Molybdenum disulfide-graphene van der Waals heterostructures as stable and sensitive electrochemical sensing platforms显示文摘Atomic layers are sought after for molecular sensing due to their available high surface interaction area, and different types of monolayers are attempted for sensing in the recent past. However, their chemical stability towards these molecules is questioned in recent times and alternate methods need to be developed to circumvent such issues, while maintaining high sensitivity. Here, the van der Waals(vdWs)stacks of molybdenum disulfide(MoS_(2))and graphene are shown for their stable electrochemical sensing towards ascorbic acid(AA)and dopamine(DA)-two important biomolecules.AA is known to chemically react with MoS_(2) leading to unstable sensing platform, while here the graphene coverage is shown to protect the MoS_(2) even from low-energy plasma exposure while keeping the same high sensitivity.Upon proving the graphene-based protection of the sensor, such a sensing platform is shown for its applicability in DA sensing, where it is found to give a linear response in a wide range of concentrations(2.5 to 600μmol·L^(−1))and even selective sensing in the presence of AA.Such a stack is found to be not merely giving protection to the beneath MoS_(2) layer but also the inter-layer charge transfer due to work function differences being beneficial in bringing fast and high sensitivity to the next-generation sensors and point-of-care devices. | Stelbin Peter Figerez Kiran Kumar Tadi Krishna Rani Sahoo Rahul Sharma Ravi K.Biroju Aleena Gigi KAiswarya Anand Golap Kalita Tharangattu N.Narayanan | 2020 | Tungsten2020,2,4: | 1

Resource potential and planning for exploration of the Hebrus Valles, Mars显示文摘Mars is the only extraterrestrial body which could host primitive lifeforms and also has the potential to host a human base in the near future. Towards fulfilling these objectives, several remote sensing missions and rover based missions have been sent to Mars. Still, confirmation of existing or extinct life on this planet in any form has not been achieved and possibly human missions at selected sites in the future are the key to addressing this problem. Here, we have used remote sensing data from Mars Reconnaissance Orbiter(MRO;NASA), Mars Global Surveyor(MGS;NASA), Mars Odyssey(NASA) and Mars Express(MEX;ESA) to devise an exploration strategy for one such area known as Hebrus Valles, which is a potential site for human exploration of the surface of Mars. A geological context map of the Hebrus Valles and Hephaestus Fossae region has been prepared and a candidate landing site has been proposed in the Hebrus Valles region. Suitable rover paths have been worked out from the proposed landing site for harnessing the science and resource potential of the region. The proposed landing site is located in the equatorial region at(20?40′N, 126?23′E) and due to its proximity to the Potential Subsurface Access Candidates(PSACs) in the region, such as sinkholes and skylights and also other resources such as crater ejecta, silicate material and fluvial channels, the site is appropriate for exploration of the region. | Ravi Sharma Neeraj Srivastava Santosh Kumar Yadav | 2019 | Research in Astronomy and Astrophysics2019,19,8: | 0
GRADE: Deep learning and garlic routing-based secure data sharing framework for IIoT beyond 5G显示文摘The rise of automation with Machine-Type Communication(MTC)holds great potential in developing Industrial Internet of Things(IIoT)-based applications such as smart cities,Intelligent Transportation Systems(ITS),supply chains, and smart industries without any human intervention. However,MTC has to cope with significant security challenges due to heterogeneous data, public network connectivity, and inadequate security mechanism. To overcome the aforementioned issues,we have proposed a blockchain and garlic-routing-based secure data exchange framework,i.e.,GRADE,which alleviates the security constraints and maintains the stable connection in MTC.First, the Long-Short-Term Memory(LSTM)-based Nadam optimizer efficiently predicts the class label,i.e.,malicious and non-malicious,and forwards the non-malicious data requests of MTC to the Garlic Routing(GR)network. The GR network assigns a unique ElGamal encrypted session tag to each machine partaking in MTC.Then,an Advanced Encryption