang Shujuan Zhu Jin Xu Chenglin Tang Kaihui Wu Yanjun Wu Yiying Wang Huajun Sheng | 2019 | Genes & Diseases2019,6,3: | 2 |

| 14 | From the new Austrian tunneling method to the geoengineering condition evaluation and dynamic controlling method显示文摘The new Austrian tunneling method(NATM) is widely applied in design and construction of underground engineering projects. When the type and distribution of unfavorable geological bodies(UGBs)associated with their influences on geoengineering are complicated or unfortunately are overlooked, we should pay more attentions to internal features of rocks grades IV and V(even in local but mostly controlling zones). With increasing attentions to the characteristics, mechanism and influences of engineering construction-triggered geohazards, it is crucial to fully understand the disturbance of these geohazards on project construction. A reasonable determination method in construction procedure, i.e.the shape of working face, the type of engineering support and the choice of feasible procedure, should be considered in order to mitigate the construction-triggered geohazards. Due to their high sensitivity to groundwater and in-situ stress, various UGBs exhibit hysteretic nature and failure modes. To give a complete understanding on the internal causes, the emphasis on advanced comprehensive geological forecasting and overall reinforcement treatment is therefore of more practical significance. Comprehensive evaluation of influential factors, identification of UGB, and measures of discontinuity dynamic controlling comprises the geoengineering condition evaluation and dynamic controlling method. In a case of a cut slope, the variations of UGBs and the impacts of key environmental factors are presented,where more severe construction-triggered geohazards emerged in construction stage than those predicted in design and field investigation stages. | 20 | In-orbit performance of ME onboard Insight-HXMT in the first 5 years显示文摘Introduction The medium-energy X-ray telescope(ME)is a collimated X-ray telescope onboard the Insight hard X-ray modulation telescope(Insight-HXMT)satellite.It has 1728 Si-PIN pixels readout using 54 low noise application-specific integrated circuits(ASICs).ME covers the energy range of 5–30 keV and has a total detection area of 952cm2.The typical energy resolution of ME at the beginning of the mission is 3 keV at 17.8 keV(full width at half maximum,FWHM),and the time resolution is 255μs.In this study,we present the in-orbit performance of ME in its first 5 years of operation.Methods The performance of ME was monitored using onboard radioactive sources and astronomical X-ray objects.ME carries six 241Am radioactive sources for onboard calibration,which can continuously illuminate the calibration pixels.The long-term performance evolution of ME can be quantified using the properties of the accumulated spectra of the calibration pixels.In addition,observations of the Crab Nebula and the pulsar were used to check the long-term evolution of the detection efficiency as a function of energy.Conclusion After 5 years of operation,742cm2 of the Si-PIN pixelswere stillworking normally.The peak positions of 241Am emission lines gradually shifted to the high-energy region,implying a slow increase in ME gain of 1.43%.A comparison of the ME spectra of the Crab Nebula and the pulsar shows that the E–C relations and the redistribution matrix file are still acceptable for most data analysis works,and there is no detectable variation in the detection efficiency. | Ying Tan Xuelei Cao Weichun Jiang Xiaobo Li Bin Meng Wanchang Zhang Sheng Yang Tao Luo Yudong Gu Liang Sun Xiaojing Liu Yuanyuan Du Jiawei Yang Yanjun Xu Jinyuan Liao Yupeng Xu Fangjun Lu Liming Song Shuangnan Zhang | 2023 | Radiation Detection Technology and Methods2023,7,1: | 0 |
