1A review of the most recent progresses of state-of-art gallium oxide power devices显示文摘Until very recently, gallium oxide(Ga_2O_3) has aroused more and more interests in the area of power electronics due to its ultra-wide bandgap of 4.5–4.8 eV, estimated critical field of 8 MV/cm and decent intrinsic electron mobility limit of250 cm2/(V·s), yielding a high Baliga's figures-of-merit(FOM) of more than 3000, which is several times higher than GaN and SiC.In addition to its excellent material properties, potential low-cost and large size substrate through melt-grown methodology also endows β-Ga_2O_3 more potential for future low-cost power devices. This article focuses on reviewing the most recent advances ofβ-Ga_2O_3 based power devices. It will be starting with a brief introduction to the material properties of β-Ga_2O_3 and then the growth techniques of its native substrate, followed by the thin film epitaxial growth. The performance of state-of-art β-Ga_2O_3 devices, including diodes and FETs are fully discussed and compared. 2Hydrogen production from coke oven gas over LiNi/γ-Al_2O_3 catalyst modified by rare earth metal oxide in a membrane reactor显示文摘The performance of LiNi/γ-Al2O3 catalysts modified by rare earth metal oxide(La2O3 or CeO2 ) packed on BCFNO membrane reactor was discussed for the partial oxidation of methane(POM) in coke oven gas(COG) at 875 C. The NiO/γ-Al2O3 catalysts with different amounts of La2O3 and CeO2 were prepared with the same preparation method and under the same condition in order to compare the reaction performance(oxygen permeation,CH 4 conversion,H 2 and CO selectivity) on the membrane reactor. The results show that the oxygen permeation flux increased significantly with LiNiREO x /γ-Al2O3(RE = La or Ce) catalysts by adding the element of rare earth especially the Ce during the POM in COG. Such as,the Li15wt%CeO2 9wt%NiO/γ-Al2O3 catalyst with an oxygen permeation flux of 24.71 ml cm 2 min 1 and a high CH 4 conversion was obtained in 875 C. The resulted high oxygen permeation flux may be due to the added Ce that inhibited the strong interaction between Ni and Al2O3 to form the NiAl2O4 phase. 3Spatial-temporal variations of natural suitability of human settlement environment in the Three Gorges Reservoir Area A case study in Fengjie County,China显示文摘With rapid environmental degeneration and socio-economie development,the human settlement environment (HSE)has experienced dramatic changes and attracted attention from different communities.Consequently,the spatial-temporal evaluation of natural suitability of the human settlement environment (NSHSE)has become essential for understanding the patterns and dynamics of HSE,and for coordinating sustainable development among regional populations,resources,and environments.This study aims to explore the spatialtemporal evolution of NSHSE patterns in 1997,2005,and 2009 in Fengjie County near the Three Gorges Reservoir Area (TGRA).A spatially weighted NSHSE model was established by integrating multi-source data (e.g.,census data,meteorological data,remote sensing images,DEM data,and GIS data)into one framework,where the Ordinary Least Squares (OLS)linear regression model was applied to calculate the weights of indices in the NSHSE model.Results show that the trend of natural suitability has been first downward and then upward, which is evidenced by the disparity of NSHSE existing in the south,north,and central areas of Fengjie County. 4Disaster Risk Science:A Geographical Perspective and a Research Framework显示文摘In this article,we recall the United Nations’30-year journey in disaster risk reduction strategy and framework,review the latest progress and key scientific and technological questions related to the United Nations disaster risk reduction initiatives,and summarize the framework and contents of disaster risk science research.The object of disaster risk science research is the'disaster system'consisting of hazard,the geographical environment,and exposed units,with features of regionality,interconnectedness,coupling,and complexity.Environmental stability,hazard threat,and socioeconomic vulnerability together determine the way that disasters are formed,establish the spatial extent of disaster impact,and generate the scale of losses.In the formation of a disaster,a conducive environment is the prerequisite,a hazard is the necessary condition,and socioeconomic exposure is the sufficient condition.The geographical environment affects local hazard intensity and therefore can change the pattern of loss distribution.Regional multi-hazard,disaster chain,and disaster compound could induce