Standard(AES)is applied to encrypt the MTC data requests.Further, the InterPlanetary File System(IPFS)-based blockchain is employed to store the machine's session tags, which increases the scalability of the proposed GRADE framework.Additionally, the proposed framework has utilized the indispensable benefits of the 6G network to enhance the network performance of MTC.Lastly, the proposed GRADE framework is evaluated against different performance metrics such as scalability, packet loss, accuracy, and compromised rate of the MTC data request. The results show that the GRADE framework outperforms the baseline methods in terms of accuracy,i.e.,98.9%,compromised rate,i.e.,18.5%,scalability,i.e.,47.2%,and packet loss ratio,i.e.,24.3%. | Nilesh Kumar Jadav Riya Kakkar Harsh Mankodiya Rajesh Gupta Sudeep Tanwar Smita Agrawal Ravi Sharma | 2023 | Digital Communications and Networks2023,9,2: | 0

Spatial distribution of fossil fuel derived CO_(2) over India using radiocarbon measurements in crop plants显示文摘Examining the contribution of fossil fuel CO_(2) to the total CO_(2) changes in the atmosphere is of primary concern due to its alarming levels of fossil fuel emissions over the globe, specifically developing countries.Atmospheric radiocarbon represents an important observational constraint and utilized to trace fossil fuel derived CO_(2)(CO_(2ff))in the atmosphere. For the first time,we have presented a detailed analysis on the spatial distribution of fossil fuel derived CO_(2)(CO_(2ff))over India using radiocarbon(Δ14C)measurements during three-year period.Analysis shows that theΔ14C values are varying between 29.33‰ to-34.06‰ across India in the year 2017,where highest value belongs to a location from Gujarat while lowest value belongs to a location from Chhattisgarh.Based on the14C patterns, spatial distributions of CO_(2ff) mole fractions have been determined over India and the calculated values of CO_(2ff) mole fractions are varying between 4.85 ppm to 26.59 ppm across India. It is also noticed that the highest CO_(2ff) mole fraction is observed as 26.59 ppm from a site in Chhattisgarh.CO_(2ff) mole fraction values from four high altitude sites are found to be varied between 4.85 ppm to 14.87 ppm.Effect of sampling different crop plants from the same growing season and different crop plant organs(grains, leaves, stems)on theΔ14C and CO_(2ff) have been studied.Annual and intra seasonal variations in theΔ14C and CO_(2ff) mole fractions have also been analyzed from a rural location(Dholpur,Rajasthan). | Rajveer Sharma Ravi Kumar Kunchala Sunil Ojha Pankaj Kumar Satinath Gargari Sundeep Chopra | 2023 | Journal of Environmental Sciences2023,,2: | 0
Software Reliability Assessment Using Hybrid Neuro-Fuzzy Model显示文摘Software reliability is the primary concern of software developmentorganizations, and the exponentially increasing demand for reliable softwarerequires modeling techniques to be developed in the present era. Small unnoticeable drifts in the software can culminate into a disaster. Early removal of theseerrors helps the organization improve and enhance the software’s reliability andsave money, time, and effort. Many soft computing techniques are available toget solutions for critical problems but selecting the appropriate technique is abig challenge. This paper proposed an efficient algorithm that can be used forthe prediction of software reliability. The proposed algorithm is implementedusing a hybrid approach named Neuro-Fuzzy Inference System and has also beenapplied to test data. In this work, a comparison among different techniques of softcomputing has been performed. After testing and training the real time data withthe reliability prediction in terms of mean relative error and mean absolute relativeerror as 0.0060 and 0.0121, respectively, the claim has been verified. The resultsclaim that the proposed algorithm predicts attractive outcomes in terms of meanabsolute relative error plus mean relative error compared to the other existingmodels that justify the reliability prediction of the proposed model. Thus, thisnovel technique intends to make this model as simple as possible to improvethe software reliability. | Parul Gandhi Mohammad Zubair Khan Ravi Kumar Sharma Omar H.Alhazmi Surbhi Bhatia Chinmay Chakraborty | 2022 | Computer Systems Science & Engineering2022,41,6: | 0
