| 2 | Pro?ling and Validation of the Circular RNA Repertoire in Adult Murine Hearts显示文摘For several decades, cardiovascular disease has been the leading cause of death throughout all countries. There is a strong genetic component to many disease subtypes(e.g., cardiomyopathy) and we are just beginning to understand the relevant genetic factors. Several studies have related RNA splicing to cardiovascular disease and circular RNAs(circ RNAs) are an emerging player. circ RNAs, which originate through back-splicing events from primary transcripts, are resistant to exonucleases and typically not polyadenylated. Initial functional studies show clear phenotypic outcomes for selected circ RNAs. We provide, for the ?rst time, a comprehensive catalogue of RNase R-resistant circ RNA species for the adult murine heart. This work combines state-of-the-art circle sequencing with our novel DCC software to explore the circ RNA landscape of heart tissue.Overall, we identi?ed 575 circ RNA species that pass a beta-binomial test for enrichment(false discovery rate of 1%) in the exonuclease-treated sequencing sample. Several circ RNAs can be directly attributed to host genes that have been previously described as associated with cardiovascular disease. Further studies of these candidate circ RNAs may reveal disease-relevant properties or functions of speci?c circ RNAs. | Tobias Jakobi Lisa F. | 3 | 社区居住脊髓损伤患者生活质量现状及其影响因素分析显示文摘目的了解在社区居住的脊髓损伤患者生活质量现状及影响因素。方法采用多阶段分层整群随机抽样,对四川省和江苏省30家医院的1 355名脊髓损伤并已回到社区生活的患者进行问卷调查;使用多重线性回归对生活质量的影响因素进行分析并探讨社会偏见的调节作用。结果生活质量总分为(15.99±3.09);损伤类型(β=-0.51,P<0.01)、损伤等级(β=-1.00,P<0.001)、社会偏见(β=-0.48,P<0.001)、地区(β=1.16,P<0.001)、家庭收入(β=0.23,P<0.001)影响生活质量;社会偏见在损伤类型和生活质量之间,在损伤等级和生活质量之间均起负向调节作用。结论社区居住脊髓损伤患者的生活质量不容乐观,相关人员应加强对脊髓损伤患者的社区康复,减少社会偏见,改善患者的生活质量。 | 李旭丹 Reinhardt J D 龚泽鹏 周忠杰 | 2020 | 现代预防医学2020,47,8: | 7 |

| 13 | A Cambrian micro-lobopodian and the evolution of arthropod locomotion and reproduction显示文摘The evolutionary success of arthropods, the most abundant and diverse animal group, is mainly based on their segmented body and jointed appendages, features that had evolved most likely already before the Cambrian. The first arthropod-like animals, the lobopodians from the Early Cambrian, were unsclerotized and worm-like, and they had unjointed tubular legs. Here we describe the first three-dimensionally preserved Cambrian lobopodian. The material presented of Orstenotubulus evamuellerae gen. et sp. nov. is the smallest and youngest of a lobopodian known. O. evamuellerae shows strikingly detailed similarities to Recent tardigrades and/or onychophorans in its cellular-structured cuticle and the telescopic spines. It also shows similarities to other, longer known lobopodians, but which are ten times as large as the new form. These similarities include the finely annulated body and legs, which is characteristic also for Recent onychophorans, and paired humps continuing into spines situated dorsally to the leg insertions, a feature lacking in the extant forms. The morphology of O. evamuellerae not only elucidates our knowledge about lobopodians, but also aids in a clearer picture of the early evolution of arthropods. An example is the single ventral gonopore between a limb pair of O. evamuellerae, which indicates that a single gonopore, as developed in onychophorans, tardigrades, pentastomids, myriapods and insects, might represent the plesiomorphic state for Arthropoda, while the paired state in chelicerates and crustaceans was convergently achieved. Concerning life habits, the lateral orientation of the limbs and their anchoring spines of the new lobopodian imply that early arthropods were crawlers rather than walkers. | Andreas Maas Georg Mayer Reinhardt M.
