Nonlinear dynamic modeling of a helicopter planetary gear train for carrier plate crack fault diagnosis显示文摘Planetary gear train plays a significant role in a helicopter operation and its health is of great importance for the flight safety of the helicopter. This paper investigates the effects of a planet carrier plate crack on the dynamic characteristics of a planetary gear train, and thus finds an effective method to diagnose crack fault.A dynamic model is developed to analyze the torsional vibration of a planetary gear train with a cracked planet carrier plate. The model takes into consideration nonlinear factors such as the time-varying meshing stiffness, gear backlash and viscous damping.Investigation of the deformation of the cracked carrier plate under static stress is performed in order to simulate the dynamic effects of the planet carrier crack on the angular displacement of carrier posts.Validation shows good accuracy of the developed dynamic model in predicting dynamic characteristics of a planetary gear train.Fault features extracted from predictions of the model reveal the correspondence between vibration characteristic and the conditions(length and position)of a planet carrier crack clearly. | Fan Lei Wang Shaoping Wang Xingjian Han Feng Lyu Huawei | 2016 | Chinese Journal of Aeronautics2016,29,3: | 16
Motion synchronization in a dual redundant HA/EHA system by using a hybrid integrated intelligent control design显示文摘This paper presents an integrated fuzzy controller design approach to synchronize a dissimilar redundant actuation system of a hydraulic actuator(HA) and an electro-hydrostatic actuator(EHA) with system uncertainties and disturbances. The motion synchronous control system consists of a trajectory generator,an individual position controller for each actuator, and a fuzzy force tracking controller(FFTC) for both actuators. The trajectory generator provides the desired motion dynamics and designing parameters of the trajectory which are taken according to the dynamic characteristics of the EHA.The position controller consists of a feed-forward controller and a fuzzy position tracking controller(FPTC) and acts as a decoupled controller, improving position tracking performance with the help of the feed-forward controller and the FPTC.The FFTC acts as a coupled controller and takes into account the inherent coupling effect. The simulation results show that the proposed controller not only eliminates initial force fighting by synchronizing the two actuators, but also improves disturbance rejection performance. | Waheed Ur Rehman Wang Shaoping Wang Xingjian Fan Lei Kamran Ali Shah | 2016 | Chinese Journal of Aeronautics2016,29,3: | 4

Diverse foraging strategies of breeding Swinhoe's Storm-petrel in the productive marginal sea of the Northwest Pacific显示文摘Understanding the foraging behavior is essential for investigating seabird ecology and conservation,as well as monitoring the well-being of the marine environment.Breeding seabirds adopt diverse foraging strategies to maximize energy gains and cope with the intensified challenges of parenting and self-maintenance.Such tradeoff may stem from the heterogeneity of food resources and the constraints of central place foraging.Nevertheless, abundant marine productivity could alleviate the energy limitation for seabirds, resulting in a consistent foraging approach. Here,we investigated the foraging strategy during the breeding season of a cryptic small-sized seabird,Swinhoe’s Storm-petrel(Hydrobates monorhis),in the Yellow Sea,a productive marginal sea of the Northwest Pacific.Using GPS tracking,we evaluated habitat preference, quantified the foraging strategy, and tested if environmental conditions and individual traits influence foraging trips. We found that Swinhoe’s Storm-petrels preferred nearshore areas with shallow water and engaged in primarily short foraging trips.Distinctive southeastward and southwestward strategies emerged when combining trip metrics, including foraging direction, duration, and maximum distance. The bathymetry, proximity to the coastline, and sea surface temperature differed in two foraging strategies.Foraging strategies exhibited flexibility between individuals, potentially explained by wing morphology,in which longer-winged birds are more likely to embark on longer-distance foraging trips. These findings highlight the impact of environmental factors and individual traits on seabirds’foraging decisions in productive marginal sea ecosystems. Our study also provides valuable insights into the foraging ecology of this Asian endemic storm-petrel. | Yachang Cheng Lei Zhu Lin Xue Shisheng Ma Nan Jia Shaoping Zang Zhihai Cao Jing Yuan Yang Liu | 2024 | Avian Research2024,15,1: | 0
