1Electron-withdrawing functional ligand promotes CO2 reduction catalysis in single atom catalyst显示文摘Electrochemical carbon dioxide reduction reaction (CO2RR) powered by renewable electricity offers an attractive approach to reduce carbon emission and at the same time produce valuable chemicals/fuels.To design efficient CO2 reduction electrocatalyst,it is important to understand the structure-activity relationship.Herein,we design a series of single Co atoms electrocatalysts with well-defined active sites electronic structures,which exhibit outstanding CO2RR activity with controllable selectivity to CO.Experimental and density functional theory (DFT) calculation studies show that introducing nitro (amino) ligand next to single Co atom catalytic center with electron-withdrawing (electron-donating) capability favors (hinders) CO2 reduction catalysis.This work provides an in-depth understanding of how functional ligand affects the splitting of transition metal 3d electron orbital,thereby changing the electron transfer from transition metal active site to CO2,which is closely related to the Gibbs free energy of the rate-determining step (CO2+e^-+*→*CO2^-).Xinyi Ren Song Liu Huicong Li Jie Ding Linghui Liu Zhichong Kuang Ling Li Hongbin Yang Fuquan Bai Yanqiang Huang Tao Zhang Bin Liu 2020Science China Chemistry2020,63,12:3
2Is Minimizing Flow Completion Time the Optimal Way in Meeting Flow's Deadline in Datacenter Networks显示文摘In modern datacenters, the most common method to solve the network latency problem is to minimize flow completion time during the transmission process. Following the soft real-time nature, the optimization of transport latency is relaxed to meet a flow's deadline in deadline-sensitive services. However, none of existing deadline-sensitive protocols consider deadline as a constraint condition of transmission.They can only simplify the objective of meeting a flow's deadline as a deadline-aware mechanism by assigning a higher priority for tight-deadline constrained flows to finish the transmission as soon as possible, which results in an unsatisfactory effect in the condition of high fan-in degree. It drives us to take a step back and rethink whether minimizing flow completion time is the optimal way in meeting flow's deadline. In this paper, we focus on the design of a soft real-time transport protocol with deadline constraint in datacenters and present a flow-based deadline scheduling scheme for datacenter networks(FBDS).FBDS makes the unilateral deadline-aware flow transmission with priority transform into a compound centralized single-machine deadlinebased flow scheduling decision. In addition, FBDS blocks the flow sets and postpones some flows with extra time until their deadlines to make room for the new arriving flows in order to improve the deadline meeting rate. 4Finding Deceptive Opinion Spam by Correcting the Mislabeled Instances显示文摘Assessing the trustworthiness of reviews is a key in natural language processing and computational linguistics. Previous work mainly focuses on some heuristic strategies or simple supervised learning methods, which limit the performance of this task. This paper presents a new approach, from the viewpoint of correcting the mislabeled instances, to find deceptive opinion spam. Partition a dataset into several subsets, construct a classifier set for each subset and select the best one to evaluate the whole dataset. Error variables are defined to compute the probability that the instances have been mislabeled. The mislabeled instances are corrected based on two threshold schemes, ma jority and non-objection. 6Early changes to the extracellular space in the hippocampus under simulated microgravity conditions显示文摘The smooth transportation of substances through the brain extracellular space(ECS)is crucial to maintaining brain function;however,the way this occurs under simulated microgravity remains unclear.In this study,tracer-based magnetic resonance imaging(MRI)and DECS-mapping techniques were used to image the drainage of brain interstitial fluid(ISF)from the ECS of the hippocampus in a tail-suspended hindlimb-unloading rat model at day 3(HU-3)and 7(HU-7).The results indicated that drainage of the ISF was accelerated in the HU-3 group but slowed markedly in the HU-7 group.The tortuosity of the ECS decreased in the HU-3 group but increased in the HU-7 group,while the volume fraction of the ECS increased in both groups.The diffusion rate within the ECS increased in the HU-3 group and decreased in the HU-7 group.The alterations to ISF drainage and diffusion in the ECS were recoverable in the HU-3 group,but neither parameter was restored in the HU-7 group.Our findings suggest that early changes to the hippocampal ECS and ISF drainage under simulated microgravity can be detected by tracer-based MRI,providing a new perspective for studying microgravity-induced nano-scale structure abnormities and developing neuroprotective approaches involving the brain ECS.Yajuan Gao Hongbin Han Jichen Du Qingyuan He Yanxing Jia Junhao Yan Hui Dai Bin Cui Jing Yang Xunbin Wei Liu Yang Rui Wang Ren Long Qiushi Ren Xing Yang Jiabin Lu 2022Science China(Life Sciences)2022,65,3:2

9Constructions for almost perfect binary sequence pairs with even length显示文摘The concept of the binary sequence pair is generalized from a single binary sequence. Binary sequence pairs are applied in many fields of radar, sonar or communication systems, in which signals with optimal periodic correlation are required. Several types of almost perfect binary sequence pairs of length T = 2q are constructed, where q is an odd number. These almost perfect binary sequence pairs are based on binary ideal sequence or binary ideal two-level correlation sequence pairs by using Chinese remainder theorem.