complex impacts,amplifying or attenuating hazard intensity and changing the scope of affected areas.In the light of research progress,particularly in the context of China,we propose a threelayer disaster risk science disciplinary structure,which contains three pillars(disaster science,disaster technology,and disaster governance),nine core areas,and 27 research fields.Based on these elements,we discuss the frontiers in disaster risk science research.Peijun Shi Tao Ye Ying Wang Tao Zhou Wei Xu Juan Du Jing'ai Wang Ning Li Chongfu Huang Lianyou Liu Bo Chen Yun Su Weihua Fang Ming Wang Xiaobin Hu Jidong Wu Chunyang He Qiang Zhang Qian Ye Carlo Jaeger Norio Okada 2020International Journal of Disaster Risk Science2020,11,4:4

6Haptic rendering for dental training system显示文摘Immersion and interaction are two key features of virtual reality systems, which are especially impor- tant for medical applications. Based on the requirement of motor skill training in dental surgery, haptic rendering method based on triangle model is investigated in this paper. Multi-rate haptic rendering architecture is proposed to solve the contradiction between fidelity and efficiency requirements. Real- time collision detection algorithm based on spatial partition and time coherence is utilized to enable fast contact determination. Proxy-based collision response algorithm is proposed to compute surface contact point. Cutting force model based on piecewise contact transition model is proposed for dental drilling simulation during tooth preparation. Velocity-driven levels of detail haptic rendering algorithm is proposed to maintain high update rate for complex scenes with a large number of triangles. Haptic- visual collocated dental training prototype is established using half-mirror solution. Typical dental op- erations have been realized including dental caries exploration, detection of boundary within dental cross-section plane, and dental drilling during tooth preparation. 8Impact of ablation ratio on 5-year postoperative posterior corneal stability after refractive surgery:SMILE and FS-LASIK显示文摘Background:To investigate the impact of the ablation ratio on 5-year postoperative posterior corneal stability in myopic eyes after small incision lenticule extraction(SMILE)and femtosecond laser-assisted in situ keratomileusis(FS-LASIK)surgery.Methods:A prospective,nonrandomized,cohort study:80 eyes of 43 patients underwent SMILE surgery and 63 eyes of 32 patients underwent FS-LASIK surgery at the EYE&ENT Hospital,Fudan University.Ablation ratio was defined as lenticule thickness(SMILE cases)or ablation depth(FS-LASIK cases)divided by central corneal thickness(CCT).Posterior corneal elevation changes were recorded as posterior central elevation(PCE),posterior corneal surface at thinnest point(PTE)and posterior corneal mean elevation(PME).Patients were followed up at 6-month and 5-year interval to investigate the impact of the ablation ratio on posterior corneal elevation after SMILE and FSLASIK surgery.Results:PCE dropped at the 6-month follow-up for both SMILE(decreased by−1.11±2.93μm,P<0.05)and FSLASIK groups(decreased by−0.46±3.72μm,P<0.05).PTE also dropped in SMILE(reduced by−2.04±3.02μm,P<0.05)and FS-LASIK group(reduced by−1.28±4.21μm,P<0.05)at the 6-month follow-up.Stable PCE(elevation change:SMILE−0.28±4.03μm;FS-LASIK 0.79±4.13μm,P>0.05)and PTE(elevation change:SMILE−0.08±4.28μm;FS-LASIK 1.42±3.85μm,P>0.05)for both groups were recorded at the 5-year follow-up compared to the 6-month visit.Ablation ratio was strongly correlated with 5-year postoperative PCE(β=2.68±1.05,P<0.01)and PTE(β=2.35±1.17,P<0.05).Cut-off value for 5-year postoperative raised PCE and PTE was 27.3 and 27.1%,respectively.Conclusions:Ablation ratio was strongly correlated with postoperative posterior corneal elevation in a 5-year follow-up in both SMILE and FS-LASIK groups.PCE and PTE underwent slight backward displacement 6-month postoperatively and remain stable at the 5-year follow-up.Threshold of the ablation ratio for resisting forward displacement of posterior corneal surface was 27.3 and 27.1%for SMILE and FS-LASIK groups,respectively.Meiyan Li Danjuan Yang Yu Zhao Weiming Yang Jianmin Shang Xueyi Zhou Peijun Yao Dong Yang Xue Lin Xingtao Zhou 2020Eye and Vision2020,7,1:1