Loss coefficient of nitrogenous non-point source pollution under various precipitation conditions显示文摘In this study, calibrations of non-point source(NPS)pollution models are performed based on Black River basin historical real-time runoff data, sedimentation record data, and NPS sources survey information. The concept of NPS loss coefficient for the watershed or the loss coefficients(LC)for simplicity is brought up by examining NPS build-up and migration processes along riverbanks in natural river systems. The historical data is used for determining the nitrogenous NPS loss coefficient for five land use types including farmland, urban land, grassland, shrub land, and forest under different precipitation conditions. The comparison of outputs from Soil and Water Assessment Tool(SWAT)model and coefficient export method showed that both methods could obtain reasonable LC.The high Pearson correlation coefficient(0.94722)between those two sets of calculation results justified the consistency of those two models.Another result in the study is that different combinations of precipitation condition and land use types could significantly affect the calculated loss coefficient. As for the adsorptive nitrogen, the order of impact on LC for different land use types can be sorted as:farm land.urban land.grassland.shrub land.forest while the order was farmland.grass land.shrub land.forest.urban land for soluble nitrogen. | Hongguang CHENG Fanghua HAO Xiyan REN Shengtian YANG Wen XIONG Shaoping LEI | 2008 | Frontiers of Environmental Science & Engineering2008,2,2: | 0
Effects of Storage and Preservation of Postharvest Gonggan Mandarin(Citrus reticulata)Fruit Immersion in Salicylic Acid Combined with Calcium Chloride显示文摘[Objectives]To investigate the effects and mechanism of fruit immersion treatment with salicylic acid(SA),calcium chloride(CaCl_(2))solutions at different concentrations or their combinations on post-harvest preservation of Gonggan Mandarin(Citrus reticulata)fruit.[Methods]13 experiments(2 storage temperatures,3 control treatments,3 concentrations of SA solution,4 concentrations of CaCl_(2) solution and 3 combinations of SA+CaCl_(2) solution for fruit immersion treatment)were conducted for 90 d.Gonggan fruit weight loss rate, rotting rate, disease index, disease type, soluble solids and organic acids content, and the differences in the activity of six enzymes(APX,PPO,CHI,CAT,SOD,PAL)related to fruit disease resistance were detected regularly.[Results]With the increase of storage days, the weight loss rate, rotting rate and disease index increased, the content of soluble solids and organic acids decreased, the activity of APX,PPO,CHI and SOD increased, and the activity of CAT and PAL decreased. However, the increase or decrease of fruit loss at low temperature was the smallest, and the increase or decrease of fruit at natural room temperature was the largest.Gonggan fruit cleaning before storage is an effective preservation and fresh-keeping technology, but its preservation and fresh-keeping effect is far less than that of fruit immersion by SA,CaCl_(2) and SA+CaCl_(2) compound solution. The effect of fruit immersion by SA solution was greater than that of fruit immersion by CaCl_(2) solution;the best concentration of SA alone was 6.0 mmol/L,which was not significantly different from 3.0 mmol/L,but the effect of 9.0 mmol/L decreased;the best concentration of CaCl_(2) alone was 6.0 mmol/L,which was significantly better than 3.0 and 9.0 mmol/L;the optimal concentration combination of SA+CaCl_(2) compound solution for fruit immersion treatment was 6.0 mmol/L SA+3.0 mmol/L CaCl_(2).[Conclusions]The fruit immersion by SA,CaCl_(2) and their compound solutions induced the increase of activity of six enzymes related to disease resistance in Gonggan fruit, and PPO and CHI were judged to be two key enzymes based on response intensity. | Shaoping ZHANG Chengxiang XU Yuchan PENG Hanguang WANG Ying LEI Huifeng GU | 2022 | Asian Agricultural Research2022,14,8: | 0