15Short-term toxic effects of chlorobenzenes on broadbean (Vicia faba) seedlings显示文摘The root growth, changes in superoxide dismutase (SOD, EC 1.15.1.1) activity,malonyldialdehyde (MDA) and total soluble protein level of broadbean (Vicia faba) seedlings were researched at different soil concentrations of chlorobenzene (CB), 1,2,4-trichlorobenzene (TCB) and hexachlorobenzene (HCB). The results showed that root growth of seedlings was growth was, however, restored to some extent although there was a delay in returning to the control level. The total soluble protein content in seedlings increased with TCB concentration and duration of exposure. Effect of TCB stress on SOD activity in seedlings displayed a significant were placed in clean tap water for 3 d following exposure to 5 d of TCB stress to clear tap water (P<0.05). The experiments also revealed that a significant increase of MDA level in seedlings was a positive correlation between TCB concentration and MDA level. All the above results showed that SOD activity and MDA level of broadbean seedlings might be proposed as the biomarkers for short-term TCB contamination in soil. 19Monitoring rock desert formation caused by two different origins(ice-snow melting and drying)in the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau of China by considering topographic and meteorological elements显示文摘Monitoring rock desert formation caused by two different origins(ice-snow melting and drying)through remote sensing is crucial to our understanding of the interaction between the underlying surface of different rock desert and land-atmosphere types,as well as the relationship between bare land and soil erosion.A number of achievements have been made in remote sensing monitoring of desert areas,but there is a lack of accurate classification and remote sensing identification of rock desert types based on formation mechanism.In this study,the north and south sides of the eastern Kunlun Mountains in the northern part of the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau of China were taken as the study areas.Landsat operational landscape imager,digital elevation model,and precipitation and temperature grid data were used as data sources.By identifying the bare areas based on the normalized difference vegetation index(NDVI),we used the multi-element fusion method of contours,isotherms,and isohyets to identify the rock desert types in the ice-snow melting and dry areas.The results showed that:(1)the rock desert areas identified by remote sensing based on topographic and meteorological elements were highly accurate,with an overall accuracy of 88.45%and kappa coefficient of 0.77.The multi-element fusion method of contours,isotherms,and isohyets could effectively identify the rock desert types in the ice-snow melting and dry areas;(2)the optimal segmentation range of the ice-snow melting and dry areas was 3600 m contour,-2°C-2°C isotherms,and 100-130 mm isohyets.The areas with elevation less than 3600 m,annual average temperature higher than 2°C,and average annual precipitation less than 100 mm were rock desert in the dry areas.The range of-2°C-2°C isotherms and 100-130 mm isohyets was the transition area between the ice-snow melting and dry areas.The areas with elevation higher than 3600 m,annual average temperature less than-2°C,and average annual precipitation higher than 130 mm were rock desert in the ice-snow melting areas;and(3)the identification accuracy of the bare areas based on the NDVI method was better,specifically,the identification accuracy of plain bare areas was generally better than that of mountain bare areas.The remote sensing identification method considers not only the topographic factors that have great influence on the spatial distribution of the two types of rock desert areas,but also the meteorological factors,which can provide a scientific reference for the effective identification of the two types of rock desert areas.JIA Wei SHI Peijun WANG Jing'ai MA Weidong XIA Xingsheng ZHOU Yuantao 2022Journal of Arid Land2022,14,8:0
20World Regionalization of Climate Change(1961–2010)显示文摘Traditional climate classification or regionalization characterizes the mean state of climate condition, which cannot meet the demand of addressing climate change currently. We have developed a climate change classification method, as well as the fundamental principles, an indicator system, and mapping techniques of climate change regionalization. This study used annual mean temperature and total precipitation as climatic indices, and linear trend and variation change as change indices to characterize climate change quantitatively. The study has proposed a scheme for world climate change regionalization based on a half century of climate data(1961–2010). Level-I regionalization divides the world into 12 tendency zones based on the linear trend of climate, level-II regionalization resulted in 28 fluctuation regions based on the variation change of climate.
